The most delicious pies I have ever eaten (particularly the Steak and Kidney pie) from when I was a kid to my adulthood now. Crust pastry is soft and buttery, the pie top pastry is flaky and crispy and the filling is generous and so so yummy. Whenever I have a pie from this place, it always brings b
2nd time in a month I’ve thrown my pie in the bin. This time a foreign object was inside (3” piece of string) I let them know and told them how disappointed Dong would be. Won’t be going back. It’s rubbish now.
Great little suburban bakery. Famous for its award winning pies. I had a steak and mushroom and wanted 2 more! Highly recommended. Pies are great value and cost about $5 each. Enjoy!
I ordered a chunky meat pie. The filling was good, although the chunks were a little dry. Not stingy with the meat. Honestly, the pastry wasn't firm enough for me, I like mine with a bit of snap on the bottom, and good lift on the top. The pastry was good, and fresh, though. I also ordered a custard
Had a lovely steak, cheese and bacon pie today. Pastry absolutely delicious and crispy! Loads of chunky beef inside that was so soft it just melted in your mouth and the bacon pieces were large! Would definitely come back for another pie from this shop!
Chicken & mushroom pie very salty, hardly any chicken. Mostly macaroni inside. Steak & mushroom pie average. Custard tart obviously frozen at some point. Filling very bland and pastry soggy. Better food up the road at Kingswood Bakery
Really good pies, I’d go back for more in a heartbeat. Pastry was perfect!
Your pies are not as good as they used to be, I’ve been going there since I was 5, I WILL NEVER EVER, EVER BYE PIES FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN
