23Dec2019 : The food we ordered are excellent, service, is good and ambiance is very good. I like their hand wash station that is outside the toilets. What I do not like is the use of bare hands in preparing the burger.
The burgers are so good and even the milkshakes, will definitely come back to this very amazing place, the fries and the burgers are definitely worth buying!
This place deserves most credit its consistency is on point. The ribs are always perfectly cooked and smothered in the most delicious bbq sauce. Oh and the milo thick shake I could have 24! Love love love!
Oh yes! One of 3 of my absolute favorite burger places in Perth. I only think that if they slightly make their burgers a bit better they might be more competitive, however, I love these burgers!
Pleasantly surprised by the food here, wasn’t that busy on Saturday night. We had the Pork St Louis, Wagyu Original burger, kid size beef burger and chips, kid size chicken tenders and chips. Wagyu burger was to die for, beef was so tender and literary melted in your mouth. Ribs was nice but a tad salty. Kids love their meals, overall a great meal at R&B. Will be back for more.
Really nice pork ribs and beef ribs that came off the bone so easily, really juicy, and tender. Though it felt like the portion did not seem to be big enough for 4, we also shared another angus beef burger that was actually a good choice, well cooked and tasty!
Come here several times and never get disappointed. I love the beef ribs. The seasoning is awesome and the ribs are properly tender. I also ordered chips with the spicy mayo dip and the dip sauce is turn up to be another hero of the plate. The milkshake here also really good. Beef ribs and nice milkshake obviously cant go wrong. It was super
Been to this place a day before yesterday early in the evening for snacks but ended up having our dinner there. We order the smokey ribs, salad, caramel milk shake and a few beers.
It was just delicious, out of the world.
Love the food and the ambiance.
Finally got around to trying this place! The grilled chicken burger was not bad at all! The chicken was juicy and the burger buns were soft. The St. Louis pork ribs were really tasty and chips were crispy. Tastes even better when you add the extra mayo and bbq sauce
Been here a few times. I always order the mushroom burger which is easily the best veggie burger I’ve eaten. I would recommend skipping the onion rings on the burger as they can be really greasy. The milo milkshake is so indulgent and delicious, worth getting 1 between 2. Be prepared to wait to order/get a table.
Went here for dinner, order Pork Ribs, Burger, Steak and potato fries. The Ribs are the best, the burger is Okay, but the Steak is below expectation (too hard like overcooked). The salad and potato are Okay. price reasonable. Overall is good.
Service was good, staff were very cheerful and kind. They also walk around past the tables a lot and check how everyone’s going and in case anyone needs anything and I don’t know about anyone else but I appreciate small things like that. Also the food was delicious!! Will definitely be coming back.
Worth the wait in the line out the front. Wagyu burgers were delicious. St Louis ribs were perfectly cooked, fell off the bone.
Took a while for the shakes to come out but I’ve gotta say they blow all other shakes out of the water. They definitely were ‘thick’ shake, vanilla malt seems to be the best flavour according to the people I was with.
Would definitely come back again.

Great food
Amazing manager
Great service
Only problem is small serving size of fish
I ordered full rack ribs which were brilliant and perfect size
Wife got fish which was very small
been here twice and i need to leave a review. everytime i visit the food is absolutely amazing. staff a great and very fast with service and with the cleanliness of tables. saturday lunch was very busy but didn’t have to wait long to be served. go for the burgers can’t wait to start trying the ribs. will be returning :)
Pork ribs, wagyu burger and best chips! Just amazing... great service, great food and nice place!!!! Friendly stuff, I’d come back every week
I have been here about a dozen times.
The burgers and fries are consistently good. I quite like the way they do their onion rings (thinly, and much better value than Jusburgers) and they have learned to go easier on the salt.
I am yet to try the ribs but will do so soon.
So why only 3.5 stars? Because most times I have been, the queue to order has been longer than it should be only because there is usually only one person on the till, despite them having two tills.
I have gone elsewhere a few times just because of this when I’d rather have a burger. I hope management take more notice of the queues so that customers can be seated more promptly.
The baby back pork ribs were amazing!! Had to line up for 10mins over a lunchtime period which went fairly quick & food was about 15min wait.
Will be going back for more ribs & the burgers looked delicious!
Highly recommend this place for amazing, deliciously, tasty, finger licking, falling off the bone ribs!!!!! Hands down the best tasting ribs I've ever had! The sweet potatoes fries were also really yummy only they were a little cold by the time they got to our table. The service however was quite slow, we waited 30mins before our food arrived and there were other tables getting food before us even though they had arrived after us!
Went at 5pm and got a table easily. Ribs were nice, chilli chicken wings were really spicy so dont get them unless you can handle the heat! Nice fuss free place to get a ribs fix.
We hit Ribs & Burgers on a Friday afternoon because the partner had a craving for onion rings and I'd always wanted to try the place. Friendly staff took the order quickly for a serving of the craved rings, a Southern Fried chicken burger and a couple of thick shakes.
The food arrived, albeit slowly but we were kept waiting for the shakes for a while. Given we're the sort of people who'd have loved our drinks with the food, this meant our food kept losing temperature while we politely waited for the shakes. Also, the onion rings are not rings but they're shredded battered onion pieces, seasoned and deep fried. No complaints with how it tasted, it was good, but we expected rings when we saw rings on the menu. No complaints with the burger as well, it tasted great!
A little snappier service and probably delivering on whats on the menu and they'd get my 5 stars. I'd definitely recommend them for a hunger fix though - good portions and tasty grub!
P.S - We ordered Milo thick shakes and they were huge! Excellent and thick, they were almost a meal by themselves, if you're of the habit to share a big drink, I'd say get one to share among two!
WAGYU BIG CHEESE (200G) American cheese, pickles, caramelised onions, mustard & Aunty Joan’s pink sauce ($15.90). WAGYU CHIMMI & SWISS (200g) Lettuce, spanish onion, Swiss cheese, egg, onion jam, chimichurri mayo ($16.90). WAGYU TOWER (200g) Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, crispy onion rings, BBQ & Aunty Joan’s pink sauce ($17.50)
First time coming here with a friend while visiting Perth, I asked my friend to bring our family to a burger place... Turned out this was really a good choice and the pork ribs were also nice... I wouldn't say that this place is cheap, but its allright for the taste we got... the sweet potato fries with the sour cream was great we can't have enough of them...
Pictured: bacon and cheese burger $14.50, pork baby back ribs (full rack) served with chips $34.90 and, beetroot and feta salad $9.90. Ribs and Burgers is a part of 140 – which is Perth’s food central. With a name like Ribs and Burgers, it has definitely been one of those places that I needed to try. I love burgers and I love ribs even more. My friend and I were long overdue for a catch up and decided to go here on a Tuesday nights after work. I was actually quite surprised by how busy the place was on a Tuesday night. The seating here is a tiny bit confusing. We sat down and did not realise that you needed to order at the counter first before being seated because we had entered through the side door and signage isn’t very obvious. We were told to give up our table and order at the counter first which was fine. We decided to order the bacon and cheese burger, a full rack of pork baby back ribs and beetroot and feta salad to share. We were showed to a different table and then later told by staff that our original table was available. So we moved back. A booth then became available so we moved again! Talk about musical chairs restaurant style!
Solid burgers with good ingredients. Service is prompt and attentive. Bit on the pricier side of food however is a good dining experience I suppose. Spicy mayo is free and comes as a bottle on each tale which is really good (I love my spicy mayo lol).
Ribs & Burgers is definitely a must to visit. Although the queue to order is usually long, the wait is usually worth it! My husband and I visit often. He usually orders the Ribs and chips, which he finds to be succulent and tasty. The chips are some of the best I have tasted in Perth! I usually order the spicy chicken wings, which are very spicy, fresh and delicious. The onion rings are an amazing addition, even my onion loathing husband enjoyed! However when we visited recently on a Friday night just before 8pm we were told they had run out of onion rings and milkshakes, which was a shame. However I definitely recommend visiting Ribs and Burgers!
The burger was delicious and I especially liked the bun, ut was soft and complimented the burger. I also had the sweet potato fries which were anazing and it came with a generous portion of sauce.
Customer service was minimal as we ordered at the counter and then were delivered our food and that was about it.
The prices are also reasonable for flavours of burgers. Will be coming back for the ribs.

First impression of this restaurant is not good, Thursday afternoon at 3pm and the place is not even half full and the queue at the counter is 5 deep because the ordering till has gone down !! We waited for approx 15mins before we got served and the girl who took our order ever so slow was not impressed, nor were we. Really felt this could have been handled a lot better and faster than her writing out your full order and adding up on calculator. (Maybe write a number that relates to each dish? (Or have a back up till ) especially when you take orders at counters . So basically service and first impressions not good . Rating for the food was very good, we really enjoyed the wagu burger with Chimi and Swiss cheese , moist and flavoursome. The chilli chicken wings ,were lovely and spicy , and a good size serve .
