Environment: Family run restaurant with Thai decor. All tables are covered with red table cloth. Tidy & clean. --- 7/10
Service: young guy is usually very nice. A bottle if chilled tap water is provided when seated. Food served fast. --- 7/10
Food: wide selection of food. Normal presentation. Normal portion.
Tom Yim Prawn, $9: 3 prawns, some button mushrooms and coriander. Very spicy, spicier than before. Taste was changed. Not so tasty now. --- 6/10
Tom Kha Mix Seafood, $9: like Tom Yim soup mixd with coconut milk. Same, not tasty as before --- 6/10
Pad Thai Pork, $17: a bit pricey this one. Not much noodles and pork. Pork was large slices. Tofu cubes were very tiny. Bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy. Fried egg was ok. Peanuts were not roasted. --- 7/10

The food were surprisingly tasty. The taste of the Pad Thai was one of the best that we have tasted around Perth. The Siam Fried rice was also very tasty and have plenty of meats. Three flavoured fish was also spot on, the combination of sweet, sour and salty with a hint of garlic is well balanced. This is, so far, the first Thai restaurant in Perth that was able to surprise our palate (in a good way).
Sadly, there were a few things that let us down. Firstly, the food portions were quite small compared to the price (for evening dine-in). Not a very good value. Secondly, although the fried rice were full of meats, they were not finely cut. Instead of cut finely to small pieces, the meats were served in chunky pieces and some of them were a little bit tough. Thirdly, the fish were suppose to have some degree of crispiness on the outside and soft in the inside. However, some of the fish failed to have the intended level of crispiness and softness. The batter were not nicely coated on some of the fish.
In summary, very good taste but some improvements are needed to improve the diners overall dining experience.

Delicious food, value of money, Thay have good thai food menu, Definitely coming back here again for delicious food.
Coralie Pinney
Really sweet pad thai and green curry.
Friendly service. Wouldn’t return due to lack of authentic tasting food.

I highly recommend this Thai Restaurant. This is the best Thai Restaurant we have been to in Perth. Beautiful restaurant, service was amazing and beautiful decor.

Absolutely delicious Thai food! My mum's Thai and she's an awesome cook (I'm biased) but this place serves up a pretty authentic version of Pad Thai. Service was fast and friendly. Dishes were fresh and seasoned well. My friend and I sat outside because it was such a lovely evening. I would go back when I'm in the area again next time.

The Pad khee Maw is so yummy. Been eating for many years at Royal Siam. A restaurant to be added to your bucket list. highly recommended 👏👏👏

Thank you to the team here who knocked up a couple of takeaway meals for us late on a Monday night, even though they were packing up for the night. The chicken fried rice was great and the prawn and cashew nuts had lots of fresh cooked vegetables that were crunchy and the dish was delicious.

Friendly staff. Food okay, nothing spectacular but good value for money. Prawns pretty tasty 🍤

I regularly eat lunch here. The food is excellent value and the service is friendly and fast. My favourite dishes are the red curry and the cashew stir fry. Highly recommended!
Just Another Foodie
The Royal Siam continues to be one of my favourite Thai restaurants and it's definitely the best casual dining restaurant in East Perth. I always rate Thai restaurants by their green curry and Royal Siam's is way above the rest by a long mile. I also live their chilli tofu and steamed fish. And one their roast duck red curry is also a definite must.

Good service and food. The chicken pad Thai wasn’t to my taste. Its sour and sweet which I wasn’t used to but my friend liked it. I preferred the beef pad se-ew noodles. That was just the right salty sweet taste that I like.

