Review Guzman Y Gomez - Parramatta

The staff were busy doing their own chatting, waited almost 5 mins in the front to ask for a sauce when the store was dead and with 4 people inside no one thought to even glance. Also, the burrito bowl is supposed to come with salsa and cheese however there is only the beans rice chips and meat in mine?

Alright burritos but mine was lacking chicken 😔 Good $2 coffee.

Terrible service!! There are not much people around, check the picture not even any long queue as well. The staffs are so slow, busy with phones, guys this is not how you provide service!! Waited for 15 minutes to get a simple order. And I would just add another small thing “cleanliness 👎”

I am here now and I love their Mexican Bowls. Staff are really nice too. Highly recommended! June 2021 Addition: I'm back eating a legendary Enchilada and it's DIVINE. Love the staff too!! I just can't get enough of this place. Got another Burrito ❤

Horrible service made me wait for a long time for my free burrito and in the end they told me it didn't go in their system even so they given me a receipt they just wasted my time.

I have seen a cockroach roaming around in the store today. For sure there is no proper hygiene maintenance. Have been here previously, wait times are ridiculous even if they don’t have any customers. Terrible customer service - staff are quite rude, and always talking amongst themselves.

Good place and always busy. Sometimes so busy that they forgot to pack one of the ordered items and I found out later. When busy and doing takeaway better check. Cheapest coffee ($2) in the Westfield and it tastes good.

Hit or miss with this place. I’ve had the best burrito bowls from any Guzman y Gomez I’ve been to here. But I’ve also had to deal with continuous mess ups like no extra guac when ordered or no spicy beef when ordered and minimal shredded lettuce when replacing white rice. Today I am so annoyed because I was keen to get something greasy but I decided to eat healthy and my order was completely messed up but I’ve hit my carb limit so no going backwards. Disappointing but also excellent so as I said, hit or miss…

Ordered a burrito bowl and they haven’t put avocado paste in it.And , they haven’t put coriander and onion separately for further addition.The container was totally empty.Other gUzman y Gomez are really good, but I had worst experience at parramatta Guzman y Gomez

This place sells the best nacho fries in town<br/>(french fries with veggies and meat toppings , salsa, guacamole and mexican sauce)<br/>LOVE IT<br/>Jalapeño green sauce and hot sauce adds amazing flavours to it.. <br/>must try for anyone whose after flavourful and spicy food

Ordered the nachos and it was pretty decent but as for the burritos made here, it wasn't as nice as i expected. The flavours on the burrito did not compliment each other and ruined the overall experience for me. Staff was nice but in my opinion everything is basically overpriced.

They don’t offer free tap water. The food is okay and all, but some of the food can be spicy, so while it isn’t a legal requirement to serve free tap water (because they don’t sell alcohol), it’s just the nice thing to do as fellow humans.

Service was good but my meal was only so so.  Had a chicken enchilada, should have been called a rice enchilada with some chicken.  At least twice as much rice if not 3 times as much rice as chicken.  Had rice in every mouthful, chicken maybe 1 in 3.  Never had rice in an enchilada before and have been going to Mexican restaurants since the early 80s.  Will never be going back to GyG again......

It's a good thing that I don't always conclude on my first experience, I visited this outlet at Westfield for my free burrito. The order placed on the app was smooth, staff was very friendly and the burrito was ready in no time. The ambience is fantastic. And finally coming to the food, the burrito was so good, exactly how I'd expected it to be. I ordered for the spicy chicken burrito, portion was good, was filled with all the necessary ingredients and was hot. Chicken tasted real good, definitely one to recommend. Will surely have it again.

Friendly staff. The food has always come across really quick here. As always great on taste and fresh. The hard shell tacos r my fav. Everything on the menu is absolutely yummmm.

I haven't had food from here, it was my first time just recently. The workers there seemed like they put effort in what they made. I had the nacho fries and it was delicious! Definitely coming back for more (:

This place is cosy.Staff are friendly and food is delivered fast. Had vegetarian nachos with sour cream. It is delicious. I go there repeatedly for quick lunch or dinner fixes.

Fast service, good food and very cheap because of promo. Nothing bad to say really. Had the burrito bowl with grilled fish with no black beans for $5.

I came here for lunch today. The lady behind the counter wasn't very friendly or welcoming. My burrito bowl was really delicious and nicely cooked. I also like their little sauce station where you can get extras to enhance the flavour of your meal.

This is the best Mexican fast food (sort of) Restaurant in Sydney. Nothing else compares to this, Mad Mex and Salsas ain't nothing. The flavour of the food is amazing. The service is impeccable and seating area is great. The prices are affordable and honestly have been thinking about their food everyday since I last went. I ordered their chicken Quesadillas and a side of fries. My friends had the beef nachos and burrito and both were heavenly. The beef was so tender,juicy and flavourful. Highly recommend this place. Great for lunch 👍🏾

Had the mini burrito for dinner. <br/>Service was friendly and quick. Food came out super fast. The shop looked clean and tidy. <br/>But didnt expect the mini ones that small, maybe smaller than the half size of the regular ones? haha

Best Mexican food restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu was simple and extremely delicious. Though service was appreciable.<br/>Next visit soon :) <br/>

Guzman Y Gomez has never failed to satisfy me. Food is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavour! So good to have a place like this to go to and know that it will be gluten free and amazing. Love the fact that you can pick your own sauces and jalapeños to add to your food after you get it. One of my fave fast food joints ever! Only downside is that it is a lil pricier than other fast food / take away joints.