Besides the initial hiccup I think the food is worth the visit.
Best ribs in Perth. We had a really good night and the baby back ribs were absolutely delicious. Just fell off the bone! The burgers were also amazing. All round good vibe. Will be back!
It was pretty good experience. Good Food Good Service for a Reasonable Price. The wait is slightly long though if I have to be picky.
The steak was alright, we asked for medium rare and got almost medium well.
The lamb burger was okay.
The highlight of the night was the pork riblet. Absolutely juicy and yummy.
Good ribs- ordered from deliveroo. Nice and fatty, but I wanted more sauce. Hit the spot for ribs though and they're chips are decent! Will be back
Tried the pork ribs and the beef ribs today. Really good! Meat falling off the bones. I personally preferred the pork ribs over the beef ones but really good nevertheless. Packed full of flavor! Nice ambience, quick service. Polite waitresses. What else could you have asked for really!
I ordered the beef ribs and chefs slider and both tasted delicious. This place has fast service so you don't have to sit around for ever. Make sure u get one of their thick shakes
This place is amazing. My partner and I absolutely loved the wagyu with cheese burger. Even the chips were a 10/10. Everything was good quality, top notch delicious! The atmosphere is good and staff are friendly. It's nice to dine in a clean restaurant so thank you.
What a great place. Ribs falling off the bone, burgers full of flavour nice and juicy, sweet potatoe fries yum. Milo thick shake was actually thick and that pinky coloured sauce was delicious. The wings were massive nice and meaty. There was the tick of approval from my little one who got right stuck into the wings and fries. The waiter was accomodating when I asked if we could be moved from a table in the sun to one inside. All in all great place, I would recommend and will be visiting again soon
YUM!. We went on a Friday night (about 6pm so it wasn't too busy). I had the crispy chicken burger and hubbie had the Aussie burger (he was so happy there was beetroot!). We also ordered chips and the famous vanilla thickshake. The service was quick, the burgers delicious and the thickshake was like having dessert. Will definitely return
The ribs were so good we ordered a second rack! The smoky bbq ribs was a little too sweet for me but the chili ribs and lemon ribs were just right. Sweet potato fries was nicely seasoned. Staff were friendly.
Came here today with my work crew for a farewell lunch. I've been wanting to come here since it opened and finally today i got the chance. I expected more from the restaurant... It was kind of dirty and the ground seemed slippery. There wasn't as many menu options as i thought however i ordered the Southern Fried Chicken burger and a side of sweet potato chips with aioli. The sweet potato chips were really yum but the aioli tasted like plain whole egg mayo. My burger had good flavour although the chicken didn't look as appealing as the picture as it seemed to have little to no crispy batter. Everyone else around the table were pretty satisfied with their meal. This is a good in and out restaurant similar to Varsity. Thanks!
I definitely give credit for their baby ribs and fried sweet potatoes. food waiting time wasn't long and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Warmth remind, bring on more friends when visiting as this restaurant definitely is a good place to Hangout.
This place is great! Location is right in the middle of the
Perth city (perfect for weekdays lunch) and I think they are one of the better “American-style”
places out there. The ambience is definitely casual, the burgers are not
pretentious, if you are looking for those American style foods, you will be
satisfied! To start with, we had the Chook Wings (both BBQ and chilli) and they
are good! For main, we recommend the old cheese style burger and baby back pork
ribs which I think they are very yummy! The chips and boneless ribs are a good
one to try! Overall, had a really good experience and food despite a busy night
and we will definitely come back.
Found this place when my partner was having a massive burger craving and our first choice place
was closed. There were lots of customers seated, so we thought we would give it a try.
I ordered the Old School Cheeseburger (just like what the name says), chips on the side and a milo thick shake. The burger size was just right for me, and the small chips to share was just enough for the two of us. Milo thick shake was quite nice, big portion and filling. I would definitely come back to try other choices on the menu and the ribs.
My only downside was the pricing was a bit steep for just a single burger, rather than a burger meal (i.e. with chips or salads on the side). It does have a more higher class feel than your regular burger joint, maybe that's what we are paying for, as well as a good floor manager who was attentive to customers coming in.
I ordered the Crispy Chicken Burger, a side of chips, and the vanilla malt thick shake. I'll begin with the service here. We were greeted and welcomed by the floor manager who guided us through the process of ordering and finding a seat. The service was excellent from queue to leaving the restaurant. Food was served in minutes and we did come during the lunch rush hour.
Now to the food. The burger was just right. Not too big and not too small. The mayo and onions complimented the chicken really well and did not require any further seasoning. The chips were crispy and well cooked (not soggy like some other places). The thick shake was a THICK SHAKE. Flavours were all very nice but it was a very full meal.
My only downfall was the price for the meals. It ranges from $20-25 per person which is in the higher end of burger prices (comparison to Grilled D and V Burger). Overall though, a 7/10 for me (3/5).
I will definitely have to come back again to tackle the ribs and who knows, my review might change again...
Great place to go if you have a craving for a bit of meat. A no frills eatery, with good quality meat and delicious sauces. Tried the Pork Louis Chilli ribs with a mini chicken burger. My partner went the Butchers original burger. For the money your spending, the portion sizes are on the money...just wishing i went the full rack instead of the half. The chilli sauce on the ribs had just the right amount of chilli, and my partners burger was juicy, with great tasting sauces as well. She only wished the burger would come with fries as well.
Been here twice now. Tried a few things. Both ribs and burgers are good but the best thing of all is the vanilla malt shake. Dont be queer, get a thickshake here

It is a nice place and the service is good. We had a beef burger The bacon & cheese and some chilli barbecue half rack ribs. Delicious. Filling but not sickly. Definitely recommended.
Absolutely smack bang in the middle of city, so don't expect to find parking easily. Public transport to this location is the way to go.
Food are pretty decently cook. Slightly too salty for my liking but the taste is good. Burgers are very good. Need to go thru the menu one by one in coming future.
Service from the team are excellent. Look for Royce. He has great PR skills.
An excellent eatery for your simultaneous craving for both dishes, Ribs and & Burgers provides succulent carnivorous meals (and also some salads if you prefer). I went with a larger group so seating was a bit difficult to find, but staff were very helpful to provide what we required. We had the opportunity to have a taste of almost every flavour of ribs offered, each of them delivering or exceeding expectations. I believe I am already overdue for a revisit!
The place is located inside Globe Lane alongside other restaurants. What surprised me about the place was they they offered different cuts of ribs. They offered riblets, St. Louis and Baby-backs. The different ribs did have slightly different sauces which made it nice to share. It was surprising that they were out of the shakes though. They also had a rib and burger combo if you were extra hungry. Nicely BBQ'd meats and nice staff.
Good quality tasty burgers. The chips are awesome and the vanilla malt thickshake is amazing (and almost a meal in itself). Ribs looked good so I think we'll be back to give them a try too.
Great ribs and burgers. Good service from friendly staff. Always go there for that 'cheap' special occasion. Conveniently located in the CBD.
One of the best ribs place in town!! Last time we visited, we ordered baby back ribs, onion rings, and a burger. All tasted good. Staff were nice and friendly. Fast service. Price is reasonable :)
Friday night gets really busy and you will have to line up for a table.
Been 3 times now and food just taste better all time always great taste and filling but think they need to increase size restaurant as so popular and busy every time being there keep up great food and I be back

Always love coming back to Ribs and Burgers for a good slab of ribs! Doesn't matter if it is for dine in or take away. We had the ribs for take away for Christmas Dinner. It was the winner! Meat is tender and falls of the bone. Flavour of them ribs are amazing. Definitely coming back for more.
Customer service here is always excellent. And they have gluten free options. The pork ribs are excellent!
However, today I tried the lamb ribs and wish I hadn't. They tasted great, but were full of fat, which wouldn't wash of my fingers without a large amount of soap, and salt. And the meat that I ate left me feeling ill.
No pictures unfortunately...
Ribs and burgers has very good service. The staff are polite and the food was amazing. I was satisfied with it all. The drinks took a little longer than expected but that wasn't too much of a fuss.
The ribs were cooked to perfection and the environment was poppin . This place is one I'll definitely be coming back to and recommending to others !!!
I was really looking forward to eating here given my favourite two foods in the world are ribs and burgers. The burgers were delicious, well presented and the perfect size. I would highly suggest avoiding the lamb ribs. For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to order them for something different... I was wrong.
