We went here for a quick Sunday brunch with our little bub. We were greeted wonderfully by the waiters and i think the manager. We were supposed to sit inside but it was too crowded for our little so we requested to move outside. The lady serving us helped us carrying the high chair, opening the door and even moving our coffee and stuff for us. Their service is absolutely wonderful. Not to mention their food is amazing too! The food came out so quickly too! I just wish there was more to it in our orders or maybe we were just so hungry?
Have been meaning to come here for awhile now as it’s getting great reviews & friends of ours love it. Well, so do we! Very busy, good vibe sort of place & managed to snag a table. Great coffee, friendly service. My banana bread (pictured) was absolutely yum! We shall be back for sure.
We had a late lunch here on a very busy ANZAC day. Despite the crowds, service was prompt and friendly. Loved the pulled pork eggs benedict.
I have been here many times as i live in the area and its always a hit or miss with how it goes. The service is sometimes terrible or sometimes great. Today i had veggie sliders and the burgers were green and tasted like food dye. However the breakfast meals are great such as the egg benny's. I also think the wraps are extremely overpriced but the new update to the decor is amazing.
I did not know of Frankies. I was looking for a brunch option and happened to spot them. Seemed busy with all tables outside being occupied. I walked in to an open brightly lit space with windows all round allowing natural light in. I took a menu from the counter and at first thought I'd be out of luck. The brekky options were less than traditional in that there was no "big brekky" listed. This was a refreshing change. I chose a BLT Ciabatta and a side of fries (see photo).
It was tasty and fresh, the fries crunchy as they should brand the coffee was just what I needed. The service was spot on, no hovering but prompt to tidy up. It you're after a relaxed atmosphere and fresh food I'd suggest Frankies in Lakeside. I'll be back in the very near future to try their burgers, of which there are many.
Incredibly tasty eggs benny! Big portions with quick and friendly customer service. Very open and well lit cafe within walking distance from a beautiful lake. Very lovely cafe experience

Food was great, coffee even better. Service was perfect. Shop looks amazing since the renovations have been completed too. Definitely give it a try

Love this place they do a great chai and coffee and their granola crunch for breakfast. FFC Burger was also top quality however would be great with a broader menu and some more healthy options 👌
Could not fault this venue! Polite and friendly service and amazing food presented in a wonderful way. This place (quality and decor) stands out like a sore thumb in Pakenham in such a positive way. It seems far too hip for the area and as soon as you step inside you forget what suburb you're in. Absolutely love this place!
What this area needed for sure. Not short of coffee shops in the area but this one feels like it hasn't been built 100 years ago. The food was good. Had a little inner city feel to menu without losing its country charm. Coffee and service were good.
Ordered the Eggs Benny. It was delicious! The presentation on the plate was very welcoming and it tasted amazing. Definitely coming back! :)
Came here for breakfast the first time today, although we've been to Frankie's in Warragul a few times already.
My wife had the bacon n eggs (poached) with some hash browns, my daughter had the fruit bread and I had the smashed avocado. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was spot on. It has been a while since we had a really good breakfast out and this definitively hit the spot. The hash browns were beautiful and the fruit bread was exceptional. We will definitely be back again.
Second time eating here as i thought i would give the place a second chance, and very glad i did. I had the Gypsy Eggs off the apparent new breakfast menu and loved it. A great change from the normal egg and bacon or Benedict. My friend went for the smashed avocado and was very positive. Not sure what has happened but a huge improvement on our first visit. Would recommend.
Food's not bad, at least not if you're getting a burger. Very nice beef burgers at this place. Bit expensive at $16 a pop but that's not unheard of and I'd say it's fair enough for the quality.
What I have a harder time forgiving though is that they close the grill at 2PM so if you're showing up after work and want a burger it's just not going to happen.
In terms of drinks, the milkshakes are pretty good, though again slightly expensive, and the coffees are pretty average, nothing spectacular but not undrinkable either.
Overall, the way the place is managed is frankly bizarre and the staff seem inexperienced but the food is decent.
One of the nicer cafe's in Pakenham, probably the reason it's always so busy. If you want a more Melbourne-esque vibe this is probably the closest you'll find in this area. Coffee is good, a good spot to grab a takeaway and have a stroll around the lake.
Nice place to grab a quick lunch after shopping around that area. Friendly staffs and nice coffee. Food was good but could be better.

I enjoyed my breakfast wrap, my partner had the deep fried chicken burger he wasn't as impressed. Its a nice little set up, we enjoyed our time here. The place was clean, and we were welcomed warmly. The staff were a little bit dopey on the day, but still kind. My parents had the bacon and eggs in Turkish bread, which they enjoyed.
