Review Jamaica Blue - Penrith

Just bought a ham cheese croissant for $10.50 wow. The lady asked if I wanted it toasted. I said no. She said so u want it fresh I said yes. Got my croissant took my first bite. It tasted about 2-3 days old. This is also after she microwave it for bout 10 sec. And $10.50 for "fresh". I went to the other cafe that was open in the same Plaza on the other side. It was half the price and it was fresh. Be careful when ordering from here as the price does not match food quality.

Disappointed with the coffee from here. Almond milk can be hit and miss depending on what brand is used and Milk Lab is by far the best. Although they have Milk Lab cartons sitting proudly on the counter top and even an orange Milk Lab jug, don’t expect your coffee to be made with it. Instead, they use Vitasoy which tastes like water in my opinion. 2 stars for the pastry and treat selection though.

Service was friendly and fast but $10 for a bad ham & cheese croissant is too much. It did not taste fresh and there was not enough cheese which was not melted properly. Coffee is also too bitter.

Good coffee and decent cakes just need to keep the cheesecake cooler in the display fridge
