This is now one of our favourite burger joints! This is literally our lunch time go to when we fly in from work! and yes, we go all in and always go over the top with doubling up on our burgers (fifo food is definitely not amazing for two weeks straight!).
We have recommended it to all of our friends, the Vic Park store is close, convenient, funky and all the staff have always been really good and of course, the burgers are delicious!
I’ve always loved a good burger, and since trying the burgers here, I don’t go anywhere else. Cant recommend enough.
Great place! Great food and great people, staff are always smiling even in the kitchen during a busy service! The foods worth every cent and the bottomless iced tea is the icing on the cake!

Went today and got a Frankenstein and chips. Came out fast and was the best burger i have ever had. Having been around Perths and Melbournes best burger joints i can safely say that the Frankenstein is in a class of its own.
Seriously the best chicken burgers in Perth � would highly recommend/10. You also can’t go passed the unlimited iced tea �

Good in terms of quantity. There’s so much inside the burger however, everything has the same taste. There’s no balance of flavours inside the burger. Price was fair.
The staff here are awesome. They know how to make fantastic quality burgers and they know how to deliver the best service imaginable. Can’t recommend enough and the burgers are incredible
The chicken wings are the bomb!!! Always packed with a decent crowd throughout the week. I have yet to try the burgers but they got to be good.
I ordered Durty south (hot sauce chicken burger) and Onion ring with chipotle mayo sauce. Burger is nice but not the onion ring. Service is good.
Holy crap! The Stevie wonder is the best burger on the planet. So juicy, spicy, flavorful. I haven't found a better burger yet. The customer service is great, burgers and fries are amazing, their little fried chickens are good too.
The speciality burgers are insane. I had the Frankenstein it was absolutely amazing. The flavour in the pulled pork will blow your mind. One downside I asked for the kids meal without sauce which did not happen. This is not my first time and will not be my last absolutely worth driving 50km for. Simply delicious. Sorry no photos I could not wait that long.
I've eaten here once, but it took me back to LA in 1999. Very much that American burger taste that is missing from the fast food chain burgers. It's no In and Out burger, but it IS pretty damn good.
Update: I ate here again recently - my review still stands. Killer Banana milkshake. Recommended.

Top notch burger! Loving the chicken burger, it was really tender and juicy. The bun was fluffy and slightly sweet which I assume it is due to the brioche bun that they use, I'm definitely loving the taste! The chips were YUM too!
We ordered:
- Chicken Royal: the outer part of the chicken had a really nice crunch, inner part was just pure juicy flesh
- The Stevie Wonder: if you’re a beefie person, you must get this and you won’t regret!
- Fries and Onion Rings: both were served in baskets - really huge portions. I was so in love with the onion rings, they were NOT the typical rings, they’re the skinny type with real onion covered with NON-oily batter. Usually I would’ve felt really greasy and oily after eating onion rings, but, This one was just purely AMAZING! The dipping sauce (mustard and chilli mayo) matched perfectly with the onion rings and fries
I'm hoping to try the wings when I visit Royal's in mear future. If it's not the top burger joint in Perth, it's definitely one of the best burgee joints in WA.
Amazing burger place in vic park! I had the durty south burger which is fried tight fillet with bacon and cheese. It is absolutely delicious.
Went for lunch and we got The Stanley and the Popcorn chicken Po’Boy. Simply Amazing! Everything was fresh and tasty and surprisingly light for a burger.

I’m a regular at this place, go ~3 times a week since it opened. Probably the best burgers in Perth (I’ve been to most places). Tonight (13/12/18) there were two new kids at the front, seems they didn’t know that people wait outside, out of consideration for the limited floor space inside the store. I noticed a bag sitting on the counter for 15 minutes, when it was given to me I asked for it to be remade. After the kid talked to the owner, it was given back to me and I was informed that it can’t be remade. That’s customer and integrity 101, and I need a reason not to eat so many burgers. I won’t be going back and won’t be recommending it to anyone else anymore. You don’t send out cold, sub-par food because of staff mistakes and then think it’s not your problem. Unacceptable customer service, and unforgivable coming from the owner. I was shocked, because customer service from Adam and the girls is usually great. Obviously it doesn’t come from the top down, and I can’t go back now out of principle. It’s been good ✌️
One of the best burgers going around! and the chicken outrageously good! Only feedback would be more floor staff needed - it’s was a mad house in there trying to order With phone pick ups, tables left with food of it for ages as she just could keep up; and the unlimited refills adds all other kinds of issues for the lovely girl on the register.
Decided on a takeaway from Royal’s recently. Good burgers and onion rings. You can choose the level of spiciness for the buffalo wings. We picked just the second level and it sure gives a punch.

It can also get really crowded there and you end up sharing your table with strangers who are literally elbow to elbow with you and another stranger literally sitting back to back to you. It’s fortunate that I’m a friendly person...lol :) :)
Went here and a Saturday afternoon after seeing it on competition eater Randy Santels tour of Australia videos. The place had good reviews. It did not disappoint and it is a good burger place. I got the RoyAl’s burger which had a breadcrumb chicken thigh, salad and a “fancy sauce” (delicious) with brioche bun. 4/5 for the burger just tasty and delicious and not too oversized or too much extras, less is more they say and that’s what I prefer. Partner got the Chicken PO boy which was huge and tasty with blue cheese sauce. The Cajun crispy wings were ok I just thought the Cajun skin on the wings were too overdone and dry 3/5. There is lots of choices good food will go back. One of the better burger places and way better than Alfred’s in Guildford with less waiting time and queue but I do hear the queues can get big here too.
Recently visited the new branch in Northbridge but have also been to this one in Vic Park.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the burgers here are insaaanely good - the buns are perfectly toasted, the fillings packed on and the patties... oh my word, they’re simultaneously juicy and crispy at the same time. It’s not the healthiest place to eat out but hey, we’re here for a good time not a long time and I definitely had a good time here 🤤
Have received really great service both times I’ve been and the affordable prices add to an even better experience. Will definitely be back to try the other items they have on offer.
These Burgers are probably the best burgers I’ve ever tried. So consistent every single time I go. Chips are crisp and the burger options are great.

