Went with my best friend last night, fast service, great tasting food and most importantly the music/music videos that were on you couldnāt fault ! Also went into bottle shop afterwards and the service was great.

What a fantastic night we had for my husbands 50th. Food was fantastic, staff were excellent, friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Large variety of alcohol to chose from which was awesome. Special thank you to Alice for all the organising prior, and to Brooke, Bianca and Abby for making our evening extra special. We came here for dinner after finding the restaurant that we wanted to go to was fully booked on a weekday. This is the second time I been to this bar and the food was amazing. We had the barramundi, beef cheek and the steak. All the dishes were perfect and quite a big serving too. This place was reasonably busy on a weekday night. Staffs are friendly. Would highly recommended it.
I am a very big fan of coming to the Quarie for a drink or two as it has quite a great range of beers and spirits. For a feed, probably but could be a bit better.
Ordered a medium cooked steak with chips and salad, however definitely was more well done than medium.
On the other hand, ordered a dozen oysters with bbq sauce which was particularly good for a late night snack.
Will be back again though to give the food another try.
My second visit to The Quarie was a bit disappointing. It took 15 minutes for wait staff to ask us if we'd been asked about drinks and food.Ā
The sweet potato chips were just as good as last time and the garlic bread was good but done differently. The first visit it was very good.
My husband got the double waygu burger and we agreed that it would be nice if the menu stated just what was 'double' about it. My fish and chips was pretty much a let down. The batter on the fish was very light in colour and then I discovered it was extremely oily. The fryer must not have been hot enough when it was cooked. When I pressed it with my fork the oil began to ooze.
We'll be back for another go; I just won't order the fish and chips again.Ā
I just hope the service is better, otherwise we might reconsider making it our regular place.
Love the new menu with lots of 'pub meals' with a twist. Ribs, parmy & pork belly were excellent, the added chicken to the caesar salad was a bit scarce. Would also recommend loaded sweet potato fries on the shared entrees section of the menu.
Service was good and portions were generous. Beer selection is excellent.
My only concern when dining with groups is no split billing which is a frustrating but common theme in Perth.
My husband and I came here for lunch on a Thursday. The sweet potato chips are the best I've had and the garlic bread is pretty tasty too. Ā I had the salt and pepper squid which was cooked nicely though the chips on the side were only average. My husband has the burger and he liked it, it was a decent size as well, just a bit greasy (though it is a burger so...) I also had the 'Little Red Dress' cocktail. That was probably the best part of lunch for me. It was sweet but not overly so and was a pretty red colour. I'll definitely be back to try more cocktails and maybe the mac and cheese bites next time!
Great atmosphere, friendly staff but food can use improvement. Love the idea of different things happening throughout the week. Will continue to come.
Came here for dinner with some girlfriends and we didn't know what to expect or where Hammond Park even was! The place was quite busy but even though we didn't book we were seated straight away. It had good vibes. We all ordered the ribs and they were quite tasty. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back Ā because of the distance but would recommend if people were wanting a pub south of Cockburn.
Held a small function here the other week, the staff who helped organise it were professional,easy to talk to and helpful. Staff on the night look after the event well, the night went great and would definitely recommend and consider booking again for the next event.
Good atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and two Vegan options š both salads, would love to see a Vegan main~ I had the fried tofu salad, keen to try the quinoa next time!
This was a great place for Sunday night feist. The guy serving us, was great. He knew exactly when we were ready and when we wanted something. Top notch! :) The food was extremely yummy and quick to come out. Especially recommend the salmon special with pork salad and those delicious pork ribs! Yum! Brilliant night, will deffinatly be back!
Opened less than 4 years and located in a newly developed subub South of Perth, I am not expecting much for this dinner as it's a convenience place on my way home. However, it's wow me a bit when I just parked my car and walked into the restaurant. They offered quite a lot of promotion during the weeks, happy hours, etc. They are quite busy and even on that Tue''s evening, it was quite full. For the food, the steak was just a fresh cut or porterhouse, perfectly grilled in my medium liking ! The crab and prawn pasta was full of flavor (crab and seafood) despite it was a bit over spicy for me, my wife loves it very much anyway. The dessert special, apple crumble is nice, like home-made and not really sweet. The coffee's look was so-so as we always look for a great latte art but missing here. Drinks are awesome too, my pint of Quarie Ale was ice-cold and malty. All in all, a great meal if you love pub food. Do not expect fancy plate presentation. All delicious in your mouth !
Great suburban pub! Very impressive craft beer menu, it would be great if they had some more on tap though. š Service is very friendly, especially the bar staff. Had dinner for 5, everyone was happy with the food. For a pub menu it has great vegetarian optionsšš¼ We will be back to join the Monday quiz night soon !
No complaints from me but one of my friends thought her portion of nasi goreng was too small, she let the waitress know and was promptly brought an additional serving of the fried rice.
I ordered a medium rare steak which I thought was spot on, but a friend that ordered medum felt hers was under done.
Taste wise, nothing sensational, but no complaints either. Service staff were excellent.
Highly recommend the haloumi which I had last time I was here and wish I had ordered again this time.
Would highly recommend visiting the Quarie when in the Hammond Park/Success area. The food's pretty decent and the drink range is massive! I wish the restaurant and outdoor area were a little bigger, but it's still a gem of a pub.

