Quaint hideaway for mulled wine on a winter night!
Great service and the food is awesome. Wide choice of beers and cocktails. Perfect summer spot, though no coffee. Atmosphere is great, and the chips are awesome.
I really like to sit in the alfresco area. You feel you are in the middle of a vibrant part of the city, but at the same time the screen defines the area and you not not feel on a pathway. Perfect venue for a lazy Sunday session.
We went to Lot20 to celebrate my GF's bday. It was a fruitful event.Â
We ordered the happy hour oysters, wings, mac and cheese, steak and gnocchi. I've ordered the Brookvale union ginger beer my all time favourite that Lot20 offers. The bartender also made a virgin banoffee cocktail for my girlfriend. The food was good and we will return again.
Great food, lovely staff, and wonderful house-made soft drinks! My favourite was the club lemon.
Lot 20 has great options from brunch to dinner, with a range of cocktails, wine deals and meals that change seasonally. My favourite time of year is when they make Hot Toddies and Mulled Cider, and set up little warmed cabins for a cosy date night ambience. Not sure if this is an annual thing, but I hope it is!
I tried their roast duck fat potatoes, and I was happy to receive delicious food! Every time I visit the staff are attentive and approachable, and the ambience of this place is unique. The interior decor is something worth checking out, as they have a particular artwork installed that's three-dimensional in parts. If you want to customise a cocktail during the quiet hours the staff are more than happy to oblige, which can be a lot of fun!
My only critique is that some of the seats are at an awkward height for the high-tables.
I found this a nice setting on a sunny afternoon. The share charcuterie plate was really good. I'm not usually one to order but I dug in and wasn't disappointed. The crispy bacon OMG - amazing! We ended up asking for more bread and also got some of the cheese bites, can't remember what they were actually called but they were also delicious!
After weeks on my bucket list I finally got to Lot Twenty. Pretty sure by this time my expectations were set too high.. Their garden was beautiful, service was good but nothing amazing and when I ordered their heirloom beetroot salad I was left hungry. I tried to ask the waitor if I could get something crunchy to it, like nuts or seeds, but he said they didnât have any. Well thatâs fine I took it anyways. Ended up paying 20$ for arugula and two different kinds of beetroot! My Partner ordered Barramundi fish which was tasty but quite small for 28$ plate :o
The rose bottle we had was the only great thing there- well that and we were left a bit happier after trying their cheese plate because we still needed something to be full; 3 different cheeses for 32$..... Not to be too much of a Negative Nelly, but, next time I will only go for drinks đ
Sunday night raclette, so much anticipation only to find out that they didn't have any cheeses left. They were very apologetic and offered a free glass of wine. Being in the industry myself I can understand how sometimes these things just happen for one reason or another. We ordered some picky foods along with our drinks, food was pleasant and the mixes on drinks well performed, only reason marking down was the lack of service. Wasn't a busy night so having to wait long periods to have table attended to or acknowledged wasn't the best. As well as ordering a drink and not arriving...... will go again as we had a grand ol time but if they want to go that bit extra the service staff need to be on point.
After an exacting day of champagne tasting at the wonderful Taste Champagne event (blog post coming soon) at the Pan Pacific recently, we were in need of a little food before we caught the train home, so, as it is close to the station and always has something good to eat and drink (not that we really needed the latter), the FWO and I hit Lot 20 â after a quick hello to Jerry Fraser who was busily shucking oysters we ordered a couple of snacks from the bar menu â barramundi croquettes and Dutch fries.
Beautiful space and beautiful food! I had the pan roasted mushroom dish and it was just delicious! The egg was perfectly cooked and runny! I will come back for sure! The waitress was really friendly too đ
Nice places to sit inside and out, very friendly staff, yummy food (had barramundi croquettes and dutch fries) and a really delicious cherry soda :) Very kitsch but I liked it
Impressed. Went to a comedy event and wandered over from work needed a bite. Dropped in here - it is a pub cafe restaurant...who knows.
Cool vibe, music not too loud. Inside or outside. They do great wine and drinks - not a deep list. The food is pub ie burgers chips OR share plates. We did share plates and man they were awesome. Give it a go....
If you havenât been to Lot Twenty in Northbridge yet, then I suggest you do (itâs run by the same guys as Five Bar in Mount Lawley)! These guys have a fab focus on great wines and cook up some pretty tasty tucker too. To help satisfy the wine lovers of Perth this winter, Lot Twenty will be holding a number of events as part of their âWinter Wine Seriesâ.