This was our first time at this restaurant and it was worth the trip! We had take-away of massaman beef curry, seafood pad Thai and steamed rice.
The whole experience was excellent, from the staff taking the order and serving us at the spotless restaurant... to the delicious food. Thank you!
Lady X
Small little Thai restaurant in east Perth. The seafood Pad Thai was tasty but was slightly on the sweeter side and had ketchup sauce in it. I usually prefer my pad thai without ketchup in it. Also got takeaway for the chilli basil duck stir fry which was delicious!
Nmad
Love this place. Have been here a few times and the food, service and atmosphere are always great in this small restaurant. It's a little out of the way for us but has always been worth it. There are plenty of Thai restaurants out there that just don't hit the mark, but I find that this one does abs I've never left disappointed. The dishes are all very authentic and leaves you wanting more. I have a Thai place very close to home that does a mean Panang chicken but that's about it. If I feel like variety from my Thai food I go to Royal Siam. I'd highly recommend it even if it is a little out the way.
LittleMiss
Food was served super quickly. However not really very warm in temperature. Service was good, flavour was acceptable. Fine if you feel like Thai and are in the area.
LittleGirlBigFood
Great takeaway delivery. Excellent prices and very very fast delivery . I had the spicy prawn stirfry, veg noodles and rice. All for $25!!! Really good value.
PerthfectBreakfast
The prices here are very reasonable and lunch specials are a bargain! I absolutely love their pineapple fried rice which is spiced with curry powder.

On this occasion we beat the lunch rush and ordered the massaman beef curry, Thai beef salad, chicken pad Thai and curry puffs and were able to use entertainment card which took the whole meal down to $34!! Bargain!

Everything we ordered was delishhhhhh. Maybe a tad on the sweet side would be my only gripe.
Muffins
Best massaman curry I've had in ages- so good we came back on a second night (of our three night stay in Perth) to have it again! Attentive service and reasonably priced.
Hamish
The food here is authentic as they have a THai chef. The green chicken curry is one of the better ones I have had in Perth and the Pad Thai is equally good.
Aimee Lee
First time ordering with Royal Siam Kitchen.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced and really really nice food (chilli basil is to die for)

Food was delivered exactly on time.

Will order from them again!

This is by far one of the best thai restaurant in Perth! The portion is so generous and the food is so delicious. My favourites are the pad thai, curry puff, seafood fried rice and duck curry. Be sure to check out their lunch specials too as they are really value for money. The restaurant is welcoming and has a nice interior. The staff is always friendly and service is good.
Elssie
Good honest food with friendly service is a winning combination for Royal Siam. Their dishes are flavorsome and authentic, thought probably adjusted to a sweeter, less spicy local palate. Overall a nice place I'd definitely frequent again.
The Ponder Room
I drive past Royal Siam Kitchen on a daily basis and finally got to stop by. Perth has a lot of good Thai restaurants so it would have to be good. The Yellow Chicken Curry was wonderfully spicy and the serve so big three of us couldn't finish it. We also had a fish dish which is a bit of a specialty dish for them (sorry I forgot the name). I can say that the fish was so soft it just melted away as soon as it touched your tongue. The staff were excellent, they knew when to keep their distance and not interrupt a trio of gaggling women. I do recommend that you book early as it's quite a small restaurant. It can also get quite noisy which made for a great atmosphere with friends but perhaps not ideal when signing a legal contract, you may mishear and find yourself part owner in a Shetland pony.
Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!
This place was quiet nice I love spicy when it comes to Thai, I had larb gai(chicken) tom yum seafood... But very yummy the soup had a lot of seafood perfect for one person. Then I had taro and coconut bake and vanilla ice cream, staff where friend and very polite.
Budiman
Pricy and average taste, wouldn't recommend at all. There are others asians restaurant around then, maybe should consider to try instead of siam kitchen.
Dann Sokol
Wow... The Tamarind Tofu and Vegetarian Jungle Curry hit the spot. Having the option to go spicy or mild was a nice gesture. One of the better Thai meals I've had in Perth, and very good service, clean restaraunt and overall great dining experience. We will definitely be back!
NH
Nice cosy little place with polite helpful staff. High quality white table cloths and cloth napkins. Food was tasty, but not the authentic Thai I am used to. Maybe a little too much sugar in the green curry? Tom Yum was also tasty but too much tomato flavour which takes away from the lovely clear tom yum experience.
MF
Excellent service and delicious food - we are never disappointed. The Pad Thai and Massaman curry are our favorites. The seating and decor is fairly basic but the food is worth overlooking this.