Really friendly staff and good food, great night was had by all 6 of us. If you can, try get the outside table it's in its own section kind of like a private booth.
Been to the Quarie a few times now. Love it. Service is always great, food is delicious and well priced, atmosphere is fun. Definitely a place we will keep going back to. Two thumbs up!!!
A good place to come for a drink if you're in the area. Sometimes they have live music on which is great. They either don't do shots here or don't do double shot vodkas etc. cannot remember which one it was but it annoyed me.
Having been to The Quarie a number of times, I was again impressed with the friendliness of the staff: they are a cheerful lot.
We ordered the chorizo and king prawn entree - tasty chorizo, not too grainy. The prawns were juicy and lightly seasoned. The bread was a turkish, deliciously warmed, and not too heavy.
Mains: we ordered the 400g Rib Eye, asked for medium as ordering our preferred med-rare can be risky. The Quarie always deliver: the steaks were excellently charred, with just a little pink inside. Chin dribbling juicy cuts.
I love the selction of boutique beers too. Just can't remember the name of the one I had - was it Young Henry's? An Ale - nicely hopped, fruity ale.Ā
The place was packed, and even though there are concrete floors and smooth surfaces, the ambient noise was not too intrusive.
I think The Quarie is the best pub in the area. Well worth it. Great service. I'll be going back. So will you.

Surf & Turf $36 very good steak but mash tastes like it's a packet one and stingy with the prawns.Garlic herb butter not good-maybe overheated as it was all separated and tasted more like oil than butter.
3 cheese Parmigiana $26. Huge but very, very tasty as they've got herbs in the crumb.Best one i've ever had.
Battered Dory & Chips $23.90. Brilliant nearly every time.Light tempura batter,beautifully cooked,not oily.Aioli is great too.Fresh salad.Best local pub one.
Wagyu burger $24. Great.Brioche not too thick and chips perfect & hot.
Spinach,ricotta & pinenut cannelloni Special (Sat 10th Oct) $19. The only let down so far.Pasta way too thick,balance of filling not balanced-too much spinach and not enough pine nuts for me.Tomato sauce very thick,same as the bƩchamel which was heavy and gluggy. Really heavy going and quite an effort needed to get through.Decent size,3 pieces but not for anyone who likes lighter food.

So close to being perfect but have had some hit and miss with the food. Very rustic and creative dishes and great ambiance in the restaurant. Great place to take family for a nice dinner but I think they still have some room for improvement with food. Service has been hit and miss aswell.
New to south of the river we are starting to explore only been here once it was enough to be put on our revisit list. Although here on a midweek visit with it being half full the atmosphere was still good the food was very nice and our waiter was very friendly and was happy to chat which was lovely.
Had a fantastic lunch here. The squid was really nice and the salad it came with was delicious. Fish and chips was also very good. The prices are a bit more expensive but it's worth it. Staff are really nice too.

