Standard Aussie brunch. Ordered the BLT for myself, personally not a big fan of burgers 🍔 but I found it pretty decent. Dined in the outdoor sitting which overlooks the beach 🌊

Nice view. 👍🏻
Coffee is not too bad.
Fish & Chips is good.
I would visit again on a nice sunny day.
Came here for lunch on a coastal outing & enjoyed the quality of food, presentation and fresh flavours. The ginger beer house made drink topped it off nicely!
Love this little local. Beautiful views over the water, lovely coffee and the food is always good. The fireplace ensures the cafe is nice and cozy even on the coldest day in winter.

Such a great location and view out onto the bay. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, the decor is beachy and warm. Extensive all day breakfast and lunch menu, service was quick and the food was delicious.
Outdoor seating available - this place is always busy.
Honestly one of my favourite cafes ever. It’s basically right on the beach with views of the ocean. With option to eat outside or to sit on their sun chairs and have a coffee. It’s just a really peaceful place to be.
Food is amazing. Simple clean brunch food with a large variety of options. Nothing too fancy but it’s just honest food. Always a treat to eat there.
Great location n friendly staff! Always satisfied after visiting the cafe. My kids loves walking at beach after cafe! Would be better if they take bookings as we come from bit far.
We enjoyed the best Spring Rolls today. Very crisp outside filled with whole prawn. The accompanying salad could have been more interesting, perhaps a Thai salad.
A friend of mine moved from the cbd to Parkdale so I headed down with the intention of a beach walk but instead found the beach cafe, and what a find it was! The food was exceptional and the views were stunning. We had two of the lunch specials as well as a breakfast bruschetta to share because everything sounded so delicious we couldn't possible decide on only one dish each. Great summery beverages too. All of a sudden I'm looking forward to this forty minute drive to visit my friend..
We are very frequent visitors to parkdale kiosk and we absolutely love the food but there is a lot of areas that need working on.
The staff often seem like they don't want to be there and we always find we need to grab their attention when we want to order or they forget to come back.
The tables are so close together it feels like you're eating with the people next to you which is my biggest criticism. I often feel quite uncomfortable being so close to other people to the point where I could eat off their plate. Getting up and down from the table is awkward and we find ourselves apologising for knocking people a majority of the time.
The reason why we keep returning is due to the food and views of the bay from the cafe. By far the best breakfast food in bayside, cannot go past their corn fritters and hashbrowns.
A bit pricey we normally spend about $60 for the two of us but the food is worth it
Casual dining with a view of the bay! I love this clean, crowded, bustling space and you can order breakfast until 3pm!
This time I had the sautéed mushrooms with spinach on toast topped with a perfect poached egg and some feta on the side - delicious.
Hubby had the chicken schnitzel and coleslaw sandwich which he described as 'a bit dry'. The toast was a little too thick, which made the eating a scratchy experience!
I would also recommend the calamari which I have had in the past.
Definitely worth a visit!
Such a lovely place, definitely going to pay another visit back!! Sat outside with an amazing view of the beach!! Could literally sit there all day. They even provide blankets too :) even inside is so lovely and very warm and inviting. Food is very yummy and staff are very kind!!!
Who the hell goes to a beach side cafe on a 1° morning? Me! But the place was cosy and had a fire going I was far from the sea breeze. The service was really good. The girl serving me was such a delight. The pancakes were quite average in taste and presentation.
Great food, good service whilst enjoying a view to die for! Great in the warmer days, once you finish dining you can take a stroll on the beach
I would have given this place a 3, but the view takes them up half a point.
The staff are very friendly, the coffee is good but the menu is simple (but has all the brunch favourites). I would recommend this place for a weekend brunch after a walk along the coast with your dog. Great outdoor spaces and cosy indoor.
Don't let the exterior of the building turn you off, its worth a try for a down to earth weekend brunch.
I loved this cafe. Got there at midday and had a lovely table overlooking the beach. It was a bit windy to sit outside as tempting as it looked. Food was yummy. I enjoyed the Asian inspired salad, my mum loved the calamari but the bed of rocket was just that as opposed to the salad advertised. Top marks for the location and ambience. It's pretty noisy inside once it's full but take a jacket and sit outside.
Loved the food service and sea views. Breakfast was excellent- my husband is very picky and he said it was the best one he'd had in a long time. Coffee were excellent
This place is in such a great location, right on the beach, with tables outside with fantastic views.
The food was really good as well. The schnitzel sandwich is the standout, perfect tender chicken with a nice crunchy coleslaw on a roll. The lamb shoulder and corn fritters looked great as well.
Friendly, casual service that gets the job done.
On a beautiful Thursday afternoon a table outside with amazing views was perfect for lunch. I'm happy to say the food was also a winner.
For 2 we had the Greek lamb which was tasty with plenty of tzatziki dip and salad. The calamata olives could've been of the pitted variety as to enjoy the full salad/lamb experience without having to spit out a pip. More pita would've also rounded off the dish. Overall tasty with a few tweaks needed.
We also shared he prawn spring rolls and calamari fritti.
Spring rolls were delicious with a lettuce cup and sweet chilli sauce. The calamari lightly crumbed and seasoned was also tasty sitting atop a bed of rocket and a pesto style aioli. I didn't mind the aioli although my lunch partner commented about what was wrong with 'normal' aioli.
Overall the service was excellent - happy and friendly.
I noticed the steak sandwich go past a few times and looked great so will be heading back to try that one! Pic is of the Greek lamb.
For a nice easy lunch with an amazing view, give this place a go!
I really love this place, only been for breakfast nut been many times. My fav diah is the breakfast bruchette and i love to add some smoked salmon. Yummy coffee and friendly staff. Beautiful bay views. One of our special places.
Always been a family favourite at a young age, it's so relaxing looking out at the water while having coffee with our dog. My favourite breakfast dish is the corn fritters!
Sat having good coffee and delicious breakfast bruschetta while watching dolphins cruise by. Staff are attentive in just the right measure and they always acknowledge us, even if busy with other customers cosy in the winter and a welcome rest spot in summer. One can't have EVERYTHING, but more vegetarian (or better still, vegan) options would be my only request.
Great view, prime location. Coffee is hot and the corn fritters are my favourite dish. We often walk down and read the paper here. Very busy, which is a healthy sign of a cafe.
Beautiful location, on the beach.. Delicious breakfast.. Had two coffees, both consistent.. Well rounded flavour, I would definitely visit more often if it was in my neighbourhood..
We had a great breakfast here - the granola and the spring breakfast with bacon. Great food, relatively healthy, and all round great spot. Highly recommended.
Fast service, friendly staff. Coffee very good to Melbourne standards. Tried the mushrooms on toast and egg bacon roll. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends.
Such a nice place to sit and relax by the beach. Out door seating with a lovely view of the water. The food was tasty and the staff were lovely. We were originally seated inside but the staff were kind enough to keep an eye out for a table outside and when one became available they informed us straight away. I had the granola with grated apple, yoghurt, blueberries and strawberries.
Love this place. Hidden little gem on the beach. So warm and snug inside on a cold day. Love how on a warm day you can sit outside on a deck chair and enjoy a wine and watch the water. Love it
If you like good food and a good view you are in for a treat! I love taking friends here because we can watch the waves from the window and still be snug inside! My mum loved her zucchini fritters, stacked high and mighty. Dad loved his steak sandwich. They could even take some beetroot relish home with them to enjoy!
My faaaaaave place for breaky! Can't fault the amazing views and homey touch to this place. Literally eaten everything on the menu can't fault it! They do always manage to squeeze you in even when they're packed. My only criticism is that staff can be a little distant sometimes you need to really make eye contact to get their attention
Saturday Breakfast. What a lovely morning to catch up with a friend, great food and beautiful views of the bay.
I would love to recommend the Noisette waffles, salted caramel, banana, hazelnuts and ice-cream. Just amazing.
I would also like to say the staff are friendly and accommodating as catching up with a friend takes time and they never once said we had to move on. Thank you to all the staff the food was amazing and I would highly recommend this cafe.
Really lovely place to grab a quick coffee. Staff are fabulous in particular the young red head that looks like Ed sheeran.
I think this cafe is a gem,it has a beautiful location, great staff that are always looking to please without hovering. I love their menu, the only thing is I wish they were open for evening meals especially in summer.