Excellent place for a local craft beer, just wish the craft beer selection was a bit better. Can't say anything for the food, because I haven't tried it. Also has both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor seating area has some amazingly nice murals...
Difficult to locate - it's not quite facing William street, it's off the tail end of James street, opposite the state library.
Had pork fillet. Food is good for the price and nice atmosphere to hang out with friends.
This place is great, good for just drinks, or dinner and drinks. Service is always very thoughtful and friendly, but sometimes it's hard to get their attention. I still don't get the appeal of chips with peanut sauce, but have enjoyed everything else. One of my favourites.
Went here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch.
The atmosphere was very relaxing and laid back.
A variety of drinks were offered on the menu, including local beers and wines as well as 'indie' berrs such as the Dune Rats beer.
My partner and I both ordered the steak. A hefty price for what you get however the steak was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious.Â
I would definitely return for a drink and to try something new on the menu.
I really enjoy hanging out at this place đ the food and drinks are generally good and it makes for a good night out. It gets darn busy on weekend nights and waiters are sometimes scarce so theres always the option of ordering at the bar. Jerry Fraser aka oyster man is sometimes there and the oysters are to die for !!! Macaroni bites are yum too , would definitely always be and option to go here for a quick drink and a bite.
Went for lunch today, I had the salmon open sandwich on rye, really liked the crunchy crust and the wife had the rare roast beef sandwich, both excellent.
It's really nice here. The venue is gorgeous, both inside and out, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Overall, it has a warm, hip vibe complemented by soft lighting, gorgeous artwork adorned walls, and great jazz music. The 'fancy drinks' we tried - called a Cuban Rum Swizzle and the Kingfisher - were strong and expertly blended. We also grabbed an assortment of bar food, which offered plenty of choice for my vegetarian friend, and each dish was well portioned, tasty and fresh. It's great here, I'll definitely be back.
The outdoor cabins catering for winter weather are a smart addition to this bar, as is the mulled wine at reasonable prices.
We should go to Lot Twenty more often. It never disappoints, is accessible and close to arts venues ... so is perfect for before and after drinks with snacks. I'm partial to a bit of maple bacon with cornbread.
Lot Twenty is a favourite Northbridge bar of mine, but I donât go there nearly enough. Itâs from the guys behind Five Bar. One of my lovely friends, Reeva (from blog âProudly South African In Perthâ ) and I enjoyed a spur of the moment dinner there recently. Weâd been at a foodie event in the city, though our tummies were still rumbling, so we snuck out in search of more food! I was hoping Jerry Fraser â Oyster shocker extraordinaire â was there. He now divides his time between Lot Twenty and Five Bar (Beaufort Street, Highgate).
A great cosy and intimate place for a quiet mid week feed and drink. They now have little individual cabins set up on the outside deck perfect for the cooler weather. Their mulled wine served in tea cups with a slice of orange ($7) was delicious. We had the baked ricotta gnocchi with truffle ($14) off the winter warmers menu and the pork belly which were delicious sharing plates. Their cheese platters and house made sodas look interesting too.
Came here for a coffee (though one friend had a warm cider- delicious!) All agreed that coffees were good. The group of us also shared a bickie sambo... so good. All up only came to around $10! The exclusive cabins are really cool for a bit of seclusion.
Delicious, generous mug of coffee for $3.50 was just the start of a really enjoyable time here. I shared with friends the Dutch fries, cheese and cauliflower crochettes and a board of meat and cheese. All were large portions for the price range ($8-$16). The crochettes were definitely a crowd pleaser, and something that I would especially come back for. We sat in one of the cubby house-like rooms that line the side of the entry. It was warm, cozy and a really great space for socialising. Love this place, will be coming back soon!
Superb dining experience, everyone is cheerful.Apart from having to wait a bit for service since we were sitting upstairs.
Awesome selections of beers and ciders, we didn't order a lot of food since it's already past 2.30pm. The lamb was very tender, chicken very juicy (perfectly cooked) and the salted caramel brûlée-delightful!
The highlight was definitely the Lot Twenty Apple Pie, OH MY GOD amazing. MUST HAVE
Very nice bar. The waiters were efficient and friendly and came over to ask if we would like more drinks when they noticed we had finished ours. The price was good and the restaurant was packed on the night we went. I had a tried a different drink-a cucumber cocktail-which didn't really take my fancy but that was no fault of the bar tender who made a range wonderful drinks. I would love to come back here sometime.