We attended the Royal Siam restaurant in East Perth on Friday evening, 12th June 2015. We had not booked however whilst looking in the window two patrons were entering and recommended the food and this was the deciding factor to give it a try? When we entered the restaurant the waitress kindly found us a table and that was when the service stopped.

As the restaurant is BYO I brought two bottles of beer and a bottle of wine. Due to the difficulty of getting attention I had to open the beers with the edge of a spoon and after pouring the wine it remained on the table without an ice bucket.

After ordering entrée it was served and this is when the whole evening became a disappointment? We orderted the chefs recommendation, curry puffs. When the curry puffs arrived they were dripping in oil and had absolutely no flavour, and very limited content. My wife ordered the spring roles and the comment she made was not very encouraging either. We ordered mains, I had Pad Thai and my wife had Pad Kway Teow. This is got to be the worst thai meal I have ever experienced. It was sadly lacking in flavour and tasted like they had prepared it with a very watery sauce and it was very unpleasant to eat. Practically all of my wife’s meal was left on the plate which says it all.

I would highly recommend that you give this restaurant a miss it is giving Thai food a bad name
Meagan Bruins
Excelent and will return. We had my sister's 30th birthday dinner at the Royal Siam Kitchen. With 10+ people BYO beer and wine is the best way to go. The food was delicious, service was attentive and they even put together the cake I had made and brought it out to my sister. I can't fault the food, service or staff and will definitely be returning!
Turkish
Reasonable. Food was decent, perhaps needed a bit more spice.
Kevin Zhou
Spent $20 on prawn green curry and a small rice for take away. The curry was watery. Prawns undercooked smelled fishy.
M_emond
Just ordinary really. Service was fine and the food was OK. The TomYum soup was tasty but lacked any vegetables other than mushrooms. Lots of chicken though. The massaman curry was tasty but it was only beef and potatoes. The basil chicken stir fry was very nice. There's better and there's worse Thai in Perth, this is middle of the road.

Food is beautiful! Fresh, quality Thai... Yummo!!

Good evening James, we are sorry to hear about your recent experience at our restaurant. We would like to clarify that we were more than happy to light the cake without sparklers but you chose to take the cake home and not allow us to do so. We do not have a cakeage charge and hope people appreciate that sparklers can set off the smoke alarms. Thank you
James
This is the worst Thai restaurant in Perth. Please do not go here. We ordered a pork dish , which was basically half boiled pork. There for we returned it, the waiter did argue it was ok. Again they brought it, same dish . We refused it once again. As we went there for my brothers birthday. , the bastards said that they didn't want a candle lit. Worst Thai food in Australia .

Great size meals. Royal siam is value for money, the meals are a decent size.
We always get the chu chee fish but this time the fish had no taste and was watery..... (maybe like frozen fish)
but will go back for sure and the meals are full of flavour! and I think good value
Adam
Really enjoyed. Four of us had our first meal there and really enjoyed it, especially the mussaman. Definitely worth trying
Hoi Hoi Chang
Most horrible thai food in Perth. Dont even go near there! the tom yum tasted extremely salty and the broth was not clear like how an authentic tom yum soup should be, i bet it was from some instant packet. the crispy fried chicken was tasteless. they cant even cook fried rice properly! and the jungle curry was worst of all; the pork smell bad so bad we had to leave most of it. it was not worth the money or consuming the calories for these hopeless food. just doesn't add up no idea who was cooking in the kitchen definitely wasn't a chef/cook!!! i warned you dont go there!!! otherwise you will regret like i do now. the food screwed up my taste bugs too.
Christo Da Silva
One of the worst thai restaurants. We ordered tom yum soup and it was similar to a supermarket instant soup packet which can easily be made at home. their fried rice and jungle curry was disappointing. The pork in the jungle curry had a peculiar smell!

They are way below the thai food standards when compared to S&T Thai restaurant or Dusit Thai restaurant in Northbridge.
Nicolina Di Franco
Really good food... Went there with couple of friends and everybody loved their dish. Complements to the kitchen :-)

Yummy Thai. I have only been twice for lunch but can't wait to try more dishes.
Great taste and excellent value with the lunch time specials.