One bite and there's a blast of flavours in a perfect balance. A Sunday lunch well spent. Shall definitely be visiting more often to try other options :)

The greatest burgers you will ever eat! I finally went to RoyAls a month ago and have been back atleast once a week since, expecting atleast something that might tarnish its Godly reputation but i cannot fault a thing. The half hour drive is worth it.
Burgers. I have tried the RoyAl with cheese, Chicken royAl (both with and without cheese and bacon), Bernie Mac, El Diablo, Chicken po boy and Stevie wonder (with veggie pattie). The burgers arent huge. And the first time i attended i thought i could deffo squeeze another burger in afterwards if i wanted to be really full. Personally I think this makes it a nice change rather than ending in a super carb overloaded food coma. Although if you were seeking this, the Po Boy was bread dense and they have a 'next level' burger range which seem like you will need to bring ya fat pants for!
Ok lets start with the veggie pattie. Vegetarians rejoice! A veggie pattie that is moist and packed full of flavour? It truly exists! Each burger can have this subbed in and after the recommendation to add to the stevie, i was not dissapointed!
Angus beef patties are PHENOMENAL. So tender and so juicy and cooked to perfection and not a greasy, stale mess like a lot of burger joints.(bernie mac, el diablo, royal with cheese)
Buttermilk fried chicken will melt in your mouth. I thought i was floating on a cloud. The flavour is unbelieveable. Zero grease but 1000% flavour. Not a chicken burger fan as i find they can be blad, but RoyAls do it justice like youve never tasted(chicken royal, chicken po boy).
Would recommend the onion rings and tater tots as sides. Both a nice difference to fries. The fried tofu is an absolute MUST for vegetarians. It came with an unexpected (and welcomed!) spice to it. Bottomless iced tea if ya feeling extra parched is a great touch too.
As far as recommendations go, the Bernie Mac (RoyAls answer to a big mac) and Chicken RoyAl would be my top pucks. Cheap, flavorful and simple is the best kind or burger and RoyAls make a damn, tasty burger!!

One word... wow. Tried the Stevie Wonder and it blew my mind. Meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the spice level was just right. Will be coming back to try their other burgers, but if you’re in the area, come here, you won’t be disappointed.
Took me a while to find this place but I'm glad I did. RoyAl's has easily become one of my favourite burger places in Perth, every experience I've had here I've left with a satisfied stomach and dreams of the delicious meal I've just had.
Both the chicken and beef burgers are made wonderfully, they're tender, juicy, topped with delicious sauces and fresh crunchy vegetables. All elements of the burger create texture and flavour that carries on until you've downed the whole burger.
The menu has plenty of options to share with friends at reasonable prices. The buffalo wings are a steal and a must try as well as the Gringo Fries topped with flavoursome pulled pork.
The service is great, however the place is small. Expect to wait during busy hours.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for a burger experience, bring your friends!
My partner and I’s actual addiction! Once you’ve eaten from here there’s no question why it’s always packed to the brim. The most delicious burgers and fried chicken you’ll ever have. We’ve turned all our family and friends onto them and they all agree royals is brilliant!
Easily amongst the top burgers in Perth, you simply have to pay these guys a visit. Beef is always great, loads of cheese, delicious fried chicken and a great variety of sauces. Simply all their ingredients are of the highest quality and it shows in the taste. Will be a frequent visitor here!

The burger are always cooked to perfection with the right amount of every ingredient used. Everything I went here I just feel my soul being satisfied and there is no greater treat than this!
Let’s start with the BUFFALO WINGS 🍗
The slice was absolutely perfect. The wings are served with a blue cheese sauce and celery and I must say that to some people the blue cheese sauce 🧀 can be over powering but to me personally the slicker the wing the better the blue cheese sauce 🧀 taste! The buffalo wings here are a definite favourite and they’re definitely a go to for me !
next up would be the B.O.W ( Burger of the week) 🍔
The burger was delicious however was different from the other burgers of the week that I’ve tried here. This burger had macaroni and cheese 🧀 and bacon 🥓 and cheese 🧀 and two beef 🥩 patties in between a well toasted bun. The only thing I found missing was the ‘crunch’ factor but despite that this burger 🍔 was amazing !
The tater tots 🍟 were cooked to perfection n wa super taste with the sauce.
OVERALL once again I would highly recommend this place if you’re diggin a good burger 🍔 and did I mention if you re up for ONLY $6 you get BOTTOMLESS ICE TEA? 😩😏
Yummo. Had the buffalo po boy roll. So so good. Didnt have to wait long for my order. Definate thumbs up. Side of fries with dill mustard also yummy. Will definately be going back for more.
Went in on a busy Friday night with the kids, ordered a burger, buttermilk chicken wings, fries and gluten free onion wings. Loved it soo much. They said there would be a 30 minute wait as it was busy, and it was, but we got our food in just under 30minutes. Really happy with flavours and how moist the chicken was, hubby loved his burger and I enjoyed gluten free chicken wings and onion rings. Great vibe in the place too and excellent service, looking for my next excuse to go. And call me crazy, i loved the celery sticks too.
If you enjoy burgers, shakes and fries then y’all gotta try this place!! I lean more towards hot and spicy, so the El Diablo is a must, then I’m a big fan of the classics, so the Roy Al with Cheese! Hot Wings with the chipotle mayo! And who doesn’t love Tater Tots aka Potato Gems!? To top it off a chocolate thick shake to take it to that diabetic coma level!!
Best fried chicken ever. Burgers were amazing and serves are very generous. Low key basic restaurant but nice friendly service and tasty food. Will return when back in Perth.
Would have given this place 5 stars if not for the disappointing onion rings. We had the chicken royal and the Steve burger and both burgers were delicious. The side of mac and cheese was the best part of the whole meal - you definitely have to try it if you’re there. The onion rings were such a letdown though - soggy, chewy and wet. This place gets busy during dinner time and sometimes it’s difficult to get a table so get there early.
Great place for burgers and onion rings! This time we got the fried chicken poboy instead and it came with a very generous serving of onion rings and love the bottomless iced tea that came with it!
The popcorn chicken was so tasty and crispy. The bun was nice and toasty and the sauce went very well with the chicken. The iced teas were very nice and refreshing too. The onion rings were the best, very onion-y and not as breaded as they usually are at other places.
The waitstaff were so nice and attentive. Come for the ice teas.
service, impeccable! the young girl behind the counter was friendly, helpful and courteous, the burger was delicious and I smashed it down within 2 mins, delicious onion rings too, I hadn't been back to Perth for a few years but was pleasantly surprised with the way Vic Park has evolved.
Kale salad. That is what the 5 star rating is for. That's right, my favourite item at a burger and fried chicken place is a salad. Crazy? Perhaps. However what's really crazy is how good this thing is despite the fact that it has kale in it. At $4 a portion I can't complain. I love the dressing, how the walnuts add a satisfying crunch and the sweetness of the apple in it.
The burgers are good, the patties are a bit too thin for my liking but they are good. Not great, but good. The fried chicken didn't wow me. The chicken wings here are fun, although I must warn you that they are spicy. Order any of these things if you like, but don't forget to try the salad.
They also have a large variety of dips/sauces to try which can be fun.

