Food was amazing! Got the pork bossam and wagyu sticks, super juicy and flavoursome!
Super impressed by the food here and pricing is quite reasonable. Had the unagi box for $19.80 which also came with miso soup. I did notice that other boxes had a seperate bowl of rice and there could’ve been more unagi in the box but it was quite a lot of food and the flavours were spot on.

I live nearby & I am not sure why I have been here! What a hidden gem. It has a cozy & warm ambience with friendly staff. Each table has a pad attached using which you can order & it will be sent through to the kitchen. I found the system very convenient. Tried their beef bulgogi set & black sesame ice cream. Everything tasted amazing ! And it is value for money. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend 👍
Great casual atmosphere in this cute innocent Japanese restaurant. The portion size and price offers great value for a nice lunch spot
A very nice lunch choice. Yummy! The waygu steak with pumpkin sauce are amazing, recommend! Delicious chicken curry with rice and matcha dessert. The staff are very friendly as well. Will try again in the future.
Iy was our first visit to Kumiho and we loved everything we ordered.
We started our dinner with the drinks and chose mango bubble tea and black sesame latte. Love both drinks!
As for the food, we had assorted tempura, wagyu bulgogi set, pork katsu set and crispy chicken avo rolls. Everything was tasty but my personal favourite had to be the assorted tempura! So crispy and the sauce is delish too.
Staff were so lovely and attentive and the food was great, we’ll definitely be back!
Kumiho has a ipad ordering system which makes the process so much easier since you can take your time ordering and all orders get sent to the kitchen immediately, minimising wait time.
We ordered a umagi set, some sushi which was sold seperate (giving you the option to pair up multiple kinds in one dish) and the chirashi bowl.
All of the food were good but the Chirashi bowl really stood out to me! The sashimi was so fresh, I absolutely loved the mayo they had underneath. Unfortunately they were out of bubble tea, I would've loved to try it but the cocktail was pretty nice too.
We had family lunch here at Kumiho. We have a baby boy who can not seat and eat quietly, but the staffs were very friendly and thoughtful. The atmosphere was clean and food was good too:)!!
The best restaurant in paramatta area for sure.Visited with my friends one day, staffs' service was awesome and the quality ofdishes were remarkable!!Phenomena indeed!!

Kumiho impressed us with their digital menus and modern fusion of Japanese and Korean cuisine.
We dined at lunchtime during the weekend and ordered
🐟 Assorted Nigiri (12.80)
🍗 fried chicken set(15.80)
🍥 creamy pork and udon curry(16.00)
🥤 Bubble tea ($6)
I was curious to try the Creamy Pork and Udon Curry because it's served with a swirl of cream on top which is stirred into the curry, by the diner, before eating.
This hearty bowl surpassed my expectations with pork so tender that it melts in your mouth, and lots of slurpy udon noodles to soak up the creamy curry sauce.
The Fried Chicken Set has a little bit of everything. Tender juicy chicken wrapped in golden crumbs, a kewpie dipping sauce, assortment of salads, rice and a small bowl of warm miso soup.
We sipped on strawberry and matcha bubble teas, these are very sweet but also very yummy.
Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. We found paid parking nearby in the Justice Precinct Carpark ($3 per hour)
We experienced gracious service and thank Kumiho Restaurant for inviting us to sample the menu.
not hard to notice traces of Korean and Chinese influences on the menu. Indeed the concept of cross-cultural menu. injects fresh ideas into the norm and jazzes things up a bit. Korean bulgogi has a strong presence throughout the menu and. Wagyu Bulgogi Hot Pot ($17) was. exactly what we were in the mood for.
Must try the pork katsu set and sashimi. Won't be disappointed. Can get a bit busy on weekday lunches so be patient it's worth it. In terms price can be a bit on the more pricier end for weekday lunches but sometimes you just have to live a bit. Sapporo and asahi on tap!

