Love how overall experience I have here. Went for AFG Christmas dinner and was served well especially the tall blonde bartender were very friendly and suggesting good drinks for me, really appreciate his friendly service. View was nice and the vibe was nice, the parking isn't free though but will come back to try the other dishes there for sure.
2 Jan 2022 came back for hubby's surprise bday. Food was average but hubby liked the steak.

( from the radio) is far too loud, had 1 beer in the lounge and left. It was not background music.
Not relaxing at all and the bar attendant couldn’t hear what I was saying when I suggested the radio was too loud! He didn’t do anything about it. Could possibly have been a good experience if the music wasn’t as loud as it was. Not many people there, I wonder why? Not very civilised…

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and decent prices, the food was great... would have definitely given 5 stars if they did mains(the 'bar snacks' were very generously portioned). Will definitely visit again, probably on the kayaks 😎👌

Omg a must if you haven't been... right on the Swan overlooking the river band playing on Sunday arvo... there brisket special was out of this world.. ate half of my partners barramundi with crispy skin yummo... then to top it off these little taste in pic 🤤🤤🤤🤤 kids menu was cool too boy loved his burger.

Absolutely tasteless pizzas made with canned tomato sauce and the minimum amount of cheese possible. We were in a group of 6, all commented about the food low quality.
It’s such a pity that a stunning and huge place like this isn’t able to offer at least average quality food :/

Went there for dinner last night.
Service by staff was excellent.
Food was good.
Atmosphere was average.
Live music was a touch too loud for what was promoted as a dining space.
Should be called Bar and Pub.

Very little to like about this place. I was there for a work function, crammed inbetween two other functions that comprised of members of what must have been a neck tattoo club. They still had the restaurant open on the otherside of the central bar, which was understaffed by 3 brave souls. I can't rate the menu, but the finger food that was being dished out, well I'd rather eat my fingers.

What an amazing venue and outlook. I absolutely loved the food, recommend the salt and pepper squid for entree and for the main, the lunch special, beef cheeks, they are by far the best I’ve ever had and I hope they make them a permanent addition to the menu. Staff were really friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Looking forward to getting back there. Thank you for a great day.

Came here for lunch with hubby. Brilliant service by our attentive waitress. Lovely view of the river from our table. Beautifully presented food and the Panacotta and berries dessert was delicious!

Service was disgraceful, especially with a particular bartender whose actions were appalling in regards to serving drinks. Management was just as bad, who did nothing to resolve the issue. They were not accommodating at all and will never be back. Would not recommend to anyone

Went there last Saturday and was very impressed with the drinks, espresso martini, service and staff, just had the pub food. Which was also great calamari was delicious. Dj afterwards with a little dance or two. Looking forward to next time.

Went for an anniversary dinner on a Thursday evening. Thought the staff were friendly, informative & attentive. Food was really good & we even received a complimentary glass of champagne which was a nice touch! We enjoyed our evening & will definitely go back again ��

Very happy to visit The Point again and more than happy to recommend to friends and family. Lunch on Sunday 5 November we enjoyed kingfish sashimi and oysters ponzu for entrees, snapper and pork belly for mains, we shared chocolate fondant for dessert. All meals were delicious, delivered timely, service was really good too. We suspect we were forgotten about after we'd finished our mains as we had to call someone over, but all good, the experience overall was excellent 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My children and I are sitting here right now. We have had the most lovely experience here. The staff have been so welcoming and attentive. My kids are so impressed with the food the word is “delicious”! I bought my staff here for our Christmas party and it was so lovely. My husband bought me here for Valentines 2017...... it was gorgeous.
I’ve been here for several lunches over the last 11months and I’ve never been disappointed.
Please support this lovely business in its amazing location. But not so much I can’t get a booking. ��

I had high expectation of the Point Bar and Grill based on other reviews. I was disappointed with the overall experience though. The venue is fantastic, with lovely views across the river and a nice relaxed feel. But maybe a little too relaxed? Despite being nearly empty the service was very slow. I ordered the twice cooked pork belly for main. For $37 the dish came with two beautifully cooked scallops and one thin slice of pork belly. The pork belly lacked flavour. It could have been lifted by the fennell and apple but that was pretty hard to find on the dish. I don't mind small serves. But if you're going big prices and small serves then the food has to be amazing. This food was average at best. I'd got here again for cocktails but I don't think I'd bother with the mains. Maybe the share dishes would be worth trying.

Food was really good here. The beef cheek in particular was very tender and portion was great value for money.<br/>Service was decent as well and big bonus of the night were the $10 cocktails! <br/>Good ambience and vibes. Would recommend as a friday night spot if you enjoy a place that isnt infested with people.

The initial impression was great and the handsome bar manager was a gem. The food was generally good but not amazing...but we had an issue with the service. The price isn’t really worth it, unfortunately.