Another great meal. Enjoyed another great meal here. Very fresh and well cooked, with all those fab thai flavours. Recommended.
Green Mango
Very disappointed after dining because of good reviews of this restaurant. Food was average at most, rice was too soft, food portion was small and presentation nil for the price, and servers looked like they didn't want to be there. Was still hungry after our meal but skipped dessert as didn't want to hang around for their poor service. Won't be back.
Food Doc
Fabulous green vegetarian curry- had just the right balance of spicy and sweet. Tamarind tofu was a giant serving, topped with masses of sweet chilli, garlic and ginger. Dinner for two under $40- amazing value! We will definitely be back.
Kelly Evans
Haven't had a bad meal here! Decided to give it a go coz it was in the entertainment book, and hoo boy! Was I glad I did! Freshest and flavour packed food! Had the steamed fish and pad Thai and both were amazing. Staff can sometimes be a little slow but the food is prompt and delicious, so I can overlook that :)
Wennie
Take away, twice a week!. Thai cuisine in here is just amazing! Firs time we went there because moved house and we could not cook at home so we decided to buy something around east Perth and then we found this Thai restaurant, it was just 7pm but 90% table are be reserved ( you can tell how good they are)! We ordered entree and curry dishes, they are not cheap but worth it definitely! That is why we went there twice a week lol
MrSmilee
Service was very slow & staff not that interested in serving us. We were in a bit of a rush but 10 minutes to take our order, another 10 minutes after that to get our drinks & food average at best
Marie
Servings too small / too expensive. Took our family (2 adults & 2 children) to this restaurant based on reviews... have to say very very disappointed.. 1 child had Mixed seafood Tom Yum main size ($16) - had only a few tiny bits of seafood, and mushrooms and a few pieces of corriander, 1 had mixed seafood Pad Thai ($18) which was mostlyl cabbage / salad and noodles. My husband and I had Prawn Tom Yum, entree size - 2 prawns ($8), for mains we had Panang Curry (wow what a dissapointment this round dish comes out with a runny sauce and a tiny tiny pile of thinly sliced beef - which was a tough as boot leather all for $24 !!!, then we also had the mixed seafood cashew dish for $23 - again a pretty carved carrot, lots of garnish and not much else - very few cashews for that matter. Something else that angered us was that as much as both of the mains were small - you had to pay extra for steamed rice - we paid for enough for 3 - out comes a small dish with gluggy rice (lucky if it was enough for 2) for another $7.50. As avid Thai food people, we were extremely dissapointed in the tiny proportions and the extremely high costs... as a result with NO drinks just the complimentary water - our meal came to over $100 !!! NEVER AGAIN.. so much for a nice meal before going to watch Glory play. My kids were begging me to buy them food by the time we got to the game, both me and my husband were even still hungry... The hot dogs and chips looked so good at the game, I think we will stick to that - at least we know we can all eat for less than $100 here!! WILL NOT BE RETURNING

Can never go wrong.. I've been eating a Siam at least once a week for nearly six months (I work in East Perth). I've tried most things on the menu and I say very conservatively that I am always impressed!

Each meal tastes fresh. The meat is always tender. The sauces are amazing and even simple meals like Pad Khee Mao are so flavorsome.

The service is fantastic and the meals come out in great time. I've never experienced a more consistent restaurant; especially one that is so unassuming.
Ann
Very nice. Big portions
very tasty &fresh
good service
Linda May
This restaurant was very disappointing. Judging from the menu we were very excited to try the foods. We ordered the Pad Num Mun Hoi and Panang and was very disappointed. The vegetables were over cooked with hardly any flavour of oyster sauce. The Panang detailed too much coconut cream which made the dish too rich. Overall, we were very disappointed with the quality of the dishes.
Drey
Cosy corner, I have not been disappointed with the food in this restaurant. Full of flavours
Zac
My favourite place to eat in Perth!. I love Royal Siam and another trip there for dinner on the weekend did not disappoint. What do I love most about this place?
- the consistency of the food (it tastes the same each time I visit)
- the freshness of the ingredients (the owner gets fresh ingredients from the markets early each morning)
- it's quite small and intimate
- the service has always been friendly
- the time between placing your order and it arriving on the table is always so quick! Granted we usually have an early booking but I've always been very impressed.