Love love loveee this place the ribs are so good and the burgers too! I'm slightly health conscious so I ordered the seedy coleslaw which was sooo good. However, the portion was too much for one person to handle. (Well, me at least) overall, reasonable price, good ambience and good food. Defs recommend

Visit this restaurant regularly. Small yet comfortable dining area and economical prices. The ribs are cooked well and the staff are busy yet friendly. I like the fact you can help yourself to the condiments and table water, great location right next to the train station. I would recommend getting there early, very popular place and queues are common. Best ribs I have had in Perth for the prices.
My 2nd dinner in Perth was at Ribs and Burgers, which Joy had recommended for the strange, blue Mutant Burger. I was lucky to have tried it because it was the last day they were serving it. With blue buns the same shade as Mystique’s shapeshifter skin, the burger sandwich is a a promotional item for X-men Apocalypse. It also contains spicy, breaded-and-fried chicken topped with bleu cheese.
Always come here regularly to eat the beef ribs. The taste and the quality is consistent every time. Beef is always tender and juicy. The service is always quick.
CHILLI LAMB RIBS. I don't really need to say anything else. What everyone needs to do is go and try it unless you can't handle spicy food. It's flavourful, it's juicy, it's hot. It's everything you want when you go to a rib house. The meat just falls of the bone!
If I'm being honest, their burgers are average and not worth the money - they're not bad, but they're nothing special.
But their ribs, oh my god! The meat of their ribs are super juicy and their portions are quite generous! Normally I'd always order fries as my side, but whenever I eat at Ribs & Burgers, their onions rings are a must! They're like no other! Their thin, stringy (almost noodle-like), crispy, and the best way to eat them in my opinion is to stick a fork well into the bucket of onion rings, dip the forkful of onion rings into their delicious ranch, and then drive that forkful of a prize into your mouth! Trust me, it tastes bomb! Even if you're not a big fan of onion rings, you should still give these a try because the onion flavour is actually quite subtle! (Unless you really hate onions).
Besides the fact that their burgers are little overpriced for tasting like average burgers, I would definitely recommend this place for their ribs! Come to Ribs & Burgers whenever you're building up a large appetite and love getting your fingers a little greasy!
Good burgers, so tasty and yummy Angus patty.
Chicken wings are so good! Ribs...i would say i expected it to be more tender and fall off the bone. But they are very tasty. The waitresses were a bit unfriendly though. Good hospitality will be a better experience.
Sunday lunchtime visit with a group of four. I tried the naked chicken burger as I'm currently shredding but someone wanted burgers so there went. The naked chicken was delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone else enjoyed theirs too; vege burger, wagyu beef burger and smoky beef ribs with slaw. The drinks runner was slow, it took over 20minutes before the drinks (bottled drinks I will add) came out. He got the orders mixed up a few times but got there in the end. Will be back to try a "real" burger once I'm done shredding.
Amazing food and service manager noticed we where cold so gave us 2 heaters to make sure we where nice and warm :) can honestly say most people wouldnt care but am verry happy that the staff at ribs and burgers do :)
Ordered baby back ribs and the st louis ribs. Both was tasty and had that nice smokey taste! Ribs were soft but not really melt in your mouth. Good value for money but def love hurricane's more 😁 chips was crispy, not a big fan of the slaw though
Every time I walk past Ribs & Burgers I think to myself, damn, I keep meaning to go there but I’ve just eaten. I just haven’t managed to get in until now. We were walking through the alley way on our way back to the car and having not eaten while in the city, I thought tonight is the night we are going to go to Ribs & Burgers.
Definitely only come here for the ribs and burgers. The onion rings were delicious. Thin and salty, the way I like it. The fish was overcooked and the chicken too dry. Ribs were flavourful and tasty.
One of my fave Ribs & Burger joints in PERTH CBD area... It's located in the 140 Laneway... It's also busy & full of bright lights & people. If you want to feel like your not in Perth.. You should experience "Ribs & Burgers" ... I love there Chicken Wings!!! Full of Flavour & Super Juicy but without that a "Fatty"... Taste.. All come with Ranch Sauce. I also love there " Pocket Burger" I love there tasty Moist Butter bread bun & there salty AMERICAN cheese & meat patty!! Missy_K
Friendly staff and very nice location, tried it a few times and I think it's worthy to try.
Mince is fresh but pink inside as they mentioned in their menu, so if you like it cooked different way needs to let them know
Ribs are good too
Burgers are normally good, ribs delicious :) it can be a bit hit & miss though with the service. Gets super busy lunch and dinner so come early
What can i say! The serving size is fantastic! Ribs and slides are so worth the price! Ive always enjoyed my time here with my friends! But if you're not too hungry or dont want to eat a lot(like me), i suggest ordering just the chicken wings with a side of chips! Youre welcome ;)
Checked out his place for lunch on a Monday, wasn't too busy and we scored a seat in a booth.
I had the full rack of Pork sticky soy chilli peanut ribs. It was so delicious, falling of the bone with just the right amount of caramelisation. I couldn't taste any chilli though. The chips were good too and I absolutely LOVED the chilli mayo sauce! I wanted to take the bottle home with me! My friend had the original burger and he had no complaints.
I've eaten here 3 times now and each time the food has been amazing. I've always been used to Pork Ribs since I frequent Tony Romas and love their baby back ribs. On my first and third visit here, I've had the beef ribs which I actually like even better that the pork ones from both Ribs and Burgers AND Tony Romas.
I highly recommend trying them, you won't be disappointed.
What a beaut feed of ribs!! We had the smoky bbq pork ribs and chips. You have to try the orange sauce that comes to the table with you! To die for, I don't know what it is but it has so much flavour and freshens your pallete
If a burger is what you're after, it's unlikely you'll find better than Ribs & Burgers. I loved my 'vege patch' burger, which was HUGE and filled with a big fat field mushroom, crisp salad and grilled haloumi (haloumi is a salty cheese, but this one was probably saltier than usual. If you're not a salt fan, definitely pick a different burger). My dining partner had the sliders, which come. With chips. The slider burgers are very small so if you don't have a big appetite then this is a good option. The downfall of this place is that there's no table service. You have to stand in line for a while before you can order and sit down. They do have a dude making sure there's a table for you ready though. Note we didn't have the ribs, but the ones coming out of the kitchen looked amazing!.
I gotta say this is the best ribs I've tasted in Perth!! I came here with a friend to try the ribs after hearing glowing praises from here and they sure did not disappoint. My friend ordered her favourite sticky soy chilli peanut pork ribs and I had beef ribs and boy wasn't I glad I got my beef ribs!! The meat was so sooo super tender, falling off the bones and the amount of meat on those bones was unbelievable! It was so glorious and juicy and full of flavour I loved every single bite! The pork ribs were also delicious, with the crunchy peanut topping and that sticky sauce, although I found it a bit sweet and the chilli was non-existent. We also shared a serve of spicy chicken wings and OMG it blew our socks off. We're chilli eaters and my friend had tears in her eyes. We were surprised how well the chilli sauce worked with the wings and would recommend them to anyone who loves spicy food. Such a wonderful meal, sure it was on the pricey side but it was worth every cent!!!
went there on lunch time to avoid those crazy dinner diners where I walk pass by a night before, the outlet is pack with hungry diners.
tried their ribs, soft, tender and juicy, just as how I like it to be. Friendly staff.
Here goes my 'rib-view'- get it, rib +review 😉
Anyway, came here for lunch on a busy Friday keen for a good feed. Even though we had a large group, we were able to be seated without hassle or booking- greatly appreciated. Though be prepared for a line- the system here is a little different to normal. You order before you are seated, strange but it seems efficient. This also means separate billing is easy.
Food:
Our table got a selection of ribs (lamb, pork and beef) and a burger.
I'm currently in a rib-induced coma, purely because I couldn't stop myself from eating the entire delicious plate of ribs. The serving sizes are generous with a serving of chips or salad. The meat fell off the bone, accompanied by crispy chips and delicious BBQ sauce.
However, expect to pay ~24-30 dollars per person. Well worth it considering the taste and mess the staff will have to deal with once you're done- definitely not a first date location!
Let's not forget the thickshakes- it goes without saying, once you've already committed to such a meal you have to go the whole hog (excuse my pork pun) - they are absolutely yummy with the options of milo, vanilla malt or pavlova.
All in all, a great atmosphere, groovy music, ribs galore and I think I'm just about ready to hit the gym...
8/10
Ribs and burgers has to be the best place to enjoy a hearty meal with family, friends or by yourself 😋 I ordered the lamb ribs with bbq sauce, chilli wings and chips. The aroma when the ribs came out from the kitchen, instantly alerted my nostrils that this will be a good rib and I was right. The meat pulled off the bone so easily and it was cooked to perfection! Words can't describe how jam pack the flavour was infused into the meat. Chilli wings were too spicy for my palette and I needed to refill my glass of water because I was on fire the whole time. I wish it wasn't really spicy because the chicken was fine. Next time, I recommend another flavour of wings so you can avoid a burning tongue. On the other hand, chips were fried to PERFECTION! Golden, crispy and soft inside is the ultimate chip.
