Review Oliver Brown - Parramatta

They serve one of the best coffees in Parramatta. Especially their hot chocolate and desserts. They are amazing. The staff here are nice. I recommend it if you're looking for a decent hangout place.

I have been here many times and the service was average but I had a very bad experience recently. I came in with a group of friends and we ordered alot of items. We specifically asked the waitress for glass cups twice. Our request had fell on deaf ears. I went and asked the barrista for the glass cups and he gave me paper cups for takeaway. We always come in and recieve glass cups for all. The barrista was of indian descent who had very rude customer service. His reason for not giving glass cups was that he had alot of orders, and could not give them even though we were first in first served. I was disgusted in the manner of how he handled the situation. Surely, a company with a large reputation can afford to have more glass cups. To the owner reading this, you lost all your old good staff who did a great job. I will be going to Bay Vista Parramatta from now on. You lost a loyal customer.

I am absolutely in love with there breakfast waffle and hazelnut latte! Perfect combo to make a weekend morning!

Great service, open late. Variety of lovely chocolate to eat and drink. We tried the choc mountain sundae. It was all that we hoped for!

Great customer service . Very nice staff .nice coffee 1 year ago not anymore 🤮 . Ever since the new coffee beans its disgusting. Advice change the brand of coffee bean. I will never return.

We ordered a Belgium mocha (with milk chocolate) and a milk hot chocolate. There was no chocolate in either drinks. The mocha was a cappuccino and the hot chocolate was just warm milk.

Place is a bit small specially if you have a pram with you. Must try the hot chocolate with crunchy balls. Also tried the winter hot drinks (Lychee and blueberries) and I find the Lychee too strong for my taste however staffs were nice.

Warm waffle walnuts with pleasure<br/><br/>It was exciting as we enter Oliver brown cafe, the staff welcomed us as we enter their domain. The place gives you a hip vibe, it was relaxing and homey. The menu is old style where they hand written everything unfortunately I didn't take a picture.<br/><br/>The food was the main focus and it was really amazing. We had waffle with walnuts, premium Vanilla ice cream, banana grilled and Belgium chocolate spread over the plate. It was sweet but not overpowering, the food just melts in your mouth as you took the first bite. Honestly it's a great place to have dessert or chill with your mates.<br/><br/>Would recommend to anyone, for dates or just for alone Time with food.

Your standard dessert place. Has a typical menu— similar to that of Max Brenner. The girls that served me were very friendly and polite which makes all the difference. Ordered a single waffle and it was presented so nicely! A single waffle here costs 20c less than a single waffle at Max Brenner ($6.20 and is only served with chocolate— no powdered sugar or strawberry [unless you pay extra]).

I had the frutti waffle for one. The ice cream was icey and not creamy at all. There was too much chocolate on my waffle and too much icing. The only thing I liked about this was the dark chocolate design on the plate, other than that, that’s about it.

Oliver Brown is a dessert place on Church St. It has a lot of different options to choose from for someone coming on an empty stomach or a big meal. I personally had the waffle and it was delicious. It came with ice cream and the hot waffle worked extremely well with the ice cream.

This was my first visit to Oliver Brown, so ordered Belgian Waffle with ice cream. Presentation of food was good and when i took my first bite i was like wow this is the best waffle i have had. I really liked it with milk chocolate. Waffle was crispy and soft inside which is perfect. Service was good enough and staff were friendly. Gonna visit again!!

Nice cafe... I haven’t found their best but they doing alright!! Their Chocolate milkshake is my husband fave!! The person behind the counter was nice to give plenty of chocolate bits to my daughter when she asked for sample 👍

We visited on a Thursday night. Not too many people in the store but still waited 35 minutes for all of our orders to make their way to the table. I’ve been to Oliver Brown in other places and had delicious desserts not so here. Drinks were more milk than flavour and we watched the staff burn two lots of waffles before delivering our over cooked rock like order. Churros are NOT fresh. Caramel slice had a chemical aftertaste and the mocha lacked chocolate. I wouldn’t go back to this outlet in a hurry.

Service here is not the best and the food here is the standard Oliver brown fare you would get from any other Oliver brown. Only come here if you're desperate for a coffee and nowhere else is open.