Royal Siam in East Perth is definitely my favourite place to eat out in Perth. I'll be back again!!
Blackberry
Always good!. Im a regular and this little restaurant has never disappointed me. I love their curries range, friendly staff and it's BYO!
Julia
Great for lunch. I work in the area and this is my favourite place for lunch. I especially like the red curry chicken and the pad thai, however the people from my office order a whole variety of dishes and everybody likes it.

I can't comment on dinner but I would definitely recommend for lunch.

PERTH ASIAN FOOD AND CULTURE GROUP. This is a fantasitc restaurant, The group attended with 14 members, we ordered 7 entree's and 12 main dish's, total cost was $16.00 per member. I really enjoyed the Duck Curry, with Lychee's, and Pinapple rice. I will reccommend this to all my friends - THANKYOU ROYAL SIAM FOR A TOP NIGHT! - Harry

Yummo. What a great little restaurant. We went for a work dinner and everyone loved it. Great food, Great service and cosy atmosphere - a must visit

So lucky to have this place as our local Thai. Amazing flavours, super quick service & always served in a polite & professional manner. Always busy which speaks volumes. Highly recommended
Jacob Scott
Great simple flavours executed well. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.
Patrick Of Booragoon
7.5/10. Really good vibe. Small, friendly and busy. Felt a little like being in Melbourne. Food came out so quickly from the kitchen that it must have been pre-prepared. Bit of a shame. Massaman was really nice, white wine garlic prawns were brilliant. Service was cheery and precise. BYO wine + beer. Worth a visit for a quick casual meal.
Jarrah Jungle
Busy Little Late Night Thai. At 8pm on a Monday night I didnt expect this little place to be so packed (especially as a lot of restaurants dont open on a Monday). We ordered the fried wontons which werent super crunchy they rushed them out onto the table a bit too soon. The duck curry was sweet and rich with pineapple and leeches and the green thai chicken curry is always a winner. It was a lot more expensive than your usual Thai restaurant, but it is in funky East Perth so they can probably get away with charging a bit more. Using the entertainment voucher bought the meal down to under $50 so I was happy with that.
Littlebigeater
Great little Thai in perth. I went there last night with my friends 4 people all together.
The food were beautifully cook and yummmmm. I love Tom Yum soup with a beautiful taste.
Pad Thai was great and the best was Siam white wine omg I Will be there again very soon
Jordy
Best Tom Kha soup! Delisious flavours, would defiantly go back just for the soup. Would recommend this place, but a tad expensive. We ordered vegetarian pad Thai, green curry, prawn omlete and a cashew nut stir fry. All delisious and great size. I would reccomend booking a table as the place is rather small, not a lot of seating, and it does get busy. Quick with food and service was great.
Kevin McLeish
Nice food. Good Thai flavours. Good service. Excellent value. Good to see byo. Recommended.

Blah. Pretty average food here, I'm sorry and the service left a lot to be desired considering we were only the 2 people amongst 6 in total! I went there following the other rave reviews here and their high score, but was very disappointed!
Mickamy
Thai-rrific!. Me & my partner decided to try out the Royal Siam Thai Kitchen after reading reviews on thi site and we were not disappointed to say the least. After rocking up without a reservation we were lindly offered a table for two and quickly the restaurant started to fill with patrons. The premises are a little small however cosy and offers outdoor seating. After sharing 1 entree & have 2 mains between us & a rice dish as a side order , the total bill came to $40. A fantastic meal for a great price!! Excellent service with a freindly smile...We will be back!
Liz Burn
Best Thai in East Perth. Food delicious, best Chilli Basil Fish I have had since Thailand, better considering the portions of succulent fish. Tables well presented with real linen, clean, service brilliant, and always lots of people dining in. Well done to everyone at Royal Siam.
Alan Sheehan
I have traveled across Thailand and always tried green cirrus in every restaurant but I never found one that was as good as the royal siam's green chicken curry
A
Exceeded expectations. Beautiful fresh food, definitely will be going back! :)

Decent Feed. Went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. Wasn't busy but we weren't the only punters either. The decor is basic - take-away chic. I think it would be very noisy if busy.

