Review Lakeview Charcoal Chicken - Patterson Lakes

Chicken and chips are always cooked to perfection every single time. My partner and I order through the Uber eats app quite frequently and we get the tastiest chicken and chips every time. Always get more then what we pay for and they have the best prices around, everywhere else overcharges! Definitely the best charcoal chicken shop I've been too and I would recommend to anyone wanting that amazing charcoal chicken experience haha!

This is by far the worst charcoal chicken I’ve ever stepped into. Terrible customer service from the start, the lady taking my order was so slow she looked half asleep. They didn’t even put forks in the bag. The chicken was the driest most bland piece of food I’ve ever tasted and the chips were stone cold. Have they ever heard of seasoning before? I don’t think they know what salt and pepper is.

Chips are good. Gravy is thick and not anything like it was, isn't nice. Fried chicken tastes like it's been marinated in 5 spice 🤢

Service was exceptional, however food/food production was disappointing. Ordered two chicken HSP’s with sweet chilli sauce and garlic sauce, received two chicken HSP’s with hot chilli sauce and garlic sauce. Easy mistake. Partner settled for his but very kindly swapped mine over. Received my new HSP with sweet chilli sauce, but this time it was mixed with coleslaw?? I thought I was going crazy but the coleslaw was definitely in there. I do understand that food can sometimes get mixed together in a busy environment but we found coleslaw throughout the entire HSP. Ended up throwing it out after taking two bites. Have taken photos just in case. Waste of $12.50. Even more disappointing as the first time we had visited we received great service and great food, so we definitely weren’t expecting that.

Great food and service, very friendly staff member (Harry) prepared my food quickly whilst also maintaining a positive conversation. Chicken was great, nice and moist and the chips were cooked to perfection. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat.

Ordered the chicken HSP. Chicken is super dry and very minimal amount of chips. Not worth $12.50 iv ordered at other places and paid less for a huge amount iv not been able to finish. I was still hungry after this meal. Wont be ordering again

The best local charcoal chicken and chips, amazing fried chicken.

Staff are rude and do not comply with health regulations. There are roaches under the refrigerators and counters. The chicken is not from layonica as they advertise. It comes from a dirty graffitied van that also does not comply to health regulations. Food is often over cooked or been sitting for sometime. Give this place a miss. Your wallet and health will be better for it.

Amazing food prepared fresh daily! The owners are fantastic and I would know, I used to work there when I was in high school, years later so did my brother. I can't rave about this place more highly!!

SHOCKING CHICKEN AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. All the staff are very unenthusiastic, lazy and clearly do not want to be there, it makes me feel uncomfortable. The chicken is always over cooked and dry. They use to be very good chickens, however the food standard is very poor. If you want a chicken and chips/ salad drive  2 mins down the road to Carrum, much better customer service and better quality.

Fairly decent charcoal chicken here. Tasty and flavoursome and not dried out. <br/>Chips are always hot, fresh and crispy. Best with chicken salt. <br/>Large range of fresh salads, my favourite being the chicken and avocado. <br/>Prices are little more than standard ie a small chips is $3.90 where as most places you pay $3.50.

Great food and service with a smile all the time! <br/>Have never had an issue here. I am a regular customer and couldn't be happier with this shop.
