Review River Canyon Bar & Grill Restaurant - Parramatta

Visited there on a Saturday evening. A decent buffet for $ 49 per head. Lot of options were there including quite a few meat options. The pricing on the facebook page were wrong for kids. It said $ 15 and $ 19 for kids, but they charged me $ 25 (for 3 - 6 yo) and $ 35 (for 7+). Manager appologised saying the pricings were old and removed service charge and 2% surchargefrom the bill. The place had a private event running and they offered the rest of the tables to public. I wouldn't recommend to go there when there are events running. It's bit of a disturbamce for both parties. Entertainment was ok. Island dancing and various costumes.

Went there for Persian night on Apr 17th, food was amazing, incomparable to many other buffets I've been to! Buffet was full of food for 2.5 hours and that was the best part! Staff were friendly and helpful Dessert was more than enough, There was a photographer who took photos of you and your friends(no matter how many you want) Highly recommended! Keep on great job!

The Tandoori wings was a hit. Decent portion size and served hot. Succulent, tender and juicy wings. However, the Charcoal chicken was cold and the meat wasn't tender.

I ordered Pinacolada. It’s just a coconut milk with ice. Waste. Food is good. just ordinary food but tasty. Nice atmosphere very relaxing. We will visit again but definitely no pinacolada maybe will something else.

I celebrated my 60th birthday at River Canyon on July 16. It was a wonderful night. The buffet, music, staff and Latin night show were amazing. My guests had so much fun. I also celebrated my 50th birthday here, that was 10 years ago! It was also a great night.

Attended the Mother’s Day evening conjuncted with fantastic live Island entertainment. Great location with a nice serene view upon parramatta river and you may also take a seating in the outside area on the veranda of your choice. Buffet surrounding was clean and the feast looked delicious and provided an option of various food choices to your liking and desserts. My family and I found the entertainment to be amusing, enjoyable, appreciated the lively dancing, pleasant and boisterous! Staff were friendly and nice serving the food and you could certainly obtain your seconds, thirds, fourth plate till you’re super full😋😆!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves live entertainment and music 🎶 with a DJ also for you to dance or boogie 💃 on that dance floor!! I found this restaurant to be a friendly family orientated restaurant and you will have an amazing time👍♥️🎶💃💜.

Subpar entertainment, food is tasty but packed up before 9pm on a Saturday. Bar serves soft drinks that are flat. Some waitresses very great some not so much. Use to be a great place but unfortunately embarrassed me in front of my guests last night so we all left before 10pm. Some guests still hungry.
