This Cafe is amazing! I have been here couple of times and every time it was great :) The Bulgogi Ciabatta is so delicious, one of the best things I've ever tried in Australia! Coffee's are always strong and professional made. ( You get also little biscuits, so cute) Most important thing is the staff! They are awesome, lovely and always friendly to you. You can see that they enjoy to work here!

I went there today for a cappuccino, during the wait, a woman, probably the owner, probably peeved because I was looking around her shop, ask me in a very bad way “are you alright?”. Well I try to be kind and explained her I was just waiting for my order, but after her rude question, I didn’t feel very comfortable in there! Anyway Very bad experience, and the cappuccino taste like water. 👎🏼

Staff should be friendly enough to see what exactly customers are here for. May be some one needs to rush to washroom before ordering $4 coffee but according to them you have to order 1st and then use restrooms. Specially lady at front. Well its not your decision what customers want to do 1st. 👎

While working out the front of this shop, the owner kept us in supply of iced water. Even after blocking entrance to her shop. This wonderful woman let us use her exceptionally clean facilities to clean up. THEN as she closed up due to our works, this wonderful woman gave us wraps for lunch. Thank you so very much for your kindness. We will be back, however next time to eat.

Cute little cafe with shaded patio seating, smiling staff and good selection of sweets and light bites. Limited kitchen hours for full menu. Strong wifi and quiet patrons.

Had the takoyaki, the spiced pork buns, and a latté so far, and will definitely return for more!
Pearl BHY
One of my favourite places in Northbridge. Their seasonal menu is so unique and mouth-watering, and the staff are super friendly! Their cheesecakes are to die for.💖💞💖

I always go here for their Green Burger and Coffee. Amazing staff and very contemporary setup with incredible murals. It's definitely a place to check out when you're in the city

Cute little artsy cafe. Food, though a little pricey, is not too bad. Dogs are apparently allowed here too :)

The eggs for each dish was strategically cooked differently. The rice bowl had their eggs pan fried, and was runny. The eggs benedict had a more “hard” boiled egg, to contrast from the saucy hollandaise. Portion side for each dish was actually quite filling.

Their takoyaki was small, and tasted like a pre-made frozen one that’s just been deep fried.

I have been here a lot over the past few years, and when I say a lot... I mean a god damn lot.

This place has the most beautiful ambience that you could ask for in a cafe, from the music they softly play to the peculiar artwork on the walls.

The food is top notch, no kidding. I've had so many of their dishes. My favourite being the Brekkie burger paired with a delightfully refreshing grapefruit drink, you can't ask for a better sit down meal.

Their prices are reasonable and the serving sizes are excellent for what you pay. You should never come away feeling hungry afterwards.

The staff have always been delightful, Bringing out a water bowl for our dog as well as giving her gentle pats. She loves it too.

Only wish is that they were open Saturdays as well :P!

Wish them much luck for the future.

I have been to Oec Bob Cafe to many times to count, and it surpasses my expectations every time!! Very friendly and helpful staff, had a large group of people (birthday) and did not stuff one order up! Food is delicious and I will be returning as always

Oec Bob is a wonderful little cafe with a very quirky name! The atmosphere inside was very lively and all the staff were friendly and always smiling. I opted to go for the curry rice and a long mac as my choice of drink. The long mac was very rich in flavour with a perfect balance of creamy. The curry rice was perfectly portioned and was cooked very much to my taste - I was tremendously satisfied with it. Definitely will return and have!

I ordered the breakfast brioche burger and it was delicious! I didn't have the egg and the staff put extra bacon in it, which was lovely. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit! Will come back to try the katsu or udon on the menu!

Awesome coffee every time. Amazing squid burgers and chilli chicken but more importantly, the most friendly and engaging staff as well as a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to their business.

I stop by this place frequently before work to grab a coffee and some breakfast, and am always greeted by the friendly staff. I like their coffees and hot tea lattes, and the free little biscuits they put on top are a nice touch. My favourite from the pastry section is the banana bread which they toast and butter and add a sprinkle of icing sugar. They've also got some ready made lunches, I've tried a few of their bento boxes with Japanese and Korean fillings, which include rice, seasoned meat, a fried egg, edamame, and salad. I haven't tried them yet but they also have sandwiches, onigiri and sushi rolls. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast or lunch on the go!

Visited this little cafe after a big lunch with some friends. Didn't realise that they did a good menu too. We didn't get to order any food this time, but next time for sure. We ordered some juices and coffee. Freshly made for us. What I love about this place is their decor and art.

Walked past this place so many times but was never enticed to go in until I wandered in one day desperate for a late afternoon coffee because all the other cafes nearby were closed. Was torn between having a coffee or a chai latte when the very friendly barista suggested- "Why not have both?" Dirty chai latte it was!

Came in again for lunch today and tried their soft shell crab burger. I like my crab burgers crabby so this one wasn't quite to my liking because the crab was drowned in sweet chilli sauce... But it was still a glorious hot sticky mess of yumminess. While the cafe wasn't overly busy, it was clear that the customers who came in were all regulars and warmly greeted by the staff. I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu! Good quality affordable food, bright and comfortable ambience, and possibly the best customer service in Perth :)

Strange name...great little cafe.
Stumbled upon this cafe after taking a wrong turn...and in desperate need of a coffee. Nice seating area outside. Friendly warm service. Coffee was hot and had a great flavour. We shared a spiced pork wrap..toasted, beautiful.
Will definitely come back.
Bubble N Squeak
I just popped in for a VERY late lunch (4pm!) so just smacked on a korokke do as not to spoil dinner appetite too much. It was light, crispy and flavoursome. A little tonkatsu sauce would have been a perfect accompaniment. Coffee and atmosphere also very pleasant. I will definitely return to try more on the menu!