Before a movie at 1pm at Paradiso I decided to go for a quick lunch here. When I arrived at just before 12 I was the first customer. It has a beautiful front courtyard with a nice water feature, will be a nice place to enjoy when itâs warm and sunny with a snack and drink. I ventured inside, and was greeted by the waitress, who said I could choose wherever I wanted. Inside is just as impressive with various options of seating including sofas. I went with a little corner tucked at the back which has an inviting ray of sunshine coming through. I was given the menu and water. Immediately from the menu I could see this place prides itself in sourcing local ingredients; that was great to see. I decided to go with the crisp skin Northern Territory barramundi with white bean cassoulet and salsa verde. I asked the waitress for a wine recommendation and she suggested the Rockcliffe Chardonnay from the Great Southern. It arrived promptly and was a very pleasant drink. In the meantime, a large group folks on a bar walking tour arrived, and their food started arriving. I was starting to worry that I might been forgotten as I had waited a little while, so I asked the waitress if my fish was arriving. She came back and said it should arrive in about a minute and asked if I wanted another drink. Having finished my first glass I decided to have another. My fish arrived along with the wine. It looked beautiful and could see that it had a nice crispy skin. The fish was cooked perfectly and well flavoured. Also the salsa was a nice addition. While the white bean cassoulet looked warming, it was bland and lacked flavour; quite a disappointment. I do like the ambiance of this place, staff were friendly, and the fish was wonderful.

My new favourite Bar. Walked right pass this place a million times and have not really notice it. So glad we went it for a quick snack and drink. We had Cauliflower Croquettes and they were amazing. So light and crunchy. A really nice touch that the chef bought them to us. Just loved the warmth of this bar and the staff were all so lovely. We also had the chicken Pate and that took us to Pate Heaven.. (Is there such thing)!!!Ha ha , going back here for a meal for sure.
Set up in the courtyard of Lot Twenty, the dark intimate lighting made for a special ambiance, with groups of people gathered around tables. I soon learned that while we were in for a culinary treat from Chef Neal Jackson, we also were going to enjoy local wine producer Larry Cherubinoâs award winning beverages.
Great interior design of what seems like a vintage house, drinks are reasonably priced but the food could be a little bit cheaper. Eating area upstairs feels exclusive but not to the point where it feels snobby, I like the stairway going upwards towards it!
Love this place. Friendly staff and yummy food will keep me coming here. Come here for Jerry Frasers (King of Oysters) oysters! So fresh! Winter is here and the mulled wine is back on the menu. Something to warm the insides. Great cocktail menu too.
Once again, our search for one cafe/restaurant turns out to be a dead end, due to Easter Monday closure, and fortunately, we ended up discovering another gem.
Welcomed by a funky and soothing water feature that runs the length of the entrance, we were also greeted with a warm welcome by the hostess. We were informed that in honour of the Eat and Drink Perth event, they were hosting a free community BBQ, and could swap our email address for a free sausage in bread. I spied them on the BBQ, and was in like a robber's dog!
We were seated and offered menus, including the event showcase dish of Neal Jacksonâs roasted Linley Valley pork belly and grilled prawns, carrot tartare with a carrot and coconut sauce. I wanted the corn cakes, but sadly, they were sold out, so settled for a second sausage in roll, and some Dutch Fries, peanut satay, mayo and red onion.
Everything was super tasty. The service very friendly, even though they were getting very busy with a large lunch crowd. Funky music, comfortable outdoor seating area, and a pretty extensive beverage list kept us more than happy, as it also did for the people sitting around us. Would be keen to visit again and sample more from the menu - hopefully my cornbread with maple and smoked bacon!
Honestly, this is my favorite place in all Perth. The food is perfect, excellent and warming service. You just feel spoiled and in the right place! A must go every week!
Dined here on a quiet Sunday night with my partner and couldn't be happier with our experience. Service was friendly and attentive, the food was amazing! We ordered the beef, chicken, gnocchi and the cabbage salad. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, cooked perfectly and just delicious. As a added bonus it came to $80, we will definitely be back!
The place was packed when we walked in at 8:30 on a weeknight! Loved the rustic yet fun ambience as well as the friendly service. For food we stuck to the popular options of Dutch fries, potato gnocchi and oysters. I am keen to visit again with a few friends and try out some other options.
