Review Soul Burger - Parramatta - Parramatta

Rohit Hari
One of the best vegan burger places around Parramatta! They have loads of vegan options on their menu and the place ticks all the boxes; Taste - Fresh and delicious! Waiting time - Quite reasonable, given the quality of food (mine was around 8 mins) Customer Service - Spot on! Definitely worth checking out and definitely worth coming back!

I find myself returning to soul burger again and again due to the variety of options and delicious food. At this point Ive tried almost every burger and am yet to be disappointed. My personal favourites are the pulled pork and southern fried chicken. Soul burger is a must for all vegans and vegetarians and also a good place to take your non-vegetarian friends! The Parramatta soul burger has lovely staff, quick service and a good location (with great tunes). I'm very grateful they've opened up nearby!

Have been at the Parramatta store twice great variety. 1st time I had the Stacked Breakkie Burger on a Wholewheat Bun. It was really fresh and tasted amazing. 2nd time I had the Portobello Mushroom burger with Rocket lettuce, tomato, onion, plant-based feta, portobello mushroom, roasted pepper, basil pesto and herbed mayo on a Wholewheat Bun also tasted amazing . Seetzip and his off sider were guys very helpful and friendly and nothing was a problem for them with all our questions. Also really good Oat cappachino. Highly recommend for Vegan's and non Vegans.

What a great vegan burger joint! I love that they have now included different "beef" patty options too. We got a few things to try and were very pleased with our experience. I highly recommend getting their chicken burger and Sydney sider with impossible meat. The sides were alright but I'd highly recommend coming for the burgers. Everything was abit on the oily side so this is definitely something you'd have as a treat! In terms of service, they were pretty understaffed and had forgotten a few orders while we were there. I'd recommend coming during non-peak hours to be safe.

Great burgers and service, love the fries as well. The southern fried chicken burger was excellent

The southern fried chicken burger had me in tears!!! It was SO good and I’ve had a lot of plant based / vegetarian burgers in my life. Plus the chips were the perfect amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Thank you :’)

Great burgers and quick service. The staff is polite and friendly. I usually go with a big gang of friends and they all order a bunch of stuff and we always get it in time even if it's busy. The food is Delicious!! Sooo tasty and filling. It's addictive. Obsessed with this place. Irrespective of whether you're vegan or not, if you like good healthy tasty burgers this is the place to be! Always have a 10/10 experience here in every regard.

I went in the evening on a Saturday, and it was not too busy. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful, they brought a table inside for us because it was cold outside. The food came out within 10 minutes and it was so fresh! Would absolutely go back, I love Soul Burger but this location is my favourite.

Cheese please: 2/5<br/>Vegan Beef patty was way tooo salty. Bread was stale. Would have liked more cheese sauce. Fast food prep though.<br/><br/>It really could have been better.

My partner and I had to try these burgers after hearing rave reviews from friends back in Melbourne.<br/><br/>The beef patty was super salty, otherwise bland. The toppings were forgettable along with the buns.<br/><br/>Chips were great which is why they have gotten 3 stars, but if this is the best vegan burger in Sydney I feel bad for Sydneysiders.

I’ve been coming here on and off over the last year with mixed opinions. the last two occasions especially have begun to show that the quality is starting to drop.<br/><br/>Staff and setting are great, however the quality going into the taste and offering of the food is going down imo. I ordered the Southern Fried ‘Chicken’ burger and a large serving of sweet potato fries.<br/><br/>The burger was very sparse on sauce - which has been the case on the last two occasions- - and it seems that my ‘large’ chips are missing half a bag!! Also no or little salt on my chippies :(<br/><br/>A little disappointed, as this store was amazing as recently as 8months ago! I would personally goto another Soul Burger store now or even try Lord of the Fries in the area.

👍🏼-I’m obsessed! This place is heaven on earth for vegans who like to have a cheeky cheat meal. I’ve tried almost every menu item, and I can safely say I haven’t hated a single item! My favourites that I continuously order are the ‘cheese please’ , ‘bbq bacon’ and the soul b fries. Their mock meats are to die for, never fails to impress me. I’m also in love with their coconut milkshakes. I don’t order them often but when I do; boy are they tasty! The burgers are just like the real deal, if not better. There have been odd occasions when the food is not up to par, but nothing too serious as it would be nit picking. Will always support plant based joints that stand for helping the planet and our animals! Have always been treated well by Kuz (manager of branding and communications at soul b)! <br/><br/>👍🏼- I would hate to be THAT customer but i am only being honest. The only downfall would be staff members whom treat customers poorly or are simply just cold and unhelpful, doesn’t hurt to smile! If you mess up my order; it wouldn’t make sense to give strange looks make me feel as though I’m in the wrong. In saying that, there are some staff whom are friendly!!!. Won’t stop me from coming back though, food is way too good! <br/><br/>Food: 5/5<br/>Presentation: 5/5<br/>Service: 2/5<br/>Location: 4/5

Great little place with super tasty vegan burgers!!! Fast & friendly service. The only let down were the fries, they could’ve been better but other than a great experience

Staff are super friendly and the place is so well done!! Free wifi too! Prices at Soul Burger are also very reasonable :) <br/>Burgers, fries and shakes were all delicious!! We got the choc banana milk shake which I think was a little sweet but other than that, perfect. The ‘bacon’ here is ridiculous, it tastes exactly like the real thing, I can’t believe it.. <br/>Definitely drop by here if you need your burger fix! So many delicious options!