Always great, tender ribs at this place. I would definately recommend the baby back ribs to be the best ones there. The chips are great too and the onion rings are a must have! Lovely spot with a great atmosphere. The only disappointment is they are not able to serve alcohol and i always love a glass of red wine with my ribs! Perhaps they will be come liscenced one day. We have been a couple of times on a Saturday evening and there has been about a 15-20 minute wait which isn't too bad and always seems worth it!
Ideal spot for delicious ribs!! Luckily we came here early for lunch on a weekday , this place get totally packed by mid day.
We ordered the BBQ beef ribs sliders and the sticky soy chili peanut pork ribs. The ribs were tender and moist, absolutely delish!! The mini burgers were quite nice too.
Overall, we had a lovely dining experience here and totally recommending it. Food was great, good serving size and with a very reasonable price tag. The only downside was I found some of the staff members are not friendly at all and the drink list seems a bit pricey ( eg. $4 for a soft drink).
Yum their ribs are just finger lickin delicious! I think I'll be back again and again. One thing tho I do feel that its on the pricey side, but at least I dont have to go far for some good ribs. Bonus is their coleslaw isn't just straight mayo which is refreshing and light.
Ideal spot for lunch with a few mates or on your own. Good quality food, arrives hot and just as described. Nice little outlook towards Wellington Street, as it's located down the end of an arcade, off Murray Street mall.
It's small. You'd be lucky to get one of the few tables on a Friday.
Everytime I walk past Ribs & Burgers I think to myself, damn, I keep meaning to go there but I’ve just eaten. I just haven’t managed to get in until now. We were walking through the alley way on our way back to the car and having not eaten while in the city, I thought tonight is the night we are going to go to Ribs & Burgers.
I had the baby back ribs and my friend had the sticky bbq chili peanut spare ribs. We were absolutely blown away! Both ribs had unique flavours and they worked extremely well. We also got the chicken wings (half chilli half sticky bbq). Also absolutely amazing. I was so glad the chilli was actually spicy and@ not sweet. Salads could have been better though. But then, who goes to a rib joint for good salad? Overall great value. Definitely going back.
After such a poor ribs experience with Porkies in Bayswater I was feeling some trepidation in trying this place. However all fears were allayed once inside and I saw what was being served to hungry customers.
It was a bit strange to order your meal at the counter then find a place to sit - I would rather do things the other way around so that the menu can be properly scrutinised without holding up the queue of hungry patrons behind you. Anyway, this was not a big issue. I had a craving for ribs and ribs I ordered. Specifically a full rack of pork baby-back ribs. These come with a choice of fries or a salad - I opted for fries. For good measure I also went for an order of onion rings.
We chose a booth table with very comfortable seats. Subdued lighting and a wall of tastefully arranged meat grinders were the main 'style' elements. It sounds strange, but it works.
My mouth watered as I saw orders being taken from the kitchen to the tables. I didn't see one thing come out that I wouldn't devour in a heartbeat. Then it was my turn. Delivered on a now-so-trendy wooden board was a rack of glossy and beautifully basted ribs. Nothing else was on the board and nothing else was needed. This was pure unadulterated food-porn at its best! The fries and onion rings came in little metal buckets as not to distract one from the ribs. I really wish I had taken a photo, but all I wanted to dig in and get sticky!
The ribs were divine. Beautifully cooked, tender and flavoursome. Plenty of meat and no dripping fat - just what ribs should be. The fries were also very good - a decent portion that I could just not finish. The onion rings were good, but perhaps a little on the greasy side - but what should one expect it isn't exactly a health-food restaurant.
The only downsides as I saw it, and the reason for a 4.5 rather that a 5 are that there were no finger bowls or moisten towelettes provided with the ribs. The queue at the one sink in the men's room didn't do it for me. Secondly, I wished this place was licensed. There is simply nothing better than an icy cold beer with ribs.
In summary, this place is great. I will definitely be back, if not for ribs then for the ridiculously amazing looking burgers they make.
If you are a rib-person, then definitely give this place a try!
Fantastic ambience with great chicken wing and chips. The pork rib wasn't good, probably we ordered the odd flavour (sticky soy chili peanut).
The manager or waitperson was interactive and great service. :)
Delighted to have finally visited Ribs & Burgers.
I had the ribs, just putting it out there but they are high ranking on my list. The sticky sauce, the tender meat, well, it's just a perfect combination!
Loved my burger. I had the Cajun Chicken with Chilli Mayo. I was expecting it to be average but ended up really enjoying it. I think it is on par with Grill'd for quality and taste, and it is the same price as some of their burgers. Not sure about all the drinks, but my friend ordered a coke and that was $4, so it's a little pricey there. However, I would return here for the food.

Tried their limited time Apocalyptic Mutant Burger. I liked it. The chicken was cooked well and the flavour was nice, as I like chilli foods. What I really liked though was the colour, love the blue!
A good atmosphere. Ribs & Burgers chain has hit Perth and they have hit the right mark. Very tasty burgers and good ribs. Went here with a group of 8. Well managed service and fast enough and they'll be sure to have you rolling out of there.
Amazing ribs here! I'm totally hooked on these. They're also quite cheap considering the amount you get. Food-wise, this place is awesome. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 is because you can't book and you generally have to wait a while for a table / food in general during any kind of peak. Would not recommend Friday night at all, gets way too busy. If they let people reserve tables and eliminate the dodgy lining and waiting outside, it'll be perfect.
We lined up to make our order before taking a seat. I personally don't like this part of the dining experience. None the less, a very tasty menu which makes it hard to decide what to eat. I was very satisfied with my choice of Sliders and Ribs combo with a Milo Thickshake. I had one meat patty slide and one chicken slider. The chicken breast was awesome. The lamb ribs with lemon herb seasoning was so delicious and easily came off the bone.
We went for lunch today (Labour Day public holiday) and the place was seriously understaffed. There was only one waitstaff on the floor (along with another guy in a shirt we assumed was the manager). I have to give credit to the waiter though- He was incredibly efficient! Cleaning the tables, bringing out food, and seating the guests... We did see him occasionally having a hard time politely yet firmly telling some grumpy customers who were helping themselves to yet-to-be-cleared tables, explaining that it was a first-come-first-serve basis and that they needed to wait their turn (we think a nice big PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED sign at the cashier might've helped him out a lot).
Food-wise, we ordered two serves of the combo (ribs & sliders). We thoroughly enjoy the beef ribs a lot more compared to the pork- Juicy, sticky and succulent. The beef slider was good but the chicken one was dry and needed a bit more flavour and sauce as a slider. Salads were so-so but the chips were fantastic. Would definitely be back for more beef ribs!
I came here one friday evening around 6. There was already a line forming outside but it moved fairly quickly. The service was efficient and fast. My partner and I shared smoky bbq pork rib, wagyu burger and onion fries. The ribs came with a side of our choice. The staff recommended us the cabbage salad. The cabbage salad was literally cabbage with few slices of shredded apple but it was so boring.
The rib was tasty and moist and so was the burger. I would definitely like to come back to try the other dishes on the menu. The onion fires were really hard to eat. Its shredded onions fried up. They are all in small bits that we ended up leaving more than half behind.
There is a small basin next to the kitchen which is a nice touch for customers to wash up after eating the finger licking ribs.
The place doesn't take booking so be there early if you want to avoid the crowd. Also I didnt see any alcoholic beverages so this place might not have liquor licence yet? I could have just missed it.
My go to place for lunch in the Perth cbd. Have had a wide range of burgers and ribs from the menu.
Personal favorite is the half and half combo with ribets and sliders.
Appreciate the complementary sauce provided.
Couple of slight criticism are the lack of a large beverage option and music is too loud.
Had lunch with friends here on Saturday for lunch, according to my friend there's usually a line but luckily I got a table within a few minutes. I ordered the pork riblets with butchers salad. The pork riblets had great flavour, sticky and marinaded in a BBQ sauce. The salad was kind of soggy and drenched in the dressing so was quite average but I really enjoyed the ribs.

Waited in line on a Saturday night for 30minutes, but was well worth the wait, if you're on a health kick I recommend ordering your burger choice "naked" (strip the bun and replaced with lettuce leaf) was really amazing, I'm not a vegetarian but I absolutely loved the veggie patch burger. Also the whole menu was very reasonably priced!
We went here for lunch on Fri, the place are nearly full, and a small queue to order. Tried original burger and italiano burger with regular chips. The burgers are yummy, chips are ok but not special. The complementary sauce went well with the chips and burgers. Price wise is fine, around 10 bucks for the original. Wil come back again to this nice restaurant atmosphere.