I love this place. The waitress was really friendly, the food was amazing and it catered for kids! Really reasonable prices. Will be going back soon.
Amazing food and service. We're addicted to the dutch chips and even the homemade sodas were a nice and delicious surprise. No wonder we have to book so far in advance. Our favourite bar in Northbridge.
Black Angus beef rump, chicken breast and Dutch fries were such a pleasant way to celebrate the end of exams. This place was packed even at 9pm!
My beef was cooked to perfection and each bite just melts in your mouth! Unleashing a burst of flavour and that chimmichurri butter-TO DIE FOR!
The chicken breast was moist and together with the Tuscan kale and fig and walnut compote provided a mixture of both sweet and savoury!
Only downside was the Dutch fries which was literally fries with peanut sauce and mayo. Nothing fantastic. I'm pretty sure the fries underneath were old as well because they were stale:(
I've got my eye on twenty with the lot burger which seemed to be the popular choice of the night. Well there is always next time:)
I really like this place but the only problem is that if you come here at night you can only book a table upstairs and even then there is a time limit. Which means if you want to stay longer than an hour or so you will need to hunt for an empty table either outside or down stairs.
The service here is excellent and the food doesn't take too long to come out. I love the gnocchi here. It's a must try
One of my best evenings towards the end of 2015 was the Whisky and Oyster Tasting at Lot 20. It was a ladies night organised by the lovely Grace from Zomato (formerly Urbanspoon). I am not a regular whisky drinker and oysters can make me squeamish, but I actually had an awesome and delicious dinner.
To give us a break from whisky and oysters, the chef played with some excellent nibbly bits. I adored the slab of maple glazed bacon, slightly charred on the outside and sprinkled with maple nougat. Omg *drool*.
Summer nights call for light dinners, but honestly I was so full after about 15 oysters and 4 whisky tastings. We tasted a gorgeous lemon and whisky sorbet to finish the night. It was served in oyster shell - love it!

Ah what a week this has been! The past couple of days have been jammed packed with running errands, working, blogging, eating and preparing for my end of year trip starting tomorrow! I just came back from a fantastic bloggers event at Lot 20 in Northbridge, hosted by Laura Dew from Yelp Perth. Tonight was a chance to meet other like-minded bloggers/Instgrammers, and to experience what Lot 20 and Yelp has to offer. This was my first time at Lot 20 and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe that came with the establishment. It's a small, friendly bar that also has food that's designed to be shared amongst friends and family.Ă
There was a myth that said we should only eat oysters in a month with the letter ârâ in it. Not exactly sure why but I was glad since December was one of the perfect months to enjoy the oysters (and it has the letter ârâ). There were oysters from four different regions that we tried last night: SA pacific oysters, Tasmanian pacific oysters, NSW rock oysters and Albany rock oysters.
The first course was oysters with beetroot granita, espresso foam and just natural pure Albany rock oysters. The mini palate cleanser that we got was a very delicious down to earth root vegetables with buckwheat pancake. With the first course, we were also presented with knowledge about the Connemara Peated Irish Single Malt whiskey by Bill which was quite light and sweet in flavour (compared to the other 3 that I tried later on).
Nice decor, chill atmosphere. Food was good and satisfying with nice, efficient service. Food was tad pricey for what it was but by Perth standards still good.
Booked a table for my birthday. Atmosphere was lacking a tiny bit upstairs (I think that was mostly about the bright lighting) but the service and food was fantastic. The fries with the satay sauce were a hit with everyone.
Great location in the heart of Northbridge. Such great decor on the outside and inside too! Great place to come for a drink! The owner is great and knows all about places in Northbridge and will tell you all the great restaurants around!
We've only ever come here for drinks and a few nibbles but in general staff are really friendly and patient and the ambiance of the place is really nice.  Cool place to hang out
Went for Sunday lunch. Smoked brisket was delicious and the corn was the best I have had. Skinny chips with satay sauce was something new for me and it worked well.
I've heard a lot about this place and finally managed to go. We ordered the chicken wings, prawns, dutch fries, and sliders. The chicken wings with blue cheese sauce was amazing! So moist and easily slid off the bone. The prawns weren't what we were expecting (although we got too excited about the thought of prawns that we didn't read the description properly), and weren't prepared for the tiny fried prawns that still had their heads attached.Â
Both the dutch fries and sliders were amazing and full of flavour. The fries were smothered with cheese and what tasted like peanut satay sauce, which were great although they got quite soggy after a short time.
