Review Khatoon Cuisine - Parramatta

Friendly staff with very delicious Persian meal. Portion is quite big and more than enough for one person. Location is great as well Only issue is that they don’t have all the meals in the menu. Rather than that 5/5

The food is wonderful a traditional menu with a modern theme. The theme is a little off track of the persian eoots with a moderm day paris theme although with this the restaurant feels warm and inviting. The staff are polite and courteous to their customers. It is right across the road from the new Meriton building thus there is a lot of foot traffic around but it is qhiet and very really relaxing

I live around there and lazy to cook. I bet this restaurant is one of the best Iranian restaurants in Sydney.

Honestly, don't waste your time here. We received terrible customer service. We waited a long time to be served, didn't get a menu until we asked, forgot certain parts of our order. Treated terribly. Don't bother.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
New to Church Street - or Eat Street as it is known to Parramatta locals - is Khatoon Cuisine. Along with its neighbour, Itihaas Indian Restaurant, Khatoon Cuisine stands out amongst the chains as one of the few independent businesses on the rapidly changing dining strip. The interior is opulent with some of the biggest, heaviest chairs I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. It’s decorated with an odd collection of global influences, running from Big Ben in the United Kingdom, to scenes of New York and New Orleans. Iconic Hollywood figures like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn sit alongside log cabin art and an ornate wooden liquor cabinet. We’re here with Taste Food Tours on the Taste of Australia Tour ($145/person) to eat jelly. Australian kids grew up eating Aeroplane Jelly, so this dessert has a bit of nostalgic charm. Called a 3D Flower Jelly ($7) it’s certainly an eye-catching dome of multi-coloured jelly that looks like...

Khatoon sounds like a Thai restaurant but it's not. It's actually a Persian restaurant located on Church St Parramatta. Matt is incredibly experimental with food and flavours where as I like to stick to more familiar cuisines. Khatoon is one of the stops as part of the Taste Food Tours. Before Khatoon, I had experienced a lovely rivercat boat ride along with some treats on the way. This is part 5 of my experience.