Took the beau here for his birthday dinner - amazing. Affordable with huge servings that we couldn't finish our chips and salad!! I will be back...only downside is that we were both insatiably THIRSTY after the meal...I want to try some of the burgers and the other kinds of ribs!
I've heard quite a bit of negative reviews about ribs and burgers but my husband and I decided to try it anyway and decide for ourselves.. Each to their own, because my husband and I loved it!! We paid $60 between 2 people and we ordered quite a fair bit, and for the size of the ribs you get, I say price is worth it! Tastes amazing, my chicken burger was definitely spicy (had the chilli sauce) which is good because when most places say spicy you don't actually get spicy. The onion rings was my favourite, not too chunky, nice and thinly sliced and you get a good amount for what you pay. Will definitely be coming back!
The place is nice. Foods are awesome. A bit pricey but it's still worth it. Staffs are friendly. We order the slider and steak. My favorite is their fried onion ring.
Went here with friends. I had no expectations (as a vegetarian). IT WAS GREAT! I loved the Veggie Patch burger! And the chips were delicious and a generous serve! Everyone else seemed quite happy with their meals, from memory we ordered a cheeseburger and steak with coleslaw. Steak was a big serve and a little bit of a struggle to finish. Milkshakes were good and incredibly thick. I can't wait to go back again! :)
On a side note, the set up for ordering was a little confusing. We went for dinner and it was a bit confusing that we had to order as soon as we got to the counter before being seated. Many quick decisions on food and drinks were made.
My salmon & salad were nice, my companions naked falafel was also good. Wouldn't have minded a plate to eat my lunch off tho. I wasn't going after the bits of my lunch that fell onto the table from the silly wooden board. For the love of god what's with this movement to serve food on wooden boards? Is it even hygienic?
Shared two sorts of ribs with a mate, one soy and one smoky bbq. Both were perfectly cooked, sticky and tasty. Every time I've walked it's been crazy busy.
Went a number of weeks ago. Just really fun with reasonable food quality and quantity for price (you get a large serving with ribs). Gracious manager (I think) who was absolutely so kind to our very messy 16 month old nephew. Good service and will be going back!!
Been here twice and it's great. Tasty, good burgers and ribs, I liked the onion rings too. And they're reasonable price. Tried the sliders, wagyu burgers, pork ribs, and beef ribs. All consistently nice. Keep it up guys!
Very nice burgers and ribs. Reasonable price and friendly service . Just need larger place to fit more people in. Convenient city location close to everywhere.
Once again my dear daughter has come through again with her recommendation. Ribs.....and lots of it. Because it was a big group, we ordered a variety of ribs, short ribs, baby beef rib, pork rib, lamb rib and sticky chicken wings.....yummmm. they were tender and juicy. But man shall not live by meat alone.....the salad that comes with it offers a perfect balance to the whole meal. Try their sangria to wash down everything. All in all, a most satisfying experience. Did I mention the pricing? Half the price of Tony Roma. Good value.
I tried Ribs and Burgers when they had their 4th birthday $4 burger promotion and I've been back a few times. It's very American style food in my opinion, and I've enjoyed almost everything I've tried. The beef ribs were surprisingly good, and the sliders and ribs combo are a good deal. If you're not very hungry, maybe get the ribs and sliders to share with a side of fries. I wasn't terribly impressed with the onion rings, they reminded me of the French's fried onions that you can buy in American supermarkets.
Absolutely fantastic!! Had the smokey BBQ pork ribs -- the meat just slid off the bones with the most tasteful marinade. Yum yum yum!! This place will make places like Tony Roma's run for their money --- and customers.
Had the chilli chicken burger before work
It's perfect
Easy to eat, filling, perfect amount of spicy
Leaves a nice bite
Staff were really helpful too !
I'd heard about Ribs and Burgers through a good friend, and needless to say they lived up to me expectations! I had the Short Rib Burger and the combination of tender beef and chimmichurri, smokey basting and slaw was amazing!!
Enjoyed the burgers. Had the Wagyu and Aussie. Both were tasty and juicy. Great combination of flavours too. Will be back to try the ribs. :-)
3.8 rating!
Dined here yesterday , despite meltdown with the cashier server and ice cream running out (no milkshake which I heard was super good) - food and service was great! Everything came out at a timely pace and the staff were very helpful and efficient.
Chilli wings were really spicy but very more-ish. Cabbage salad with pine nuts was ok- much needed with all that meat we had. Chicken burger was peppery, had good flavour but was much too salty. Chips were soo good and a side serve of $4 was huge! Onion rings are nice but I prefer them larger and in big chunks - this is just preference. Original burger was ok but quite moist. Full rack Beef ribs were very large for that amount.
Total of food photos shown below $92.50 which fed 4 of us to the brim. They had nice smelling soap which made your hands squeaky clean.
I came to Ribs and Burgers with my partner as she said it looked like a decent place. She wasnt wrong. We had the aussie and the old school cheese. These were amazing. And to make it even better we had the best onio rings iv ever tasted. Definitely worth the trip into the city. Will go again.
After being reluctant to try this place due to lack of burger combinations I would usually go for. I agreed to come here as my partner wanted to. We shared the sticky soy chicken wings, they were delicious! Such great flavours, though there was a lemon and sauce on the plate that seemed unnecessary and like they were there to fill the plate? I ordered the veggie burger, I assumed looking at the menu, that it came with a side of onion rings and aioli, but they're in the actual burger. While I did like the burger and all the ingredients in it, it was far too salty for me, I'm not sure where the saltiness was coming from as I tried taking the onion rings out and that didn't work. My partner had the Aussie burger which he thoroughly enjoyed and even I thought it tasted nice. I guess it's a bit of a hit and a miss sort of place. I probably wouldn't go here again, you can get better burgers from so many other places!
Such nice burgers and the service was super great and really fast! They're quite reasonably priced and are definitely worth trying! They definitely taste like American burgers 🍔
Seriously.. with a restaurant name like that how can you go wrong? The CBD is starting to come up with some pretty amazing places - how I wish I was working there during the week! Thankfully there are weekends to fulfill my food desires. It was a Sunday and we arrived at midday, I was surprised it took all of about 10 minutes before all the tables were full. The venue is quite funky with American style diner booths and a bunch of extra tables in the glorious sun.
Definitely would come back again in the future to this place as they have tasty range of burgers and ribs. Not too frequent though. The price is average (not cheap, but not too expensive either). It is more expensive than Grill'd though.
Tried the pocket burger (two of them actually as they are having $4 deal for their 4th birthday) which is really good. You can taste the charcoal through and through. The size is small though, two isn't enough for me. But then again, I paid half price so I am not complaining. But wait a minute, what happens when they stop doing their promotion?!?!?
Speaking of promotion, I was dissapointed at their service and marketing. They were doing the free burger for a year giveaway but unlike other stores who gave it out to the first 100 customers, the perth store staff and manager were somewhat confused as to what to do (or what to say when the customer ask how the giveaway works) and they said that they were giving it out to random person every half hour.. What kind of promotion is that? Plus I sat there for 2 hour and didn't witness any (unless all 4 giveaway during that time were all to the far corner tables). Bummer. Shouldn't trust their promotion.
Anyway, back to the food, I also managed to try the spicy and herb Lamb ribs (from my good friend VQ) which is delicious. The meat is soft and the spicy level is justified. You get what you pay for at $27.50.
What I remember the most is the chip!! We ordered 2 extra chips actually. Mixed with their 2 sauces (the dark brown and the pink/orangy sauces) the chips are just irresistible.
I had recently tried the ribs and burger shop on their 4th birthday. The pocket burger was absolutely amazing. I was satisfied by the food and customer service provided. Worthwhile waiting for 20mins and I would come back to this shop again.
Worth the 20 minute wait I had to get a table. Absolutely delicious food, great portions and very reasonably priced. Will be back many times I'm sure.
This is one nice burger joint!
Their burgers are so much better (obviously) than the fast food outlets and a little more classy than the American burger outlet imitation that you get in Australia.
I had their original burger and one of their salads and thought they were lovely as too was their decor.
Walked passed and decided to stop for a quick bite. Very impressed, had the plain burger but I as pleased with the the great taste. Cool place definitely worth a visit.
Nice cosy place#always busy#loves the ribs:sticky soy chilli peanuts & bbq#juicy#chips are crispy#staffs are friendly#will come back again for sure#
Been here twice now and the pork ribs are fantastic! Great place for just a casual dinner, the rib combo meal is great value at $29 and is a full rack with your choice of side. A couple of downfalls, they are yet to get a liquor license and don't allow byo. Plus both times we've been we've grabbed a table outside because the music is blaring that loud inside you can't talk.