We haven't actually eaten here yet but we've been several times for drinks and one day very soon we'll try the food. It's a great place to sit with a glass or two of good wine. The wine list is good. Had a great chat with the oyster man, who was shucking oysters outside. A top spot. Apparently it's a sister to Five Bar in Leederville. I'll update this once we've tried the food.
Where should I start? Really lovely staff, nice furniture, good food and impressive beverage menu! A good place for catch ups, dates and Sunday arvo drinks!!
It isn't a bar to go and get smashed out tho due to $$$-tag! But highly recommended anyway
This place has very good service. A very interesting cocktail list, which were delicious.
Food- nothing special, average, could be spiced up a little more.
Came here on Saturday night for dinner. We ordered the Tokyo fries which were nice sine you can't really go wrong with fries right? We also ordered the beef brisket which was a let down as the meat was dry and tough although the corn bread which came with it was delish and I wanted more. We also ordered the ricotta gnocchi which were very soft and cheesy but be careful ordering too much as they're really rich. Dessert was defiantly my favourite. We ordered the Ferrerro dessert which came with the nicest tasting sorbet but I didn't like the chocolate soil which came with it because I wasn't sure why it was so tasty and kept throwing me off what I was eating.
Casual and fun but always professional and polished service. Love Lot20 - has a cool vibe, open lateish, quality food and drinks at reasonable prices. The Oysters on a Wed or Friday are a bonus - especially in summer.
Lot Twenty is a great spot hidden away for those who know about it or happen to walk passed it. The menu is unique and the food is seriously good! Without fail I always order the Eggplant chips - doesn't sound all that appetizing but gosh they're amazing! Pretty much any dessert on their menu will surely satisfy at the end of your meal. The place has a great vibe and gathers a few regulars, and with the lovely Jerry Frazer there on Friday night shucking oysters it just added to the welcoming energy.
Great atmosphere! Came here for a relaxing lunch with friends and enjoyed the cheese platter, a couple servings of fries and a lovely chocolate parfait desert. Really enjoyable and reasonable pricing as well.
Alright, now onto the food!. Baked Ricotta Gnocchi, Provolone, Truffle, Fresh Basil. The amazing scent of the truffle and richness of the cheese. was irresistible, you could smell it as soon as it got placed down on the table!
A little fatty and I really wanted to go out and grab a Sugar & Nice cronut after seeing so many posts about it on Instagram. We heard that they sell out pretty quick so by the time I finished work we didn't want to take the risk of driving all the way there and being disappointed if it was sold out. So fatty suggested to head to Lot Twenty for a feed!
Such a little gem! Had no idea this place existed until my boyfriend took me there and everything was great. Our waiter was great and really attentive to us, the food was delicious and different and had a beautiful tempranillo! What more could you want !
Such an great place! Went there on a quite monday night and the place was quite but cosy with a decent amount of traffic. Food was delish! I ordered the much recommened (and recommending) mushroom dish with pastacio puree. While my friend ordered the very generously portioned stuffed chicken. Both plates were divine and so were the virgin (lime &kiwi and rose &rockmelon) sodas we ordered. Staff was attentive and friendly and the decor was super grooving and borderline '70s-esk (loved it!) Awesome awesome place. Next time I'll be back with a bigger group of friends to try the share plates and some wines!!đ

The food outweighs the terrible service. The eggplant chips are absolutely amazing. Just don't sit upstairs unless you want to be forgotten by the wait staff. We went on a busy Saturday night, so of course you'd expect to service to be slow. But you wouldn't expect to be waiting so long that one of the chefs ends up noticing and having to take your order!!!! Ridiculous!
Had the best time here with my boyfriend on our 3yr anniversary date. The menu online here is different to the one presented to us at the restaurant. To start with I had the toast with zucchini, pumpkin, pine nuts and OMG it was soooo good and the bf had the slider which he devoured. I ordered the ricotta gnocchi, just do it everyone, order that. Best thing ever. Boyfriend ordered the lamb shoulder which he enjoyed too. He enjoyed so much that he ate it soooo slowly so he could enjoy and appreciate every bite, that good apparently!! Oh god the Japanese inspired fries gave me life. Service from the waitress and chefs were so genuine and friendly. Music could have been a bit louder though! Also why are your toilets dungeons, Lot Twenty? The bathroom was gorgeous with the Art Deco inspired mirror, but I as soon as I closed the door on the stall I was in a black cave. Literally the only complaint I have is over the toilets lol
The kind of place where an entirely logical progression of events can result in the waiter making you paper hats out of menus while discussing the music of Paul Simon.