The menu is quite extensive. The waiter gave us a choice of spiciness on most of our dishes and gave us water without asking. I doubt that the meals were particularly authentic, but they were a decent size and pretty tasty.

Three mains (1 chicken, 1 beef, 1 veg) and plain rice for 3 came to $65.
Food Groove
Fresh and Flavoursome. What this place lacks in setting, it makes up for in flavour, even though a tad pricey for the serving size.

I tried the panang beef curry and green chicken curry, both of which were fresh and flavoursome. I just would have liked more in the servings to feel completely satisfied.

The restaurant lacks atmosphere but the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

I will go back to try the larb!
Fish
Handy little Thai place. Quick service and fresh food. Massamann Beef curry was tasty but a but dry. Tom yum soup was pretty handy. Easy cheap feed up!
John
Good grub. Grabbed the red duck curry. Quick, friendly service. Delicious curry. I'd definitely go back.
Deborah
Refreshing. As a visitor from Melbourne we were looking for a comfortable place to meet friends for dinner. We were staying nearby and thought this would be perfect.....we weren't disappointed...the food was excellent and the service was great. The dishes were not smothered in sauces and were very tasty....not one complaint from all 9 guests......we will be back.
OP
Great food, lots of variety. Cheap, fresh, friendly. Beef salad and duck curry personal favorites
Carl Ong
Simple restaurant with simple dish. Not bad for a lunch, but dinner..... I'd yet to try.
Jack Martin
Well worth a visit.. I've eaten here several times and it is consistently good. Not all of the menu items are to my taste but the menu is extensive and varied so it is not difficult to find many dishes which are very good. The service is friendly and helpful and prices are reasonable.
The Pescatarian
Third time not so lucky. Liked the first time as a simple inexpensive mid week meal. Yay, we thought. Second time was ok - the yellow curry was fine. Third time disappointing. The ginger fish arrived as mouthsized pieces lightly battered with an oversized salad garnish. But the batter was spongey and the fish low quality. Tummy rumbles later that evening. Won't be back.

-----10 Apr, 2011-----

Tasty Thai food for a reasonable price - about $50 couple with an Entertainment voucher. Nothing fancy in terms of menu, ingredients or decor but good for a casual meal. Service was also pleasant.
Elyodnanoc
Best thai red chicken curry... The garlic and pepper beef is something else... Must try it.
Ralf Boepple
Nice little appealing place from outside. Friendly staff but that's it. Had Thai green curry and quality is just below Han's Cafe. Only difference you pay double.
Carol B
Ordered the chef's special but the scallops were overcooked and ao were the prawns, a pity as the service was pretty good, internally it looks clean and tidy, but pity abt the fd
Holly Doll
You Gotta try It. This was the place where for the very first time I tired Tom Yum Goon and I fell in love.

Their food is exceptional at this place and the staff are so extremely friendly.

It is a small venue so you can have nice intimate dinners or a casual dinner, whatever mood you are in, you will feel at ease at this place.

