Absolutely loved the ambience of this cafe. Looks deceptively small from the outside, but there is plenty of seating indoors, and a gorgeous garden courtyard with tables and benches under a canopy of trees with just the right amount of sunshine and shade. Came for Sunday brunch & ordered the spiced lamb cigar (delicious), roasted cauliflower and haloumi fritters (ok, a bit lacking in flavour), and the chargrilled zucchini and saganaki (absolutely delicious - highly recommend). Coffee was ok, our waitress was friendly overall but seemed to have no idea about the menu and got quite flustered when we asked her to explain some of the dishes. Service was definitely on the slow side. Will definitely return to try more of their dishes, great place to come for a relaxing breakfast/lazy brunch.
We went for lunch at Little Way a couple of days ago. They've created a great atmosphere here with plenty of seating options, inside and out. We ordered from the share plates. The salt and pepper squid was really light and had plenty of flavour. The aioli was lovely and creamy but a little stiff which made dipping a bit tricky. The arancini were really cheesy and tasty although the sauce could have done with a little more seasoning. The third dish we ordered was the roast cauliflower and halloumi fritters. These were packed with flavour and really light. The service was really friendly but not very attentive. We were seated for a good ten minutes before anyone appeared with menus and water. And then there was another long wait before we could place our order (I noticed two other groups didn't wait and went up to the counter). The food came quickly once it was ordered though. And the food did make up for the service, well and truly. We'd definitely go back.
the tasting plate was delicious and a good size. Great for those who are indecisive! The baklava French toast was also awesome.

I couldn’t go past the eggs benedict ($18.00) which comes with belly bacon, house hollandaise, mustard leaves and poached eggs on sourdough. It’s a classic breakfast dish, and yet this felt like a nice modern interpretation of it.
Especially thanks to that belly bacon, which was just phenomenal. Thick cut, fatty in just the right ratios, and full of flavour. I’m a big fan of mustard greens, and it was nice to see a different vegetable than rocket or spinach on a brekky plate. I would definitely return back for this dish, it hit the spot in all the right ways.

Tasty food ranging from brunch classics to more innovative creations. Overall an excellent hangout choice for the Nedlands area - perfect for coffee/breakfast dates/brunch/meetings etc. A little on the pricey side but what else can you expect from Nedlands.

Very well priced mains and decent portions, but the extras are very expensive for what you get ($5 for 2 small bits of bacon - superbly cooked though! So maybe up how much is given and it’d be great!)
The banana bread was delicious and the scrambled eggs were nice.
We originally sat in the little area inside at the back up it was far to dark for the day time and moved to the window seats - would be good if could brighten that area up.
Coffee was ok, maybe a touch on the bitter side

Such a beautiful venue with fantastic staff! We hosted our daughter’s baptism celebration at Little Way and thoroughly enjoyed it. They stayed open especially for us and did many other things to help make our afternoon even more special and also affordable! Everyone loved the food, atmosphere, service and location. Amazing hidden gem in Perth and one we highly recommend visiting!
Had breakfast here this morning at 9am and was really good. Eggs Beni all round, really tasty, fresh and good sized portions. Just need to ease up a touch on toasting the sourdough which was just a little bit tough on the edges. Coffee was great, nice and strong long macs, the watermelon juice was also served up just right. Thanks Little Way, will be back next Sunday! Just need to make sure we book for a table out the front as the back section was a little dark for breakfast.
Came here for brunch on a Friday. Service was friendly and prompt. Nice relaxed vibe and lovely outdoor area. I had the smashed avocado with an egg and haloumi. It was tasty but a bit expensive for what you get ($27).
Actually a really nice cafe (bigger than I thought) with a really good food and drinks menu. Coffee was really nice and so were the juices. A good location so close to UWA.
Very friendly and helpful staff, gave us some really good recommendations and allowed us to split the bill. I'd highly recommend their mushroom bruschetta it was superb

Came here to this cafe for brunch for the first time and we had a great time here. The outdoor setting was cozy and such a great place to chill out and just catching up with friends. The food and drink were amazing.