I went to the one in Wembley which doesn’t seem to be on here. We had the standard chicken burger, fries, Jamaican chicken and slaw with a side of tater tots. Flavours were all good and someone has clearly done their research on American cuisine. The fried chicken in the burger was excellent and well spiced like they come in the south of the US. Chicken was tender and well marinated and the fries were just nice . My one gripe was that they had run out of fried green tomatoes which when done right can be a total winner. Lots on the menu to try and I’ll be back again to try some more of it. They do a monster burger too and that is huge! Well done Roy and Al.
Been wanting to try out this place for ages but it was always busy and no table available when ever we are here. Finally came round to try it out for a late lunch. Had the chicken burger which was delicious. Chips were hot and crispy. Service was friendly and definitely will come back again.
Excellent service, burgers are well put together and to die for- the best beef and chicken burgers in Perth I've ever had. They have a massive range of options but I recommend the Stevie Wonder in all its glory or the Chicken RoyAl- deliciously crispy.
This place does burgers that are well-made and don't leave a pile of grease on your plate. The 'tater tots' (potato gems) with blue cheese sauce are a great combination, as well as the various american speciality items that are sold as well.
When I visit I usually get the classic RoyAl burger, while my partner gets a fun combination of a speciality burger with fries inside. We've tried their milkshakes, sweet iced tea, and some of the sides, but keep coming back for the burgers. Why complicate a good thing? (The drinks are great too, but you can accidentally overdo it by ordering too much good stuff).
It gets VERY noisy when busy, which is usually during lunch times all weekend. Regardless, every time I've visited I was treated incredibly well by the staff, and we've never had a problem with the food. It's made fresh and to a great standard every time, with very reasonable wait times.
We had a burger, popcorn chicken and fried chicken thighs with some tater tots. Really good, pickles were a great addition to cleanse the palate from the grease. Was my first but won't be my last visit.

Read a lot of reviews of how good this place was and it definitely lived up to its expectations! We ordered the chicken royal, onion rings and buffalo wings. Never really been a chicken burger type of person but this was just amazing! Onion rings were really good with the spicy chipotle I think it’s called, it was actually spicy which I love. Buffalo wings were okay, the burger was definitely the star of the show, a must try!

Finally got to try this place and wow. Shared a “next level burger” the King of Crowns which was amazing. Ground Angus beef, bacon, cheese, slaw, fries, Mac n cheese, onion rings & pickles!!! Burgers are well priced starting from $12. Served in baskets like Varsity. They have a great selection of wings on the menu & crazy shakes. Staff were great. I’ll def be back

Fantastic food and service from wings to burgers to fried chicken and delicious sides. The food speaks for itself but I’ve got to praise the outstanding service we received for a takeaway order for 10 people. From placing the order to pickup at the quoted time of 25 mins (on a Saturday night with sides and wings!!!) everything was faultless and the food superb as always. Well played team, you suitably impressed a handful of new converts and the rest of us regulars just nodded and smiled with a smug “i told you so” look on our faces.

Great food, excellent value for money! The chicken was tender, delicious and actually a really good serving size! The mac and cheese is seriously good, none of this fake boring Mac and cheese! Awesome meal and for $30 for two people meals and a drink, such amazing value!
Love the buttermilk fried chicken and onion rings here. Chicken is always cooked well- juicy and delicious; and onion rings, crispy. Shoestring fries and tater tots are good, but even better with their sauces. Burger buns are nice and light, though we prefer their chicken & pork burgers over beef burgers. Beef patties are usually juicy with a bit of pinkness in the centre, which is fantastic, but sometimes the patties just miss the mark. Chicken and pulled pork burgers, however, have always been consistently great and delicious. Mac-n-cheese is alright, better to have it as a side on its own, rather than in a burger ('King Of Crowns'- burger got a bit too mushy). A good place for comfort food every now and then.
Best burger in Perth I have had yet. Got the Stevie Wonder minus the bacon (I don't like bacon) and it was absolutely beautiful. Partner got the Bernie Mac, which I had to have a bite of, and it also was very nice. Can't wait to head back, and this time try a shake as they looked the goods also 👍👍👍

Hungover and needing a bit of sustenance, RoyAl’s caught my slightly blurry eye. What better than a burger to satisfy? Well, my one from RoyAl’s really delivered the goods. Best brioche bun ever, delicious meat and pickles and the perfect amount of sauce. Bloody brilliant.
I tried the Chicken RoyAl burger which was pretty good - buns were nicely toasted, the chicken was tender and nicely seasoned and sauce was amazing. I also order a side of fries which did not come with sauce so it was pretty dry and tasted average. Would definitely come back again tho!

Burgers were both packed with delicious flavours and textures.
Tater tots were nice and crunchy, and were made even better with the dipping sauce(s). I couldn't decide which sauce to order with the tater tots so we were given an extra one for free which was really nice.
Will definitely be back again!
Visited RoyALs today with mates for early dinner.
Second time today. Last time tried the buttermilk fried chicken burger. Today tried their El Diablo burger with angus beef, cheese, jalapenos, bacon, onion rings & habanero mayo. The buns were nice and soft and the meat was perfectly cooked. Had a chocolate milkshake to wash it down. Mates had normal cheese burger and chicken burger with chips and drinks. Service was given by a waitress who very friendly and doing a double shift may have caused her to delay my milkshake. But she apologised and bothered to ask how our food was. Hence a higher score.