I got a rack of ribs with sliders and the ribs were sooooo good! Unfortunately the sliders didn't taste too flash they could've done with abit more sauce. Would go back was very cool and yum
Love the ribs. We had the baby back pork rack and hot chilli lamb rack. Pork was sweet and a bit oily. The lamb was tender and a tad fatty but both are yummy. Only downside is the price. Be prepared to spend $55 - $75 for a meal for two!
Ordered chilli chicken wings, onion rings and pork rib combo.
The GOOD: tasty, fall off bone pork ribs, friendly waiters, good slider patties, crunchy chips, bangin spicy wings (pretty hot!), value for money.
The BAD: insufficient seating, soggy crumbly onion rings, rude front house waiter, friends' beef ribs undercooked (meat still stuck to the bone).
Hit and miss with the ribs but great chicken wings.
Walk by this place everyday and now I've finally got a chance to try it! Always busy, but the service and wait times aren't that bat fortunately. Located in the new spacious globe lane, open and relaxed atmosphere. Order ribs and burger obviously. Tried the pocket burger as a standard, and it turned out to be a bit dry and plain to be honest, but the flavour was alright. Also had the smoky bbq pork spare ribs, meat fell off the bone and flavour was nicely infused into the meat - pretty decent and flavoursome. Onion rings were overkill and the fries were great as you can tell they used clean oil. Overall a good dining place.
Should we have ribs for lunch? I'm on holidays...whos going to so me muahaha.
Been on my list this place. Took alittle bit of playing hide and seek to find this place.
Went for lunch and it was busy. We got a table first and then ordered (not sure if that's what you do bit no one told us other wise).
My wife wanted a Flalafel- sold out. I personally didn't see alot of it out there. If you don't have it, let your customsers know so they can choose something else.
Got full rack baby back ribs: fall of the bone, abit dry for me but my two year old daughter dug like no tomorrow.
Beef ribs n sliders: i liked these rib the best! Great portion, taste and very moist n juicy. The meat for the slide were juicy n very well cooked but bun it went in was very dry.
My wife had some burger. I liked the patty but that was about it. Burger looked very plain.
Sides are sides. Fresh salad n nicely cooked chips.
The place was very loud but good atmosphere.
I enjoyed this place but wouldn't go out of my way to go back here in a hurry.
I think to get great ribs, do them yourself:)
My wife & I and another couple had lunch here on 2nd October and loved it. We all had sliders and ribs, all meals were nice and hot and the wait was reasonable as it was middle of the lunch hour rush. It is quite loud however we all still enjoyed the experience. Will definitely tell other friends and will be going back again soon. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.
Finally got to try this place after hearing so much about this place. I was a bit hesitant as these gourmet burger places are over populating perth.
The menu had a large selection but was simple to decipher. I decided to go for a combo of ribs and sliders.
Ribs were very tasty but came out warm. After 5 minutes it was essentially cold. This wasn't a big issue as the sliders made up for it. Delicious.
Looking at their making of other burgers, I could see how much attention to details they put in. Will definitely come back to try them.
Back again and it's even better than last time. Burger was exceptional beef ribs oh my goodness of sticky sweet meat falling off the bone yum. The staff here are so friendly. Thanks again for a great lunch. Definitely will return again and again.
We visited on a Friday evening, and despite a fairly long line we only had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table outside. Ordering was a pretty straightforward and the meals arrived quickly. I ordered the Veggie Patch burger (one of a few vego options on the menu, which was a pleasant surprise), which was amazing; plus, the chips were delicious too. I think I enjoyed my meal even more than my friends who ordered ribs!
Went on a Sunday evening which wasn't too busy. Service is extremely fast. Food was really tasty especially the onion rings which are delicious. Will be back
I ordered the Ribs with chili peanuts,a bit sweet for me but it was cooked nicely. I was disappointed they do not serve beer but hopefully they will someday. Onion rings are small and crunchy if you like that. For me their rocket salad was the surprise,I didnt expect it to be that yummy. Service is like in fastfood hurried and impersonal. Cashier that time was a snob, good thing it was only her and not all the staff.
I cannot tell you how much my partner and I LOVE this place. We come here weekly and have never been disappointed. Our top three picks if you're trying their ribs for the first time here...
1. Baby back - The best ribs in perth, portion size, price wise, flavour, EVERYTHING!
2. Riblets - Really good portion size for what you pay, but a little too fatty for my liking.
3. Spare ribs - Tasty but not as meaty and probably not worth what you pay for them.
Honestly do yourself a favour and check this place out! Easily the best rib house in Perth!!
I went for a family day out to the city and chose the wrong day...the HBF run! Hence there was a long queue at Ribs & Burgers, but the staff seem to be used to this chaos and was able to keep record of how long it would take to seat us. Our orders were taken at the front counter and we were seated at the booths, the decor is amazing filled with things to do with 'meat'! We helped ourselves to the complimentary condiments and filtered water.
The food came all at once, we had the baby back pork ribs, duo sliders and original burger meal. Chips were crunchy and lighted salted, the burger patty was juicy and delicious. However I was slightly let down by the size of the baby back ribs, even though they were juicy and marinated with a sweet bbq sauce they didn't seem merely as big or meaty as the beef ribs others were having and it was the most expensive thing on the menu. Though the term 'baby' back ribs should have been an hint of the size maybe?? I absolutely loved the sliders, but go both beef if you can. The chicken breast was a little on the dry side, but my kids enjoyed it regardless.
Got a table straight away at around 7:30 and there was an average wait for our meals which wasn't too bad considering the amount of people that were also in there. The food was amazing and I would definitely recommend eating here. My only problem was that we couldn't find a drink menu anywhere and it would've been nice to actually have one with the food menu. I definitely will be back again!
Hannah: We went to Ribs & Burgers on a Tuesday night at about 6:45pm and it was pretty busy, but not a ridiculous wait. We found a booth pretty easily by the time we ordered.
I had a Aussie Burger, naked (in a lettuce leaf instead of a bun). Even without the bun it was a crazy generous serve. I ordered a side of chips and was unable to finish them, even though they were some of the best chips I've ever had. We ordered a serve of Aioli but they already have so many sauces that you can keep on the table that it wasn't really necessary to pay for another one. I brought a salt shaker and pepper grinder to the table out of habit but we didn't touch either of them, the food was already so well seasoned.
Dale: I tried the Beef BBQ Ribs & Sliders meal which was excellent except the sliders tasted bit dry and doughy. For a place that is promoting themselves as a ribs and burger joint you'd expect them to be amazing which sadly they weren't. They should be soft, saucy and moist. But the ribs were some of the best I've had, the meat was nice and tender and fell off the bone and the bbq flavour was tangy and sweet.
The amount of onion rings you get for the price is excellent. Though they're more like shredded deep fried onion pieces but that didn't bother me as they tasted amazing. I would definitely return for the ribs.
The ribs are awesome and the fries are just perfect... Tasty and crunchy... Love it.. Definitely will be back... Unfortunately, the place became very busy during peak hours, so try to beat the rush hour to ensure you have a sit...
Had dinner there with friends tonight. To our surprise, we didn't wait for too long. Ribs are absolutely delicious. Very yummy chips! Steak burger has a whole size steak inside. Very very tasty food. Recommend the chicken wings as we, good value of money. Average service.
Had their baby back ribs with chips & aussie burger. Ribs were excellent, very meaty and the sauce/marinate was just right. Chips were good as well - not too salty, not burnt, crispy and light.
The aussie burger I'd say was quite average. The patty I think isn't as juicy as grilld - perhaps it was just a tad overcooked. But overall a very pleasant dining experience, didn't wait long for the food to come out either, which was great for my hungry stomach!
Ribs and burgers is one of the more pricey places I've been to, however the food looks great and service is fast.
Wanted to order a rack of ribs but was a little too pricey, so instead we got burgers and sliders instead. Food was quite nice but wish there was some aioli sauce to accompany it. Food had great taste but didn't quite stand out. All in all, not a bad choice. Would still recommend!
Went here on Saturday. When we arrived we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for a table, which was fine, and five minutes later we were seated. Burger and chips were absolutely delicious. The only thing that has stopped me giving a five star review is the woman on the cash register that night who I found to be rude to me and other customers. Overall I would return and recommend.
Tony Roma's you have a serious competitor! The ribs are delicious, it's much cheaper and the service is very efficient. Nothing to fault. Look forward to going back to try the other ribs options.
A friend took me here last week on a week night and it was jam-packed!
I had the 'falling off the bone' pork ribs and slaw. Friend had the beef ribs with slider combo and chips (which I managed to get my hands on). Food was delish!
Service was friendly, fast and efficient.
Can't fault this place.
My 2nd visit after just 1 week. Had the Lamb Ribs this time - yummy! Nicely marinated and almost falling off the bone. Much better than the Beef ribs ( wished it was more tender, though ) and Baby Ribs we had last week, which we thought were already pretty good. If only we needn't queue all over again - I would have ordered another Lamb Ribs!