Amazing Beef Cheeks. This is a staple of ours, fantastic atmosphere and amazing food. I have tried Parmigiana and Beef Burger and have not looked back since having Beef Cheeks with mashed potato. All food is well portioned and has been fresh and perfectly cooked, have not faulted a night out there.
Love the quarry but we need a new menu!!!!!! We used to go twice a week, friends used to say we lived there, now we only go every few months because the menu hasn't got enough variety, and we have eaten everything on it 50 times!
Please give us a new menu!!!
Loved the food. Beef cheeks were melt in the mouth soft. A definite winner.
Don't lose sight. Where oh where has the beer culture gone. Have faith Mr and Mrs Quarie - please don't lose sight of what you have always achieved so well in order to make your venue compete with the big box up at the shopping centre. Let them cater to the masses, you are different and needs to stay true. Each time we visit, it seems to be a little more diluted.

Always a winner. My best friend and I come here for dinner at least once a fortnight. The food is always good no matter what you order, the staff are helpful and friendly. The beef cheeks has got to be my favourite item on the menu. The only area I see room for improvement is to offer a few cheaper dessert options as they are a bit pricey. But overall good work Quarie!

Sunday Lunch. Just finished Sunday lunch had the scotch fillet (medium rare) with mushroom sauce, chip and salad. The steak was cooked to perfection. My wife had the fish of the day which was grilled Barramundi which was cooked well and had loads of flavour.
Good food. Great place. Food lovely and staff very friendly. Have returned several times now and always been 100% happy. Have ordered the grilled fish with roast veggies.... Yum, also have had the chilli squid.... Very tasty and fresh. Great ambience & trendy pub ... Highly recommended
We come here once a week and cannot fault the service or great food since it opened. My bf loves the beer choices and the daily specials are good value. 1 week we were blown away when our order went astray we were given a full refund when we didn't even ask for one and the food was brought out 5 minutes later. No place in Perth has ever done this!

What a great place! Sunday night dinner. We had lamb shanks and chargrilled chicken - both delicious. Loved the decor, I felt like I was in a trendy Mt Lawley restaurant.
The food at this place is a little more expensive than the average suburban pub, but this is more than justified by the quality!
I've eaten here a few times and always been impressed. The fish and prawn laksa is fantastic!
The beer menu is probably the best in WA and some of the staff are knowledgable enough in that area to assist in the difficult decision making process!

Live locally so been there a few times now. The food gets better! Just had Red Emperor which was on the special, yum ;-) I would advise you book rather than turn up as its always very busy. Even on a week night, which says it all!
A fave for sure!. Alway's a great place to eat. Consistant in service and quality of food. Can get a little noisy at times but on average it's great. Lots of gluten free options and menu choice.
Fantastic. This place was fantastic! The food was the best we have had from a local pub in this area ever! The service was fast and friendly. Love the family friendly environment. We will definitely be taking our little on there.
Mammoth Beer Selection. Having been to many bars and restaurants through out Perth, I have to say The Quarie has the biggest and baddest beer selection around. I have never seen a beer at 41% worth $199!! I went here with a mate to have a couple of Leffe Blonde's and stayed for a pub meal. I had the Kangaroo and he had the Rib Eye. Because the Rib Eye took a while to cook, unfortunatley my Kangaroo was a little cold, but still had a generous amount of flavour. Will return, however will be ordering the soft shell crab as it looked a winner. Rib Eye looked good and the ambience of The Quarie is fantastic. Prefer this place compared to The Gate. Until next time ... 6/10.
A disaster every time we try the restaurant/ table service side- which is usually when we have friends too. Each time they have forgotten all or some of our order. One of the duty managers is useless, obviously could care less-leaving his floor staff to deal with complaints. However the Food is good, drink menu is fantastic and we never have a problem when we order at the bar ourselves.