The Mexican fast-food chain is spreading across Sydney, it has limited but good variety of Mexican food and beverages , however the it lacks consistency in the taste from outlet to outlet. It has the full spread of Nachos , tacos , Burritos etc <br/> The o e in the city is very good, however the Paramatta one was just OK,

Fresh and Healthy Mexican food. I ordered the 3 taco combo and had beef & chicken. The tortillas were very fresh and taste homemade. The salsa was fresh as well but was not as spicy as I would have liked. I ordered mild. Next time I will try hot. Overall a great experience.

I've avoided this place because I had food poisoning from another store and what do I do without noticing? I've had a lot of mad mex and I find this has more of a stronger black bean flavour to it which is ok with me. Mad mex doesn't have the fish option <br/><br/>A good tip for those that read this review,there app gives you a free burrito and I had minor technical issues ordering from it! <br/><br/>I think because I've had so much mad mex it started tasting same same so it's good food but nothing special for me at the same time

Looking for a quick Mexican food fix? Then Guzman y Gomez is the place to be. Conveniently located inside Westfield Parramatta, GyG offers your usual tacos, quesadillas, burrito, fajitas and nachos with your choice of meat toppings like grilled chicken, pulled pork, steak, slow cooked beef, barramundi and even roasted veggies for the vegetarian in you. Don't expect anything fancy but the food is good. They also serve frozen margarita! Enough reason to come back.

Was never a fan of Mexican cuisine. Thought of trying this out and boy was it a bang for the bucks!<br/>The burrito turned out to be absolutely sumptuous and since then I have been here for almost 12 times now!

Came here for dinner during winter and realised that they only sell cold drinks -  even a self-serve water station would make things much better, warm water or tea would be great. Guzman and gomez food is tasty, option for brown rice is great and love the free toppings. However, some ingredients in our bowls were cold when they're meant to be hot (eg. meat)... probably from being pre-cooked and left around.

Nice location just near the cinemas. The menu is fresh and the food quite tasty. I highly recommend the Burrito bowl and the hard tacos. Also make sure to order a frozen margarita!

Very impressed by the Mexican food at Guzman y Gomez at Parramatta. Located outside Event cinemas, it's a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner before a movie or even an excellent alternative from the mediocrity of food courts. We had the burrito bowl which is basically a deconstructed burrito but instead of the wrap, you get corn chips. There's an awesome combination of black beans and salsa. The grilled chicken is divine with nice charred bits. The pulled pork chipotle is also another awesome option and a bit spicy, but good spicy! The decor is nice and clean. Service is fast, you pay at the counter and receive a table number. Will be back during my next lunch break!

I love Guzman and Gomez Mexican. Its adjustable to what you feel like and its always fresh. The menu is extensive enough to suit all taste buds and its always delicious. I literally went through a phase where I ate this at least every second day it was so good.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who had visited Australia before. And the Mexican cuisine fan that I was, I couldn't resist! I ended up eating 3 times during the course of my short stay in Sydney. I'd have to admit, I was bowled over! <br/><br/>It's strategically located at a corner of Westfield Shoppingtown, away from the hustle and bustle. I liked the fact that they provide seating inside and outside their restaurant. The ambiance is pretty decent. No qualms there!<br/><br/>I tried their burrito, burrito bowl and tacos. They were all yum, but the burrito bowl definitely stood out! Being a vegetarian, I didn't have much choice regarding the fillings, but when why should I complain? It was a real treat for my taste buds! Also, the fact that I could get a can of soft drink for just $1, was a nice little bonus!<br/><br/>Their staff members were friendly, and the service was quick. I'm really missing the food here, to be honest! Posh fast food has been the trend, no one executes this better than Grill'd, Guzman Y Gomez (GYG) certainly fills that latino void. The quality of the beef is pretty good normally you would have expected minced beef but at GYG they use what appears to be slow cooked pieces of beef. The veggies were fresh and nicely prepared. Corn chips were crispy and had that nice grilled flavour. No other food can deceptively fill you up as Mexican. I had their burritos once before and it's certainly a good place to carb up. Conclusion My advice to you is to always go for beef and only go there if you're really hungry. Good service and fresh food, simple but amazing combination. ★★★★/ 5 Would I go again? Yes.

Don't eat here!!!. Nachos does not tast like nachos instead of using minced beef they use roast beef cheap. Taste is not Good at all. No way this is Mexican food. The so called roast beef and chicken. Became charcoal beef and chicken.

I actually go here a lot to get vegan burritos. I love them, however I think they're pretty expensive for what you get. It's especially frustrating when I ask for no cheese, no beans, and if I just want to swap white rice for brown that costs extra! I think a little improvement should be made with being able to swap ingredients especially when they're not losing any money from it. Other than that the customer service at the Rhodes store is always great.

Not bad. Definitely better than mad-mex or most other mexican alternatives in area. Chicken burrito bowl's always makes for a decent lunch at a decent price.

Best Tacos in Parramatta. There have been a few Mexican places spring up in Parramatta recently. This one is surely the best of them. The tacos and burritos and filling and flavoursome. The staff are friendly and service is great.<br/><br/>I usually come here for lunch at least once a week. Highly recommend!

The food here is not great at all. We nachos with pork and a chicken fajita burrito. The pork was watery and flavourless and the chicken was horrible. Not recommended.