Wanted to try out Tuck Shop across the road, the wait was too long. So, me and Cisburglar decided to try this quirky little cafe instead. Wasn't too sure in the beginning, decided on The Red Juice (yumm!!), Cappuccino, Eggs Benny with Smoked Salmon ( one of the best in town, loveeee the holandaise sauce ), Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab Salad ( OMG! And I was doubting myself for ordering a salad for brekkie 😜, it was packed full of texture and flavours!! ) n lastly also had some Takoyaki Balls 🐙.. everything was delicious! My only little whinge is that the food served was a tad slow.. otherwise friendly service and great atmosphere. Can't wait to try it out again soon!😍

I stumbled upon OEC Bob one Saturday, looking for a place to stop and spend a little time while running errands. I was welcomed with a friendly smile and conversation from the manager behind the counter. I ordered a matcha latte and was later on my way. I came back a second and a third time with friends for food and on the fourth I decided to ask the manager with the welcoming disposition a few questions about her unique cafe and its fusion of Japanese, Korean and Western flavours and elements.

Fantastic authentic Japanese style burgers- think Mos Burger but small and local.
Proper green tea too- not this 4 bucks for a tea bag and water you see everywhere
MSG Foodie
Great coffee, one of precious places which serves matcha latte!!
Only get to try their korroke which is yummy - melting sauces & tender chicken inside.
Would come back for proper meal next time :)
Short_Stack_Pancake
Tasty food at affordable prices served by very friendly waitstaff. I tried the bulgogi beef bibimbob and it was delicious. Definitely keen to come back to try something else.

You know you can make someone's day by just smiling at them. Ive recently moved into an office in Northbridge and discovered this place because Tuck Shop is always so busy. Each time I walk in there i am greeted by the warmest, most genuine smile from the wonderful lady behind the coffee machine. In fact, the food and coffee could be really average but i'd probably still go back for that. It is missing so much in hospitality and when you find this you just want to go back. Needless to say she makes the variations of my coffee just the way i like and I've only tried the torched salmon volcano roll and inhaled it, it was so tasty. So I guess its my new office local.

Please keep smiling. You make someone's day every time you do. Its a 5 from me because of this.

This was a great find - have been for breakfast and lunch - traditional fare but also exciting Japanese/Korean fusion - lovely staff - good coffee

Had such a great experience here, I had Eggs Benedict and some coffee. Really prompt, personal service. The food was so well presented, hot and timely and the owner is such a genuine person. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a good, hassle free breakfast in a funky, chilled location. 5 out 5!

The past couple of weeks have been crazy hectic! What with my birthday and my parents and aunty visiting from Jakarta, we've had a lot of reasons to celebrate, but, that means I've been neglecting my blog a little bit and I've missed it! Well, I'm back and I'm here to write about OEC Bob cafe, a new-ish cafe on Newcastle Street, Northbridge. With the Tuck Shop and Old Crow, so close by, this cafe has big name competitions!

Such friendly and attentive service workout getting in your face. The coffee is really good, as are the savory treats. It is also fantastic that this little place is open later dieing the week for coffees - what a niche!

For several months now I’ve driven past a café and been intrigued about what lay inside. Last week I finally managed to check it out and what a surprise. I don’t know what I was expecting but it certainly wasn’t what I experienced. OEC Bob Cafe. I guess the cute Japanese styled fish logo should have been a hint but I didn’t expect to walk into a Korean/Japanese restaurant. That was the first surprise. The artwork was another surprise, it sits well in Northbridge with it's growing international street art collection.Food-wise I opted for the prawn tempura and curry which also came with a side salad. It was a huge delicious plate of food that was so big it was hard to finish.Go for the food but check out the amazing murals.

I absolutely love the owner of this place! Very nice and genuine. Its a new one and definitely worth the visit! I know ill visit again! The food is fantastic! Traditional korean/japanese cuisine with a twist! THEY SERVE ONE OF THE BEST COFFEE IN TOWN! If you go to this place, you have to try their coffee! Amazing

For lunch, I settled on Karaage chicken salad after long deliberation between this and the soft shell crab salad. Well no regrets! When the dish was served, my initial thought was the colour of the karaage was too light so might not be very crispy. But, I was proven wrong. The kaarage chicken was nice and moist with a light and crispy crumb.

The eggs benedict is very nice and you get avocado and tomato in addition to the eggs, toast, and spinach. Since I love all of those things, and the fact that you get bacon over ham, this turned out to be a pretty awesome breakfast.

This lovely cafe tucked away in the quieter regions of Northbridge is definitely a good change of scene from the almost cookie cutter cafes and restaurants you'll find dominating the scene.
My boyfriend and I have been there several times and the coffee and food have not disappointed. Staff are always very friendly and helpful and we really enjoy ourselves each time we are there.

Great place with a lovely little patio to enjoy the beautiful weather, which we still sometimes are lucky enough to have in winter (like today!). It's on Newcastle street and you can't really miss it if you walk past. It' looks very inviting, offers great service and the pumpkin soup that was on special was very lovely!

Also an important thing to mention about any cafe is the coffee, which was great. You can tell that the standards are kept high and there is a good attention to detail, with lovely little touches throughout the cafe that make it unique :) It has a lovely atmosphere with some lovely artwork as well. Keep it up! Definitely recommend a visit.
