This was the best breakfast i have had by far!
I am vegan and the staff where so friendly and helpful with my food to make it vegan! This place is beautiful and has a animal barn where you can pet and see all the barn animals, lots to choose from on there menu good smoothies, with kumbucha on tap!
If only i could drive from canberra to pambula everyday for there food!!!

What a beautiful place! Pretty surroundings, farm animals to pat, a garden centre, lovely gift shops next door and above all, absolutely delicious food and fabulously helpful and friendly staff. The lemon cake was utterly divine, and they even let me copy the recipe! Great coffee and milkshakes too, and the staff were so good accommodating special dietary requirements. Highly recommended! We would even consider a day trip from Canberra to come here, and it's a three hour drive!
Oaklands is a very likeable place, great coffee and food, the staff are very friendly and Eleanor and Lyn who run the restaurant are very friendly. Would recommend Oaklands cafe for Breakfast a coffee or lunch. When you have finished your meal, take the kids to the petting Zoo there or go for a ride in the Shetland ponies. I'm a regular visitor there.
What a gem of a place! Great service and delicious food. And the best kombucha to boot, nicest I've ever had!

So good to get back for a visit or two or at least three before we head back home. Food and service never fail to please, very tasty curry and fish burger today and they made a fantastic job of the good old bread and butter pudding, superb coffee. Would love to have joined them Saturday for Christmas in July, for the Yorkshire Puddings alone. Best wishes to a great team
Oaklands Cafe has the best ginger cake I've ever had, it's called Triple Ginger Cake for a very good reason! And it is perfect with the rhubarb compote. They have the recipe for this awesome cake (and many other yummo sounding meals) in their 'Coastal Seasoning - Recipes from Sapphire Coast Kitchens', published by the Merimbula Special Events Committee, who raise funds for many worthy local charities! What's not to love! This is a friendly and relaxing cafe to enjoy great food and surroundings. The sticky date pudding and iced coffee were also great!
Go nearly every year at this time. A good way to end visit to Pambula. Delicious food with friendly staff.

Great menu, big portions, cute outdoor and indoor tables. While waiting for your food or after eating, you can have a look at the little art gallery, the nursery or the houseware store. Clean bathrooms, exceptionally lovely customer service and a cat that wonders around. Basically the perfect coffee shop.

Lovely place, friendly staff, lots to do in the complex (cafe, brewery, gift shop, nursery). Food wonderful. Even comes with books to read over coffee & a cat to pat. Child & pet friendly.
Love Oaklands - visit every time we're in Pambula. Staff are very accommodating and the food is delicious.
We also love the animal barn and pony rides.
We stopped in for breakfast after a weekend at the coast. We had our little dog with us who was welcomed to sit with us at the outside tables. The food was great, and service outstanding. We found that it was also great value for money. Will certainly recommend and next time we are passing will pop in for another visit!
Oakland’s was the highlight of our visit to the area. As a young family, there was something for each of us to enjoy. The food was incredible, great beer from the brewery next door, lovely gallery. The kids loved the horse rides and barn animals so much we came back and did it again the next day. The staff were absolutely delightful and offered the kids Easter chocolates. Highly recommended place!
Wow what a gem! We stumbled across this wonderful cafe and what a great thing that we did - The coffee was spot on and the Spanish Eggs were sublime we will certainly try and head back here before heading up the coast as it has been a highlight of Pambula - Must visit if in the area 👍😁
Love the place! Be sure to plan a stop here when driving around the area. The ambiance is awesome, the staff are lovely, and the cakes are highly recommended. My friends and I tried three different cakes and they all taste great. My favorite is the carrot cake of the three that we tasted (along with salted caramel cheesecake and chocolate date). Would love to come back just to try their other cakes! 😋
We also loved browsing the shops and gardens. The kids enjoyed the barn and petting the farm animals. Overall, it's a great experience for everyone in our group (6 adults and 3 kids of different ages).
Would definitely come back when we happen to visit the area again.