Desk girl was rude about not having a booking at an empty restaurant and we were surprised by the the size of the mixed Wednesday night crowd by the time we left BUT still lots of room

The food, my partner commented was over priced BUT I feel was probably better than any local competition ( which is not a great deal)
Kila Oyster - no killer- thoroughly enjoyable no buts (except from our elder child about the temperature of the shell vs the oyster!!!! - certainly no influence on the product or the vibe)
My dining partners' Chicken Parma looked fresh and great and disappeared without comment - which IS unusual
My tart had good intentions and could have been cooked a lot less, or more recently, BUT the flavour and presentation was sensational - and we all know how much better it tastes if it looks great

I feel $10 for a kids meal is usually quit a reasonable deal including a soft drink... BUT ice cream is another $5
Impressively fresh looking Nuggets, chips AND...well BUT onion! And Black pepper! (Which I adore by the way) on a kids meal just causes TEARS
We had a great night BUT tears will certainly delay or prevent our return to The Quarrie

Never Been Disappointed. I have been to The Quarrie numerous times and have never been disappointed. I have been at peak times and quieter times and I have always received great service. The food is great and they have a great selection of beers. I prefer the Quarrie over The Gate any day.
I went to The Quarie last week and was surprised by the family vibe. I went with a friend who ordered paprika chicken and I ordered the pork ribs. The ribs were delicious and falling off the bone. My friends chicken, on the other hand, was bland and lacked seasoning.
Overall the service was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. The food wasn't the best but was still fine.

Very enjoyable. Just arrived home from a very enjoyable Sunday dinner at the Quarie. The bar and brasserie were both very busy.
I ordered the Creamy Red Curry Prawns and my Husband ordered the Battered Dory with Chips.
Both very well presented and perfectly cooked. And we both agreeded that there was just the right amount of food on each plate.
Our order was taken promptly and we didnt wait too long for our meal. Service was good.
Will definately be back again.

Excellent food, great value for money! We got the chorizo with bread, caramel chilli chicken wings and the chorizo, rump steak pizza to share. The portion sizes were massive! Even though the bar and restaurant were quite busy, we were served quickly and the waitstaff were very attentive. Will definitely be coming back!!
Love this place, great service, good food, the only thing is the inconvenience of beer over 10 dollars a pint. Lots of change.
Nice place! Decor is clean and modern and the space is welcoming and large. The food is really very tasty, comes in large portions (shame they won't pack leftovers, there were heaps!) and is reasonably priced. They have a wine or beer recommendation for every dish which I didn't test out but thought was a good idea. Only downside - service was very slow for a weeknight, hardly anyone in the place but still took a long time for drinks and food to arrive. Get that sorted and this is a real winner.
Lunch time. From the minute we walked in the door the staff were friendly & helpful. I had fish and chips, the fish was fresh tasty and so white. There were 4or 5 small pieces of fish along with plenty of chips and salad.
My husnad had chicken parmigiana this was a full plump chicken breast with pancetta and tasty cheese (just enough cheese) served with chips and salad.
I also had a mock tail that contained ginger beer,mint and lime very nice.
Well when this place first opened it was terrible. I have since been back twice both time more enjoyable food and service has definitely improved!
Never a bad meal. I have dined here at least 6 times now and the food has always been really good. My partner always has the Beef & Reef and loves it. I have tried various dishes, all good. Service a bit average at times and yes maybe a little bit overpriced. However I am finding most places are overpriced these days....

