The food tasted great and great portion size! The chilli chicken Don had perfectly cooked chicken thigh, not dry at all!
Chicken katsu main was super crunchy and moist!
Sashimi tasted super fresh and tender to eat
My only gripe was the manager negative reaction to her staff allowing us to move tables, in order for social distancing.
I've tried most of the dishes on the menu, and I can confidently say Ginza Izakaya makes heavenly Japanese food. You certainly get a strong vibe that the chef cares about the dishes he sends out to the tables. Parramatta is lucky to have this restaurant and I highly recommend this joint if you like Japanese cuisine. I give this place 4 bears.
I am a regular customer this sushi place now and I can see that the chef(or chefs) has tried to change and develop menu and I can see differences compared to the past. Its plating is beautiful and there are a couple of fusion options too. Above all, the staffs are so lovely and friendly.
Beautiful waterfront views and welcoming atmosphere + very friendly staff. Food is presented exquisitely and tastes as good as it looks!! Cannot praise enough. A+++ will be back and recommending to family &friends.
Visited around 8pm for a later dinner. Wasn't many people dining so service was very quick. There is both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. The wagyu sushi was so good! Will go back again in future just to order this again! Moderately priced but the quality is very good for all dishes ordered.
We stumbled at this place because the Holy Basil adjacent to it was packed and we're so happy we ate at Ginza Izakaya Parramatta instead. It is a humble and cosy establishment smelling of the finest street food aroma of Japan.
I like how we can order at our table using a mobile app and the billing was quick and convenient.
Our favourite were the Beef Tataki and the Wagyu Beef Rolls. They were certainly something to write home about.
No desserts though which was okay for the savoury restaurant that it is.
On the downside, it was a very cold night with chilling breeze. I just didn't like how the food delivery workers kept opening and closing the door and taking up and cramming space in the restaurant. Surely, this can be managed better.
Yummy food and good portion. I hope they did vegetarian Ramen too. Will definitely go back for teriyaki tofu.
3 of us went there for lunch and we had ordered Fried veg gyoza, Agedashi tofu, Only green seaweed and Crispy lotus root as entree. Fried veg gyoza had very little filling and was a bit oily and tasted average. But the other 3 entrees were very good and made it up for the average gyozas.
For mains, we took Plain Ramen and Veg Poke bowl. Veg Poke bowl was very colourful and tasted equally good. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Always great food and service. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Sydney.
Delicious food. Big servings. Freezing though at night when all the sliding doors are open and no heating anywhere in the restaurant.