Such a wonderful spot for a group/family catch-up lunch or a few drinks with friends. Can't believe this place was as quiet as it was today...felt like Perth's little secret with the sun beaming on the drinks deck and lovely inside. Staff wonderful, food almost there and the setting is just magical. Thanks guys.

Well, well, well, I wasn’t too excited to come to this part of town after a previous encounter disaster, downstairs in the same establishment. Say no more😆<br/>But what a sneaky surprise it has been to have a very enjoyable meal that tastes as well as it costs; entrees and mains chosen were ALL on point for the night. The attentive staff were great, so to the dj pumping party classics throughout the course of the night..<br/>My partner and I had a great time and has definitely pumped some interest back into these quarters for us when previously it was a no go zone. Well done The Point!

Shewhomuss and I celebrated our anniversary here for lunch today. Overall I was very happy with our meal and would recommend for a special meal. The views of the river from the upstairs venue are lovely. And they have cleverly used moveable screens and roofs so that even on this cool winter day our balcony table had a feeling of being outside whilst still being warm and cosy. We had mains and shared a dessert. The lamb rump with lentils was delicious. Good quality meat, well cooked and the rich sauce was a great accompaniment. The fish of the day was banded snapper fillet, served with mash and cherry tomatoes. The fish skin was nicely crisp and well seasoned. The mash was good. The only negative of the meal was this portion size: it was mean, surprisingly so given the generosity of the lamb dish. Bit of a shame. It should have been larger. Or the staff should indicated the size and recommended getting a side dish. We shared the lime tart which was well presented with scorched meringue, pistachio brittle, flowers and a clever black sesame ice cream. Well done. We will come here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food and service here. We had the lamb cutlets, olives and calamari as starters followed by the pork belly as mains with some fries for sides. All of our food were cooked well - the lamb cutlet was my favorite.

First time to The Point Bar and Grill and I will definitely be back! The staff were great-friendly and super helpful. My mum is a Coeliac and all the staff were so accommodating, from the food to her Espresso Martini (which was delicious) it was great! A big thankyou and well done for that. Food was fantastic, tasty and beautifully presented. Couldn’t fault anything! Will be back.

The place was lively on a Saturday evening but not overly busy, probably because there are a few other eateries to choose from in the complex.<br/>The atmosphere was good, and so was the food and service. Couldn't fault the service and the meals would have got another faultless mark, but for a small portion of barramundi , and one veal cutlet being slightly over. Apart from that they were delicious. Would go again and recommend.<br/>

I’ve been here twice now. My first was for lunch on a Sunday & I couldn’t fault the day. I returned last night for a meal and the staff were attentive and the food was good but unfortunately I & the party I was with couldn’t get out of there quick enough because of the deafening music that was being pumped through every speaker in the place. The venue is a ‘bar & grill’ but the music was nightclub issue and we could literally not talk to each other. I mentioned to staff who just laughed it off. What a shame no one from management was able to grasp the situation.

This has to be one of the most overpriced uninspiring places to eat in Perth. The location is amazing the food is ordinary at best Tasteless crap accompanied by music that loud you will struggle to hold a conversation. Will not be going back again. My pockets are now empty. Very disappointed and feel ripped off. Eat there at your own risk

Excellent food and great service. It was such a pity that I walked out with a headache from having to yell over the sound from the DJ and then the live music. I was looking for a good restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and we ended up eating in a nightclub.

We dropped in on Christmas eve for a sunset drink and some dinner. The pizza was really good and the view was fabulous. They have live entertainment on Sunday evenings and a great outdoor deck overlooking the river. The service is friendly and the vibe is chilled. Will definitely go back next time we're in Perth.

This is a very relaxing place with a great view. Noise was ok given its a bar. Food was good quality but small serves. Service was friendly and the bar service easy to use...didn’t have to wait long. Give it a go on day the sea breeze is howling though...should be great.

Great venue, good drinks menu, good service but the blandest food I’ve eaten above a “fast food” price point. Our group of 5 ordered multiple mains, all devoid of taste or seasoning. Really disappointing given the amazing location. ( never been more thankful for the salt and pepper shakers on the table ).

If you want to pay for overpriced roast lamb and peas with mint jelly this is the place for you. Seriously uninspired menu that is grossly overpriced, with tiny portions.<br/><br/>Service was great, they've done a great job hiring their front of house staff.

Popped in here for dessert Saturday night. The seats are comfortable. The view is alright, depending on where you're sitting. The floor staff are nice. The Cheesecake Sundae (or "Sunday" on the bill) was very berry-y, but lacking in the crushed biscuits mentioned on the menu. The Blackberry 'Pavlova' was nice; berries and cream under a reasonable sized piece of hard meringue. The dinner menu looked decent.
