Review Mad Mex - Parramatta

Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill is a legendary Mexican spot that I've been going too forever. It's been there pre lockdown, during lockdown and is surviving the light rail construction. They do a top job, have amazing foods and their staff are wonderful. It's some of the best Mexican in town and I LOVE THEIR WORK! July 2021 Update: Doing a great job of being open during lockdown and love their work! Swapan rocks too!

Always fresh produce, staff pleasant towards customers. Restaurant was very clean. As expected of Mad Mex locations. My only advice, be nicer to the delivery drivers, especially when we can notice it. And a side note, customers can not see through condensation on the glass. Its a pain but needs to be fixed

We are coming here often Today We had nachos and mini melt. Asha always serves with lot of hospitality and patience. She listens to our requirements and serves accordingly. Service, Quality and quantity of the food was excellent!

Always a regular at Madmax parramatta. The food is nice and taste always consistent. However when visited today, I noticed the staff was cleaning the table (with gloves on) before another customer approached. She quickly served the customer BUT WITH THE SAME PAIRS OF GLOVES she used to clean the table. After that still using the same pairs of gloves to touch everything at the counter. This is very unhygienic. I’m not sure if this is the same across other staff but I used to see staff put new ones on prior serving. Please work on this especially this time when covid and flu are still around. It is NOT ACCEPTABLE

Normally on other Mad Mex restaurant service has been good but I was really disappointed at this particular one on Church Street. Restaurant was totally empty, I walked in and ordered a veg quesadillas and chicken burrito. I was told to wait because chicken wasn't ready. I got chicken and veg quesadillas 😑.

The service was good however the food was nothing to write home about. During winter the food should be served at a much higher temperature.. By the time we walked out it was barely lukewarm.

So fresh and so good food and good friendly staffs . Really appreciate their hospitality. Thanks team for the amazing food and service.

Fantastic burritos, nachos and churos in a good locality - great if you are looking for a fast-food experience or take-away. Not fine dining. Good value for money

There's so much restaurants in Parramatta and I didn't know what to choose. Mad men is one of the safest place to go and they provide healthier fast food, I got the naked burrito with chorizo and chicken.<br/><br/>(To be continued)

Disappointing service we missed 3 meals and as we showed them the receipt they completely ignored us. Extremely upset will never dine here again.

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in Australia. The food comes very quick and is very affordable. There is a wide range of delicious mexican foods to choose from with the best one being the Grande Melt in my opinion (extremely recommended).

Service here is slow and not very friendly. The food here is ok if you want to grab something quick to eat for lunch however there are a lot of better options along Church Street to choose from.

"Mexican" done badly in a  fast food environment. I don't know anyone could rate this above average.  It's not even a restaurant IMO.  It's places like this that turn people off Mexican food forever.

Not my favourite Mad Mex, but as my boyfriend prefers this one because he thinks it's closer I will go often, tho I'd rather black town Mad Mex.<br/>The food is still good, but the staff are very rude half the time. They forgot my Guacamole once and I had to run back to get it cause I live for guacamole. The girl who served me knew I payed for it so and handed me one, but not with out being rude about it as if it was my fault they forgot? I didn't even get an apology :( other times they seem unhappy to be there, I get it I work at KFC myself, but you should either quit or put on a smile. I also hate the fact that they don't have a recycling bin for glass and plastic bottles !!! What the guys it's 2017 I feel like a monster putting my glasses in general waste, I asked the girl if they had any recycling bins and she actually said to me in a "No we don't" in a *are you stupid* tone. :< please step up ur game guys.

So to start about, the staff here treats you as per the origin you belong to. It has been notice several time that they discriminate on the basis of your origin. For the first two times i thought that they serve this amount for the Naked Burrito, but wait someone behind me took the same and got a box filled with all the ingredients. Now that's surprising isn't it? Wouldn't recommend this place at all. And the management should hire staff who are friendly and equal as everyone who comes here pays the same, I dint pay less to get a small portion.

I don't mind this franchise and I do like there decor but this place has a upstairs area which looks like it's still undergoing renovations! There is 2 long tables upstairs but that's it. A curtain is up which they use here to keep there stock<br/>My main gripe is my naked burrito being barely warm! <br/>Not up to the usual standards of mad mex

Mad Mex is definitely consistent with service, servings, quality and so on. <br/>Still hung up on the fact that Guac is additional, it should be a free resource; like water... <br/><br/><br/><br/>

I could visit this place only once once during my 2 month stay in Australia. It was a sendoff treat for me from a close buddy, the night before I flew back to India. I was pretty impressed with their quality and choices.<br/><br/>I tried their naked veggie Burrito, and it was quite a treat for my tastebuds! Just the right amount of flavour. The quantity could have been better, but that's not really reason enough to complain.<br/><br/>We got our order pretty fast, as is the case with most fast food joints. We also had a couple of soft drinks, which were pretty standard fare. The ambiance was quite good, and appeared authentic.<br/><br/>I would certainly recommend this place for a quick, tasty bite! Reliable. Mad Mex is certainly reliable. We have our favourites - as most people do. The menu is quite long and of course the variations available make the choices even more difficult. We always end up with burrito's - as we did here. We always have chicken as the filling too - again as we did here. It seems most people have a favourite combination at Mad Mex and tend to have it time after time.

Quick & efficient service at the counter, we ordered the special prawn tacos, a pork burrito and a plate of nachos. I agree that paying extra for guacamole is a bit of stretch, who has ever eaten nachos without guacamole??? Anyway, I forked out the extra and got it back by paying for 1 cup for the refillable drink station and went back about 5 times (Does that make me a thief or just a cheapskate?). <br/><br/>The food was tasty, perfect Sunday evening chow down. I especially like having the three sauces on the table to spice it up a little more, they were all yummy. Good work Mad Mex - we will be back. Just 1 thing, move the bin away from the cash register, doesn't exactly whet the appetite.
