We really only order a few dishes here and always takeaway. There never seems to be many people in the restaurant when we visit.... so they must do a good takeaway business! We enjoy the Choo Chee chicken, the pad Thai and the fried rice. Nothing else really has stood out for us on the menu but it does have fair prices for the food you get here.
The food is fresh and delicious. Authentic Thai dishes. The restaurant is quite small inside but ample parking right out the front. Well priced and the service is prompt. Food comes out quickly once ordered. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
Just a perfect place to eat authentic thai food!!
Good taste,fresh ingredients,flavourful sauce!!
I had ordered for crispy fish and fried rice which was really tasty!!must try for thai cuisine fanatics!!
My friend took me here with the disclaimer that while the food was good, the service was a bit lacking. It's not that bad though - just perfunctory. I've certainly had worse where asking for table water felt akin to insulting the staff's family. Anyway bring good conversation, your patience and appetite. You'll find the food is worth the wait.
Delicious Authentic Thai. Lovely food & lovely service
Very very reasonable prices!
Setting the bar for Thai restaurants in Adelaide. Absolutely delicious :)
One of the rare places where you can get great Thai food. Friendly staff and food arrived promptly. Value for money and good variety of dishes.
Great Food and Friendly Staff. Pira Thai is unpretentious in its setting, however the food is fresh and delicious.
The best veggie spring rolls I have ever had!
One of the few really good Thai restaurants in Adelaide. Highly recommend the fried barramundi
Excellent Thai food. One of my two favourite Thai restaurants in Adelaide, both so good they're tied at #1 (the other one is Rose Garden on Churchill Road). Both are authentic, and incredibly delicious. Pira Thai has a small dining area, yes, but the food is so good you won't care. Great food, and super friendly staff too. The seafood dumpling starter is to die for, I could drink the sauce it is covered in, you know, if it was socially acceptable. Excellent beef massamum and good pad thai too.
Happy!. Decor 2/10, Staff 8/10, Food 8/10. When we entered tis place, we nearly turned around, but we thought, lets give it a go! The venue & the decor is not what you would expect, but you come here to eat! Right? The food is good & the servings are generous! definitely will return, regardless of the decor!
Great Thai for a very small restaurant. Fabulous Satay, good Pad Thai, Red Curry & Choo Chi Chicken was also good. Can certainly recommend.
Great Beef Massamun. Stopped in for a quick lunch and the place was just about full! That said something to me right there. I had the Beef Massamun lunch special and there was heaps of Beef and the flavour was delicious. Definitely value for money and I'll be stopping in again.
Got take out from here the other night. One of the best massaman curries I've ever had. Pad Thai was very fresh tasting - not gluggy like some other places. Price pretty reasonable too. Highly recommend.
GREAT FOOD. This little place was recommended to me from Thai friends and I`m happy I trust them enough to try it out......
great Thai food
The only place to eat Thai food in Adelaide. So delicious! Great dishes! Would eat here multiple times per week if I could!
Good for cheap lunch specials. Headed over on a Friday afternoon and the place was empty. Service was good and quick and people eventually came in. I had the drunken seafood with rice which was heavy on the chilli but tasty. food was well presented and the pad thai was pretty good as well but on the sweet side. its great if you're on a budget as lunch specials are under $10. Wouldnt recommend it though if you're after dinner as mains are about $20 and I doubt they're worth it.
Little restaurant big flavour. Have done a couple of lunches here - the pad thai is always a winner: flavorful with lots of interesting bits. Can also highly recommend the garlic pork - tender meat with crispy sweet garlic and the masamman is very worth while. Prices are good, wine list is likewise. Can get very busy. If you want to share afew dishes then try to sit at a larger table because the tables for 2 are little tight. Very enjoyable.
Cheap and cheerful. Visited with two girlfriends a couple of weeks ago. Good Massaman beef. Quick service. A good local.
Had the cold sour salad mixed with fried barramundi strip, firey and tangy. as i wanted. pendant chicken was kind of bland, the red curry was above average. must try mussamum curry and pad Thai next time. the first Thai restaurant in Adelaide i dont complain of full of silly sweet knocked up rubbish dishes......
Best Masaman Curry in Adelaide!! Yum.
The Best Authentic Thai restaurant in Adelaide. The Larb Pla fish is the tastiest barramundi dish I have ever had.
The previous reviewer must had a bad fish because we always go there for Larb baramundi and it's always great. That's the only dish we ordered.
Surprising good. I agree with previous comments about this place has great pad thai noodles, on of the best. We had take away from this small Thai restaurant but would definitely go there for dinner
Good thai food. This nondescript thai place makes great thai. Try out the spicy barramundi and the pad thai. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The service is ok. Overall I would go there again and rate the place probably 7.5/10.
This place makes the best Pad Thai on the planet...and I am not just saying it! Very authentic and great prices. It is hard to comment on anything else due to fact I only order 1 dish everytime....pad thai!
