Took my son out for his birthday on the 20th. Beautiful food.
Tonight I've treated myself and everything has been delightful. My compliments to the chef (from a trained French chef myself)- flavors, combinations and subtleties are perfect! Mojito is pretty darn good too; the best are in Texas (USA) but don't let that hold you back from enjoying happy, friendly service at Local. A fun place!
I really enjoyed my meal, company, and wine. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and to top it off the weather was good too.

What a little gem! I had the beef cheek which fell apart it was beautiful! Treated ourselves to a few cocktails couldn’t resist they all looked so delicious - which they were! Staff were so friendly and attentive, they knew so many customers by name so must have a lot of regulars which is always a good sign! Definitely will be coming back soon!
We came for the $7 steak night. As it was so cheap we didn’t have huge expectations. We were so surprised at the quality of the food!! The steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. The sides were good and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
I’ve been coming to The Local for 12 months since the new owners took over. They have turned a run down go hum place into something really special. The tapas are to die for, affordable and service is amazing. I often take my staff for lunch as they have an awesome lunch deal with a glass of bubbles, sometimes we stay till happy hour $5 beers . Yay winning ! it has never disappointed us yet . Well done Team Local we love what your doing from one happy Local.
Absolutely love the ambience and food here, I have been here several times and really love the live music and kids eat Free night, just went to my first Trivia Free night and had such a fun night! This is just what Paradise Point needed. 5* from me! :D
Caught up with a mate for lunch on Thursday afternoon.
It was a beautiful day after all the horrible rain we’ve been having, so sat outside.
The venue has indoor and outdoor seating which is protected by the weather but still slows you to have a great view.
Friendly attentive staff with a great share plate menu.
We ordered the Karaage chicken, duck rolls, calamari and pork belly bites to share
The food came out quickly and everything was super tasty and super fresh.
It was surprisingly filling. Fantastic place for a casual drink and nibbles!
Great food and service, very accommodating
Went here for dinner and was a great dining experience from the get go. Sat outside and waitress was prompt , friendly, and had great Interaction. They accommodated my puppy with a Bowl of water and a spot for her to sit without worrying others.
The food was excellent in quality and quantity and came out quite quickly. Overall it was a really good casual night made better by excellent service. Will done again.
The food and atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal! The live music was so nice to listen too and the servers are so kind. The food came out so quickly and they ensured we were happy with our meal. Danielle was my server and she just lights up a room. Her engagement with patrons is so lovely and really made it such a great experience for myself and my boyfriend. We will definitely be back!
Great breakfast & service. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend for breakfast. Next time we will try the lunch.
Great food, great atmosphere and great location... booking a table if you can on a Friday or Saturday night or Sunday afternoon might be a good suggestion... all up well worth 5 stars
Josh and the staff were amazing catering for our son's 18th Birthday. Nothing was a problem and the staff were excellent. Everyone was very impressed with the function room and the food and drinks were spot on. I would highly recommend The Local for any event you may be thinking of having!
I had a great night at the local. The kind man with the long beard and tied up hair had impeccable service, he was kind through the night and listened to exactly what we ordered and when I made a mistake he didn’t mind fixing it at all. He was smiling and looked like he was happy to take my order, i owe my wonderful night celebrating my friends 18th to the man with the amazing ponytail and nails. He is a top 5 man
