Review Starbucks - Penrith

Coffee was so good!!! Spelt my name right!!!! Service could have been better

My 13 yr old Granddaughter and her friend had a movie/shopping/school holiday day today. They were both so excited. While waiting for the movie they went to Starbucks Penrith Plaza - no idea why, but she thinks Starbucks is pretty special. They each bought a $25 clear plastic reusable slushy/drink cup and when they went to the check out were asked "would you like a drink with that" - they thought they had to pay extra - had no more money between them so said "no thanks". Could not one of your staff explained that they were entitled to a drink in their cup for no charge ?? Even her 12 year old brother knew that. Very poor performance and a rip off of two young girls who should have been told they were entitled to a drink each. Won't be back.

Honestly love this starbucks and the employees who work there. Dont know how I havent written a review yet but this is, by far, one of the best Starbucks I have ever been in. Made great lifetime friends and honestly sometimes just come in to say hi to the employees. You're all amazing especially under all the pressure on busy days xx

Ordered a LF chai latte for $6.60 tastes like a boiled water and cinnamon. Not worth money and not even tasted like chai latte. I thought of refund but was too late for work. I hope you will take this positively and make us happy with improvements.

Update: this has greatly improved. Bumped up from 2 to 3 stars. Will increase again if it continues to improve. Original: This is barely even a Starbucks. Dirty, covered in flies, no air conditioning. We literally couldn't sit here for more than a couple minutes because it was so uncomfortable and flies wouldn't stop attacking our drinks. People go to a Starbucks for the clean cool familiar environment. This one is a waste of a great location and a detriment to the brand. Please bring this up to the Starbucks standard.

Asked if they had pumpkin spiced latte and was told yes but was given a soy latte. I later returned to get what i had ordered and was told they do not have pumpkin spice atm. As i only purchased it because it was a pumpkin spiced the young and helpful lady gave me a full refund and apologied for the mistake. This one star is for her. As i did notice the barristas snickering, realising this must of not been the first time. Better training please for new employees and provide support so they do not feel ashamed to ask.

Always good service and food. Today the staff were all lovely!

It's Starbucks so standard. They had no decaf when I ordered so that was a negative. otherwise standard.
