Review Windy Sushi - Penrith

Everything turned up cold. They deliver everything with 98% rice and very little anything else. Ordered specific food to avoid allergies. Food arrives with the exact thing the person order is allergic too, tuna, called them to rectify, said to re-order and take it up with the delivery service. The delivery was fine it was the restaurant was all wrong. Blaming another service for your mistakes is not ok. Food cold and undercooked. Food was made to not even standard measurement - price and value? Shocking and disgusting. So many people warned us not to order with this restaurant for this reason, decided to be our own judge….should have listened to the advice given. Terrible customer service when called about the issue. All issues about this has been reported to the relevant parties (restaurant taking no blame for making the wrong items and happily blame everyone else) What a joke. When your customer calls saying all is undercooked and you say “blame the delivery driver” We waited for over an hour and still it’s undercooked and the delivery driver is at fault? Bro! You undercooked the food and the delivery driver just brought what was supposed to be correct. Own up. Those who take 0 responsibility are those who have 0 morales and 0 ethic. Let’s see what the reports come back and say. DISGUSTED!

I have to say for a meat eater like myself who also love corn. This cha shiu ramen I ordered is perfect size and priced accordingly. Been a long time since I finish a whole bowl of Ramen. But it's very good and family run. Support your local shops! Thumbs up! 👍 will visit again 😊

Food is not clean, portion is small. Also, food is not good, ramen is salty and taste like MSG. Sevice is bad, the girl just throw the cutlery on the table. Definitely won’t come back again.

Friendly family business with good service and affordable prices but not authentic Japanese food. Rice and vinegar ratio is way off.

My family have been ordering food from Windy Sushi regularly for a few years now because their Laska is delicious but I will not order from them again after what they did tonight! I placed an order at 6.30pm via door dash. The order was confirmed by windy sushi at that time and we were provided with confirmation and that ETA would be around 7.30pm. We then got confirmation that the dasher was at the restaurant waiting for our order. At around 7.30pm windy sushi just cancelled our order out of the blue because they closed😳. So we had to order elsewhere and now have to wait another hour for their delivery. Bad form windy sushi!!!😡we ordered 1 hour before you closed and you confirmed the order. I will never use you again no matter how good your food is-you don’t treat good customers like that!

Love this place. The chicken rice bowl is awesome.

Had this for dinner tonight. Probably the best sushi rolls I've had. Freshly cooked and rolled. Just perfect.

I have been here twice, and on both occasions, I enjoyed the "Combo Seafood Laksa". (one of favorites) and this is the best I have had in the Penrith area. Will dine there again and also suggest this place to my friends. Good food and well priced. Is good to have a nice Japanese Restaurant in Penrith, will try their Pho next time, as reviews are positive.

Love eating sushi here !! Especially before a trip to the candy store just a few shops down.

The decor and feel of the restaurant is great! Puts off that Japanese/asian theme and is a nice cosy atmosphere for a quiet lunch.

The service is great ! The lady is very friendly and makes fresh rolls with special instructions e.g inside out rolls with no problem in a short time.. dishes ordered from the back are also prompt to come out!

Food, the food is amazing for a little sushi place in penrith ! The Pho is sooo tasty and aromatic and constantly good and packed with meat, the sushi is also yummy and is better when made fresh by the lady. The chicken buns are the best in penrith and a must try.....

Overall it is a great little place for lunch with reasonable prices, would recommend any day of the week.

Moving to Penritg from living in a suburb near cabramatta, I thought I would never find a good pho locally. The search is over ! Consistently delicious phô (Vietnamese beef noodle soup). Incredibly affordable. Does home delivery to nearby suburbs also.