What a night it was!, Smells from the place was bursting on to the streets nearby and that made us more hungry!, But don't expect to be seated so soon, as it is no bookings and is a wait list, we waited around 1hr 30mins for a table, this is for 9 though so it was a large group, smaller groups, roughly 2-3 got in quicker. Nothing we could do but watch as other diners dig into their dishes. Once we actually got in, ordering was quick and surprisingly the food came out quick as well about 5-10mins, I got the BBQ Beef ribs and sliders, and boy was the wait worth it, very tasty and cooked just right, i also ordered the chicken wings and the amount of sauce on that was crazy, be prepared to get messy when dining here.
Revisit R&B with in laws this arvo. We ordered 2 types of ribs: Pork Spare and Baby Back. Baby back was better, more juicy. Burgers we had: Beef Short Ribs, Aussie, Old School Cheese and Salmon. Beef Short Ribs was the best of all. I had Double Falafel Patties with Butcher's Salad, not bad. Chips, again, was great. They obviously know how to make good chips. Today's dining experience was good. Don't mind and will come back again when craving for ribs for sure!
delivered exactly what it said they would, ribs & burgers. It was a shame that the licence hadnt yet been granted as I would have enjoyed a nice cold beer to wash it all down. Food was nice & this is a definite meat lovers paradise!!
We went at 5:15 on a Friday night and got straight it, no problems. It was very busy by 6:00 though!! Hubby had baby back ribs, which were very tasty, juicy and served with very yummy chips. I had the "naked" (no bun) cheese beef burger and it was really filling! I ordered it with the side of "crunchy potato sticks" which was literally a bag of those French Fries potato chips lol weird!! Atmosphere was good and service friendly.
RIBS RIBS RIBS.
we ordered 5 rack of ribs, all the lamb and pork, came with fries, salads and ordered onion ring sides.
terrific ribs, moist, tender, seasoned very well.
all the sauces we ordered on the side were amazing!
recommended. nice environment & friendly staffs. fall in love with their chicken & beef mini burgers! 😍 Pork ribs are fine but a little bit dry tho. overall, 4.5/5. brilliant.!
I saw the massive queue outside this place a couple weeks ago so I thought id give it a go and check it out today. The staff were friendly, and there was a good selection of menu items. I picked the veggie patch burger with a side of chips and was pleasantly surprised by what was presented. The chips were delicious and crunchy, the burger was loaded with mushroom, fried onion rings, haloumi and salad. The only disappointment was that the water used to wash the veggies wasn't completely drained off the veggies before being put on the bun, and as a consequence the bun had a very soggy bottom.
Yum yum yum! Ribs overload. Everything is yummy!! Usually pork ribs is the one to get in any rib joint but during our visit IMO it was just average. Everything was super awesome
I now understand the hype about this crazily, delicious restaurant!
We ordered 2 BBQ baby back ribs ($30.50 each rack; we had to go for seconds because it was THAT good) and a beef BBQ rack ($29.50) which was equivalently delicious.
Their famous chips (regular $6) was crispy and fried to perfection. The coleslaw (as a side with the ribs) and butcher's salad ($10) were healthy options and tasted fine.
We also tried their burgers: The Pocket ($8) and a butcher's choice burger: Beef Short Rib ($16.5) which had a 8-hr slow-cooked short rib with smokey basting, chimichurri and coleslaw all together in a burger bun. Both had nice textures and a balance in flavour.
They also sell thickshakes and onion rings which I'll definitely come back to try.
Overall, the whole experience was great. Staff was friendly and the whole ambience of the place was "sophisticated-diner".
Great ribs (bit costly but 30 bucks for ribs is understandable). Big thumbs up to the amazing guy (who looked like the manager as he wasn't in uniform) who gave us our food. There must of been a mix up with orders where a second rib came out to us (that we hadn't ordered) , he sighed and asked us if we would like another block of ribs on the house. It was just a really nice gestured and to top it off he even came back with a takeaway box for us just in case we couldn't eat it!
Really great experience.
We went to RNB with a group of 14 people and found it quite easy to get a spot around 6PM on Thursday night. Our good friend Gourmet Conviction arrived there early, saved us a long table and asked the staff member to prepare 14 chairs for us. Not long after we sat down, many people came by and queued at the counter. Ordering was quite easy as some of us did our research and checked out the online menu beforehand.
Our meals of the night consisted mostly of BBQ Beef Ribs which was quite easy to eat, especially since the glaze wasn't too overpowering. The sliders were just okay but the ribs were definitely the winner of the night. My personal favourite was the lamb chili ribs, the meat was so tender and I like it due to the spiciness. Some girls could not finish the full rack of ribs so the economical option in the future is to share the full rack with a friend, especially since it comes with free chips. Our table ended up with some bowls of chips that we couldn't finish. The onion rings were satisfactory, but not as superb as what I expected. It was quite oily and I can imagine myself coming down with a sore throat if I force myself to finish the whole bowl. The portion of sides were really good though.
The premise was quite spacious and there were a lot of spots for solo as well as group diners. The waitress told us that Thursday night became the new Friday as it got quite busy really early on. Free filtered waters available next to the many condiments on the shelves. Service was really good as well, most of the staff that served us were really friendly and helpful.
I will definitely go back again to RNB to enjoy more ribs in the future.
I loved this place! I came here on a Saturday night for dinner. It was very busy and had no booking so had to wait 20 mins for a table (completely understandable - and totally worth it). The food came out so quickly! Ordered the Waghu Beef Burger, Chips, Chicken Wings and Pork Ribs. Everything tasted amazing! The Pork Ribs were the highlight of the night (oh, and the cute hats the staff were wearing) best Ribs I have ever had!
Attended for lunch. 1hour time frame. Service was speedy. Ribs a bit overdone. Burger was great. Went into a food coma for the afternoon. Great place for cbd lunch
I got the burger and ribs combo which at first seemed over price but in the end was well worth it. Highly recommend this place!
Only thing I could fault was my chips were a little on the cold side, otherwise a great meal at a reasonable price! Service was good too! Came on a Monday night and it wasn't overly busy which was a perk!
I love ribs. The pork rib from ribs & burgers kind of disappointed me, meat was too dry and lack of flavor. However, the lamb ribs was better than i expected, I dont normally order lamb, but my partner ordered, so i tried. Lamb was moist & full of flavor. our side of salad came out when we almost finished our ribs, and it was so salty. The burger was actually nice, love it with crispy onion. Another letdown, their floor was dirty and sticky, it's easy to fall over if you are not be careful.
It’s great to see the variety of restaurants springing up in Perth and Ribs & Burgers offers diners something new. I ordered the baby backed pork ribs with BBQ glaze, with chips (salad also available). The ribs are everything you would expect – tender, succulent, juicy, and delicious. Then there’s the golden brown crispy chips that are excellent and keep you coming back for more. Totally stuffed but satisfied.
Do not buy the naked veggie burger. Hard to eat and the mushrooms is tasteless. Ribs was good, chips amazing, chicken wing was okay but a bit dry to my liking. We came for sunday dinner and it was full and the wait was quite long bout half an hour.
Really enjoyed the food here, if you love ribs burgers and slidders definitely need to give it a go! Little wait, went on a sunday night but they ring you as soon as your table is ready waited about 20min. Unless you love your super spicy food dont not get the spicy chicken wings or ribs i love hot food but was a little too spicy choose another basting. Another thing they should really do is table service because you end up waiting in the same line as people ordering takeaway.
Been looking for good thick shake since I travel to USA. Thank you ribs and burgers. Apple pie thick shake was fantastic. Onion rings burgers spot on also. Great food great service great value.
Hmmm. Ribs sounds good and Perth does have a lack of good places serving ribs. Ok, having been forewarned that this place does not take reservations and that it gets crowded very quickly. We decided to have a early dinner. Early as in 5:10!
So rock up to ribs & burgers. Half full/empty. Good. Took menu and sat down. I swear in the 10 minutes that we were reading the menus and deciding, the restaurant got filled up!
Little Boss got the kids baby ribs combo. Big Boss went with the original burger. Me? *Roar* me man, man hungry, man want ribs. So totally went with the baby back ribs. The ancient one took the beef ribs.
Service is prompt. Food came out. Hmm. The kids meal is value for money. It was just slight less than a half slab with a serve of chips. The original burger was nothing too exciting to me. The baby back was approx a full rack. No sauce but their bbq sauce suits it perfectly. The beef ribs looked too much for me with the fats and gristle.
Service wise was good. Perhaps too good? Food cam out, dishes went where they were supposed to be. My objection? The server clearing each plate/serving tray piecemeal before the rest have finished. Little boss got his cleared within 2 minutes of finishing and we were still going. Big boss finished hers and server did the same.