Expensive burger that has no sides dish included in the price. The burger taste jucy and delicious. I wouldn't say it high class or worth the price.

Had an excellent experience here tonight. The Pulled Pork Burger was incredible, the apple slaw gives it a crunch and the bbq jackfruit is so tasty + the buns are light & fluffy. Also had the Soul B fries, cheese sauce on point and the bacon bits were scarily good, my carnivorous boyfriend was very impressed. All the food came out super quick and the staff were absolutely lovely. After previous experiences at the other stores, the milkshakes have been watery and haven’t had much flavour, I let the staff know and she made me the BEST milkshake of my life. <br/>I use the app to order, it’s always efficient and I am waiting & hoping for the day I can get one of the Hardcor Herbivore promo shirts 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Highly recommended this place. Here on a Saturday afternoon and was blown away by this beautiful Cheese Please burger! Wonderful attempt of a vegan cheeseburger with a better bite! Smokey beetroot patty with a slice of cheese, cheese sauce and more. This dish was a classic transition of the classic American burger with fries & a shake. The fact that it was vegan did not bother me at all, would prefer this rather than a meaty one. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and kind catering to our requests and the biggest thing for me was the cleanliness of the kitchen was very refreshing to see. Will return

Soul b fries are DELICIOUS and a must try. The bacon bits on top were very tasty and kept you coming back for more. I only tried the fries on this occasion and will have to return soon for a burger.

I went with a friend to Soul Burger for the experience of trying a novel burger. Both of us were amazed at the taste of the mouth-watering burgers and crunchy fries. On top of that my friend accidentally left his parking ticket at the restaurant, and after wandering around Parramatta for a few hours, returned to find one of the waitresses had kindly held onto his ticket for him. Great food and a great experience.

Having tried both the Randwick shop and this one, I’m surprised to say that Parramatta store does their burgers better! <br/>The beef is still salty, but the burger is more intact, less greasy and more satisfying overall. <br/>Try other “meats” if you want something less salty, the fish is quite good too.

While eating fish burger here, I didn't realize it's not actually a fish but plant based meat unless I read their menu more clearly😔. It's a good substitute for Vegetarians! My friend tried chicken burger which was good as well.<br/>Though it's not as greasy as a normal junk burger, so would say if you're really really craving for junk don't eat this. Also the burger was quite small for that price. Their herbs chips were ok. I liked their organic fruit beer, different from Bundaberg.<br/>They also didn't have their alcohol license when we visited this place which they didn't mention anywhere 🙄

Really good if you like a bootload of sauce on some expensive bread. Otherwise it had some good fresh salads, so that was nice. Fake bacon was forgettable, I recommend skipping it.<br/><br/>Shakes are good, not for 7 dollars though.

Tried the soul burger food during my lunch break. I was quite excited to try vegetarian food, and I thought this burger was not too bad. Given that there is no meat, it actually had the texture similar to beef, although I found it was too seasoned/salted for my taste. The coconut milk shake was nothing too special, but the overall meal was filling. I do think I want to try other menu items later.

My favourite vegetarian restaurant in Parramatta! ALL their burgers are delicious and the staff are always so welcoming. Even my non-vegetarian friends were impressed by the quality and presentation of their dishes.

⭕️ Great sweet potato chips <br/>⭕️ Very Filling <br/>⭕️ All vegan <br/><br/>❌ As a meat lover, I was generally dissatisfied with the imitation meats, esp the pulled pork as it was too jackfruity and stringy. <br/>❌ Also, the stringy potato fries were boring, bland and over-fried. <br/>❌Hella pricey for a student. No combo meals? lol won't be coming here again. <br/><br/>Ordered: <br/>>Pulled pork burger (jackfruit+BBQ sauce... urgh) ($14)<br/>>The American badass (disgraceful, expensive excuse of a 'badass' burger lol) ($16)<br/>>Large kumara fries (sweet potato) ($6) <br/>>Soul B fries ($8) ... um yeah prefer mcD fries all the way

I actually really enjoyed all of the vegan, plant based options here. I took a bunch of friends from work, and we all had overly positive reviews. The bun was probably the least liked component, possibly because it didn't have the soft and buttery nature we are more accustomed to. I loved my bbq jackfruit (pulled pork) burger, as did I enjoy the cheeseburger and fried chicken. The spices in the beef (plant based) patty was delicious. I liked that the fillings were substantial, and generally the service was very good. it did take some time for our milkshake to reach us - but damn was that coconut and chocolate milkshake absolutely delicious. The burgers are filling, affordable and the different flavours available are so wonderful.