Good neighborhood pub. We visited this new very convenient addition to our neighbourhood for breakfast a short while ago. The decor is nice and modern. A pleasant place to sit for a drink and meal and they have a kid activity corner on Tuesday nights so that parents can dine while their kids are occupied. Breakfast was OK. I had the ggs hollandaise. Nothing spectacular but serviceable.coffee was good. Service was efficient and friendly. We will go back and will try their dinner menu soon. Prefer this pub to the much busier Gate.
Good Food, Great Service. What impressed us most was the efficient and friendly service we received. We were not felt rushed and all food was brought to us in great time and hot. I had the fish of the day (salmon on pesto mash with broccolini) and it was really nice. The fish was actually hot which made a nice change from other places and my husband had the baby back ribs. They were well cooked, taste wise they weren't "wow" but we'd still get them again. The chorizo appetiser did need a bit more to it (more bread?). We'll be making this a regular place to go.

The Quarie - a little expensive for suburbia. 6 of us went for a goodbye dinner - entres were very expensive, nice but expensive. mains, pasta, gluggy to say the least, parmigana - normal, lamb shanks, arrived on a flat plate?? and did not seems to be browned prior to be covered in a pretty medium sauce, caesar salad, sliced boiled chicken, what aq dissapointment, sirloin steak, cooked perfect but cold, hard around the edges, on mash that was also cold with 2 prawns?? more like shrimp. Wanted to order Grant Burge sparkling but $44 dollars a bottle what the??? First Choice has it as a normal price of $20 a bottle and they want to charge $44 - do they think that just because they are in the suburbs people are stupid. the only good thing was the chirros - freshly cooked, great chocolate sauce. hot and yummy. service was good although why do restaurants like this ask you to keep your cutlery after you have used them on your entre?? what does clean cutlery cost for each course?? the Quarie is clean and tidy, the outside area looks great, light the fire please as it is chilly at night now, on the whole a little expensive for weekly local dinners.
A nice try!. This place is quite new and has the modern look and atmosphere when you walk in. We had lunch there one day and the service was really good. We had he fish of he day which was salmon. Bit pricey. Look the salmon was cooked just right, but was under seasoned and on a bed of couscous so was really dryish. It was pretty close to being really really good but lacked flavour and just that finishing touch. A nice try, I'd go back again definetly to try another dish. Worth a go!
Fantastic spot. Have been here twice now with my family and its a great little spot. Nice food and friendly staff and alot of beers on tap to choose from. Family friendly too which is a plus! I love the pizzas.
Fantastic. Found this little gem by accident! Monday night 5 people no booking made and we all had a great meals. Service and staff both excellent!!! Will be willing making the drive from the Swan Valley on a regular basis.....both my husband and our friend said the oysters kilpatrick were great and I loved the caramel orange chicken wings.....too yummy. Well done everyone and compliments to the chef!!!
Went for lunch on a Wednesday. Place was half full with great buzz. Greeted at bar by smiling waitress who served our beers and coffee quickly, then ordered food. Soft shell crab was great but gnocchi was the star. Great flavours an gnocchi pan fried to perfection. Beer list is awesome, nail ale on tap and a bottle list that many a bar should take note of! Will be back again again
Fantastic Food & Friendly Service. This is a wonderful addition to the area which I have recently moved into. The food and service is very classy and attracts a better sort of clientele than say, The Gate, which is in Cockburn Central. The furniture, decorations, light fittings etc. all set off the place quite nicely - very trendy!
The food is an absolute delight. You can not go wrong! If you go down for a few drinks, may I suggest you order the Aranchini Balls, Chili Salt Chips and Chili Orange Chicken Wings. These are without a doubt, the best I have ever had.
The staff are accommodating, friendly and deffinately apologetic if something is running a little late. Service is always with a smile and have even had staff help me by opening the door to the beer garden and pushing a few tables together!

