Up visiting from Brisbane and popped in for a quick lunch and the service, atmosphere and food were fantastic. When back in town will definitely return and 10/10 recommend
With outdoor and indoor seating available, lovely in all weather. Friendly service, and just across the beach, best in summer when one can start off with a drink watching the view while pondering what to have. We started off with a beautiful scallop entree.
The restaurant has both extensive alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
I had the spanner crab linguine which is the recommended dish. As expected, it was delicious, although it was a little on the saltier side.
We had entrees of tuna tartare, pork, both great, and for main the eye fillet with radicchio salad. All the food was wonderfully balanced and tasty. Great friendly and attentive service. Couldn’t fault the place. We are going back for round 2!
This restaurant not disappointed. Ambiance was good and seating also good. I like environment and food taste was good
Nothing bad to say about this place
Venue is spectacular
Old house on the main strip turned into a open resteraunt
Drinks were superb, Hendricks gin and tonic, and French martini
Service was great, we had a lovely lady who looked after us all night
Foods were great, chef was fantastic, flavours that we never thought would go together did
Some of the freshest tuna and oysters my partner and I have had anywhere in the world!
And then the mains just topped off a pretty perfect experience
Will be back 100%
So impressed! Went with a group of 10 people and none of us could fault it. The service was amazing & we are so grateful for the effort they went to. Food was amazing & highly recommend saving room for dessert!!
Authentic Italian cuisine .We ordered two spaghetti linguini together with a Radicchio salad including pine nuts and pistachio orange salad .The meal was outstanding and delicious.Service is very efficient and very courteous. We completed the meal with an authentic Genovese Italian latte. Will definitely return .
Been to Vivo on three separate occasions during our week long stay in Palm Cove, and I am yet to fault this place! Service is outstanding, cocktails delicious and food fantastic! We have dined in for the $25 dinner special which consisted of garlic prawn linguini and a glass of wine, then again for cocktails and tapas for happy hour, and lastly for the three course menu special. Genuinely faultless. Kudos also to the waiter who would bring me a blanket when I was cold (I know, who’d have thought a) that I would need a blanket in FNQ and b) that they would have them for use at the restaurant. It’s been an unusually cold week in Palm Cove!). Just goes to show the level of service at this venue. A great dining experience every time and our favourite spot to eat and drink in Palm Cove.
Amazing !!!
I had the crab omelette it was to die for
The service is lovely the atmosphere is perfect
If you’re visiting palm cove , please stop in for a meal
Really beautiful place right on the beach, the food was delicious as was the wine and service. Will be going back for sure 😊 not a bad word to say totally enjoyed this place.
The food was excellent, as was the service. We had the lamb and pork belly which were both excellent. A little odd that the pork belly had no crackling but was delicious all the same.
A tad expensive, but worth it in the end.
All I can say is happy hour! They have such good tapas ( my favourite - fish bites, chicken wings) and drinks. We enjoyed our drinks here and the atmosphere next to the beach is also just an added bonus.
Orange margarita and the palm cove mojito is great! Such a cool place to chill out at.
Stunning restaurant with almost all tables overlooking the beach and ocean. We decided to get a series of entrees to share rather than mains (visited for dinner). All food was delicious, but the scallops, soft shell crab and tiger prawn dumpling special were particular highlights. Staff were attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. Would definitely return and recommend to others!
Fantastic olace and i hardly ever give 5's This the first time that a high volume tourist area has produced something if such a high standard IMO. Service is very friendly and prompt. No one was too busy to acknowledge you. One of my pet hates is staff ignoring you pretending to be busy but these guys have obviously been well mentored and trained. Kitchen brigade is well organised and food came out quickly despite the place being full. Food was excellent too. Wifey had breakfast board which tasted as good as it looked. They also did a cool kids breakfast which gave heaps of options and fun for the kids to eat which gave Mum and Dad a break to enjoy our food. This place ticked every box. A great stop off.
This restaurant did not disappoint. We had breakfast & dinner. Friendly service, well presented , flavoursome food. Recommend would definitely eat there again
Absolutely gorgeous meal. Nicely refined food - service was good, even bringing out a pillow and blanket for our 7 yr old to lay under on our bench seat as she was exhausted. Will definitely visit again.