Previously avoided due to underwhelming reviews until this morning, and am glad we finally gave it a go! Beautiful meals and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Cafe bfast's are a daily occurrence for me and although it has only been one experience I'd rate it Parkdale's best. Do it
Service is excellent. Very prompt and always with a smile. The view is spectacular, sitting out on the deck.
The food and coffees come out efficiently, and are both of a high standard.
I highly recommend Parkdale Beach Cafe!
We have been visiting this cafe throughout the school holidays on our visits to the beach, having sit down lunch, takeaway snack or just an ice cream. Every visit has been lovely, the food delicious and the staff always friendly and accommodating. Yesterday, my son cut his foot whilst swimming. I managed to console him with an ice cream at the cafe and the staff kindly watched him and kept him company while I searched the car for a first aid kit. They even helped me with the band aids as I couldn't find any!! We are not locals to the area, but I was overwhelmed with how nice the girls were. ( and the man in the hat). Thanks guys. We will be back.
Ate here for a relaxed Sunday lunch. Very busy, great menu, lovely atmosphere and food. Breakfast menu available until 3. Tried the corn fritters and they were so tasty. Loved them. My friend had the summer breaky and that was a big meal and also delicious. Beautiful location by the beach. Lunch menu a little pricey but food all looked great from what I saw. Will definitely eat here again.
Fantastic. Delish! I've eaten there twice now - breakfast (Smashed Avocado on toast with feta cheese) and lunch (bagels with smoked salmon and toppings) - and I've never been disappointed. The menu is fresh and innovative with fun whimsical twists to some of the more traditional dishes. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Service is efficient.
Can be a little crowded at times - rather small venue - but worth it for the food, a coffee, and a stroll along the beach afterwards.
Brekky to die for, beautifully cooked eggs .... & best coffee and service in the area. Love popping in on the way to work or after a hard night shift at the Fire Station :)
I agree with peaceful. The place is fantastic but the menu doesn't have enough vegetarian, vegan or health conscious items. Cool staff, good location, good coffee I just wish there was something for me to eat other than poached eggs.