Always great to come to this place, especially if you want some hot choc! I had the mint choc version with milk chocolate. It tasted nice and minty fresh. The beverages my friend and I ordered took a while to come out though, but the quality of the drinks were on point!

My cravings for Oliver Brown waffles and churros hit at random times. Sadly, the quality at Oliver Brown Parramatta does not mean the same standard that is set by other Oliver Brown restaurants and I'm always left disappointed. <br/><br/>I've been here a couple times, each time hoping that it will be better than the last. The waffles are always mushy and not crisp as they should be. It feels stale and as if it has been reheated multiple times before. <br/><br/>Churros are not plated well, always feel like they have been carelessly thrown onto the plate with an uneven spread of icing sugar and cinnamon everywhere. They are denser than what I usually get from other Oliver Brown restaurants and also feel quite stale.

I have never tried Oliver Brown before so was surprised by the number of outlets that show up on zomato. The hot chocolate is good, nice and creamy, not too sweet or rich for me.

One of the worst dining experiences I've had in sydney, overpriced, bland food, didn't have anything we wanted, took 45mins to cook eggs on toast. There were dirty dishes everywhere, clearly understaffed. Overworked staff were apologetic and polite. Avoid.

Never a disappointment. I love Oliver Brown!<br/>Their menu is pretty extensive compared to Max Brenner. Their chocolate is my fave.<br/>Service is okay, staff could be a bit friendlier but I suppose it comes down to whip serves you.<br/>Only downside is the bad lighting - sorry guys! It's super hard to take a good photo in here.<br/>Other than that, no complaints.

Shared the banana split and fondue with 6 other people. The desserts were full of chocolate-y goodness. Great ambience, quite spacious for a big group and staff were very friendly. Would definitely come back for another visit.

As always, I went for an affogato. My go to dessert when I also want coffee! <br/><br/>Noticed that Oliver Brown in Parramatta has better vibe than the ones I've been in. Cool and attentive service staff. Can't fault the dessert selection but can't also say they are drool worthy.

Although the ambience here is so so, but love the waffles . The choc chips inside the waffles gives it extra texture. It's very rich and the waffles are shareable between many people.

This place gets first prize for rudeness & not being able to understand english. Is she Korean ?   I think so, and, she appeared to be the boss on Fri 16/9/16 around 8pm.  Not only did I have to repeat my order to her again & again but she would turn away from me to speak with her little filipina friend while I was repeating the order !  Amazing rudeness, then of course she'd turn & ask me to repeat the order.<br/><br/>Go somewhere that u don't have to endlessly repeat your order &, the staff actually give a shit  ! <br/>

The $1 coffee from any 7-11 is better than this $3.80 cup of hot milk. Hopeless. Inexperienced staff, rude barista. This store has a long way to go.

Yummm!<br/>Their hot chocolates are perfect! They use real chocolate so it's just extra smooth and creamy and chocolate tasting. <br/>Crepes were lovely I just wasn't fussed with the ice cream because it had iced over and gone a little weird.

Waffles, Waffles and more waffles!! Also some pretty good shakes and hot chocolates here. I am a fan of their coconut hot chocolate and mint hot chocolate. Have also tried their sundae's and they are nothing short of tasty! Order and pay at counter and they will bring out. Lots of indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. Great for a coffee catch up.

OB is a common chocolate dessert place with many stores which makes it easy and accessible. OB is an slightly above average however, to me, OB is one of my top choices, and would only come, for their churros. They are nice and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside which is perfect.

I dont just like Oliver Brown - I LOVE Oliver Brown. They have Belgian waffles - Churros - cakes - Macarons - sundaes - Fondue - strawberry dips - crepes - hand crafted chocolate - hot and cold beverages - ice cream and even some savoury items in the fridge. I highly recommend the banana waffles.

Customer service was shocking. Waited at the counter for service. The barista was busy making coffee and therefore called his co workers to take our order. Three female employees were standing around having a conversation. The conversation paused for a second when a worker came over to see who was at the counter and resumed her conversation as if we weren't there. Again the barista called one of the female employees to take our order. Finally a employee took our order as if nothing happened, no apology or guilt for making us wait so they could stand around and have a chat. Appalling!