Happy hour: the best time of day on holidays!! Really good value for cheaper drinks and tapas during 3-5pm. Palm cove is definately not the cheapest of places (that’s no secret) so when you find a good happy hour, that’s all you need. We had the bruschetta, chunky chips and duo of dips. $5 each and good quality. Bruschetta was definately the pick of the bunch though! Drinks were coral sea breeze and orange Margherita (YUM) cocktails are $13 each
Had a great dinner. All the food was top notch. I had the maranara but others had the gnocchi ragú and it was also excellent. Highly recommend.
I am visiting palm cove from Melbourne and have been here for lunch and dinner! I loved the linguine it was delicious and great balance of flavours. On another occasion I got the bruschetta and a side salad and that was very average and the wait time on food was over an hour so that was pretty disappointing. I also got the hot chocolate dessert which takes 15 mins to prepare and was also disappointed because it tasted like something I could make in a mug in my microwave on a cold Melbourne night and for the price I expected much more! However today for lunch I enjoyed the green tea brûlée which was amazing! Awesome flavours which I was a bit worried about at first but it tasted lovely. Overall good experience, I would go back but I think only for lunch because at dinner time it’s to busy and there isn’t enough staff!
Food was fabulous.
Highly recommend the duck dumplings, and crab linguine. The specials were worth checking out, I had the most beautiful barramundi with crab and pram lasagne - topped with quail lollipops?! Different and Delicious.
The special dessert was nice but not something I'd order again.
Cocktail special was a nice addition.
A good place to have a rest and a taste after swimming at the beach in the afternoon. The service is great. Nice staffs and gentle attitude. Friendly to kids. The lunch tasted good and the garlic bread was delicious. Their happy hour is from 3pm to 5:30pm. Price is reasonable for a drink. Especially for the cocktail. It is nice to have a stay and to enjoy a break.
Our Palm Cove favourite! Awesome staff, and beautiful food, in the perfect location. Never had a bad meal or experience here. These guys know how to deliver great good and service. Big thanks to Agnes who always looks after us so well. Must try spanner crab linguine, seafood marinara and the garlic bread. Out of this world delicious! 😁😁😁 #1 in Palm Cove
Amazing food & ambiance. It's quite expensive for the qty served. We ordered mango daquiri, lychee martini. It was just divine.
For Entree- we ordered bruschetta, garlic bread and soft shell crab.. I wouldn't reorder the soft shell crab but the others were just amazing.
Mains- we had the yellow fin tuna pasta, Wild mushroom pasta, spaghetti marinara, pork belly.
Pork belly was average.. But their seafood pasta and wild mushrooms pasta was out of this world.
Dinner was awesome, yes, but dessert, oh my goodness. I don't ever like sweet things! I had the creme brûlée and quite the share of my partners chocolate tart and I was blown away.
Food is taste is art.
It is really hard sometimes when you are away from home and looking for a great place to eat, you are so scared of ruining the experience by dining at a place that would not earn the patronage if the location was not a holiday town. How many times have you been let down but have let it slide because you are on holidays and in a very forgiving mood? Vivo Bar And Grill is not that place; it can stand on its own, head and shoulders above the other restaurants in the local area.
From the time we were seated and had ice-cold water poured for us, the service was very friendly and professional without being cloying. Waiting staff were observant, without being all over you, noticing when you needed something and when you needed to be left alone. The verandah location opposite Palm Cove beach was beautiful, with the sound of the waves reminding you that you are not at home and don't have to think about work. Yay!
The meals, while not cheap, are well worth the cost as the memory of the taste, the sight and the experience stay with you after you have finished. My wife had the Coral Trout with mussels on a bed of potato with a light garlic sauce. The sauce was not overpowering and complemented rather than dominated the seafood. Needless to say she was impressed.
My meal was a black Angus steak and potato on a bed of spinach in red wine jus. I asked for medium rare and while delicious, I think it tended moreso towards medium.