I Highly recommend the Tom Yum Goon as a starter and then Penang Curry.
Trust Me
Summer dinner - outside. I came here last night for dinner. We used the entertainment voucher (25% off total bill). A beautiful summer's night eating asian outside in East Perth. All we needed was a Singha beer but V.Cellars E Perth closes at 8pm (*note*). RSK is perfect if you want casual dining on a night where you want to wear your shorts and thongs or a low key dinner with your partner. Perth needs more Asian restaurants that have outdoor dining. Such a waste when we have beautiful weather. The service was quick and very friendly. We ordered the 3 way fish and I give that a 9/10 and we ordered the beef masman curry which I give 6/10. They could have used a different cut of beef so the beef would peel off but I think they used beef cubes which was quite chewy. Bare in mind, Thai people don't eat beef so maybe they weren't too sure which beef cut to use.
Overall I would pop back in next time I want to eat simple and sit outside eating Thai food!
TimTam
One off the wishlist. TimTam has been hearing good things about this little eatery in East Perth so she ventured down to it last weekend. Located on Royal Street, this 'cute as a button 'restaurant was clean, neat and tidy. Service was fast and pleasant and the food one of the nicest Thai food TimTam reckoned in Perth.
She started with the Siam tasting Plate. Each piece was very tasty as were the two accompanying sauces. For Mains she went for the Chicken Pad Khee Mao. Again each component was so well presented and nice and fresh. The chicken was plentiful and moist and there was lots of sauce too.
One small issue was TimTam was overcharged and only noticed on her return. She phoned the restaurant who apologised about the error. TimTam has some credit for Royal Siam and I bet it won't be long before she cashes it in.
Foodiephotog
No duck curry for me thanks. Nice decor, be wary of the door leading to the toilet - I had no idea it was a door at all! Was trying to find the 'toilet door' for so long! It is a painting of a 'way'. Quite hilarious. :)

Onto the menu, we ordered Thai Fish Cakes for entrée which were quite good. We also had Green Seafood Curry and Roast Duck Curry - I ordered this because I saw on a previous review their duck curry was good, big mistake as it tasted like soap. (?!!) Maybe it's just me, but I won't be ordering that next time. Had Fish Chu Chee (best of lot in my opinion), Chicken Omelette (ntg special), Minced Meat Salad (alrighty), Pineapple Rice (best in another friend's opinion), Pad Thai Prawn (so-so for a classy Thai restaurant) and Tom Yum Soup (very nice, serving size is only enough for one person).
Erin
I am a huge fan of Thai food, but I was totally surprised at the level of food that came out of the kitchen here. We went because it was in the entertainment book, but they have a client for life now. Soooooo yum!

If you want excellent good value thai food, friendly service, byo, and aren't looking for a big flash restaurant then you'll love this place.
Sarah
Best Thai food in Perth!. This place is a little gem! My friend and I stumbled across it when looking in the Entertainment Book for a restaurant in East Perth. Cute and clean set-up, staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic and full of flavour. BYO is a big +. Would be more than happy to recommend the Royal Siam to anyone who is looking for a nice Thai restaurant.
SQUiD
Thai delights!. Cute little Thai restaurant in East Perth. Loving the Massaman beef and can't go past the duck curry every time I come here! Great flavoursome food and can't fault the service.

Bonus = BYO! yay!
Mfga
Really nice, clean flavours. Lovely friendly service. Well done royal Siam.
Alan
Wonderful Experience. Our Accounting firm had its Christmas function at Royal Siam Kitchen on Saturday 21 November 2009, absolutely fantastic, the food was excellent, well prepared and delivered with expert service. We would recommend that people try the restaurant as it is quaint and the family that run and own in add that personal touch to your experience. Well don't to the staff and we will certainly be returning as it is truly a five star experience. Thank you Alan
The Ponder Room
More important though was the quality, our dishes were fresh and full of wonderful spices. We all agreed we didn't know what they'd done to the fish dish (above) but it was soft and moreish, I'll definitely go back for that one.
Juji Chews
I loved the soft and warm tofu, which had been quickly fried until satisfyingly crisp on the outside. Dipped into the sweet-sour sauce, it was bliss!
Shaun
During lunch the menu presented is limited but there is an expanded menu for dinner featuring entrees, mains, and desserts. They also do takeaway. Lunch options are limited to a range of curry and noodle dishes so the menu has choice, but it’s not too small. After a quick look at the menu, I was tossing up between red curry and Masamn curry but opted for the former. After a reasonable wait, I was served a plate of rice and a bowl of the freshly prepared red curry. I was pretty hungry so I dove straight in and smothered the rice with the curry. There’s

Overall, a hit and miss dining experience at Royal Siam. I will come back to try their other dishes, and maybe have some of that lovely steam fish fillets again.
