Popped into Atami Japanese for dinner to get my Japanese fix, my first time visit, and seems like a suburban spot for a casual quiet night out. Okonomiyaki - a personal favourite the version here is as a seafood pancake which is thin and served with BBQ sauce, kewpie mayo, and Benito flakes. Pretty
Food was quite average. But the service and the setting were really good. Wouldn't visit again though!
Great Japanese food, probably the best I've had in Melbourne. Friendly staff who are very aware of the gluten free options available on the menu (and GF soy sauce). Will be back!

Moved away so hadn’t been for years. The food is so good. Better than I remember it! We had the B Banquet. Service is attentive and caring. The flavours are complex and prices are from a bygone era. Yum!
Lovely place with authentic Japanese food. So happy to have discovered this gem. No more going into the city for me!
I have been eating here for years. Always delicious food, always friendly staff. Highly recommended for an inexpensive night out.