Divine food!. Had lunch here today and was worried after reading some of the reviews. All six of us were really impressed. The service was good. The food was divine. We had the NZ Salmon, Ceaser Salad, Chicken Maryland, Seafood Trio, Chicken Wings and Chilli Chips. A great alternative for somewhere local to eat.
Enjoyed the tempura king prawns served with pickled cucumber and chilli jam, very nice....however extremely disappointed with the Turkish bread and dips.....the hummous was just mashed chickpeas no lemon, olive oil, garlic, s&p whatsoever..extremely bland.....the tandoori chicken pizza, well what can I say? When it comes to pizza I am a purist..... Do not like tandoori or coriander on a pizza! Plus to top it off, it was cold....
This bar is absolutely Fantastic!! We dined there last Friday and had a blast! The food came out to us quickly, everyone at our table thought their meals were very delicious and of a high standard. We were all very impressed with the friendly staff and their outstanding service. We look forward to our next visit soon :-)
Service Improving - Food excellent!. I've been twice. Staff were still finding their way but friendly and paid attention to our table.
First time I had the King prawn spaghetti (yummy). My friend thought his steak sanger was the best he had ever had (he fancies himself as a steak sanger specialist). Second time we shared the Szechuan soft shell crab, some tempura king prawns and chilli chips. Again the food was very good, the prawns exceptional.
We are going back tonight. I saw someone having the caramel chicken and want to give it a go. If it tastes as good as it looked it could be another winner.

I have been to the quarie three times now and each time all areas have dramatically improved. I guess this comes down to the staff, their training, all involved getting into the swing of this and a lot of hard word I imagine. In just over a week staff who seemed inexperienced at first are now a lot more confident in the process. Breakfast was great on the Sunday with actual soft poached eggs that some restaurants seem to struggle to produce. The Caesar salad has come a long way and the smoked is an unusual but delicious addition. The soft shell crab is definately worth a try as is the pork belly and master stock chicken. All in all some interesting slightly different pub food choices. It's nice to have some good beer available too that doesn't just taste like water or something else I won't name.
Great spot. We dined at the Quarie on the opening weekend. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced, and the place had a very family friendly atmosphere. Loved the decor too. Our service at the bar was prompt and even though all the staff were new, they handled things very well. We ate the prawns, chorizo and bread & dips. Probably some of the tastiest chorizo we've ever had, and the bread was lovely and fresh. Food came very quickly. Will definitely be going back. Can't wait for summer and a few drinks out in the beer garden.
Good addition to the area. We went both days on the opening weekend, and had a late lunch there yesterday. We love the community feeling the place gives you. Ok, it is al new, for staff and management, but give them a few weeks so sort out little hiccups, and it will run a lot smoother. Food need a little improvement is ok, but pricey.The bar area is well set up, and a great selection of beer. Overal, we love the new addition to the area.

We visited both days over the opening weekend, on both trips only stopped for a couple of drinks and had the chilli fries with aoli. Yes it is new and they were having some teething troubles with the till system and the food ordering but I'm sure they will have these sorted out in no time, and this will be a very welcome addition to our neighbourhood. The bar itself is tastefully presented and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
The Quarie has set the bar quite high for suburban pubs, with reasonable prices, friendly service, modern decor and a good range of quality food and drinks. I think we are now going to make this a mandatory stop off on any future southbound trips.

Fast, friendly and efficient staff. As soon as we were seated our drinks orders were made. Much more efficient than queuing at the bar. Food orders were taken with in minutes of all of our table arriving. Food was delicious. Tables ours and others around us were cleaned up within minutes of finishing. I can highly recommend a meal here.
Decor was very industrial little too industrial. Nice bar looks great.
Service was good took a bit of time to clear our tables.

Went for dinner. Had the porterhouse steak medium rare with creamy garlic sauce and loaded chips. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce and chips were delicious.
Had ice cream and brownie for dessert. The serve of ice cream was tiny and the brownie was very dry and hard to eat.
The staff and customer service was amazing. If it wasn't for the poor dessert this would be five stars.
Food was delicious, cocktails tasty. Always reliable. Only down side is that it can be quite noisy. Mixed service by wait staff. Two were bubbly and super friendly, one was quite brusque. Didn't really effect the meal, still had a lovely lunch
Food is fantastic and a great menu and specials. Pricing is very reasonable. The place itself has a really nice vibe and interior design, with plenty of seating options. The staff were also friendly and lovely to deal with