The burgers here are legit good. My patty was pink and juicy and was a decent thickness so there was no need to double up. BEST onion rings ever too and I loved the smokey chipotle mayo.
The fries, Mac n cheese and buffalo wings were average.
We shared a toasted smores waffle for dessert which was generously topped and pretty damn good.

Dropped in for some takeaway chicken at the Wembley branch. Prompt service with a smile, good looking new restaurant setup. Got buttermilk fried chicken thighs ($14), gangnam wings ($12) and medium heat buffalo wings ($12).
Those thighs. Redolent with spices (onion powder? Garlic? Paprika?), juicy yet crisp. The pickles help cut the fat. Something to order again. The wings were on the small side - each wing was about half the size of a wicked wing from KFC. Tiny. Buffalo wings had a great buttery sauce and creamy dipping sauce and the spice level was good. I wasn't too taken by the gangnam wings, had better at Korean fried chicken places (as it should be).
I'll be back.

Came here on wednesday for the all you can eat chicken wings for $20. To be honest I was a little disappointed because before purchasing this I asked if the special applied to all the flavours of wings which the guy said yes. after ordering the first batch we were then informed that the all you can eat wings only applied to the buffalo wings. Hrmmm If I was told prior I wouldn't have ordered this as I'm a person who likes variety. The chicken was dry and the flavour was okay.
We also ordered fries which were super crispy and was also lacking in flavour.
The saver of the night was the cheese burger. The patty was cooked medium so it was juicy in the inside. They were also very generous on pickles which is a win in my books.
I'm not dying to come back anytime soon but I would've back eventually. The prices are pretty standard and you may have to wait for a seat due to this place being super busy most times
Americana goodness! We ordered the Durty Chicken and Standard Chicken burger with a side of onion rings and chips!
What a mouthful! The shoestring chips had amazing seasoning and the rings were thin but GOOD! Matched with the mustard n fill mayo and chipotle mayo! Super tasty. The burgers were good but I really loved the sides! Great service also and a steady stream of happy clients .. bonus BYO! We'll be back! Or visiting the Wembley store soon .. 1 star off cause the windows were grubby and it's a bad look for restaurant
The menu is extensive, but all sounds delicious. Prices are more than reasonable, and there’s something for everyone. The Bernie Mac ($11.00) was simply wow. The patty barely held together, brimming with juices and cheese clinging tenderly. I love the fine chop on the lettuce to provide a nice fluffy yet crisp layer. The creole remoulade is their take on big mac sauce and it is gooooood. Highly recommend this burger!
I had a Frankenstein Burger, Onion Rings w. Jalapeno Cheese Sauce and a Bottomless Ice Tea. It as all incredible.
We also had BYO wine, which made for a totally reasonably priced night out!
There were two reasons I didn't give it 5;
1) it was so freaking busy I could barely get a seat; and
2) the wine glasses were dirty,
One of the best American-style burgers I've eaten in Perth! I ordered the traditional RoyAl with cheese burger. Loved the food and great service, it's just a shame that the venue is quite small so if the place is busy it could be difficult to get a seat.
Beautiful burgers and we had a side of Mac and cheese with jalapeno cheese. Really nice flavour with just the right amount of heat! Had the iced tea which was really nice too! Very busy which is a good thing and sold out of food an hour before closing!
Closest you're going to get to American burger magic in Perth. I love that they have Po boys on the menu because I wasn't sure where I was going to find some after New Orleans. Now I know where to go ;)
A great feed is to be had at Royal Als. This is exceptional burger fare backed by warm and friendly service. Great all you can drink iced tea and a nice variety of burgers plus wings and loaded fries. Check it out. My tip: get there by 7pm as it gets super busy and it isn't a large restaurant.
The chicken royal with cheese is the business! Love the burgers and sides. So delicious! But I also love the service. I have an allergy and the staff are always friendly and accommodating - nothing seems like a hassle. Royals is the best 😀
Another burger joint with heaps of options. The lady was super patient while we took forever to make then change our order. We choose the pulled pork burger, gringo fries and a beef cheeseburger with creole sauce (forget the name). The food arrived quickly but thought it could've been a bit hotter. My pulled pork burger tasted great and the gringo fries were nice - probably a bit spicy for my liking but I have a low spicy threshold! There's paintings for sale on the wall and a cool mural on the other.
Wanted to love this place. The food was fantastic! Well except the onion rings they're a huge dissapointment.. way way too thin. Service is pretty shoddy. Seems like the front end staff need more training. Had an issue with our order and they'd also run out of items (mac & cheese and by 1.30pm?) yet charged for them without then letting us know. We had to follow up ourselves. They were throwing attitude out there when they should be rectifying mistakes they've made. Or at least trying too.
This place is amazing, the best friend chicken in Perth! Amazing burgers as well, love the chips and Mac n cheese sides as well. The bottomless ice tea is amazing as well. And nothing is to oily! All very fresh and tasty. This place is now in my top 10 in Perth!
This place is always busy especially on the weekend. Finally get to try them. Food came out pretty quickly despite their busy restaurant. We ordered the Chicken RoyAl and Frankenstein burger. The burger fillings are tasty and tender, we quite like how they combine their different ingredients flavour there. However we thought the burger buns could be a bit more than normal seeded bun, perhaps with either a damper or more gourmet burger buns or even brioche buns would make it a lot better and goes well with the filling. The buffalo hot wings on another hand is pretty good, they're fried in perfection and the hot sauce is really tasty. We also have the ice tea to drink.
Burgers are lovely. The bun is soft and the meat is nice. Their chicken wings also great. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is not too big but still nice.

The staff were accommodating of dietary requirements and provided recommendations and variations to the menu.

