Friend's Chinese Restaurant - Penrith - Photo album

My favourite Chinese restaurant in the area! I always order this fish with ginger and shallots sauce and side of rice 😍They de-bone it so skilfully too👌🏾 *updated with more images. Taste is still >
Celebtated my 70th birthday there. They should allow BYO spirits as I would not have minded paying corkage. Overpriced drinks. However service and food was excellent!
They were very busy but the food is super fresh, hot & delicious. Will be going back again.
Very disappointing. Ordered a meal for over $100 as it was my mums first night home after 6 weeks in hospital. Food was awful. Chicken and corn soup had no chicken pieces and was gel…completely inedible. Sweet and sour pork was awful with lots of grizzle. Prawns and veggies had the gel sauce again.
I’ve tried happy in a few times now and after this last experience I won’t be going back. Out of 3 times the food was “average” once. First time the Satay chicken was watery and no taste with the container only 3/4 full. Second time was satay prawns which were average but not worth the 24 dollars
Without a doubt, the best Chinese food in Penrith! My family and I have been getting dinner here years, and we have never had a single bad dish. Absolutely outstanding, delicious, and worth every dollar.
OMG haven't been for about 10yrs as we moved to QLD. What a great place to enjoy an old time favourite. Loved every morsel. The fried rice is bloody awesome 👌. Prawn cutlets are still huge. Wish we could bundle this restaurant up and take back to QLD
Food is hit and miss. Some orders are tasty and worth the money, others are just not edible. Tonight, we threw nearly $60 worth of food out. Rice was burnt and dry, dim sims barely cooked and vegetables in meal were basically raw. Disappointing as it is quite expensive !!
