Review Dune Cafe - Palm Beach

I think I found my favourite cafe on the coast. Wonderful service , the waitresses are extremely friendly. The food was much nicer than expected, high quality. Wonderful atmosphere, especially with all the dogs having fun nearby. I will most definitely be back again. Excellent parking and nearby walking trails.

Perfect spot of breakfast on a sunny day. The staff were an absolute delight, nothing was too much trouble even when they were busy. We enjoyed the chilli scramble bowl and beetroot and goats cheese toast with some great coffees. I'll definitely be back.

Good coffee and delicious food. The Benny croissant came in a fairly big portion with a fair price. I personally really liked the hollandaise sauce. It was creamy and rich. The eggs were well poached. Coffee was tasty. The bitterness was lingering but not overpowering. The ordering system was straightforward and convenient to use. Our food came out fairly quickly given how busy they were this morning. The view was fabulous from we were sitting.

Had a great time, lovely food and good atmosphere, the staff where very helpful and friendly. Will be going back often. Quiet while we were there, but I would imagine with the beautiful views it would be packed on nice day's.

Beautiful coffee, milkshakes are fantastic, savoury muffin was delicious and friendly customer service. Location is fantastic too.

Had Breaky burger and it was completely delicious. Crispy bacon, lettuce, tangy sauce and a soft bun - winning. Coffee was good too. Heaps of places to sit and a lovely outside area near the creek. Plus it’s just down from the Pirate Park. Opens at 6am for coffee and 6.30 for food. Good for the kids too and safe enough away from the water not to stress you out. Heaps of parking too.

Beautiful location, great food and lovely staff. I’ve been several times and each time the food has been fantastic. I took my daughter for her birthday and we had bonus live music with our meal.

Very nice food, produce was fresh. Coffee was just okay. Not a great flavour. My daughter's smoothie was nice. Girl who served us was miserable.

Great place for everyone, there's plenty to keep the kids occupied. Beautiful scenery and the food and drink are yummo. Lovely staff that seem to be genuinely enjoying their job. This place ticks all the boxes

It is a nice location with morning sun but wasn't a good experience for us. Staff was unfriendly and when we order a cappuccino and flat white they bring two flat white and when we say that supposed to be a cappuccino they take it back(with a face) and put some cacao powder on the top and bring it back. The food also was very small portion and cold, oily both not with the runny poached eggs at all. So cannot recommend it really unless you don't care about breakfast quality and service

After morning stroll at the beach, we stopped by here to get some lunch and coffees. I like the decor of the cafe and this time was quite busy with few queque because of the school holiday. Here you can wait for your kids while playing at the playground in front however dogs are not allowed in the cafe but there is a place nearby to tie them. We ordered a sandwich, nachos, kids menu's fish and chips, a mars bar cake and some coffee and drinks.
Overal, the food was okay nothing really makes me want to comeback however the mars bar cake was not as good as it looks because it was kinda to dry.
Service was good and they have free wifi available.
A nice little spot to sit with a green outlook and work, free wifi available. Lots of families and kids here on a weekend and you can see why with lots of space from them to play and run around.
Simple, basic menu, didn't eat because wasn't overly impressed by the options. Coffee was nice though.Lots of dogs out the front as well as owners get a takeaway.

That's right. Absolutely misleading that this place is pet-friendly. Immediately left the venue as a result. I'm sorry but this is very disappointing!

False Advertising. Not dog friendly and should not be promoted as such. If I wanted to tie my dog up on the sidewalk out of sight I would go to... oh, any other cafe on the Gold Coast.

Specifically lists itself as catering to early morning dog walkers and is on several websites as dog friendly. That means you actually let dogs sit with their owners albeit in outside or specific areas. I don't care if you are not dog friendly but don't promote it like you are.

Whilst the location of this cafe is nice, and there look to be nice things on the menu, we were very disappointed with the device at the front counter by a rude and disgruntled staff member who seems to hate her job and everyone that interrupts her. The fish and chips meal we ordered was terrible, oily, the fish wasn't even fish! It was like crumbed batter! I've had better calamari from the supermarket. We were also offered plates to eat the meal by one of the (nicer) staff members, as the fish and chips was wrapped up as takeaway. We said no at first then decided we wanted plates, only to be told by the rude cashier that it was takeaway only and we couldn't have plates! Seriously, we paid $47 for some disgusting fish and chips and a couple of drinks and you can't spare us a couple of plates. This is the first time I've put a review on urban spoon but I was so disappointed with the dune cafe I felt compelled to share it, poor food, terrible service,

Great!. My sister and I stopped by after a trip to the local dog beach. Great, fast and friendly service with constant sweeps by staff to keep the area clean and tidy. We ordered a citrus crush and a mocha frappe. The citrus crush was made on raspberry sorbet and was tart, sweet and very refreshing considering the heat of the day. The mocha frappe was a perfect blend of chocolate and coffee, with neither flavour dominating but still having strong tastes of both. They're also dog friendly of course and I would highly recommend going here for a quick drink after a trip to the beach!

We could be miles away from the high rise sprawl; it’s so green, so peaceful…the main fare’s really ‘upmarket healthy’ with an emphasis is on organic, fresh and local where possible.