Boy #2 had the pork belly with char grilled vegetables and it must have been good because he cleaned the plate up and this kid is not a vegetable lover by any means.
Overall, Vivo Bar And Grill is not cheap but you get what you pay for and we would gladly go back again.
No one likes it when you see people publicly argue.....especially seemingly high end restaurant staff! But that's exactly what I saw with this place. Arguments, misunderstandings, manic waiters. Very odd....
To the food, it was good. Duck dumplings best I've had, the lamb was nice although small portions.
Just a shame the service was chaotic.
Went here for dinner and the food was excellent! Beautiful scallops and soft shell crab for entree. Mushroom pasta for main was amazing. Came here for lunch next day as well and had a hearty crepe filled with pork belly.
Great place.
Came he several times. A few during happy hour for tapas and cocktails, once for breakfast and once for dinner.
Awesome cocktails, the duck dumplings and baby calamari are to die for.
In terms of dinner, waiter forgot to bring our entree but no big deal at end of the day.
Ordered steak for myself, my daughter also had a steak off the kids menu. My wife had the mushroom pasta. My daughter, who like most 3 year olds can be fussy, happily are her steak. Mine was magnificent. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I should add it was the scotch fillet off the specials menu. The mash it came with was a little lumpy and just average which was a little disappointing. I had some of my wife's pasta. OMG! It was close to the best pasta ever!
Service was friendly and good value for money.
Would highly recommend this place.
Recommended by friends and as soon as we arrived, I can understand why! Greeted with smiles grins and jokes, all the staff were having a great time! What I love about this place is the recommendations, catering for dietary requirements and more. The Antipasta was very generous. Depending on what your palate can handle you can have the the spanner crab mild medium or hot. Being a lover of chilli and spice, the hot version was extremely tasty and gave you a warm radiance. The spaghetti marinara equally was amazing. If you want good seafood pasta and more- this is your place.
My partner and I went for lunch today. Ordered the all day breakfast and wagyu burger. It was overall really good. Service was excellent. The happy hour cocktails were really nice too. Ended up ordering 3 sin city (expresso martinis) since it was so good. I'm from Sydney and I haven't had such a good Expresso Martini till date.
First restaurant we visited when we arrived in beautiful palm cove ! Service is fantastic and the seaview was gorgeous. We had the spanner crab linguine and fish & chips - both were delicious !
Amazing food! Nice views! Great service! And did I mention amazing food?
Slightly on the expensive side, but worth every penny. Had a good lunch here with my family.
excellent selection of oyesters and main dish of special dish of a day Spanish mackerel has been awesome and I could finish even though I wasn't hungry
Wonderful food and great view! Every dish we ordered turned out perfect.. the stomach was full but the heart still wanted more.. exquisite dishes all of them!
Had the eggs benny here. It was amazing! After an overnight flight from Perth with no sleep, my boo and I could eat the crotch out of a low flying duck....and did we ever!! Well the eggs benny anyway. Very nice and the coffee was fantastic. Look forward to heading here again.
This place is on the esplanade and has a wonderful menu! So many choices and lots are inspired by asian flavours. We ordered the pancake - full of greens, herbs and prawns. Huge size, very flavoursome and value for money. We also ordered the special - a healthy egg white omelette with a beetroot relish, enoki mushrooms, a slice of rye and greens - this was awesome. We also got a few juices (these were expensive, about $9-$10). Staff were friendly and service was extremely fast, which was good considering that there was heaps of people there. Worth a visit if if in area.
Went back for dinner again and the food was
outstanding - tuna ceviche, gyoza and veggies! Yum
Crab omelette was fantastic!! Coffees were TOO hot (couldn't touch the glass) had to order "warm" which was made perfectly.
The service on both mornings was excellent, but in the afternoon for the cocktail drinks was a bit slow.
The "happy hour" from 3pm-5pm was great value. Dips were sensational (especially the Hummus). The Calamari and Barramundi spring rolls to die for.
The Espresso Martini cocktails were was too strong on the coffee side, best cocktail was the "Cojito" (coconut version of a Mojito)
The Nasi Goreng and Wagu Beef burger was sensational
Fantastic restaurant for any meal of the day, wonderful ambience and vibe, delicious food, great drinks and friendly service. Highly recommend the spanner crab linguine - but you can't go wrong with much else on the menu!