Very impressed. Decor and atmosphere was perfect. Food all delicious. The cold meat platter as an entree and the corn bread were amazing. Mains didn't disappoint either. Baked ricotta gnocchi and spiced\stuffed chicken breast. Will definitely be back.
Espresso martini is the best I've ever had and the pork belly was amazing the previous time I went as well! Such memorable place and great for every occasion :)
The last time I came to lot twenty, I was impressed by the decent prices and delicious mains (desserts weren't as impressive). However, it seems like they have improved their dessert game as the ferrero rocher pave was delicious!! I also enjoyed the smoked beef brisket but my mum's red emperor was a little bit too salty. The table next to us got a burger which looked good so I might have to come back soon. The service was excellent and the general atmosphere is quite relaxed. A great place to catch up for after work drinks and a bite!

Went for a group dinner (8). Lovely atmosphere, enjoyed the share plates dining style. The share paddles entree are big serves 1 of each easily enough for 8
Looooove this place!. After seeing this place online we went here for the first time on Sunday afternoon and was so very glad we did. It is awesome.
The place is really cool and quirky, we sat outside as they had heaters everywhere so when the sun dropped down it was really nice and cosy. We spent a few hours here drinking gorgeous wine and eating amazing food.
The menu has lots to choose from ranging from bar snacks to full meals. We had the lamb and the chicken, they worth both cooked beautifully and bursting with flavour. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
We are definitely looking forward to returning again with more friends.
Nice vibe. Lovely place to sit outside when not too cold, and nice atmospere inside and upstairs. Love the cool restrooms, just watch those stairs. When Jerry is there he runs the show, otherwise service is pleasant and casual. Nice small but interesting wine list, food on offer would cater to everyone; I could have had anything really, but opted for oysters and a shared jamon plate (beware, big serving). Do yoyrself a favour and give it a try.
Had the slider at the food truck rumble, and lot20's probably the only stall doing it right. Service was fast, food was delicious, happy to try the bar out another night
Went here for lunch today with friends and there was a good selection of wine and food. You need to order a side with the meals as they are just meat and carbs! Service was average but the venue was great. I would go back again.
Lot 20 have got a lot of things right (Dutch fries!!!! Omg, pork belly, Cubanos, the ribs, onion rings aren't too bad either!! As well as a good location, friendly male bar staff) ...... but I had a new style of pork there a few weeks ago and it wasn't great, a bit dry! and neither was the two salads (quinoa one and a chickpea one) I had. The female staff are also a bit up themselves. I'd definitely go back - even if just for the Dutch fries which are the best invention!! And the male bar /wait staff are really friendly and helpful! :) p.s. Sort your tables out guys, it's impossible to eat off of them. Never take Dutch Fries off the menu!! Yum! BRING BACK THE EGGPLANT CHIPS
Lot Twenty - 2/3/2015. Started the night off with a couple of cocktails between us - including the espresso highball and a strawberry, gin and elderflower one - both were packed with flavour - delicious!
The gnocchi done 2 ways was very nice, however I was surprised at how subtle the beetroot cream was.
The only disappointment of the night was the eggplant chips, which were too oily!
'Textures of a Patisserie' for dessert was great - perfect for sharing! Salted caramel macaroon was amazingly chewy and full of flavour!
The service was on the whole very friendly and attentive.
Setting the world to rights with Last Drop pils, Dutch fries and a burger. Perfect lunch.
An absolute gem of a venue. Me and some friends wondered in here randomly and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was so delicious, the atmosphere was so relaxing. Will definitely be coming back any opportunity. I was craving milk and made a joke to the waitress because I didn't think it was possible. And she brought me some. 10/10 in my books
Snuck in at 11.30am for lunch on Valentines. Good thing too as by 12.30 the venue was chockers with "the Giants" attendees. Venue specialises in sharing dishes (tapas) and therefore the servings are generous but specific to what is in the menu(no side salad etc). I really really enjoyed the Freekeh 3 grain salad. Really yummy. Unaware of the huge serving size I also ordered the onion rings. Really recommend the rings. Would be a good sharing dish for 4. I felt it was a travesty not to finish them but, the overall meal was huge. Great selection of drinks. Lovely service. Overall this is a bar that serves great food in a cool venue. I look forward to trying out the restaurant upstairs!
