Review Al Wadi Charcoal Chicken - Parramatta

Boss was extremely rude and disrespectful when I came in to buy using scoopon voucher following stated instructions . Did not honour the coupon and I paid in full because I did not want the food go waste. Will never buy from this place ever again...

It's okay to grab a quick lunch but a bit expensive for what it is.

Coming from Harris Park one day and with no food in the fridge, we thought of giving this a go. They also had a sweet deal going on half a chicken, chips and drink. The chicken was barely cooked as it didnt have the charcoal taste and worst of all the center was raw. The only thing worth having was the chips.

Terrible service, was yeld out when i asked how long my food will take
Chicken tasted like rubber & salads were very soggy & had no taste at all!!

Extremely disappointing. Received a pasta salad, not tabouli, no Lebanese bread was included. Deal was supposed to include two falafel, I got 1. They were shut early when i tried to go. The kofta was nice, but chicken and lamb was a little dry. However the staff was very helpful.

Hopelessly rude and pathetic service. We bought a groupon roughly a a month before we made a booking to go into the restaurant - and they rudely told us they're simply not doing it anymore, and while I was telling them they should honour (in a perfectly normal tone, mind you) the Groupon as the deadline wasn't until December and we had paid for it already, they simply hung up.

If you wanted to cancel the Groupon offers people paid for because YOU as a business had issues, it's also your responsibility to have customers refunded, not pin it on the customers and then hang up on us while we're trying to get our heads around what happened. Zero etiquette.

If the restaurant owners wish to explain themselves to me, feel free to do so in the open in the comments, but until then, my opinion that your customer representatives are completely untrained and hopelessly rude is remaining on this site for all to see.

Amazing food and service. I was in Harris Park and noticed Al Wadi so i went in with some friends to get some lunch. I have to say that the food is amazing and so was the service. The food was made fresh and the food is not overpriced which is a plus.
I would recommend Al-Wadi. A+++

Great Food...Friendly Service. Have had lunch at this place a few times, always good quality. The chicken is delicious, garlic sauce is great and the salads very nice and fresh. The shop appears and eating area appears well maintained and staff friendly. Highly recommended.

Ummm.... Despite a seemingly big area there isnt much seating in there or outside
ITs the only lebanese chicken in the area but it doesnt rate as well as other places like El jannah or even Big johns in Merrylands

The food took a little while to come out and i thought half a chicken eat in at $17 was expensive despite have the sides/bread/chips

The bread and chicken were a little dry but the garlic dip was nice

Parking can be a issue around there also

Not for me, prefer other places

Just had a great feed at this place. The chicken was tender and juicy, unlike many other middle eastern charcoal chicken shops. The tabouli and garlic sauce was delicious too. The place is VERY clean and the owner is really friendly too. Highky recommend this place. The best middle eastern charcoal chicken by far!!

Good Lebo food. Nice fresh taboulli jam packed with parsley (some places pass off a mixed salad as taboulli sometimes). The babaganoush is great too. The mixed plate is lots of food. The owner/manager is super friendly too.

Awesome. The owner is super friendly, always up for a chat. The food is fantastic with much larger portions than the competing businesses in Granville (Hot chips in all combos). I strongly recommend it!

Harris park is kind of an odd area to have it in however.

Not sure where the other reviewer went, but it definitely wasn't same Al-Wadi I went to.

Service and Pricing Issues. For a Lebanese charcoal chicken business, this place is way behind the others In quality of food, quality of service and overpriced. I know that its simply a takeaway business but the service staff girl was rude and not willing to compromise on listed menu packs. Food took too long to be served and Lahma was full of fatty pieces which made eating the lahma roll very unpleasant.

I've been to Al-Wadi twice and today was the last time. Both experiences were terrible. Its a shame for a nicely fitted shop on corner block in a prime location.
