Great hearty ramen, staff are always friendly
Best spicy ramen & goyza's I've tasted.
I like the ambiance of this place and the warm greetings from the staff. It was busy during lunch time but good thing the place was quite big so we didnt have to wait too long. I ordered the Bari-Uma ramen and karaage. The ramen wasnt too bad; the broth was tasty but i feel like the flavour was missing something. The karaage also tasted average. But all in all it wasnt too bad, i would actually go back to this place again for ramen.
Way better than Nao which is cheaper but once you add what you like it is the same price as Bari-Uma anyway! The only comment is the portion is small and ramen should fill you up!
Other a good ramen lunch and will be back!
So happy with my chicken ramen !! Possibly the best ramen I've had in Perth. They used chicken wings instead of just chicken pieces. It's so tender it falls off the bone.
The rice dish and the karaage that we ordered were also excellent. Also worth noting that their portion is perfect. First time I've had ramen without feeling bloated / so full that I felt sick afterwards.
Definitely coming back again.

Came here to try out the ramen, had ajitama and kara tama uma. The ramen was actually quite nice, the broth was thick, creamy and yummy but there was a problem... it was not as flavourful as it looked. It had strong aroma of pork broth and the right consistency but for some reason it is lacking flavour. The chili one was definitely better, as it enhances the pork broth flavour. But I can't justify paying extra 2$ for the exact same ramen except with added chilli. Anyways it didnt suit my taste but I can understand that this kind of flavour suits the taste of people in general. Though the biggest plus is the thickness of the chasiu, and it tasted very good. Would like to try other menu next time we come here.
Review update: came here a second time and ordered the kama tama uma and I have to give new rating as this time the broth was actually thick and tasty! Egg was way better too, gooey and soft on the inside. This time i feel that the price is fair. Actually was pleased and had to add another star.
Hands down, this is my favorite ramen place in Perth! I love the thick broth and i especially love the thick-cut chasu!! They are awesome!!! The broth is much thicker compared to other ramen joints yet not too thick to make you bloated, and it contains flavour so rich you can want to lick the bowl empty! And seriously, i don’t mind paying the hefty price of $19.90 for their Chasu-uma just to get extra 3 pieces of their yummy grilled thick-cut chasu! Although, a dollar or two cheaper would be appreciated.
New ramen place in city. Need to queue each time. But it is very nice. Soup is very thick and nice. Staff and service are good. Self service for drink and order and pay at counter before you eat.
Ordered their signature ramen very tasty broth, lovely fresh noodles definitely worth the wait.cons felt a little heavy from the thick broth, a little pricey for a small standard bowl but the quality is there.
We walked past this place and saw a heaving cue outside, of course we HAD to go in.
We finally got a table and sat down to order service was friendly and efficient.
We ordered the spicy and the miso Ramen both were really good with house made wheat noodles, the chashu was tasty with a firm chewy texture, the egg was cooked perfectly and soft in the inside.
Fried karaage was crispy and succulent, the batter had good colour and flavour.
Stand out star was the gyoza! Awesome wrappers with a lovely ginger flavour, it was a nice surprise.
Overall great little place, I like that they make effort with their side dishes as well as the Ramen.
Good, fast service. Ramen with thick broth and umami flavour. Fried chicken was crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside. A quick and warning alternative to burgers and sandwiches when in Perth City. 1.5% surcharge for paying with credit card. Toilet was spacious and clean.
The soup in here is very thick, really thick.
2 people spend 52$, the restaurant is nice and clean. Decorations very special. Staff are friendly. Good location in cbd. Karaage chicken is tender and juicy.
I walked past many times and finally got to eat. I came over at 2 pm on a weekday. You have to wait in front of the restaurant for a staff member to come and see you. After the staff brings you to the table with the menu, you choose the food you want to eat and walk to the counter to order food and come back to sit and wait for the food at the table. I don’t wait for my food long.
Tasty ramen, there is the right amount. The noodles are not soft, but not hard. Gyoza is delicious but a bit bland.
Overall, I think this restaurant is delicious. I also ordered pork chashu rice to take home.
I had just finished studying at the Perth Library and was hungry and ready for something to eat. When i entered the venue there was such a home like feeling and such a positive energy. I ordered the Kara Uma and it took no longer that 5 minuets to be served. It was freshly made and still warm. I love this place and give it a 5star rating!!
Been in Perth for the past few days and sick of eating burgers and sandwiches… Chance upon this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised that it’s so good and tasty.
Ramen broth is thick and not too salty. Full of umami. Eel rice is definitely grilled to perfection. Free flow of ocha.
Inexpensive pricing. Do hear in mind there’s a 1.5% surcharge for credit card payment. Clean and homely toilets as well. So comforting to eat such tasty ramen in winter 💕
The broth is thick and porky but not overpowering. The chashu is unfortunately a bit dry n tough. The diced chashu on the hand melts in your mouth and is very flavourful. The kaarage is the stand out light and crispy batter with a strong hint of ginger.
Back for dinner last evening with couple of friends and they loved the food and friendly service. I must say that its still the best ramen place in Perth! Must have the yummy Goyza and cripsy Karaage! Will be back again for more soon.