We're fans. My partner and I went to Lot Twenty for something to eat before going to a show at the Cultural Centre. We were seated upstairs at the bar as we didn't have a booking. The bar provided a bit of theatre and interest, and the chefs were happy to chat about what they were doing. We shared a James St Deli Board which was good but a bit too meaty - it needs something to balance it out a little. My partner loved it but then he's a massive meat lover. We also shared the Son in Law Eggs - I would only have these again at brunch, but gees they were very nice. Then I had the gnocci for main - YUMYUMYUM but it did need the side salad I ordered with it. My partner had the salmon which was also good. The onion rings were forgettable. We bought some beers for the chefs when we paid our bill - no idea if they ever made it to them or not as we had to rush off to the theatre.
Sunday Lunch - Great Service and Tasty Food. Headed to Lot Twenty for a Sunday lunch for two. Although the courtyard looked inviting with the shady umbrellas and water feature, it was a little hot, so we chose to sit upstairs in the air conditioning with a view of the movements below.
Drinks: Fancy slushies. Delicious!
Food: Dutch fries (sauces on the side so they didn't get soggy), lamb ribs, and a cured meat share plate. I enjoyed all that we ordered, although my dining partner found the ribs a little gelatinous .. uhhhh that's the best bit! But if you are a little funny about that texture, it may not be your cup of tea. The small share plate was a good size between two - I thought it seemed fairly generous compared to others I'd seen. All great quality, delicious.
My friend ordered a chocolate pot dessert, as a chocoholic, she was happy.
It was quiet when we were there, and we found the service very attentive but not overbearing. We asked for advice about whether we'd ordered too much/little and the response ended up being spot on.
I'm sure I'll be back during Fringe!
Good for a drink and bite - not dinner. Pre-show drink and snack, this is the venue for you. If you want a proper sit down dinner then its probably not. The food is great and service friendly, but they are very busy and so you can wait quite a while for more than a snack at dining times. Definitely will be back from drinks and those amazing chips!
Went for dinner yesterday evening before going to see GASP! at State a Theatre and loved it! Great service, great vibe, great food - I had miso salmon and (table of 4) shared Freekah/Faro and the carrot salad! Yum. The wine list is average. We dined up stairs for a 6pm sitting, nice and quiet while we watched the happy crazy going on downstairs. A very cool slid back edgy gem tucked the heart of N'bridge. It will do really well this summer.
Cosy place, good vibe, great for a date or a few drinks. Loved the food (highly recommend the patisserie dessert selection), food is reasonably priced and staff were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend.
We had a delicious mid week meal in the restaurant section. The lamb ribs had an amazing tamarind sauce, the roast pumpkin was lovely and the cauliflower was beautiful and I'm not usually a cauliflower fan. Service was great. Will definitely be back!
Very nice. I don't know what all these people are on about it being bland - coeliac husband and I went there early on Tuesday evening before going off to play board games at Cafe Myriade. We had dinner at Lot 20 and it was very, very nice. We shared ourLightly smoked pork belly with Chestnut crumbs, Cardamom and Apple Gel (so nice!),and Wagyu Beef Rump with Chimmichurr Butter (tangy!). Both had exceptional flavour. We chose Spiced Cauliflower, Pomegranite, nuts and seeds, herbed Yoghurt and Asparagus, Potato Foam, Yuzu, Kafiir Lime as sides. The portions were divided to make sharing very easy! They showed good GF awareness, too - it was all thoroughly delicious.
I can see that this place could get seriously crowded at peak times. I hope they get some umbrellas or shades for the courtyard (we sat upstairs) for the hot, hot summer. But otherwise, great food. Some gluten free beers wouldn't go amiss - Billabong Australia Ale would go very nicely...
Great trendy small bar. Nice new bar! Love the atmosphere and furniture! Very trendy and rustic. Love the idea of the extra outdoor bar for quick drinks saves the hold up at the main bar which is pretty small. They can work on customer service as they are attentive however look uninterested and on the move like they didnt want to hear our whole order.. The food took a while to arrive. Was abit bland but good price! Love the concept of small restaurant upstairs however is very cramped, making the most of the space.