the first time in a long time I actually couldn’t finish my desert (I had the Chocolate
Mouse) I was so full. You get value for money with generous sized servings. Best
of all the night out didn’t break the Bank with the menu being very well priced.
PS there's free parking a little bit down the road. Looking forward to trying the fish next time …
What a great café! We held a work dinner here last night. The service, food and wine list was faultless. The menu reflected fresh, seasonal ingredients and all three courses were fantastic. I can highly recommend the chicken salad (but no chicken as I am a vego, which the kitchen readily accommodated) - and who doesn't love pomegranates in their salad!! Flavourful, generous helpings. A great ambience, thoughtful decorations, and with beautiful indoor or outdoor seating options.
Little way is a popular venue for drinks for my uni posse so after a long day at class we moseyed on over for a well-earned drink. With its space out the back, it is a great venue for medium sized groups to chill and catch up. Since it my older sister’s birthday, I thought it would be nice to take her for dinner here after we had finished with the posse.
I went to Little Way with my family not long ago. We sat out in the beautiful leafy courtyard. Meals were all delicious and service prompt friendly . Now I use it for business lunches with my clients .
Went to little ways last week with a group of 10. It was a wonderful experience . The staff were friendly, the entrees were delicious and the mains very tasty. A great place to sit back and enjoy a drink or two. We will be back.
Had lunch with girls in the cabana room. I had the Aranci ($14) and it was really good as a stand alone meal. All the dishes looked bright and colourful. Lovely hang-out spot to have a nice long chat over lunch!
We sat in the beautiful garden area on a very nice winter afternoon. Delicious food and coffee to match although it was quite a challenge to find parking closed by.
Went there for team lunch and OMG! Just Perfect!!! Amazing food and excellent service! We ordered the super salad, the poached chicken with couscous, the grilled chicken burger, fettuccine and the avocado smash. Everything was spot on - EXCELLENT!! Good portions and reasonably priced (for the area)…YUM!!! The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. Will definitely be going back for the burger and the avocado smash. Fresh, comfortable and lovely outdoor seating. Great for all occasions.
Came here for Mother's Day breakfast. There was 11 of us and we were able to make a booking. The seating outside was absolutely beautiful. The service was fantastic. The uniforms are a cute touch. Food all came out at the same time. Coffees were prompt and hot. There was a slight mix up with the order but it was resolved quick and effortlessly. Servings were large and food displayed beautifully. The only negative which was minor was the 'cold press juice' wasn't fresh. It tasted like bottled juice. All in all it was wonderful and I would highly recommend. We stayed for 2hrs and there was no pressure to leave. Thank you.
Small cafe, small menu...no it's a bar....ummmm. I dunno. Prices are reasonable, food is tasty. Perhaps what I bought as a big greasy but the staff were friendly and super fast. Cool concept and enjoyable place to sit and watch the special people.
Came here on the Monday Labour Day public holiday and the place was very busy at 7.45 am already. Service is at the counter, and I ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder, spinach, fetta, tomatoes and mint on toasted sourdough, long Mac topped up and a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary came out first and was fresh and nicely spiced; thoroughly enjoyed. Coffee came next, and was good, the only down-side is that all coffees were served in take-away paper cups. My brekkie came last, and it was very tasty with hints of cinnamon. The meat was tender and soft and went well with all the other ingredients. A great flavoursome dish! Will give their dinner a try soon.