One of the best burger bars in Perth! We've tried almost every burger on the menu, including the freakin massive Frankenstein! Each burger has their own character, no two burgers are the same. It's like going on a taste adventure with every bite, all have been excellent in taste and price value.
The wings are also quite unique and a great addition to any burger meal. The unlimited lemon tea is also unique, although we never get past 3 cups.
Overall, a must visit once a week for us!
One of my favourite burger joints in Perth. Service is excellent and customers are given the option to swap any meat patty for the veg bean patty.
Delicious and juicy burgers! Would 110% recommend the 'El Diablo', the beef is juicy, it's done medium, the jalapeños in there make a difference, the burger isn't dry, every ingredient in it has a purpose. My partner ordered the 'Chicken RoyAl' and was pretty pleased but it wasn't amazing. We shared sides of 'Mac & cheese', 'Onion rings' with chipotle mayo, and 6-piece 'Cajun Crunchy Wings'. The mac & cheese was bland but the onion rings were stringy and delicious! The wings were small but still made a decent side. Everything was decently priced and everything in the picture below added up to $47.00 in total (Includes everything listed above and 2 lemon lime bitters). Orders came out really fast as well, I will be back and I do recommend this place for warm, comfy food.
These are hands down the best burgers I've had in Perth and I've had em all. A seriously indulgent and very reasonably priced for how good they are. Love that RoyALs doesn't overcharge for extras, extra jalapeños is something like 30 or 50c rather than 1$ for anything extra like loads of places. My favourite is the Stevie Wonder without bacon. Amazing selection of sauces for chips and ITS BYO!!! Such a great place with friendly and accommodating staff :).
The restaurant was absolutely buzzing. A very modest small shop that serves great food all round. I had the buffalo wings which were cooked really well; but I wish they had more sauce over them so I could get more flavours out of them. The fries were great, & their mac & cheese was incredible - a must have.
If you plan on dining in be mindful of what time you'll get there, as the few tables fill very quickly.
I'm a huge burger fan. I have tried pretty much every burger place in Perth and this is totally my favourite after just one visit. Had the Stevie Wonder burger and it was amazing, best burger I've had in years. Not some stupid big burger but just the right size. I have been searching ages for a burger like this in Perth. If you're like me and you prefer a burger with flavour over the generic tasting burgers from the likes of Grill'd and V Burger then this place is for you. The gf got their new pulled pork po boy and it was really good aswell. The manager was super nice and very welcoming. Had a chat to him as we were leaving and you could tell he was super passionate about running a successful business that makes great food. Will definitely return many times.
Great service, amazing food and relaxed setting. Will be back! After their busiest weekend on record and selling out of wings and burger buns, our group snagged up the last of the brioche buns! Burgers did not disappoint at all and didn't leave you feeling greasy at all. Fresh and flavoursome produce.

We came here with another couple and boy were we glad we got there at 620! By 645 the place was buzzing and the line was almost out the door. I ordered the Chicken royAl with cheese and bacon. The photo doesn't look like much but it was pretty good. Also had a side of fries and popcorn chicken. The chips tasted like leftover old Macca's fries and popcorn chicken was only okay. I would come back though to try more burgers off the menu. The owner was pretty friendly too which is always a plus.
We've been quite a few times with our kids and love the relaxed atmosphere. Super tasty burgers and love the sides. The fries, slaw and my kids absolutely love the Mac and cheese! I usually go the chicken royAl with cheese and slaw inside. Yummo!
Not a bad little burger joint. The burgers are very tasty and I love the theme of the place. I had a cheese burger and I found it quite small and expensive for the size. I prefer to go to V burger down the road.

Visited RoyAl's chicken and burger for the too manyeth time, to once again enjoy the amazing American style cooking of The owner Al. A great setting of modern style furniture with the ambience of old and new hip hop culture makes this place an amazing atmosphere. The service is top of the line from a simple meet and greet upon entering to the fun and active crew they have working makes it an environment friendly for everyone. The food is where it is at though. I had 24 chicken wings with dipping sauce and then was the guinea pig for the all new S'mores waffle which was one of the most amazing waffles I have ever eaten and I have been to Belgium and lived in the USA for 7 years. Well worth the trip to Vic Park from freo area to enjoy great food and a great atmosphere. I recommend this place to the fullest extent and to see a small business flourish so well makes me still believe in the Aussie dream.

Did the ODB burger challenge, the triple cheeseburgers were excellent! Easily the best burgers I've had in Perth! Although, a few too many as I didn't finish the challenge. Definitely worth the $40!
Love this place! Wish it was bigger and there was more dining space as on occasions we haven't been able to get a table and have gone elsewhere. However food is great and staff always friendly. You can make any burger vegetarian which is amazing, and the sides are delicious.
What I love about this place is that they treat their customers like family. The burgers are easily the best in Perth, leaving the merrywell, short order, uncle joes and varsity shaking in their boots.
Juicy, succulent patties accompanied by the perfect relish, pickles and sides. But secretly we all know it's the bun that makes it the bomb.

After reading the reviews here we decided to give it a try. We ordered Buttermilk Chicken and Chicken PoBoy. Nice food, but to be honest I wouldn't travel from NOR just to eat here again. My chicken pieces were a little bit too oily for my liking rather than being crispy. The burger chicken was also the same so the bread was also oily. Small area for seating inside and felt a bit stuffy - open kitchen/small space/hot days = you smell like the kitchen if you stay long enough.
Simply delicious. My wife and I had the popcorn chicken based burgers with fries, tater tots and mac n cheese - everything was absolutely delicious. We've tried several American places and few come close to this place. Amazing.

