Not worth the time nor money! The place is dark and unsavoury with sticky floor and table. We ordered a "Nasi Goreng" and their "Munch Terrace Noodle Special". Both were very tasteless with flavour or depth.
Nasi Goreng was just plain fried rice with salt & LOTS of pepper. I'm guessing the chef hasn't tasted Nasi Goreng.
Noodles was much the same with just a salty flavour with no flavour.
Don't waste your time here, it will leave you disappointed & unsatisfied. ZERO Star

As others here have said, great value for money. Very generous portions, absolutely delicious, and super affordable. I'm talking the $10-15 mark!! You won't regret dining here!

Rice perfect. Wonton unbelievable. $10.50 takeaway crispy chicken lunch meal combo with drink is the most delicious crispy chicken in Perth!!! Menu looks superb, looking forward to trying more items.

Menu prices are very reasonable and it's a very convenient place to quickly grab lunch or dinner. The staff is always friendly and nice however sometimes the food is not fresh and tastes like reheated leftovers. I would rather pay a little extra to get fresh food.

For a little Asian takeaway, the food was remarkably good. I cannot recall when I last had a satay as good! Pleased to see they cater for plant-only vegans as well. All-in-all, a most enjoyable lunch!

Had lunch here after hearing good things. So glad we did! Food was served hot and fresh and quickly. There was one lady out the front doing everything. She was totally amazing and should be commended on being able to run the register, deliver orders and clean up without ever appearing flustered! Will be back!

Lovely service, so polite. Food came out super quick and it’s the first time I’ve ever had tender beef in my char kway Teow, which was beautiful!! Perfectly charred just the way I like, they also gave free fresh chilli!! That gave them the extra star from me!! The lemon chicken was the best my partner has had in Perth a different style to the normal clogged lemon msg filled Chinese chicken. It was crispy and marinated in garlic & lemon delicious!!

Couldn’t believe it... service was exceptional by the counter lady! Friendly and cheerful! Oh yes and the fried noodle I had was brillliant, do go for their signature The Terrace Special Noodle. $10.50 lunch special with a free drink too. Great quick bite for sweet tooths and luckily not overpoweringly sweet.<br/><br/>A little gem I found by mistake, great place.

I wanted to avoid this place... but decided to give it a go at the last minute. Food was ok and service was quick. I tried the spare ribs with rice and they were a bit oily but the texture was spot on and quite tasty. The vibe is not the best but was reasonably good food for a very reasonable price. Portions were generous and food was fresh.

Good portion and reasonable price, however it is safe to say I just had the worst char kway teow ever.<br/><br/>The kway teow was soggier than normal, too much bitterness in the sauce, AND there were only 2 shrimps and 3 thin slices of chinese sausage. Never going back for their kway teow.

Came here with my mates and The food here are incredible tasty and very very affordable. 6 of us orders some Asian food and also assorted exotic cuisines. If you live just just here in East Perth, it must be one of the restaurant CAN NOT missed out.<br/>Highly recommend

They have tweaked the dishes quite abit since a year ago and I must say they have done well.<br/><br/>Something Simple - Singapore Mee Pok. There is a twist, they have this awesome gravy that comes with the pork. yum. You won't get this in Singapore.<br/><br/>Something uncommon - Hokien Fried Noodles. Again the gravy. I could drink it with a straw.<br/><br/>Something special - Beef Hor Fun in egg sauce (Black). No comment, this one was made limited edition, special. Oh my goodness the gravy!<br/><br/>Good work guys. Two thumbs up to the chefs :)

Cheap Produce - Bad food. I decided to try this place for lunch one day and regretted it. I had the BBQ pork with rice which was incredibly bland, the vegetables were overcooked, what little pork there was it was quite chewy and most of it was just pork fat - and plenty of fat there was! Had to leave about 1/3 of the dish as it was simply inedible. <br/><br/>Won't be going here again.

Every dish is wonderful. This place is a true gem. I worked nearby for a few months and regularly visited Munch Terrace for lunch. I have tried many of the dishes and love them all. My favourites are the Singapore Mai Fun, Fried Kway Tao, Nasi Goreng, Beef Rendang, Laksa & Mie Goreng but I am yet to have a bad dish. Everything is $10 or under pretty much so it would be difficult to find a better value lunch or cheap dinner. Now I'm working elsewhere I really miss this place!

New Face. WOW! I was here about a month ago and I walked past last night finding a new look to the restaurant. So, we end up having dinner here. We tried the Special Fried Chicken, Mee Goreng and my favourite Curry Chicken this time and they are delicious. 3 LIKES from me :)

Worst Kway Teow. I remember coming to this place when I worked in the area a couple of years back and didn't think it was that bad from memory. Kway Teow is one of my favourite dishes and as I've moved back into the area, I decided to buy one. It went downhill from there..<br/>Firstly, the girl behind the counter who seemed uninterested that I had walked in didn't understand the question when I said what is in the Kway Teow as I have had some with just beef (recommend Yendo under Woodside building for one of the best beef Kway Teow - $11), some with just chicken and some with chicken and seafood. She eventually got it and said "chicken and seafood" or you can have what you like in there. I just ran with it and said, OK, standard Kway Teow. <br/>I then got back to work and it was horrendous.. not a SINGLE bit of chicken and 2 prawns... plus a couple of bits of some horribly sweet sausage stuff. It was really oily and didn't have that Kway Teow flavour I was after. Even at $8, it was just not of any value worth eating.<br/>Will not be going back to Munch Terrace!

TERRIBLE, DON'T GO. Don't waste your money. Get fast food instead. It was so so bad. hardly any protein in the noodles... and the veges were soggy and sorry. So bad. Being a Singapore national.... this was injustice to Singaporean food. Don't bother with this place.

This place is such a good find! The service was great, and literally minutes after ordering our entree came out followed closely by our 2 mains! Satay beef was outstanding quality, not too spicy but still had a kick. Also ordered mee goreng and was of a good standard! Will definatley be returning here again soon! And the bill didnt even hurt my pocket. "Munch your way to happiness"

Could have been better. I ordered the fried hokkien noodles and was wondering if there would be any protein since the menu description was non existent and the server didn't ask me what I wanted (no inherent problem though). I decided whatever I got (even if vegetarian) I would be happy. What arrived were two (perfectly cooked) small prawns and four tiny morsels of dry chicken thigh mixed into a heap of extemely saucy hokkien noodles. This would have been just fine as served had there been a few vegetables as well. Instead there was only a bit of over cooked cabbage. A decent handful of broccoli, carrots, onions etc would have been a 100% improvement and I would have given a more positive review. However, I'll be having a kebab next door next time...

Best food ever!!. Satay Chicken is the best I have ever tasted anywhere and I have sampled a lot of Satay Chicken. Service is friendly, opening hours used to be better however this food will not disappoint. Wish I lived closer, I would be going there every single day.

This could be a handy option if u r very hungry nd thrs no other place nearby, and u really just wanna fill it rather than bothering about quality of food. This is one of the most shokingly bad eatery where i have ever eaten in my life. Being a non-east-asian, i can cook better food than they do....

Can get busy with business people and tourists at lunchtime. I've been disappointed here with the quality of the food. ... chicken mee goreng had maybe three small pieces of chicken in it for example.

This place has been one of my favorite places for Malaysian food. You are guaranteed to have your meal within 5 minutes of waiting. Nasi Goreng with Sambal Sauce is one of the best I have had.