Food is great and service was fantastic. Highly reccommed. Only problem was having to catch the eye of staff. Very busy place when we went. Great location in the heart of the cove.
Tasty food, good service and a great view. Happy hour cocktails were decent but lacked a little punch, thought the coffee was a little average too.
Everything pleases here; the view from the street, the decor inside and the ambience, the friendly and attentive service and the well presented and very tasty food. A tad on the expensive side but with a view of the ocean and well spaced tables, this is one we will be back to.
They have one of the best nasi goreng I've tasted so far. It was fresh and it was delicious. Tons of shrimps were tossed in it with a very spicy sauce dressing. The service was quick and fantastic, staff were very friendly and accommodating too. We would definitely come back here.
If you are staying in Palm Cove for a couple of days, chances are you will end up here at least at some stage! The architectural design of this restaurant is right up my alley and therefore I just gravitate to Vivo! Came for coffee and breakfast burgers one morning, which was really good. On another occasion came for cocktails and a chill out before having dinner. Just a great place where you know you can relax and enjoy whatever comes your way!
Absolutely delicious , service friendly and attentive . Enjoyed the variety in the menu . Something for every one . Highly recommend
Had a nice Australia Day dinner. I had the lamb dish it was very good. Full of great flavour. The asparagus that came with the dish was very fresh and well cooked and the potato was interesting but very nice. My favourite part was the dessert I had the chocolate tart that was just amazing with a bit of chocolate ice cream. So good. Overall a pretty good night. I would recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious - my partner & I ordered the breakfast burger which we both thoroughly enjoyed..we were practically licking our plates! Coffee was great, and that view of the crystal blue water is what makes this place. Staff aren't so attentive but who cares when you are facing one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia?!
Had brunch eggs benedict which was perfect and very generous serving of bacon. I asked for strong tea and that is exactly what i got! The hollandaise sauce was authentic too.
Dinner tonight was fantastic. The scallops wrapped in prosciutto and coral reef trout were delicious.
Kids meals were adult portions.
Great wine list. Service excellent. We did not want dessert so opted for the cheese platter which was generous and balanced with fruit and crackers.
No matter breakfast lunch or dinner Vivo is consistant and great ambience. Highly recommend and is one of the best places in Palm Cove

I dined at Vivo on a Sunday for brunch with a couple of friends. Such a beautiful place, we had sea views from our table and it was a glorious day.
I felt like something a bit sweet so opted for buttermilk pancakes but traded banana for bacon. I also had a fresh OJ.
Service was prompt but I felt like our waitress was rushing us and didnt give us much time to decide on the menu before she was back again.
I was absolutely amazed at my plate when it came out. Thickest yet fluffiest pancakes ive ever eaten! And the 'side' of bacon would have feed the whole table. Yum! My juice was ok, tasted like it came from a bottle which was disappointing for $8.
I would have rated higher but the pushy waitress let the meal done unfortunately.
Went for brunch and wasn't disappointed.
Great service, great coffee and great food. All at a very good price! Would definitely recommend.
Came here for dinner on the last night of our honeymoon and we're impressed with the high quality of the food.
We started with the scallop entree with prosciutto and gruyere which was delicious and creamy. Only received 3 scallops which I guess is standard but made sharing tricky.
Then we ordered the beef cheek and duck curry. The beef cheek was delicious, falling apart, rich flavours and well balanced, would definitely recommend.
The duck curry was tasty and generous, the only downside was the amount of bean shoots present, it could be considered a bean shoot curry with duck, flavour was good, but the pancake ended up soggy, perhaps some rice would counter this?
The absolute standout was the dessert, we ordered Deconstructed lemon tart and OMG- amazing! One of the best desserts we've had at a restaurant!
We scoffed it down and looked at each other, then at the same time said "would it be wrong to lick the plate?" we of course didn't but gosh it was a great dessert!
The staff were efficient and polite, not overly friendly but did their job well and we never had to wait long for service or our meals.
