Review Pennant Hills Cafe - Pennant Hills

Great schibello coffee and food. Decent prices. Interesting interior decor.

Really gone downhill this cafe quality wise. The waitress has now turned pseudo chef and the food is VERY average. Processed ham and cheese used, bread slightly stale and cakes have usually been in their display a while. Such a pity as it’s nice and warm in there in Winter. Wouldn’t recommend- too many corners cut and owner is unfriendly to top it off.

Such a disappointing end to a lovely catch up with a very dear friend The owner was rude , delivered the wrong drink order( and abruptly exchanged it) Then when asked for information about bathrooms he was unhelpful then threw accusations that we didn’t listen to him !! He told us we had been in the CAFE for 2 hrs and only bought 2 coffees Although we actually bought 4 coffees , 2 milkshakes and a cookie and banana bread ….. I didn’t realise there was a new rule to make a specific spend per hour of attendance 😂 You are a cafe not a restaurant What did you expect ?? Regardless of this you were so rude yelling at us that I am wanting to tell everyone to bypass you - there are many more cafes in Pennant Hills Don’t visit this disgracefully rude one 😂

Great cafe in the local area. Food portions are large for the price. The freshly squeezed juice is really nice. The staff are great and service is fast. Plenty of seating inside with a some outside. Plenty of parking close by in the marketplace across the road.

Coffee and food was great and cafe has been expanded and updated since my last visit many years ago.

Dry overcooked thick piece of chicken, uneatable - served to me as a Chicken Schnitzel. When I talk to the staff, they said chicken is thick that's why have to cook extra, and to my surprise they haven't heard of meat mallet. No bread crumbs. Utter disaster. Ate chips and salad, as they weren't going to refund. Discounted $1.48 for returning uneatable piece of garbage chicken. Hated the place. Won't ever go back.

The best cafe in Pennant Hills - forget the rest and come here! The perfect start to weekends - we love our Sunday morning breakfast here. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is delicious, coffee is divine. We had fresh flowers on our table this morning. Love this place! I forgot to say that their omelettes are excellent. This is one of my favourite breakfast foods and I am very picky about them. This cafe gets it right every time.

Wow! The new owners are really great. I liked this cafe before but it is even better now. Simply amazing food, amazing service and great prices. Loved the fact that they were happy to slightly alter one of their specials of the day for my vegan daughter. A lot of places won't do that so she doesn't get the really interesting yummy dishes like me. But a simple swapping of an egg for avocado made this vegetarian dish vegan. And it was fantastic! Well worth visiting. Will definitely return again and again. Highly recommended.

Never Again. They couldn't get my order right except for the coffee. Bacon and egg sandwiches are not that hard to make. When you are paying $8.50/sandwich you want it cooked the way you want it not the way the Short Order Cook wants to make it. Had to take the sandwiches back. Got looks of confusion because I wasn't happy. Received an emergency call from work so couldn't wait for their second try. NO REFUND = NEVER AGAIN. This local worker will never darken their door step again. Feeling RIPPED OFF.

Cafe Latte was nice, rich flavours, so barista knows what they’re doing. Bacon egg roll was too dry for me on a slightly stale sweet bun - not to my taste. Service was good.

A disappointing big breakfast, leave the big
Plates behind because the meal looked even smaller than it was. Don’t offer sourdough as a toast option and then charge extra for it and the pricing was ludicrous. A regular coffee and breakfast $24. A real disappointing experience

Small and well rounded coffee. The menu has a respectable variety of food as well as creativity since you get mixing options, and man, this is rare. The food is very decent considering it’s price. Cafe totally meets my expectation. Definitely gotta come back.

Pretty good for a small local cafe that boasts a cheap menu across both breakfast and lunch. While the service was pretty slow (waited 20+ minutes for some pancakes), they were very delicious and great portion for the price. I also had the chocolate frappe but that wasn't as great, wouldn't recommend unless you like plain milk!
Will drop in again for a quick bite to eat!

I'm in Pennant Hills Cafe having a coffee and reading a book.

I'm so civilised.

The food was astoundingly good and the coffee is wonderful 😍❤️

This was a very quick drop in for a very quick bite. One meal and a coffee - in and out. Pennant Hills Cafe is a simple place that doesn't pretend to be what it isn't. It's a cafe - plain and simple. It does offer decent coffee and a good range of food choices. . On this occasion the food was simple too - toast with avocado, bacon and cheese. It was a good sized serving, with two pieces of toast loaded with topping. The quantity was good and the flavours were just as nice too. It filled the gap and was tasty - all that was wanted.

This was a last minute after a tiring play date and the staff were ready and waiting for us at 5 min notice. It does get busy even for weekday lunches as it's pretty popular with young moms.
The staff are friendly and pretty accommodating. They even put my huge stroller in the office without any fuss :) the food is simple and uncomplicated and this makes ordering for the LOs easier. Service is quick and they do have baby friendly plates.
I just ordered eggs on toast, coffee and baby chino for the LO. The eggs were good and non oily and the toast was just right and not burnt:)
The food around the table got a thumbs up.
We really liked this place and will definitely drop in next time there is a play date in Pennant hills👍🏻
