Review The Parkside Hotel - Parkside

The Parkside has been a fave for years. It is still that. Sometimes the food hits the spot, sometimes not so much, but it’s never less than good. Massive and lovely outdoor seating areas with screens and fires, soft booths, high and low tables. Multiple dining areas from outdoor family to formal. Wine list could be better. It we seem to find this a lot!

First time here for a small company Christmas lunch. Attentive service in the dining room, large servings and food was delicious! Afterwards we moved to the outdoor section and it was super easy to order our drinks via the QR code on our table. Looking forward to coming back soon!!

Renovated Fountain Inn, rebadged as The Parkside Hotel. Bit of a limited menu but meals served were of a large size, especially the Chicken Parmi and Snitie.. Inside and outside Dining areas with a smallish Gaming Room that has no Auto Teller.

Great venue, highly recommended. The service is fantastic, we had dinner in the main restaurant and there was an amazing atmosphere and ambience. The food was delicious and came out quite quickly. I had the kangaroo and my wife had the steak. Both were mouthwatering. Parking can be a bit tricky on busier nights.

Love the way they present the meal and the whole atmosphere, also the most important things is scotch fillet didn’t overcook. Don’t forget to try pork belly, that was so tender!!! Only the waitress forgot to ask about the sauce which is come with steak, but they fix it eventually. Good food and good service!

I walked into this fine establishment with high hopes. The aromas were filling my nostrils and the vibes filling my heart. I was gobsmacked however, when I was served my vodka red bull with a… PLASTIC STRAW!!! Now it was to my knowledge they were banned in this fine state of South Australia. I am disgusted. It seems as though this business has no care for wild porpoise life. Imagine how many dolphins have since suffocated due to plastic straws clogging their poor little blowholes. You should be ashamed. Just wanted to say a big thank you for welcoming us with open arms last night at my daughters function. Your service was impeccable, food and drink perfect and especially given the varying dietary requirements, everyone commented how an amazing job you guys did.

Great Friday night catchup with friends after work. Lovely ambience and food. Pan fried Barramundi and Thai Green Curry Chicken
