A friend recommended dish #100 Beef rice noodles (with sauce) aka Hor Fan in Cantonese. So delicious, even takeaway (after 45min after it was cooked). The taste of wok hei, tenderness of the beef is what makes the dish stand out. It's cash only with a 1.5% surcharge for any card payment even EFTPOS - which should be free. Took one star off for this practice.
I went at around 4:30pm and it was fairly quiet so the food came out fast about 10 minutes
Food is amazing 👌🏼great authentic Vietnamese. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food. The Only reason why I didn't give it 5stars is because the dining area is a bit out dated and small.
My husband and I are regulars here. This restaurant provides the most authentic Vietnamese food in Parra, and that’s coming from a Vietnamese person. My go to dishes are Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Canh Chua and my hubby loves the crispy skin chicken egg noodle soup and the pork chop with rice. Good local with a very casual setting.
Food
Ordered the special Pho and have to say it was pretty tasty. Generous portions of fillings in the pho (rare beef, brisket, beef balls, tendon and tripe) and a tasty broth. Friend ordered something not on the menu (stir fried rice noodles with prawn and egg sauce), which was also very tasty.
For entrée we ordered the spring rolls and san choy bao (lettuce cups with mince filling) and both were very flavourful. Liked the spring rolls with the lettuce and mint to wrap them in.
Service
Very fast and friendly waitstaff here.
This is the kind of Chinese restaurant that I remember from my childhood. They have the classic sweet and sour pork and Mongolian beef, as well as perfectly cooked crispy chicken and excellent pho beef soup. They make the entrees fresh and I love the fried spring roll and the steamed dim sum. Tea is given to each table and the service is so quick. Prices are a little bit expensive, given the style and decor of the place. It's not fancy but the food is great.
Great tasting cheap Asian food. Had the stir fried hor fun (flat noodles), pork leg noodles and stewed beef brisket with rice. The hor fun had a strong, authentic wok fried taste (could have used more ingredients but worth it for the price). The beef was tender and complemented well with onion shavings. Will be back again!