Had the chance to try this restaurant through a Groupon promo.
Loved the wagyu beef salad. The meat was so tender and the mushrooms grilled just right.
They could’ve improved on the sashimi though. Was expecting the tuna sashimi to ‘melt in your mouth’, but I think it’s not as fresh as it’s supposed to be?
But overall, it was a good experience with Kumiho, loved the staff, and loved the food.
Eating casually in Kumiho reminds me what makes Japanese cuisine great, although it was good I believe they still can improve. The place was busy, it was packed. There were a lot of family because of Australia Day during that time, although it was busy the food came out consistently and quickly.
I've noticed that the staff never smiles as if they don't like to service customers. (To be continued)
Nice addition Japanese food in Parramatta. Although not really authentic but still taste good. I think it is managed by Korean so best is to order stuff like barbecue/grill. We didn’t like the sushi roll much as the sushi rice was sour (like korean sushi). Japanese sushi rice usually more balanced with a bit sweet and sour. The seafood hotpot was really the highlight of the dish. My husband also like the soft shell crab hand roll.
Dine here on the weekday, restaurant was very quiet. Food was excellent, staff were very friendly and food and drinks came very quick. They also have promotion as well, if you come with 2adults and 1child 20% off total bill only on Saturday. Also, they're kid friendly.
I had a Delicious lunch with my partner. The food was fresh and high quality and the staff were friendly and happy.
We will definitely return.
Great restaurant with excellent customer service and lovely ambience in the restaurant. A little pricey for a local restaurant however, the food is delicious. Had the sukiyaki, loved the seared tuna sushi, the gyoza was great and generous size (it was cooked differently and not as pan fried as I am used to which I love), matcha panacotta was delicious to finish off the meal. I would definitely come back to enjoy the other dishes on the menu.
KUMIHO
If you enjoy Japanese food then this place is worth a try. The place is small but once you enter you will be welcomed by friendly staff. I recommend to make a booking prior coming in.
I came to try the 7 course cudo deal and it was definately worth it. The food quality was delicious and the service was really quick. Each dish was well presented and the wagyu tasted really good.
The dessert was a green tea or black sesame pudding which was nice and light to finish off the courses with as it wasn't too sweet and heavy.
Overall, I was definately satisfied and would come back.
We bought a cudo voucher and were in absolute AWE of how much food came out, the quality was amazing. Steamed egg cups were a surprising but tasty started, as well as the Wagyu buns (in bao type bread). The sashimi, nigiri and fresh rolled sushi were of high quality and flavour and the Wagyu main was a stand out. Even the panna cotta desserts were tasty! Without the voucher I believe the prices would definitely be on the more expensive side but service was impeccable and will definitely be visiting this new local gem again.
One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Parramatta. Seafood is fresh and the meal's portion is generous. The stuffbis also very efficient and friendly. The truffle king fish entree was excellent. It really has a wow factor. We will definitely visit this place often.
Had a work lunch here and the food came out really quickly which was much appreciated. The ordering system was fun and easy to use, it would have been great to have a few more screens to order on at our table but otherwise, colleagues all said the food was delicious as was my dish, recommend giving this one a try, a good mix of Japanese and Korean menu
Fusion-HA!
Like Gogeta or Vegeto; This union of cuisine is powerful. The team at Kumiho have combined the best of all their muses in a variety of delicious dishes served by friendly staff.
The curries are delicious and the fish is fresh. I highly recommend the soft-shell crab as well as the spicy chicken.
I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu.
Not your average Japanese choice. The restaurant had some really good choices of entrees and mains. Loved the kingfish dish with the truffle mayo.
I love eating at their sister restaurant Hotaru. The sushi here taste exactly the same, which is great when I don’t want to drive to the city.
It is more pricey here, & it has gone up again after lockdown. But every dish was 5/5. My highlights were the crumbled prawn roll, matcha ice cream shake & seared scallop nigiri.
Was very quiet for a sunday lunch. Overall enjoyed it, got the cutlet curry which reminded me of japan and tasted authentic. Cutlet was cooked perfectly, so crispy and juicy. Curry was a bit too salty, and needed more rice but overall enjoyed it.
Very decent place. We ordered truffle mayo kingfish and Sashimi bowl and Wagyu bulgogi set.
The kingfish was pretty fresh and the fish was quite nice and lived up to expectations. Except we felt like it was overpriced and not worth $20 for such a small bowl.
The Sashimi bowl set- bulgogi had great flavour but was a bit dry. The tuna and salmon Sashimi were both not too fresh but the kingfish was recently fresh. The rice was really good. The kimchi was very below average compared to other Korean places. We mixed in the Japanese seaweed salad with the small salad on the side and it was really good.
Overall enjoyed the meal heaps but would have preferred fresher fish and more tender beef.
