Review Chilli Jam Thai Restaurant - Penrith

Staff were friendly. Food is always so yummy and fresh here. First time trying the fried barramundi and I love how they cut it up into small easy to eat pieces. The soft shell crab is also very light and crispy. Everything was pretty tasty. A bit disappointed by the scallops as they were so minimal but overall, was very satisfied :) The seating and decorations around the restaurant are also very nice and give off that authentic feel. There is also a large outside seating area.

First time to dine here. Food looks pleasant and tastes delicious. Staff lacks customer service, from the staff who greeted us and shown where our table will be, getting and delivering our orders, they lack hospitality.

This place never disappointments. Always good food and service. Will go again and again.

This place never fails to impress. I have been numerous times and every time we visit friends, who live close by to this awesome restaurant, we always agree to go to back there. Thank you Chilli Jam for the best, most friendly service and for the most amazing tasting Thai food. Definitely going back soon.

Order chicken Thai curry and it was way too oily to a point where we had to scoop out the veggies and chicken to eat. Pad Thai was okay.

Popped in unannounced for dinner on a Monday night, was plenty of tables available. Large menu, and plenty of options for drinks as well. Pleasant atmosphere, mood lighting. Have been before & will be back - First rate.

The beef pad see ew was very nice. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavours were really delicious. Overall, good customer service and I had a nice experience here

first time ordering a couple meals from here lastnight (delivered) ...seriously ���� the food was on point .. amaaaaazing !! i would definitely recommend and will be back for more orders .

Firstly i cant compliment the service enough, our server was attentive and super helpful. I was there for my Birthday with a group of 8 and a twin pram which they were so happy to accomodate, the food came out extremely fast and as always was delicious! I would recommend for an entree if you want to try something new the Meang Cha Plu prawn on Betel leaf (i go there just for that) the red curry (another fav), massaman beef and Pak boon Fai Dang (vegie stir fry). When they brought out the cake they turned all the lights off and put a happy birthday song on and everyone sang Happy Birthday! It just made the experience even more amazing! Chilli jam makes me feel like im back in Thailand, with the food and beautiful people. Definetly would recommend to try it out ���

Hubby and I had a beautiful meal here. The desert was to die for. You have got to try the Black sticky rice & Thai custard. Happy to pay a bit more for a great meal. We will be back.

Has been a while since my last visit and I couldn't help but notice that there's a lot more tables and the noise level was crazy..but that could be expected for a Friday night where the buzz on Riley St seemed more like a night in the city! Didn't take me long to remember why it was so busy the food was amazing! All the dishes were lovely, but the Slow Cooked Massaman was extra delish and it's a great option for anyone that doesn't like spicey food. My Chilli Jam passion fruit cocktail was dangerously good (being that I could have drank them all night). Downside was that the meals were so filling that we had no room left for dessert! Won't wait so long for my next visit and will even take my (don't do spicey) kids now that I know there are options for them

The food was really good, the decor and atmosphere very pleasant. The staff were a bit nonchalant but that was okay given the quality of the food.

Food was nice, but absolutely no space, tables so close together, and not enough space on the tables for more than 2 dishes..we were so squashed as we had 4 dishes and rice with dishes basically on top of each other on the table and seated basically back to back

Excellent food.. but sadly terrible service.. staff having a hard time following simple instructions.. needs to improve customer service and attentive listening..

Went to Chilli Jam on Saturday for Lunch with a friend. The restaurant was not to busy and very peaceful. One thing they could change is having table service instead of ordering up at the counter as there was plenty of staff on shift just standing around. Presentation of entrée and mains were displayed nicely but was a little over price for what you receive. Definitely would recommend trying there milkshakes and Satay Chicken dish. ☺

Pork barbecue and papaya salad ... combination from heaven!! Chilli Jam always delivers. When we dined in last Friday one dish we ordered was not to par and it was replaced without much trouble.

Food was good. Tasty & fresh. Chilli Jam was kind enough to withhold the chilli from my Som Tum, however, there was a LOT of garlic in the mix! The Tom Kha Gai was 'different'... After travelling extensively throughout Thailand, I can't say I've ever had a Tom Kha Gai that was less coconut milk based & more like a reminder of Tom Yum... The Chicken in Oyster sauce was good, but had the least amount of chicken I've ever had in a Chicken in Oyster sauce. Vegetarian spring rolls were good, as was the Pad Thai!

many thanks for making my wifes 50th birthday dinner great :) we had 19 people on the saturday night, and the service was awesome. all the food came out quickly, and the staff were always around for drinks, couldn't ask for any better

The complimentry water could have been refrigerated The meals were a little cold when they came out, service was friendly Cold drinks from the fridge wasn’t very cold at all
