Came here with the family. The little ones had their standard margarita pizza and finished it off completely. Crust and all...... that’s a big deal for my kids. If they eat the pizza crust, it mean they enjoyed it. I had the fettuccine carbonara. The pasta was cooked nicely and the sauce was delicious. A couple of glasses of Pinot finished the meal off nicely. We will definitely return.
First time trying pizza from quella as girlfriend lives in the area. Just ordered 2 large pizzas. One being a cap with anchovies and truffle oil and the other a quella pizza for the misses. I'd say these pizzas were up there with the best I've ever eaten. Was perfect. I can't say anything bad about it. Cooked perfectly. Taste was beautiful. The way a pizza is supposed to be cooked. 5 stars from me.
Quella is a great place to go for a genuine woodfired pizza with yummy toppings and a menu that always includes specials so you can have a change from the large variety of pizzas that are available. My favourite will always be the Salmone pizza which is made a little different with the inclusion of rosemary. The Capricciosa is always good and the Il Grande is great if you like a little of everything. For entree, the Antipasto platter is varied and tasty. Pastas are always good and for dessert try one of the dessert pizzas featuring the always popular Nutella spread. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are friendly and good. Especially nice on a cold night, go in relax and let Ange and his team work their magic.
Ordered take away from here last night and it hit the mark as it always had before! Pizza is EXACTLY as I like it, perfect base, wood fired, tasty , and nothing at all like fake cheap pizza shops! We had Margarita and the gnocchi in like a pesto with Parmesan. Would highly recommend and will return for sit down soon!

This was / is the best pizza joint in pascovale (my opinion) they had really nice pizza and pasta. Service was grate. But there was a lack of tables and not enough moving space.
Always get pick up, and never disappoints! Pizza and pasta are delicious! It’s always consistent. My local go to pizza place. The Nutella pizza is also yummy!

Italians are crazy for pizza and we have been lucky to experience this craze in Melbourne. The Italian Pizza market is more competitive than ever, even if you are not Italian most people now know what to look for. My local Pizzeria was Modo Mio which I have previously reviewed, it is now under new management and horrendous, so I have been on the hunt and found this little gem locally, thanks to a friends recommendation.
Quella Pizzeria has a rustic Italian village restaurant vibe. Casual in style and setting. Dark chocolate timber tables and chairs, brick walls with prints of Italy. It felt welcoming. The Pizza oven is in full view of customers and you can see your order in the making. This was my first visit and we opted for takeaway just to experience the pizza and see if we will be back. The takeaway tasted great, so I can confidently say we will be back to dine in.
The Super thin crust was a tick. Baked in a woodfire oven was a tick. A Generous spread of fresh tomato sauce tick. Fresh Toppings tick. I ordered the Organic Garden which had a burst of flavors, you could distinctly taste the wood-roasted eggplant and peppers, it was enjoyable. I also ordered the Pollo which was also nice but felt it did not have the same intensity of flavor. The suggestions would have been both required a little more cheese. The cheese was a little lost on the pizza. The Organic Garden was great but it could have been amazing if the Ricotta was replaced with Goats curd or cheese. The flavor of the Ricotta is very delicate, the Goats cheese would have given it that extra tang. I felt both pizzas had to much rocket for my liking. Overall the Pizza combinations and ingredients on their menu compliment one another and I'm excited to try again.
My 3 Key Pointers
• I would love to see Potato Pizza on the menu, this is a must for all good Pizzerias.
• The venue is small so you would require a booking.
• You should never let your pizza get cold but takeaway did not disappoint.

Good tasting pizza just a little pricey for what it is and a little skimp on the toppings. Atmosphere is nice if you'd like to dine in and take-away is normally pretty speedy.
I have dined in here twice and the pizza was delicious. Best margarita I've ever had. I got a takeaway pizza last and it was ready so quickly and was so yummy. Made the genius decision to save a piece for lunch today and it tastes almost as good the second day.
Also the service from staff is always super friendly.