Thanks for a great and memorable meal Vivo!
We have been here twice for a meal since being in Palm Cove and it's excellent food and the staff are great. If you're looking for take away coffee can't go by Vivo.
Delicious food with a beautiful view! The staff we fantastic especially with kids. We had the pasta marinara and the blue swimmer linguine- seriously tasty worth the $! I would say it's the best restaurant in Palm Cove 👌🏻
Fantastic! Food, cocktails, friendly and efficient staff. Chef is clearly still engaged, desserts were inventive and delicious. Could happily eat here several times a week and not get bored.
Wow what an experience! I had the garlic ciabatta with parmesan for entree. The garlic was toasted in it's own pod on the side of the buttered ciabatta so pretty special and unique. The duck curry main was pretty awesome. I wasn't that hungry but managed to eat it all. If you are looking for a dining experience that you will remember than definitely check this place out...you won't regret it
It's the best rated restaurant (at time of writing this) so had to check it out. I had the duck curry which was generous in
Portion and had a great fresh Thai overtones. My GF had the Thai beef salad which she said had great flavours. We also had the garlic bread to start which had a half of roasted garlic (to rub on the bread) and Parmesan cheese to sprinkle - was quite superb. Very good beer selection - we had our favourite - Stone and Wood served in chilled glasses - nice :). Overall very nice, not disappointed, reasonable value for money.
Best place in Palm Cove. Food options for dinner are great, set menu is well priced and the coffee and muffins during the day are delicious. The service is a stand out, fast friendly and efficient. Awesome views from the balcony as well. Great place for kids as well. Thank you.
Perfectly placed at Palm Cove. We came here a few years back and were impressed then so we had to come past again. Vivo has prime position overlooking the spectacular beach that fronts the row of restaurants and hotels that make up this resort location. The menu is great. The indoor and outdoor seating reminiscent of some kind of country lodge with wooden tables and overhead fans. My soft shell crab salad was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere here...
Terrific food, lovely building, great location, consistently good time after time. Special mention to the special duck shank salad that had us returning the very next day. Mandarin cake a highlight and burger is always good, as is the coffee. Generous and tasty children's options.
Updated review with photos- the service has really improved. Happy hour with tapas is terrific. Great variety of food, plenty of options. Only downside, duck in pancake was inexplicably cold. Very nice though and desserts remain terrific. The chocolate tart is to die for.
This place have very good coffee! I have found that it's really hard to find good coffee outside of Melbourne and Sydney, however this place is an exception. I tried, the pancakes, they were really tasty and well presented, nothing extraordinary but deserves a good rating. Also the staff are latinos and they give awesome service.
Best breakfast in Palm Cove. Fabulous coffee AND the best, friendliest team of servers.
Dinner was also excellent with a great atmosphere. Just love it and cannot wait until we return.
Came from Melb for a week away for a week and we stayed at the mantra so the restaurant was right in front of our hotel! Amazing view! We had our first meal which was breakfast and i got a mango purée with bush honey drink and i still cant get anything like that ever anywhere! Then during lunch i had there ice tea which hit the spot in that heat with my spätzle which was so delicious! I was very happy! I do wish the staff was a tad friendly.
Really nice restaurant. We went over for a quick lunch. The service was quick, the wait staff were friendly and attentive. We had the bruschetta, pork belly salad chips. The bruschetta was really tasty and looked very appealing. The pork belly was light and had a Thai theme, warm and fruity. All for $61 including 2x coffees. Will recommend this whenever you visit Port Douglas.
Great modern, tasty food and superb service with a view to match. Great place to go for a fancy dinner out. Only complaint is I wish some of the chilly dishes had more kick, next time id ask to make it hot ;)
Walked around the whole esplanade to find a place for dinner. Was originally told that we would have to wait for dinner (one hour). The restaurant was busy but there were plenty of tables free - perhaps a lack of staff on a public holiday? Didn't end up waiting long. Had both seafood pastas - spanner crab linguine and the spaghetti marinara. Both were great, and this was by far the best dinner we had in Cairns! Drinks are worth a mention too. Would love to come back here one day :)
The location and ambience is second to none: The coral Sea to the front of me and I'm surrounded by tropical colour and a well above average friendly atmosphere. The food is exceptional; an adventure with all the comforts of 5 stars. Absolutely wonderful to look at and totally delicious.