At the end of the Victoria Park cafe strip lies a small but modest store where seating spills out the doors. That store is RoyAl's Chicken & Burgers. We were craving wings and decided to order the hot wings, a plate of no heat and another hot. The no heat were your fairly standard wings, however they were brushed with a punchy lemon which was a little too much for me. The hot wings were great, but very spicy after 4 wings but edible. Have yet to try the burgers, so I'll be back again to give those a shot.
Chicken was amazing! Seating is a lil cramped tho. But thats just because its so popular! Definitely worth a visit. But not is you've got a crowd
We stopped in for a late lunch at RoyAl's today, it was the first first for me. With friends speaking very highly of the burgers I tried the Chicken Royal, while my dining partner went for the cheese royal. I enjoyed my burger, the chicken tasted very fresh and was perfectly spiced, with a great crunch. I like that it was a nice piece of thigh, and not a chicken 'pattie'. The sauces were a nice flavour compliment to the fried chicken. My partner wasn't thrilled with his burger, he said it was ok but not as wonderful as he expected. I snuck a quite bite and honestly thought it was very much like a maccas double cheeseburger.
The service was great, staff were very friendly and the meals came out fast. We ordered quite basic burgers but we saw some real snazzy ones coming out to other tables. We will have to go back when we have a bigger appetite to try some of the more lavish menu options.
RoyAl's Chicken & Burgers is definitely one of the best burger places in Perth! Sometimes they sold out of their burgers because people know that they do great burgers! The shop is quite small so I usually try to avoid the rush hour by going there before peak dinner time. Sometimes we saw people queuing during weekdays at dinner time because the shop was so packed.
It was surprisingly relatively busy on a weekday but despite this, the service was efficient and friendly, and the food came out shortly after we ordered. We had the royAl with cheese and Stevie wonder burgers along with a side of tater tots. Both burgers were juicy and packed full of flavour. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The let down was the tator tots. I had high expectations based on past reviews so was sadly disappointed. To me they just tasted like your standard frozen potato gems from a packet. Don't get me wrong, they were still super crispy and delish but nothing special. My other criticism is that the place is really hot especially on a warm day (it was a 34 degree day when we went). They had fans on but it didn't do very much since it's quite small and there was limited circulation. Aside from those minor factors, I really enjoyed it and would definitely be back! It was on par with short order burger co and this place is much more conveniently located.
Lovely lovely lovely. Amazing food. So refreshing to see an American burger joint with foreign influences (Japanese amongst others). The recently updated menu improved on perfection. It is honesty very hard to find a better burger. Throw in some hot wings when you're there and it's all you ever need.

Burgers are amazing, even had it without a bun because they ran out and it was still awesome! They are extreme portions so bring your stretchy pants but you won't be disappointed! Think home made American style burgers with bottomless iced tea and tater tots! What more could you want? Oh cool staff with sassy awesome personalities to boot? Oh yeah they got that too! Awesome burgers and fries. There are very few places that do really good burgers around town but this place nails it. Delicious brioche buns, home made non cookie-cutter patties, streaky bacon... Bottomless iced tea is a nice touch. I'll be back to try the chicken ASAP.

* Toter Tots - Everyone's favourite, both adults and kids. Bite size hash brown comes with sauces of your choice, yummm...
* Samurai Wings - Perfect for little ones.
* Hot Chicks - Loved the combination of all but the sauce made the popcorn chicken went soggy quickly. Please consider separating them.
* The Stanley Burger - Standard fillings but big flavour. Patty was juicy, plenty of vegs and sauces.
* Bottomless Iced Lemon Tea - Very refreshing and not too sweet, just nice.
Would love to go back and try other stuffs next time.
All you can eat wings = awesome. Been twice, service was great the first time but pretty slow the second. We have just put it down to the busyness and will be back.

The burgers here are extremely tasty! Visited recently and had The Stanley burger. It was delicious, with a soft brioche bun and melt in your mouth meat and cheese. Next time, I think I'll make it a double as I finished it way too quickly. The fries are standard french fries and unfortunately a little soggy, however we did takeaway, so it might have been that. The onion rings are the really thin kind, my personal preference is the huge ones like at V Burger, but they were tasty all the same. Would definitely go back!
I really enjoyed the burgers. We tried The King and The Winner burgers. The beef patty was burnt but somehow the crunch added to the flavour. The popcorn chicken in The Winner was very nice and crunchy.
It's good for a quick bite when you feel like stuffing yourself.

Damn best burgers I've eaten in the entire Perth metro area. The flavours were spot on, beef patties succulent and cooked to perfection and high quality ingredients throughout (had a RoyAl with Cheese and Stevie Wonder). The flavour balance in the Stevie Wonder was a cathartic experience after a day's toil in the office, pleasing every part of my palate and the very superstitious habanero sauce warmed the cockles of my guts nicely without dominating any of the burger's key features. Service was a little bit chaotic but this can be forgiven due to a busy rush and the fact they were the best damn burgers I've eaten in Perth. I'll be going back to see if the chicken items are as good as the burgers, and I honestly cant wait to do so.
Good burgers, we both had the Stanley and we were very happy with the choice. Very simple flavours and traditional. The fries were really good too. Like others have commented, the service blah..... some young kid with no words spoken or eye contact plonked some plates on the table. The "service" is better at Hungry Jacks.

Ive been here a few times, the first time I was less impressed with how long we waited (40 minutes), however I have since learnt to ring ahead my order and fix a time for pickup - of which the team at Royals seem more than happy to do. Since doing this, my satisfaction level has gone through the roof, because this food is exceptional! These burgers are worth working out all week for - truly don't think anywhere else compares. I am obsessed with basically all of the burgers they make and will keep coming back without a doubt. They are expensive compared to others - but I believe that signifies the quality of the produce, and I believe well worth the money
If I could eat the tater tots every day, I would, no shame. Burgers and fries real good too, as a veggie I really enjoyed the superfood burger. Been there twice and will go back again!
Dropped in for a quick dinner with the husband - had a chicken po boy each....hot damn! Excellent! Popcorn chicken at its finest, and with the simple addition of iceberg lettuce, red onion and an awesome sauce, we were happy! Definitely coming back to try everything else!

Wow! What a delicious dinner! Got the po boy which was the best I've had in Perth, it was similar to the ones we had in New Orleans. Good combination of sauce, crispy popcorn chicken which went well with the bacon and cheese. Mac and cheese was ok, could've been cheesier. Crispy stuff on top added texture. Salad with blue dressing was good. Chicken wings were tasty especially with that subtle blue cheese dressing! Burger was good, good quality patty and combination of ingredients (burgers with pickles, American style, yum!). Pulled pork fries was good. The refillable ice tea was great! It tasted how it's meant to, like tea with a touch of sweet not sugar drowned Lipton. Most legit iced tea I've had here! Great dinner! I'll def be back to try more 👍🏼

Went here Sunday night with my sister after a friend recommended it. Omg it's soooo good! I got the chicken pho boy and it was delicious and a huge serving. My sister got the orginal chicken Royale burger and loved it. We shared tater tots with blue cheese sauce and they were also delicious. Everything was tasty and super fresh! Also got the bottomless ice tea and that was great too, fresh and super refreshing :) will 10000% come back!