Then it was my turn and the ancient one turn. I don't know about others but when you eat baby back ribs, it's a messy, dirty affair. So I am no different. My eaten and gnawed to the bone ribs were left on the table and not balanced on my serving tray. When the server cleared it, I distinctively heard a tut-tut and a comment. Normally after finishing, I will make the effort to place the ribs back on the plate to help the serving staff and I do apologise that I was not able to do so this time. Perhaps it was because I am still eating my chips?!!!
And on the issue of the chips, halfway through the meal did I realise chips were not served which necessitate me having to stop eating the succulent ribs to grab a server attention. It was served quick enough though.
It is definitely worth multiple revisits if they can maintain the same consistency with the baby ribs but seriously do the servers have to be that efficient?
Have only been here once, but the quality and speed of the services provided are up there. After ordering, the food arrived within 10 minutes, which was surprising as it was quite a busy night there. Food was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to others!
Went here with a group just before the lunch rush....so did half of Perth! It took 20 minutes to order however we had scored a large table by that time as there were 8 of us. The food came out pretty quickly...I had the old school cheese burger which was juicy and tender...a bit pink for me but I didn't realise they cooked them to order! Chips were plentiful and tasty. All had a range of burgers and seemed happy. I thought the burgers were okay but I wouldn't rave about them. Pretty good value though for what they are.
Friendly service, and the food was served in quick fashion. I had the baby back ribs with barbecue sauce. The ribs were 'melt in the mouth' tender with a delicious smokey charred flavour, and the bbq sauce was thick, sticky, and sweet. I'd go back.
Expect to queue in peak hours... Waited quite abit for food as well... Price wise, is good $30,50 for a full slab of baby back ribs with chips (definitely cheaper than tony roma's). I would say the ribs is abit dry and need more sauce, but overall acceptable.. Steakhouse burger is so-so. They use a round bun for a long steak piece which is odd and out of shape... Onion ring is ok, served in a bowl so oil is dripped down to the bottom, u'll ended up with pond of oil there 😝
I so happy I find RNB. Food serve is as big as my wife. I no take my wife here as she like salad. This food make me happy to be Australian. Opening please near Leederville and me make as fat as my wife.

I had the Baby Back Pork BBQ ribs ($30.50 for full rack) with a side serve of chips. The baby back pork ribs were marinated to perfection. It definitely ticked off all the boxes for a good slab or ribs. Delicious, juicy and tender. It’s ribtastic fantastic and finger licking good ribs. My dining partner had the BBQ Beef Ribs Full Rack ($29.50) with a side serve of chips too. I sneaked a taste test and it was as good as the baby back pork ribs. The only difference is that the BBQ beef ribs are much more meaty and juicy in texture with a good amount of fat oozing through the ribs. The chips on the side is a crunchy addition to the ribs. Trust me, they are actually pretty addictive.
You order and pay for your food and drinks at the front counter much like Grill'd and Jus Burgers. There are no menus at the table so you end up ordering off the menu while you are in line waiting to order. No liquor license so turnover can be relatively quick when compared to the other restaurants in the same precinct. We waited close to half an hour on Saturday night but that may be because there were quite a few of us dining together.
Dishes were quite well priced. The ribs come with a side of salad or chips and it is a quite well sized side. The full rack did look a bit smaller than other places' version of full rack. Word of caution, if you order the combo where you can have some ribs and the sliders..you don't end up with very much ribs. It's ok if you are having it to yourself but it would be very hard to share with several people. I consider myself a ribs enthusiast so I was glad that I ordered the full rack.
I wasn't too impressed with the onion rings. They were very very greasy. IMO, Jus Burgers in Leederville still holds the gold trophy for onion rings.
I also ordered the Old School Cheese burger. A humble looking burger and rather tasty. Somewhat better value than the $21 Cheeseburger (which included chips) next door at East Village Cafe. I won't rant much about that here, as one is full table service (EVC) while the other (R&B) isn't.
I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!
Came here in a group of 7 after church. Customer service is good and friendly and foods arrived pretty quick too. I ordered the sliders duo, naked salmon and baby back ribs. Sliders was good, the chicken is better than the beef on in my opinion. The salmon dish quite disappointing basically just lettuce and salmon with sauce. Baby back ribs is nice and tender but not juicy enough.
Fantastic food - everything myself and friends have tried on menu has been excellent so far even the pickles and I'm not usually a fan so I look forward to working my way through the menu. The only thing they need to work on is their ordering system as there is always a queue that stretches outside though it's never too busy inside and despite usually having three people on the tills they only seem capable of serving one person at a time. Also both times I've been they forgot to give me my drink and I had to go back and remind them.
Mouth watering wagyu burger and awesome hot and spicy lamb ribs! Favorite spot! It was a chilly night but the outdoor heater beside our table kept us nice and warm.
Went there for a team lunch. The food were awesome and reasonably priced ( full rack of ribs for less than $30 and burgers are generally under $15). The place was packed for lunch and had to wait a while for a table. Other than the queue, happy with the food.
Generous combo was a great intro to the menu. Can't wait to try other meats and flavours. Definitely a place to try if you're into sharing and not afraid of mess.
Tried the "naked" Original burger. Messy but delicious.
Love it! So good to have an R&B over here now. The beef short rib burger is freakin awesome, so so tender. And their bbq sauce is really good. Only downsides are a) the fries/ chips could be a lot better, they're a little oily and could use some seasoning, they kinda like frozen chips chucked in the deep frier, b) the seating system is pretty unorganised, people were turned away when there were clearly seats available, seats that remained empty for a good half an hour while I was there. But I guess that's to be expected with a new place. Other than that, be back soon!
P.S. We're entering a brave new world (the 21st century) in Perth where places like this in the city are starting to stay open on a Sunday... So thank you. There's no reason any CBD should become a ghost town on Sundays.
Super bubbly and happy staff. The burgers were quite average but the ribs were delicious. The milo thick-shake is a must get, super thick and creamy. The only disappointment would be that they were advertising a 10% student discount but when asked about it they said it wasn't available yet.
Great find, very busy which reflects their great burgers and ribs. but when asked about the 10 percent Student discount told not available yet as they do not have the machine ?? bit of a pity considering they were advertising it.
I also have rewards card but they still do not have the facility to earn rewards.
Stumbled across this place by accident and just walked in and ordered some ribs....Amazing, so good! Highly recommed. Wanting to go back every night
Called ahead to see if we could make a dinner reservation but was told that they didn't take bookings (boo) but we were lucky enough to get a table before the big dinner rush.
Apart from the slight confusion on whether we had to line up and order first before getting a table or whether we could just walk in, the service was great. The staff was friendly and offered to split the orders (there was 6 of us paying separately) and brought out heaters since we were sitting outside.
Food was served maybe 15 - 20 minutes after we ordered (awesome considering how packed it was getting). Two of us had burgers (yum), 3 had lamb ribs (chili had a great kick to it and the lemon and herb was pretty flavorful) and 1 had pork ribs and slider combo (flavor was just ok and the ribs was hot to the touch but getting cold fast on the inside) (unfortunately they ran out of beef ribs). The chips were awesome (super crunchy outside and soft insides) and onion rings were pretty yum as well.
Would give this place another go.@
Amazing place that do great burgers. Loved the pink sauce that they give you when you order your food. Will be back to try the ribs next time too. And the onion rings are a must.
Good to see new places opening up in Perth. Came here last week and really enjoyed my meal although they're really busy we waited about 15 minutes for a table as they don't take booking.
Ordered the ribs combo and let me just say the ribs were my favourite they were cooked so well when I bit into the meat it came straight of he bone like it should. The chips that came with the combo were also some good quality chips that would give jesters a run for their money. The onion rings were great and came in a large portion but were abit on the oily side.
We also ordered the sticky soy chicken wings that had a really tasty marinade but they were probably abit too dry for my liking. I also got myself a beef short rib burger but I didn't enjoy that very much at all. I wasn't a fan of the flavour and the beef was dry but luckily we get 2 sliders with the combo and they are much better in taste :)
Dropped by for an early weekday lunch at 11.30 to get a table before peak lunch hour (when we left at 12.30 there was already a mini queue).
I had the original beef burger - The beef patty was done nicely as they cook all their patties medium so it's still pink in the middle. The bun though was the normal sesame seed bun type and was a tad too firm for my liking. My work mate said the gourmet burger buns are much better.
Managed to try some of my friend's ribs which were marinated well, had a nice smoky flavour and easily fell off the bone.
Unlike some other burger places in Perth which charge you for dipping sauces, the sauces here are all free =) Thumbs up on how they have a wash basin in the main dining area so you can wash your sticky hands.
Will come back to try a burger from their gourmet range.