All of the above is wonderful, decadent and utterly satisfying yet it is the staff that complete the perfection of the experience. Skilled to well beyond the expected competencies, friendly, courteous and with that very necessary 'chill' suited to the North Queensland context. Bravo
Wow first time here and will definitely come back. The beef cheeks are to die for - yum! Location, service snd food was all magnificent. Do yourself a favor.
Exceptional food, service and ambiance. Could not have been happier if I tried. We had the three course set menu and loved every bite of it. The cocktails were also very very delicious and I would love to go back again!!!
The food and service is just amazing, really like the scaloppini main, the relish is so delicious. The homemade lemonade was better than I thought it would be. The only thing I think need to improve is if the meals can be delivered at a faster pace. Other than that, Vivo is just a spectacular place to have dinner.
It was a great place to have lunch and dinner here. The restaurant was nice and clean. I really enjoyed the food and the view over the beach. Very very beautiful and relaxed environment. Most dishes were creative and were cooked very nice. Gyoza was very delicious. Salmon tartare was a little bit salty, but other dishes were above average. The dessert was fantastic! It was really delicious. The staff were friendly and service was good. Food price was reasonable. I really recommend this place.
New menu is great. Prawn gyouza is fantastic entrée and the king prawn linguine is amazing. Great place to dine out on the verandah and enjoy the ocean view
The view is amazing and the food is nice. The service was good We had a Wagu burger and a Nasigoreng. It was deliciously amazing.
Very nice food. Very relaxed environment. The view over the beach and out of the ocean is peaceful and hypnotic. Prawn and duck nasi goreng, together with a a glass of Sauv Blanc just made my lunch magic. Friendly staff were a credit to the business and made sure all our needs were met.
We ended up here two nights in a row and couldn't fault a dish. Over the two nights we enjoyed the Duck Carpaccio, Duck Spring Rolls, Fresh Coffins Bay Oysters, Eye Fillet, Gnocchi Ragu, Soft Shell Crab, Zucchini Flowers and Morton Bay Fettuccine. All the dishes were great, wine list was comprehensive and the staff were fantastic!!! Palm Cove prices but you know what your in for when you check into your hotel!!! Highly recommended when you in PC!!!!
Had our first dinner here at Palm Cove and we were soo impressed. The food was soooo good. We had the scallop in green curry sauce, and the bbq prawns as starters. Both were sooo delicious. I had the seafood marinara which was probably the best I have had. The pasta was so tender and the sauce so tasty and there was ample seafood. My partner had the slow cooked pork which he thought was lovely. During our five day stay, we have been here about 4-5 times and each time the food was lovely. Although the pasta marinara wasn't as nice as the first time when we went back for dinner the second time, it was still lovely. The home made lemonade was lovely and refreshing.
Ordered the gnocchi ragu and spanner crab pasta both were absolutely delicious. Best spot we ate while on holiday. Great service and beautiful setting. Would recommend to anyone who wants to have a special night out.
Party of 2
Location: outside
Entrée: Natural half a dozen oysters. The sand was still on these oysters which I was not a fan of getting all over my hands when I picked them up.
Mains: Pork belly and Marinara pasta. Pork belly was cooked very nicely and the apple slaw was delicious. However the pasta had piece of shell in it. The mussels were tiny and selfish had hardly any meat on it. The flavor was there but we were a bit disappointed with the quality of the seafood.
No desserts
Drinks: 2 glasses of white wine
Service: Slow. Our mains was served close to 55 minutes after we had ordered.
Food at Vivo is fantastic!! We ate lunch and dinner here during our stay - $49, 3 course meal including kangaroo salad, wild mushroom gnocchi, veal and creme brûlée for dessert. Only reason for not giving a 5 is that Vivo isn't that cheap, although not over the top either. Lunch is pretty good value. Recommended :)
Have been back to Vivo a few times now and am never disappointed. A late afternoon coffee & sweet treats quickly turned into cocktail hour, prompting another visit during our holiday stay - this time for tapas and cocktails. The food was delicious, prompt and generous. Great spot along the Palm Cove strip. I would rate higher for more friendly staff and better cocktails.