I've been invited here and also have come here a couple of times myself. While the food has been really tasty I find the service very slow even when there is no one else in the restaurant. <br/><br/>I love their sweet potato fries and coconut shakes. They are delish!!!!

I was sadly disappointed with my experience at soul burger Parramatta,<br/>We were one of the first to order then there was an influx of hungry customers & some how we were the last to receive our meals. <br/>We were given the wrong burger twice, then we waited for mine which turned up with no sauce. (Soul B special) When the waitress was advised of this she gave me a blank stare & offered to put the sauce on the side for me...<br/>Not what you expect when you spend $22 on a burger.<br/>The chips lacked flavor (red & green) <br/>We also found the buns to feel stale & the burgers dry.<br/>However to be fair we did not realize that this was a plant based burger place. <br/>

Finally tried the pulled pork and fried chicken burgers because this has been on my list for so long! This all vegan burger shop creates some amazing burgers and shakes, seriously. The fried chicken burger was very close to the real thing and I would highly recommend. Pulled pork was a little different to what I expected. Apart from visually being similar, there was not much "meatiness" to it, but I suppose that's normal and I'm not quite what I was expecting. I felt it didn't have much flavour, but perhaps this was in comparison to the chicken.<br/><br/>Definitely going back. Would get the classic cheese burger again, which I've tried at another store, or maybe the el capitan! Was actually keen to try the battered fish but unfortunately it was not available. 🙁 Will have to go back to try that too, so hopefully it's back soon!<br/><br/>Went for their Soul B fries this time because it came with a cheese sauce and it was delish. Must try! Along with their vanilla coconut shake which is always so good!! It just tastes so much better than the usual milkshake. 😁

Got to try this courtesy of an invite. <br/>The food was pretty good and I must say that this is definitely a treat for all vegans and vegetarians alike. <br/>The burgers are a considerable size so were quite filling. They can be a bit tricky to eat as some are stacked high. <br/>Service was okay but when we first arrived, the girl at the counter was quite rude which was a turn off. <br/>Milkshakes were okay although the coconut milk was just a bit too overpowering that it lost its flavour. I think they would have been better off using almond milk. <br/>All in all, experience was okay and would recommend it to non meat eaters. <br/>Located on the ever busy Church St. this is something to try at least once.

This place really took me by surprise! In no way was I expecting to really enjoy a plant based burger but I was proved wrong! A trendy little venue in the bustling Main Street of Parra, and even on a Monday night it was packed!<br/>Had the snack pack which came loaded in sauce, with delish fries and a substitute sort of meat which was a mind bender because it tasted like meat with a slightly different texture. <br/>Next up was the soul b special which was loaded with 2 plant based beef patties, veggie slaw, onion rings, caremelised onions, cheese, cheese sauce and soul b sauce. <br/>My friend has the crumbed mushroom burger with lettuce, tomato, roasted peppers, pesto and aioli. Super tasty!<br/>Friendly service and def a good option for your meat free Monday or if you're veggo!

It is so pleasing to see plant based and ethically made food being spread throughout western sydney! Staff at Soul Burgers newest outlet in parramatta are very helpful and attentive and food is served with little wait. The pricing however is very pricy, burgers average at $16, chips come at an additional cost and the shakes are around $7!! A meal deal or even student discounts should be applied.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
With wood panelling and the ubiquitous Edison light bulbs sitting in steampunk-style fittings, Soul Burger has all the trappings of a regular hipster burger joint. The well-laid out menu presenting twelve different burgers is the first inkling you’ll get that they’re doing something different.Yes, everything on this menu here is completely meat free! While the lack of external vegan signposting has given some Parramatta diners consternation, staff tell me most visitors are happy to chow down on a fully vegan burger. Making two different selections from the plant-based burger range, we get settled on an outdoor table. Church Street provides some great people-watching fodder as we wait for our burgers. First to arrive is the Southern Fried Chicken ($15). Speared with a knife for easy sharing, this burger certainly looks the part. It’s plump crumbed plant-based chicken patty is...

Holy helllll - tasty burgers and it's freaking VEGAN! <br/><br/>As someone that eats meat, I was blown away by my meal here. I had the 'American Badass' burger. It came with onion rings, hash brown, onion, mustard and a plant-based "beef" patty. It tastes EXACTLY like an actual beef patty - you wouldn't even know unless someone told you!<br/><br/>My boss also let me try her strawberry coconut milkshake and that was amazing. It was sweet with a perfect strawberry and coconut balanced flavour!<br/><br/>I also had their Herb chips, which came with aioli sauce. Tastes quite similar to Grill'd but tastes better in my opinion. Crispy, fresh and cooked to perfection. My clogged up heart was so happy.<br/><br/>Soul Burger puts the 'soul' in burgers. A fantastic place for vegans, vegetarians and for people wanting to cut back on meat from their diets. No need to travel all the way to Newtown for your vegan burger fix anymore. Soul Burger Parramatta is where it's at!<br/>

Loved it here! delicious vegan food, super friendly staff, new and clean facilities. I had the 'chilli beef burger' on a gluten free bun and Sweet Potato fries. Sooo good! Will definitely be back :)