Ideally good for small groups but large ones will be difficult. LOVE the courtyard. Very creative! Beware of those chairs! They are heavy and very uncomfortable! More like a self service then customer service as menus we grabbed ourselfs and came up to the counter to order as no one noticed we sat down or something as no one came. Great management team but need to put systems in place, staff seem to worry more about work then looking after customers. Will come back as a good bar overall.
Great service great wine, food was very bland and too pricey. Would come back but for drinks only. Good vibe
Brilliant new bar! The staff were amazing and the vibe was fantastic. This is exactly the kind of bar Perth needs. Perfect way to spend a Sunday!
We take a look at the menu which is sourced almost entirely from WA. It's designed so you can mix and match the different sections of the menu to suit your specific dietary requirements - quite a clever concept.
Lot Twenty is the latest place to breathe life into Perthâs Cultural Centre. What used to be a no-go zone up until a few years ago is these days an unrecognisable area containing bars, cafes and people young and old.
Son in law eggs are a traditional Thai dish, usually featuring a boiled egg that has been shelled and deep-fried. Lot Twentyâs version is a really modern breath of fresh air with soft, liquidy eggs and the most moorish chilli caramel dressing.
The yolk is unctuous and almost seductive as it oozes out onto the crusty croutons. Itâs vividly orange, silky and wildly addictive when combined with the punch of coriander. In my opinion, this is a must order if you visit here. I loved every last bite.
I love that all the new Perth bars and breweries have gone out of their way to be different. Over the last 6 months this is where weâve checked out⊠LOT TWENTY in the Perth Cultural Centre. My two burgers had lunch here one Sunday, we loved the cool decor and vibe of the outdoor space. Iâd go here more for the drinks and ambience rather tha nthe food as the sandwiches we ordered were a bit on the small side for the price. I perhaps also had higher expectations as I love the food from Five Bar who are partly owned by these guys. Featured in the middle is burger boyâs Twenty with The Lot burger which had a Wagyu Beef Patty, Farm house Gold Cheese, Pickles, Fried Egg and House made Ketchup in a Glazed Bun $18. It usually comes with onion rings inside the burger but burger boy went without.
Lot Twenty presents a really inviting, relaxing and casual outdoor area, but no cover, to grab a drink and a meal, perfect for afterwork drinks / functions. The menu offers a range of reasonably priced meals & they also have desserts for $3-$5. I had delicious ribs.
Popped in here for a quick drink and snack, before attending a theatre performance. Very friendly staff and nice chill atmosphere. We LOVED the Dutch Fries, daughter said best fries she has ever had!! Nice find by my wife. Cheers đ»
I canât recommend Lot Twenty enough to host your next event.
I had my 30th birthday here in May 22 and it was just amazing.
Everything was absolutely perfect, the staff, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere. Couldnât have asked for a better venue!
The staff at Lot Twenty before, during and after the the event were so helpful and made the process very easy and stress free. Which is important when organising an event.
I look forward to going back to this fabulous small bar very soon.
Thank you again to the Lot Twenty team, we all had the best night and was definitely a night to remember đ· đđŒ
Very relaxed outdoor setting. It was exactly what we needed after a long day at work.
Nice food options and the drinks offerings were interesting.
Only downer was a lack of sugar free non al options. Although the bar staff came up with a creative solution using what they had. So not bad outcome
Great location close to train station for easy access and a lovely venue. Comfortable with a good vibe and able to enjoy the warm hospitality from the friendly staff. You can relax and enjoy good conversation whilst enjoying the range of food and drinks without having to compete with the volume of the bustle of the city. Definitely worth a visit .
I had my 21st birthday at Lot Twenty and they couldnât have done a better job. Highly organised and were able to accomodate to all of my requests. Staff are amazing and they offer really nice drinks and cocktails. Will definitely be back
Lot Twenty is everything a bar should be, this is a true hospitality experience. Happy relaxed customers and humble bartenders, happy days.
Food and drinks were delicious đ staff were great and very friendly, overall fabulous atmosphere!!!
I must say, on reading the menu I was thinking, o just another âmodern Australianâ restaurant.... so I thought Iâd give it a go only since itâs open..
Let me say, once I found the venue... itâs a little hidden if youâre looking for it on William street head towards the art gallery down that off shoot road...
The food was amazing! The waiter!! His suggestions were spot on! Cannot wait to come back here again on another Thursday night to have the bottle of wine special again, and to try the Camembert dish that was sold out.
10/10, 100% will be returning