Usually after ordering in a pizza from a random local pizza place I feel heavy and bloated after, but not with this place! Y? Because there dough is made properly and the ingredients are just enough! I loved it!
A bite more pricy, but for proper pizza, it's worth it!

For some bizarre reason Pascoe Vale has an abundant pizza places. Quella I think is the best of the bunch. Not the cheapest but quality woodfire pizza and worth it just to avoid cheap soggy pizza.
Great local pizza place without big price tag. One of my fave pizza is the hot salami pizza with red peppers, it is amazing. It's cooked well & still juicy even you take it home. One downside is that waiting time is bit too long, but hey it's a popular place & they do great pizzas. It's worth it.

Have had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed many take away pizza's at home. The best quality wood fired pizza in Pascoe Vale in my opinion.
First-class Italian restaurant-quality food that doesn't break the bank! it's literally within walking distance of where I live! (Talk about luxurious convenience!)
I always find this petite yet vibrant Quella Pizzeria packed to beyond capacity whenever I dine or order take-away, no matter what time of the evening. What a beautiful atmosphere it is too when every seat is filled with chatter and indulgence, and every possible standing spot is occupied with the take-away walk-ins just itching to get stuck into their box filled with heaven.
To top it all off, the staff are absolutely wonderful. Beautiful in all facets of their service. It's no wonder people come from all over Melbourne to experience Quella Pizzeria, and bookings are in high demand! Well done to all.

Dined here tonight. Lovely warm and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff, and an extensive menu, surprising for such a small establishment. Might we suggest some appropriate music rather than the TV in the corner

A little slice of Naples!. This Northern suburbs pizza place is a little slice of Naples!... When I think Quella the word 'Authentic' comes to mind... Thin and crispy yet soft and pliable, the pizza bases are topped with modest amounts of fresh ingredients all cooked to perfection in a wood fire oven... Good vibe, great setting, friendly service and quality pizza, this place brings little Italy in Lygon Street to Pascoe Vale.

Best pizza ive ever had. I've been Italian all of my life. we follow a tradition of making wood fire pizza that can't be beat, and the pizza at quella, fat surpasses any other that I have tried...forget 400gradi and anything on lygon st, head to pascoe vale road, and you will keep coming back for more!!! absolutely sensational!

BEST PIZZA IN MELBOURNE. In my opinion by far the best pizza in Melbourne. It can be compared with some of the greats in Melbourne at the moment like 400 gradi. The pizza is fantastic it takes me back to my days in Italy relaxing in the piazza enjoying Italy's world recognized and famous pizzas. Quella pizzeria have gone back to the basics and have recognized all of the necessary components in order to make an amazing pizza such as the perfect dough and the freshest ingredients avaliable. QUELLA PIZZERIA WE WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK AND DEFINITELY BE RECOMMENDING.

With limited places to eat in pascoe vale this one is a gem! Staff are friendly & we didn't have to wait long for our meals... Pizzas are amazing- very tasty & fresh and generous in size. The Nutella pizza was soooo good! Great decor & atmosphere- we"ll be back!
Not bad, a bit pricey. I enjoyed my first pizza here but over $40 for 3 pizzas is a bit rich. Woodfire is nice but other local pizza places are going to give you a better pizza unless your looking to sit and enjoy a decent atmosphere in a smic looking place.
AMAZING PIZZA!. Cannot express how much I love this place! For those with a sweet tooth, you can't miss out on the white chocolate pizza!!! Delish! I'm from the other side of Melbourne but will gladly drive here for a good meal!

We decided to give this place another go after a bad first experience. This time, the pizzas were really nice, a lot more topping than the pizzas we had ordered previously, and quality ingredients are used.
A tad pricey I would say, but the pizzas we got were delish!
I have to be honest I have a "Quella" addiction!!!! My wife and I first went about 4 weeks ago and since that time we are regulars. Our entire family and friends are all hooked!!! The menu is amazing and we have had both the wood fire pizza's and the pasta. Delicious, full of flavor, fresh ingredients and the staff are soooo nice. Can I say their pear pizza is simply to die for. Had yet another memorable night tonight tried the antipasto and the signature "Quella" pizza. Spectacular!!
A little bit of italy. This pizzeria would not look out of place if it was located in any of the coastal resort town in Italy.
My wife and I went by for a quick dinner before heading to the airport, thus was only able to sample two of their pizzas (one savory, one sweet). Both were very nice and reminisce of the pizzas we had in our last trip to the Chinque Terre.