I notice that all My favourite food"s seems to be served up in tiny cafes full of uncomfortable chairs and mismatch tables and decor !! This is another one of them . However again I am pleased to say sitting on those poxy stools is worth having a numb bum or stiff back for, cause the food is pleasing . We inhaled the Stanley. It's like a deluxe extreme HJ whopper with cheese (only a million times better).juicy, tender cheesy and just dam good . My partner had fiery chicken wings and they were good too, and left a good tingle on your lips ...but the burger was the winner . Defiantly returning to try other items.

Now I don't usually eat fried chicken, but the buttermilk fried chicken served here is Devine, especially with jalapeño & cheese sauce! Shoestring fries yum! And the burgers were simple but packed so much flavour. Service was average but hey the place was packed so I understand things get like this whilst under the pump. Will be back again for sure! Best burgers & chicken.
Loving the burgers here especially the beef the brioche buns and the condiments are amazing too I think abit harsh to say not gourmet from one of the other reviews I consider myself a reasonable connoisseur of burgers as I've tried many and this place matches up with some of the best burger joints in perth!! The popcorn chicken burger was also amazing accompanied with a ranch sort of sauce this is the 2nd time I've been in 1 week so big thumbs up :)

RoyAl’s Chicken & Burgers is a casual dining American styled eatery serving burgers, buttermilk fried chicken, tater tots, mac & cheese, and shakes among American classics on their menu. Not gourmet, but not greasy fast food, this is something in between. Good honest food that will satisfy. I got the chicken RoyAl burger which had a lovely shiny gloss on the top of the bun. Biting in, there’s an actual chunk of perfectly moist chicken thigh covered in a crispy crunchy coating. The fancy sauce does the trick in livening up the lettuce and tomato, making the combination of ingredients in each bite one to enjoy. I also got a side of tater tots which I’ve never eaten before. They’re like nugget sized hash browns, nice and crunchy on the outside, soft potato on the inside. A nice accompaniment to my burger. I was eyeing desserts but the pecan pie is no longer so I went with the cronut filled with chocolate custard, ice cream atop and cherry ripe. Decadent, indulgent, naughty, and so bad, yet so good. Yes, this dessert has it all. The rich buttery croissant with salty explosions and the doughnut feel combines perfectly with the ingredients to work together in creating a tasty morsel with each bite. So yum, so full with a friendly bunch of guys to make the visit one to enjoy.
One of the best burgers you'll find in Perth. Only Varsity compares. Brilliant and I live in Vic Park so this will be a regular. Couldn't fault anything.

I think Hungry Jack should give their tag line to RoyAl because the burger really are better at RoyAl! I seriously in Love with their beef burger!!! Thick and juicy australian beef patty mixed with the right ingredient! The only downside was the portion a bit small (smaller compared to other burger place here) so I was not actually full by just eating 1 burger.
My recommendation for the burger would be The Stanley or the El Diablo if you want something slightly spicier but is still damn delicious - trust me I don't really eat spicy food but El Diablo is just perfect! If only the portion was bigger.
RoyAl is also famous for their chicken wing but unfortunately I find their chicken average. Ordinary. Yes they have different level of spiciness. My friend ordered the really hot one (super saiyan level of hotness). One word: don't. The medium and hot level are preferrable. It's fun though watching your friends burn and sweat out eating the really hot chicken wings haha. But don't worry they have bottomless lemon ice tea to quench your thirst and save you from all the spiciness.
In conclusion: awesome burger - will probably come back again just for the burger!
OMG. Finally a decent burger joint in Perth that makes beautiful, juicy, pink on the inside burgers on brioche with most importantly, shoe string fries!!! Why don't more burger places in Perth do shoestring fries? Thick cut chips are so not a burger's best friend.
The burger (Stanley) was absolutely delicious. Moist, fresh ingredients in a tasty and soft brioche bun. The fries were something else. Obviously hand cut as you can see the rough skin. Salty, crisp and amazing.
I also got the fried chicken with a side for $14. Pretty tasty but not the best FC I've had in Perth. But the Tayter Tots (Potato gems) that came with them brought back many tasty memories of childhood meals.
Purely for the burger I would have scored 4.5/5 (lost .5 for cost) but because the chicken wasn't as tasty as the burger, they lose half a point. But Roy'Al's still score a strong 4.
I've been here twice now, had the chicken po boy and King of crowns. The Po boy is good, really good, but the King of crowns is next level. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The buttermilk fried chicken was also insanely good.

Hands down the best burger I've ever eaten! Loved it. I ordered The Stanley burger and I loved everything about it. The beef was amazing, cooked very well and great quality. The bun was brioche but not too "airy" as I find most brioche buns to be very light which I'm not a huge fan of. The amount of filling - lettuce, tomato, pickles and cheddar - was perfect. I would 100% recommend going her for a burger. I was shocked to see only a 3.2 rating. Definitely a 5/5 from me.
Went there and ordered El Diablo burger, it was really good. Great service too. Definitely coming back and going to try their hot chicken wings next time. I hope it's really hot and spicy, good to combine with blue cheese dipping. Yumm!!
Great joint and rising star in Vic Park! Awesome location and good selection of burgers and chicken and the re-up has free tea refills which are a bonus :)

A group of our friends have been on the hunt for Perth's best burger over the last 6 months and have finally hit the jackpot!!
The is no better hangover cure or Sunday burger fix than RoyAls!
While most people spend their evenings scrolling through Facebook catching up on social events, my husband loses hours on Zomato, emerged in reviews and drooling over pictures of burgers and fried chicken. Never has he taken the time to finally leave a review or a rating, but today he announces, is the day! The burger and wings combination that warrants a review! Juicy tender patty, a bun that retains its soft pillowy bounce without losing structural integrity, enough sauce to spill out the sides without being sloppy, and the perfect balance of pickle and salad. Flavour-packed, burger goodness with the perfect condiments! Oh, and even the fries are the perfect ode to fast food nostalgia!
So once he returns from his burger induced food coma... He'll leave a review for the only place in Perth serving a burger worth reviewing!

