Review Ray & Lou's Steak & Seafood Restaurant - Parramatta

We opted for the famous Grilled Giant King Prawn Platter - one with a salad and another with chips. The prawns were beautifully cooked in a creamy garlic lemon sauce and it elevated the taste of the dish infinitely. We also went for the salt and pepper prawns for starters and it was equally delicious. I highly recommend 317 if you want to feast on seafood. I haven’t tried the other chicken or pasta dishes, but I can definitely vouch for the seafood fare here.

Delicious risotto and gnocchi. The risotto was properly done, many places get it wrong. The cocktails were better than some pubs out there. The service and staff were great! Definitely coming back here to dine, thanks for the hospitality.

Gluten free restaurant with the Italian twist. The food is ok and highly recommend the chilli pawn pizza as it the highlight of the night. The barramundi and chicken parma are ok. Would like a bigger serving or bigger flavours as it was a bit lacking. The staff here are great. Can't thank them enough to attending our needs and making the night that much better

My favourite restaurant in Parramatta. The gnocchi was so soft, freshly made and the sauce was divine. Accompanied with a nice Pinot Grigio and some delicious Sky High cocktails, we had a fantastic time. Great service from Gerard and Christine, very attentive and friendly. If you’re after beautiful quality pastas, gnocchi, pizzas then you have to try 317. We will definitely be back.. the lamb shanks looked great, I need to try them next!

It’s our ‘special occasion’ restaurant. The food is always great. My absolute favourite is Creamy Prawns. But this time the show stopper were the cocktails, Prajwal’s special. He called it Red Devil and Quick Smile.

Great place to be, we went to celebrate a friend's birthday and the waiter and waitresses were amazing. Would definitely recommend to come here again!

The gnocci and prawn pasta were very delicious. Nice atmosphere and the young male waiter that attended us was very friendly.

This was my first experience here and it was a fantastic one. The risotto (pesto) is really amazing, the creamy prawns with bread and the garlic bread were out of this world. The lamb shanks too were really amazing. This amazing food followed by the amazing ambience was the highlight of the day. It's an amazing place to have a meal with family, friends or even a date with that someone special. If you love Italian cuisine Restaurant 317 is definitely worth the try.

Great place for drinks and a decent meal. We ordered the hummus and bread (the hummus was amazing). Along with the tomato and mushroom truffle pizza and fish. The pizza was delicious and vegan.

Less than ordinary - waste of money quite frankly. I had ordered a bottle of sparking mineral water. Bottle came opened but was filled with tap water. When I raised it with what appeared to be the owner they grabbed the bottle, scurried behind the bar and filled it with carbonated water from bar-tap. Jahash!

Thumbs down..... Very nice service, but seriously overpriced. Pizza was oily and soggy in the middle and the salt and pepper squid was sparse for the price tag. Wine was overpriced. Don't bother.

Great food but the service could've been better.

Nice. I have visited here on three occasions and had food delivered once. <br/>The food is always well presented and tasty. The service is spot on.<br/>Inside or outside seating. Everything was good on each occasion. Pricing is very reasonable. No complaints. Recommended.

I can't decide what's worse, the service or the food. I ordered a Mexicana pizza. The base was unevenly cooked hard and dry around the outside but soft in the middle and I suspect it was pre made. The oil slick on top of the pizza was reminiscent of the Exxon Valdez.<br/>I’ve had frozen pizzas from the supermarket that I’ve enjoyed more than this and they cost a lot less than $20.90.<br/>The olives on the supremo pizza were unpitted and one of my dining companions broke a tooth after biting into an olive. <br/><br/>I have to agree with the previous comment regarding the staff, who appeared to be poorly trained, and uninterested bordering on apathy.<br/>Another member of our party ordered the lemon garlic potato. Concerned that the dish contained no animal or dairy product, they asked how the potatoes were prepared. The waitress advised that they were cooked in vegetable oil with lemon & garlic, however the potatoes arrived smothered in lemon garlic aioli. The menu notes that the fries are served with lemon garlic aioli however there is no mention of aioli on the potatoes. The waitress became argumentative, insisting that we had got what we ordered, before offering us plain potato and eventually removing the dish from the table.<br/>There was no apology or empathy during this exchange.<br/>My recommendation: Staying home and cooking potato gems and frozen pizza from the supermarket would taste better, require about the same amount of effort, cost a lot less and at least you’d get what you ordered without breaking a tooth.

We where served by two young waitresses who where nice but poorly trained and had no supervision, it would appear the owner or manager sat inside talking to her girl friends while the customers where left unattended while the two girls stood chatting about shoes etc, water and wine bought to the table left for us to poor and open ourselves. We had the New York steak which was tough. <br/>Very disappointed

Lovely customer service and cheap food!. I have been to this place a few times and the food was well cooked and full of flavor. The portions were very generous and worth the money you pay. The prices are also fairly cheap, the outside area isn't too big which is great because it doesn't get over crowded - you don't have to wait in long lines and you are served pretty quick. I recommend this restaurant!
