So good! First off, the lovely girl who took our order over the phone, her name was Cass. She was so nice and friendly over the phone!! We ordered fettuccine carbonara and fettuccine con salsiccia which were both delicious! And the lemon myrtle calamari which was made fresh when we arrived to pick up our order. The servings are so big! We had leftovers for lunch today ! Cannot fault. I love it. So good!!
Had a reservation here last night for 12 people. The meals & service were exceptional and I would highly recommend to diners looking for quality & quantity in a main course. The only blemish was I found being seated at the end of our table, was at times coming into contact with waiting staff. There could be a bit more spacing between tables to avoid this. I will definitely return for future dining & a Big thumbs up!
Excellent service and a team that genuinely wanted to provide good food and meet customers needs. We had two people who had food restrictions and the team were very supportive to find something that worked for them.

Good sized portions and tasty food. Service was excellent despite being full on a Friday night. Staff were a patient and accommodating with our requests for our kids and definitely recommend this restaurant.
Food as always is really nice . The staff here are amazing , attentive and friendly and they go out of their way to make the kids feel welcome .

The steak, with veg and pan jus is awesome, and the staff are always really beautiful to us, my daughter is always asking to go there if we ask her if she wants to decide what we have for dinner/eat out, it's worth it and always see what the specials are, they are always great. Cosy atmosphere also, thanks guys :)

Had the most delicious lunch here yesterday. We had entree to share - Bruschetta Rossa, Nonna's Meatballs & Lemon Myrtle Calamari. They were all gorgeous, but the calamari was to die for! I had the Chicken Scallopine for Main and it was so tender and the mushroom sauce so yummy, my friends had the Spaghetti Marinara and Angus Beef Filleto and they couldn't stop raving over the quality and flavour. My friend said the steak was especially nice, cooked as requested to perfection and with mushroom sauce. We finished off with the most scrumptious desserts and coffee - Strawberry Crepes & Berry Ice-Cream. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I hate having a lovely meal ruined with bad coffee at the end, but was happy to report the coffee here at Shanikas @ Viale lived up to the excellent flavours of the rest of the meal. The service of the staff was also wonderful. They were so helpful with explaining the dishes and were very accommodating when my friend requested slight changes to his meal. The manager, Nigel, came over and made sure we were happy with the meal & service and stayed and chatted with us for a few minutes and was really interested in our opinions. Do yorself a favour and try this wonderful Italian restaurant that rivals any fancy CBD one and is quietly tucked away in outer suburban Pakenham. Delicious food, friendly service and lovely decor & atmosphere, exactly what an Italian restaurant should be like. What a find!

Bit on the expensive side but the food was delicious and service was excellent. Decor was lovely, quite formal and comfortable. Wouldn't go back too often but for a special occasion it's nice.
