Excellent range of Indian dishes, many Gluten free options too ❤️. You could swap dairy for coconut milk too in the curries. We really liked/ enjoyed dinner here.

I will not recommend this place to anyone. Firstly the staff members took a long time to prepare the meals and when they finally arrived, it was cold and the food was not fresh, it tasted like as thought it was cooked a few days ago. The staff members were rude and were unhelpful. For example when I asked for a particular drink they said “Did you check the menu, why are you asking me such questions”. And they even over charged us so when I called the waiter and discussed how they got it mistaken, they rudely told us that the price was changed and it was not updated in the menu and after arguing with them they finally lowered to the correct price. Will not be ever coming back here again.

This restaurant by far serves the best Indian food ever! I have been to India and Singapore on business so I regularly eat Indian food in Australia and abroad. The best on the menu are butter chicken (second to none) and the Aloo Gobi. I find the owners are very friendly and accommodating and are willing to change the ingredients to a dish to suit our preference which I really appreciate. The only thing that really lets down the establishment BIG time is that there is a waitress who works there who is not very professional or friendly and quite clumsy. There is a young Indian waitress there who is always delightful so it is not her. My recommendation is to get better staff since this factor can really let down the business especially if it's a new customer's first experience. Also it would be a nice touch if there could be some nice Indian music softly playing in the background as I think it would add to the experience.

Really wonderful Indian. Got dinner from here on recommendation from a local coeliac community group as a great restaurant to eat at GF and was really thrilled with the quality and taste of the food. A lot of love goes into these meals and the owner was so nice.

Our favourite Indian restaurant. We go there whenever we can. Friendly staff, delicious food. Feel like we are family when we go there. Their Lamb Saag is to die for. Scarily green, it is a taste explosion! Not to be missed.

This is legit one of the best Indian restaurants in Penrith. Small but welcoming place, staff and owner are always so friendly and attentive! The food has never let us down, the menu is great and has a large variety of dishes to choose from! My best friend and I are always down to come here for a beautiful Indian feed :)

Ordered food from this place a few times now and I have to say I have a new favourite Indian restaurant in Penrith. Outstanding. Takes at least half hour for order to be ready but it’s well worth the wait.

Ive eaten here a number of times and never been dissapointed. We are real food lovers and can say with out a doubt this food is awsome!! Made with love and passion. Beautiful curries, flaversome spicey protien dishes love the paneer! I definately recomend taj for your next indian meal :)

Nice food but it took over half an hour for wine glasses to even come out. Severely understaffed as a small family run restaurant but food was really great if you don't mind an hour and a half wait. .