We live locally and bought a couple of pizzas here about 2 months ago. The base was great but the topping was minimal and started about 5cm in from the edge of the pizza. We were disappointed as it was only up the street and we had been waiting for it to open. We tried it again tonight and it was fantastic. We got the pepperoni and the pollo, both were great pizzas. The base and tomato sauce was great again but this time the topping was more generous, covering the whole pizza, and the ingredients were very tasty. Obviously they have taken feedback from somewhere and have responded to it positively. Well done, we'll be back.
Hiding in the suburbs. I live close by and have watched the start of this place. The building and now i tried it. Awesome. Best pizza I have had by a mile. I ordered the olive bruschetta but could not eat that plus the pizza...Home made sausage with buffalo mozzarella and hot salami was fantastic.... Cant wait to take friends there. Highly recommended.
Fantastic pizza. Although we're a little sceptical about local pizza shops, this restaurant produces superb pizzas. The base and fillings are perfect and the woodfire gives the pizza an unbelievable taste. By far and away the best pizza in a 10km radius. Worth a visit or two!

I have been dying to try this place out and lets just say it was absolutely worth the wait!!! I had the oceana and partner had siciliana. Such great pizzas and service!! Loved it! Especially the pizza maker! Definitely suits the part! Ill be coming back!

Love the pizza @ this place! Took my family there and everyone was pleased! Reasonably priced, great atmosphere and friendly staff. You've got to try the garlic focaccia with cheese and the quella pizza. Finally a decent wood fire pizzeria in the area.

This place is absolutely superb and you really feel the warmth and authenticity of a great Italian restaurant. Although they were busy, service was great and the pizza was fantastic, me and my partner loved the desert and coffee too, can't wait to come back, absolutely stoked to have a place like this in our area.

Pizzeria in Pascoe Vale. Easy one of the best pizza / pasta restaurants i've been to food wine and coffee all fantastic will be going there again and again can highly recommend.
Smack in the middle of a culinary dead zone you'll find this oasis. First night, struggling with a packed house, but still turning out really good pizza, definitely at the Ladro/Meine Liebe end of the spectrum. Tried two pizzas, a Ramacca, and a Salmone. Crisp, light bases, tasty toppings, not heavy handed. If you live in the area you shouldn't miss it - you'd have to drive 10km to find anything like it.
Pizza was very good and staff were friendly. The Shiraz went well with the food. The music was pop and didn't suit the decor. There was a TV in the dining area which was turned to channel 7. This place would be a solid 5 if the music was more dining appropriate, the TV was gone and if there were a few little extra touches like tea lights on the tables.
I had the calamari special and my husband had the gorgonzola pizza. My calamari and the chips that came with was great, my husbands pizza was also amazing, nice proper thin crispy crust. Staff was friendly and the place was nice and cozy. From the restaurants we have been to in the area their pizza are the best for me so we will def be going back!
Been going to this place for 3 odd years. By far the best pizza in the area. No one comes close. Most importantly it’s very consistent with fresh ingredients. My kids love it. And the Nutella pizza is off the charts. Keep it up
My Quella Pizzeria experience began and ended with some of the most friendly, helpful staff I have ever encountered from a Pizza place. The Tropicana, Garlic Pizza and Italian sausage fettuccine was absolutely supurb. I highly recommend this establishment and will be using it again.
Really delicious, authentic pizza. Ordered for pickup and gave them extra time to get it ready. Turned up half an hour later and it was still being prepared and hadn’t been cooked. Lucky it was yummy!