Great setting, delicious food and coffee.
Had the Bubble and Squeak and the Vietnamese pancake; both very tasty.
Fave breakfast so far on the Palm Cove strip.
Ate here 4 times during our week in palm cove. Staff were amazing, courteous and quick service, and lovely with the kids. Food was amazing breakfast, - particularly the awesome $10 kids breaky
. good coffee, drinks at sunset opposite the beach and divine dinner menu- the duck curry, pork belly and the tempura oysters were a highlight.
Will definitely be back. :)
My pasta and the meals were great. The wait staff attentive. The wine list deserves its Price tag because of the vintages but how about having something that is current vintage and reasonably priced. Overall though I really enjoyed this place
Kudos for craft beer of the month - best beer we've had in FNQ. Restaurant was very busy with a good buzz. We didn't have a reservation but managed to get a table. Food was really good. But at 9.30 it seemed like a race to pack up and empty the restaurant. We would have liked to hang out longer and have dessert and another drink but we felt almost pressured into leaving. What's the rush guys? Relax - you won't turn into a pumpkin.
Good food but service is a bit slow. We had the burger and barramundi fish n chips. The fish n chips was served in a nice paper bowl.
Great location and nice vibe.
Had dinner here on our last night before heading home to Melbourne. Really nice setting, great wine, good food, attentive service. Also they were very accommodating with our 8month old. Look forward to returning
Lovely food, lovely view and lovely staff BUT a real discrepancy in meal sizes. I had the soft shell crab which consisted of only one small can along with salad no bigger than an entree and my partner had the fish and chips which consisted of three large fish portions, large portion of chips and salad. All for the same price. I left feeling ripped off AND hungry.
We had a dinner at Vivo Palm Cove and everything was just amazing.
Quality food and great professional service.
Pasta was one of (if not the best) ones we have had in Australia. Cocktails were also delicious.
I'd recommend this place for high quality food and memorable nights. Great for a date night.
Excellent food and amazing service !!!
We had our last dinner there for the trip and what a great experience it was. Right from the get go, the staff were attentive and welcoming. The menu has great dishes to choose from. Keep up the good work guys !!!
Beautiful location right on esplanade beach front. Delicious Asian inspired menu. Cocktails were also very nice. Will definitely come back here again when holidaying in Palm cove. Staff were very attentive and friendly.
We had a great experience dining at Vivo. The service was excellent, despite it being busy. We ordered the crab linguini and mushroom pasta, which I had with gluten free pasta. The cocktail list is extensive and they were able to make many of the options as mocktails.
We had lunch at Vivo and it was probably the best meal in Palm Cove. All of the flavours were delicious with the standout dish being the braised beef with Singaporean flavours.
Service was friendly and efficient and you really felt taken care of. Definitely one o want to return to!
This to me is a special place. It felt special. The atmosphere, the staff, the owners, the guests. It just felt very good.
Very large restaurant, plenty of seating inside and on the many verandahs. With the beach across the road, it is a beautiful setting.
Today I was just able to try their coffee and muffin deal. Great coffee, very nice muffin. Very good value. Worth trying, at least once !
Would love to come back here and try some of their main dishes.
If the weather isn’t good
You need food to boost your mood.
I know these days are very windy in Palm Cove. Everytime it comes, the first thing that pops in my head is hot & spicy food.
But instead of chili, I prefer pepper because it makes my stomach warm rather than hot or even burn 🔥
Finally I found the perfect food for my craving. The taste was fulfilling my needs and expectations. Also the rib was cooked perfectly, very tender and juicy.
Yum!
I only hope the salad has more flavor.
My other food suggestions are wood fired ciabatta and salmon sashimi as entrée. The confit garlic is a bomb.
For cocktail I strongly recommended Caramelised Pineapple Daiquiri and French Margarita.
Best pairings for spicy food.