Gorgeous spot for a cool drink and bite to eat! We had our Christmas lunch here and it was lovely. The decor outside is beautiful with vines running down the walls. Only issue was the heat, there was just a few pedestal fans which seemed to push the hot air towards us. Staff were lovely and offered us table service due to the size of our group, which was great but in saying that, they only did 1 check for drinks and we weren't offered a sweets menu which potentially could have got them a few extra pennies! Everyone (on my end of the table) enjoyed their meals - I had the chicken burger which was delicious. The menu was very appetizing - had a bit of everything. I'd like to try their brekky next time!
Had a great breakfast here a couple of weeks ago for a friend's birthday. Ordered the pancakes and the smashed avo, both awesome sizes for the price and so delicious! The fresh squeezed apple juice was great as well, my friend wanted the watermelon juice which unfortunately they'd ran out of, bit strange for 9:30am on a Tuesday but at least they gave us the last of what they had for free. Great outdoor, the front where you can have dogs and the large back area, and indoor options, will definitely be back to try out their other menu items!
Really enjoyed our mid week visit, friendly service, with plenty of space, indoor and outside options, perfect for a gorgeous spring day. Plenty of options with the menu, really enjoyed the chicken breast open sandwich with bread and common bread, fresh corn, salsa and avocado. One of the group ordered the squid, not so good, greasy and large rings, not so sure about the freshness - thinking frozen! Aside from that really enjoyed our visit and happily return.
Avocado on toast was delicious. Loved the addition of mint. Serving size was more modest than some other places around town but only a small complaint there. There's indoor seating, outdoor seating and a few tables out the front if you have a puppy friend with you.
What a great little cafe in nedland!!! Parking was a but of a mission tho. Love the simplicity but very modern decor and fit-outs. Bar at the front was bery welcoming. Great selections of table seatings inside and outside in the courtyard. Even a lil private room in the back that fitted about 10-12ppl!!
Service was fabulous! The girls were al so efficient. They provided such a great atmosphere.
The menu was great. Selection of innovative healthy options and hearty warm options. I chose the open chicken salad sandwich which had perfect flavours between the poached chicken, corn and avocado salad and mayo dressing. Flavours went so well with each other. Size was great for lunch serving.

The staff are lovely and very welcoming - We ordered the smashed Avo which was delicious ( minus the mint ) with a poached egg on top - the avo has peas with it which is really tasty ! Unfortunately our eggs were ice cold . Loved the toast ( bread in common ) but slices were really small . My husband had poached eggs with a side of mushrooms and a side of Avo - unfortunately his breakfast was ice cold to.

Homey, spacious, friendly, comfort music are here - important ingredients for a coffee shop. I had my usual skinny cap and small fresh baked piece of carrot cake. Both were delicious. I note the waiter brought a fresh bottle of water to my table and glass with no prompting! That is service you dont get at most places these days! Gets a tick from me. There’s a new addition to the ever expanding Nedlands dining scene. Little Way is a casual eatery, open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. We booked our table for a leisurely midday meal.Little Way is tucked into an old building that’s filled with character. There’s a nice flow to the neutral dining room, bar and outdoor area. The leafy courtyard would be wonderful on a warm Summers morning or for a sunny Sunday sesh with a glass of Pimms or two. On this rainy winters day, we’re happy to sit in a cosy little nook inside...

Had a early appointment in Nedlands last week lead us to this bonza little place. Heard about it on this fabulous app called Zomato :). Well well. As soon as you walked into the place it felt like home. It oozes warmth, the friendliest of staff and coffee is wonderful.We were not going to have breakfast but after looking around we decided to and we were so bloody happy we did. The breakfast bagel would undoubtable be the best one I have ever had. (Big Call I know). But the ingredients were exceptional good and the tomato relish along with the freshness of the bagel was second to none. ( I have dreamt about this ever since) . Weird I know..My partner had Eggs benedict, and judging by the state of his plate I would say he enjoyed it.
very nice cafe in nedlands. was a great day too. has a brekkie menu until 11.30 and then brunch and also a lunch menu. so plenty to choose from. deco is simple and relaxing. has seating inside and plenty outside (not so little-little way i guess). i got the avo smash w peas mint fetta on gluten free toast. i must say the gluten free toast was really nice! normally its not very soft etc. but i got a really nice soft sourdough textured 2 slices. avo smash was yummy too. coffee was 4/5. my friends got toast w bacon or salmon, and eggs benedict. quite happy again. we also got a muffin which was divine. so soft and moist...disappeared very quickly. service was good too. thanks for a lovely morning :)

When I arrived it was the calm before the storm. It's a kind of peaceful place with golden morning light blasting through the windows. It's the kind of street I would image you might find in San Francisco. Old slightly dilapidated houses that hang precariously off the side of the hill. The row of shops has an welcoming air and Little Way certainly has improved on that. The staff all dress in matching shirts and their sense of humour is meant to match as well. I found them helpful and friendly. The coffee was "loaded" and I could tell they were using a extra creamy milk. Very nice and very smooth. My eggs Benedict were swimming in Hollandaise and I really thought they might drown. Poor eggs! What a way to go! The bacon/pork needed a whole lot more slow cooking. I felt like the pig had been rushed to the table without the consideration for my palate. It really was just a slab of meat lacking the tender favoursome texture to complement the sauce and eggs. The menu is standard and some people might be looking for that in a world of fast change and constant improvement. It's a good cafe to start the day and with a little tweaking on the food will be a great place. As I left the place had swelled to almost bursting. The people are coming and that is the greatest recommendation for a cafe.
Went there tonight and it was a pleasant surprise. We had the squid rings and the lamb shoulder, the squid was tasty and the lamb shoulder wowww really yum and well seasoned. Few local beers on tap to make the whole experience even better. My only suggestion would be make the squid rings batter more crusty and crunchy.
Sunday catchup session with friends, one recommended this place cuz she gets coffee from Little Way all the time.
The place was buzzing at noon, love the little courtyard and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. We ordered coffee and desserts and they made us very happy.