$15 all you can eat wings on Wednesdays is what we came for. You do need to pay $6 for the re-up (one side + one drink) too. The service was very friendly and accommodating but there were definitely a few teething issues still. The buttermilk chicken has no spice but had a nice coating and crunch. The medium heat chicken wings had a decent hit of chilli so I'd recommend starting at medium rather than going straight to 'hot' or 'extra hot'! Ordering the wings were pretty easy - you get a plate of wings in the one flavour (about 10 wings) and when you're done you can order your next (they do come around and ask if you'd like anything else). As for the sides - mac and cheese was a little bland, slaw was nothing special... the best was the tater tots. For drinks you can order the bottomless iced lemon tea which i believe is homemade. Could have had more lemon flavour but it was okay. There's also water you can help yourself too. One member of our group had a burger and highly recommended this too!
Pros:
-Good service.
- Burgers were delicious.
- Re-up is good value.
Cons:
- Mac n Cheese was dry.
- Bottomless Ice Tea needs more flavour.
Will definitely be coming back with friends for more burgers and to try the fried chicken.

I love a good burger and these guys do not disappoint! The burgers are flavourful and satisfying and in saying that I went twice in a week it was that good.
The first burger I had was the royal with cheese with added bacon of course and did a re-up a side and drink for $6. The beef patty had a good char and the brioche bun was toasted right.
The 2nd time I went I tried the Stanley with added bacon ;) as you can tell I love bacon =p and this burger was just as good as the first burger I tried.
Will definitely be going back and making my way through the menu as they also do buttermilk fried chicken and on Wednesday nights $15 all you can eat chicken wings and you get to choose your own spiciness too.
We were after a quick bite and a place to park the pram (not very Gansta but what can you do). Squeezed in and made to feel welcome. Had the jerk chicken with corn....amazing corn!! Gringo fries also awesome with a good serve of coriander and chilli. The Mac and cheese I though a tad dry but all up a great lunch. Look forward to coming again and having the tatter tots (they'd sold out).
Buttermilk wings were delicious. Got a side of chips and kale salad, which was really tasty too. Friendly service. Highly recommend! Will definitely be going back again
Friendly staff, happy to be of assistance. The real deal when it comes to american style buffalo chicken wings. Also plently of napkins on the tables definitely earns another vote! We'll be back again and again.
Finally! Some proper Hot Wings in Perth! Have been searching for years and been sadly disappointed by pretenders. These guys appear to have actually done their research and probably even travelled to America before selling American Cuisine. I can finally get my wing fix without having to travel to the other side of the world!! Thank you RoyAl!!

We popped in at about 7:30 on a Thursday night after a very busy spell. The service was EXCELLENT - friendly and efficient. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but we didn't mind because when we got there we were advised that they had just been slammed. The food was worth the wait. The buffalo wings were sensational! And the Popcorn chicken Poboy... OMG - So freaking good! Fresh crispy lettuce and carrot, a lovely creamy sauce, and the chicken was delicious! The fries were sensational (so many places find it impossible to fry a good frie). We will be back with some BYO next time and some friends too!
Got to be honest, this place has not yet hit their stride, but they get points for trying. The menu is reasonably fun and has good options, while the prices are a bit higher than I'd like for what's on offer, it's interesting and varied. The quality of the food leaves a little to be desired, but it's by no means poor. I'm hoping that the store continues to improve over the next few months, because I could imagine this being of my favourite eating spots, but unfortunately at the moment the quality's not quite there to compete with great locals like Two Gringos and Noodle Forum.

Oh my gosh what amazing food! This will not be the last time we visit. The space is pretty chill, very cool street artwork covers an entire wall and the vibe is very relaxed. Staff are super friendly, and the menu is reminiscent of an "American style" burger joint with a bit of Asian fusion. I couldn't decided between the two chicken burgers on offer, but ended up with the Chicken Po Boy. Crispy coated, flavoursome chicken thigh with creole chipotle and red onion and lettuce. What a flipping amazing combo of flavours. The chicken was out of this world - it was super crunchy on the outside and very moist and tender on the inside. I could have eaten it on it its own. Yum. The chicken was encased in a fresh, divine brioche roll and the chipotle was full of tang and a slight slice. Yum! The fresh veg completed the dish and I was one happy foodie. E went for the RoyAl Burger - Angus beef, cheese, onion, pickles and a combo of tomato sauce and mustard. Now this girl is picky but she gave her burger 5/5!!!! She loveddddd it! The beef was cooked medium and she loved the juiciness. Tater Tots were our side of choice and they were a nice change from regular fries! The blue cheese sauce served alongside them was light with a slight zing. Yum. I can't wait to get back and try the rest of the menu ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

So happy I tried the burgers here because it was definitely the best burger I've ever had! Had the Stanley with added bacon, the beef patty was tasty and cooked perfectly, the brioche bun was amazing and one of my favourite parts was that the tomato was very thinly sliced unlike every other burger you get were the tomato slice is as thick as the burger patty, could not be happier with it. Also the home ice tea was delicious and for $6 on top of the burger you get a side dish and a bottomless ice tea, unlimited refills! Altogether great service, great atmosphere and bloody great food. Will be making this a weekly dinner spot.
Two people told the guy behind the counter that the burger was "the best they've ever tasted" while I waited for my meal and I have to agree. I have had the po boy and the king of crowns burger, both amazing. I have also tried the fried chicken and the hot wings which are an admirable side but just get a king of crowns burger and dont ask questions.

Food is awesome. Crispy chicken, juicy beef, creamy mayo and crunchy fries. However, service is sloppy. Lots of kids running in and out of the kitchen area which isn't just unprofessional, but also pretty unsafe. But, can't say anything bad about the food!

Mega grateful that RoyAl's exists. Wings are too legit. Started with the hot just to have the taste, then went up to the Really Hot. Kind of understatement! but the chili flavor is just as strong as the heat.
Tried the Po' Boy, can understand why it was recommended, i want more of them. like daily. The King Of Crowns Burger has everything you want/need to make a mighty RoyAl burger for sure!
but even tho its full of extras, the star is the juicy, perfectly cooked (aka not overcooked! why is that so hard to find?) burger inside.
And the Pecan Pie! my favorite desert and finally I have found one in WA that is basically perfect and rivals some of the best I have eaten in the States. Good food, good vibes, great art on the walls and cool tunes.