Social media really does make life easy for hearing about new places open. Well I suppose I should say that if you spend a lot of time on social media it has this helpful application and I likely am in the “spends a lot of time on social media” category. Not hours at a time, but the occasional glance throughout the day to see what’s happening. And this was how I heard that Subiaco’s The Village Bar was opening a second venue in Nedlands called Little Way.
The makeover on this cafe has created a fresh and relaxing feel, complemented by the excellent service - the kind where the people working there are genuine rather than just trained to say certain stock phrases.
I called in for a quick breakfast, sat outside in the courtyard and ordered fruit toast with a coffee. Beautifully presented and it arrived soon after ordering. Toast is way overpriced at $8.50 (the retail price of a whole loaf from a good baker) but overall I was happy.
Will return to try some of the mains - and possibly the takeaway muesli on a week day.

Dropped into this little gem on a Wednesday night for a light meal. Excellent, relaxed but attentive, friendly service from the team. The share food was fresh and serving sizes sufficient to share.
Ordered the salt & pepper calamari with lime aoli, as well as the freshly made dips and lightly toasted crisp bread. Devine.

Grabbed breakfast today and I'm glad we got in early because it started to fill up after 9am. We ordered the avocado smash with a side of scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs with bacon. Both were nice with good seasoning and generous portions. Pleasant staff, quick service and great coffee. The outside area was very pleasant. Might come back to try their lunch menu.
Went here with some friends on a balmy evening and the outdoor seating was perfect for it. We shared the Zaatar Prawns and the Pickled Octopus for starters- both were well presented and had an excellent mix of flavours. The beef cheek pasta was a real winner- with a generous serving of beef, and slow cooked beautifully. The pork belly was also excellent, though a few pieces were slightly tough. Dessert was simple but fresh. Service was cheerful, and probably one of the better ones I have come across in a new restaurant in Perth (particularly given the hit/miss service I have experienced at other new restaurants in Perth). A great new addition to the Nedlands area!
Food was great, I had the lamb salad, my mum had the calamari and watermelon salad and my son had the prawn fettuccine. All meals cooked perfectly, very enjoyable .
Staff were friendly and attentive, and present without being overbearing. You have a choice to sit alfresco in the garden area, by the roadside or inside , something for everyone! Chic, modern and funky and beautifully decorated.
We held a 21st birthday dinner in the back herb garden area . This area is very private and is a lovely spacious courtyard .The Party was a sit down 3 course dinner for 25 guests. It was an incredible evening and we could not fault the staff , service, food , or drinks. From start to finish their customer service was exemplary. They let us decorate the area in the morning and then help us set up the area and tables an hour before hand. They printed all the menus for us and organised gold tokens for cocktails.Nothing was too much trouble and it made the evening a huge success. They also did not rush us out of the venue at the end of the evening and let us have a magician perform. I can highly recommend Little Way for your next event
A nice cafe with a good breakfast menu, we had the the Little Way B.E.S.T, really liked the Bacon Slad, the pancakes and Spiced Shakshouka w Baked Eggs were good. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly services.
The courtyard is gorgeous, perfect for a function / bday . Bar is very small so make the drinks come a bit late , tasting plate contain 2 units of each appetiser so it’s not suit 2 pp. pasta with Italian sausage is a bit spice for those who doesn’t like chilli
I recently had my Bridal Shower here and I had lots of feedback from all those who attended about how great the food, service and atmosphere was! I myself, was really impressed by the hospitality shown, and how efficient the food came out. The food was delicious and plenty for the set menu price we paid.
