I’ve been wanting to try this coffee for a long time, and I can’t believe I waited as long as I did, OMG I’d have to say this is the best coffee in Perth city! Soo smooth, not bitter. 100% happy customer!
I love my coffee from Drip House each morning & the occasional bacon & egg bagel for breakfast the staff are so welcoming how they remember their all of their regulars names Im not sure, but it adds something extra to the morning ritual of getting coffee & I look forward to it. Plus I should say coffee is very good.

So I am a coffee snob and do not like trying new places for coffee, however after hearing/reading all the positive comments on Drip House, I just had to try it. I have to say that I am really impressed – the coffee was at perfect temperate and the milk/coffee ratio was spot on. Will defiantly be recommending this place to my colleagues/friends. Good work guys!!

$3.50 for 8oz coffee. Basically unheard of in Perth. Great coffee too. Not much space to sit so defintelt better for a take away coffee. Would come back!
Always wanted to try this one because of the long queue. The house looks specialised in coffee. I ordered a cold drip one but you have to ask for it because everyone else is espresso. All 4 points for the coffee, because I can taste a good brew. They can improve in the handling of the food.
A rare trip into the city and a need for a good coffee. Walking down Hay Street after a sojourn to Elizabeths Bookshop I spied this place wedged between the next door buildings. The service was friendly and prompt. The coffee was sufficiently robust without feeling I had been slapped in the face. All in all a relaxing break before the train trip home. Recommended 😁
The set up is a bit weird, you order at the front but they have a food cabinet right down the back - it had raw type balls and slices and some bagels which all looked pretty good. I only saw that after I ordered a nutella mocha to go and sat down the end table to wait for it. I thought it was a nice coffee but didn't taste overly Nutella-Ry though.
The staff were very friendly, and made the most delicious coffee!!!

Good best city coffee ;) worth the long wait queue. Good bagels. Value for $. Recommended for most must go coffee shot. People who can't do milk coffee. They offers soy and cold drips.
Yes there are often queues and no they don't do gimmicky crap like draw pictures in your frappaccino foam, but who cares?? Consistent coffee, a "soft" blend - I'm no expert - and that inner city energy in here. Also who doesn't love old school commercial hiphop at 8am?

Thought the coffee was ok this morning, a little different from other times and a lot more 'milkier'. Bagels are good and they run a special for a coffee and a bagel for $10 in the mornings. Other deserts look absolutely mouth watering and now that I've seen it Ive gotta try it.
Not consistent with the quality. Definitely a place to try if you're walking through it past. I prefer a few of the other places closer by...
If you like smooth aromatic blended milk-based coffees - hands down the best place in Perth!!
If you like dark roast strong coffees that will give you a kick (and acid reflux) look elsewhere.
It appears a lot of the negative feedback came from people looking for personality from the staff, I am not interested in conversing with anyone in the morning as long as my coffee is good.
I have abandoned Low Down for this place even though it is further out from my routine.
This place is really quick! Heaps of orders and flew through them to have my coffee in hand rather quickly. Staff were pleasant, coffee all takeaway with limited sit in area. The coffee is great and only a short walk up hay st from the mall area!! Check this out!!
Legitimately the best coffee in Perth. Always friendly and the bagels are excellent. Highly recommended, worth stopping in for your morning coffee.
Driphouse is a great cafe for your morning coffee. Good desserts and atmosphere in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend if you're in the area to give it a shot!
Morning pre work coffee run. Trying a new place and was pleasantly surprised. The girl serving wasn't in the greatest of moods maybe it was too early for her but the boys making the coffee seemed in top gear.
Ordered $10 coffee and bagel special. Coffee was above average and the cheese bagel was delicious. Cheesy, garlicky, creamy and light and not too dense. Slightly salted with a nice hollandaise sauce. The egg was still mildly runny so I'm giving it 2 thumbs up for my morning intake of cholesterol
The first time I came here, one afternoon, I was kinda unimpressed with not very cheery service. But their Nutella mocha was delicious so I went back the next few mornings before work. I have developed a lot of respect for their cheery, crazy quick service of A LOT of people in the morning. Seriously I think one of the biggest coffee lines in the city.
Was on the way back to the office when I walked by this cool hideaway cafe. Very pleased with my soy flat white takeaway. Quick service was definitely appreciated too!
Let's be honest....most of Perth's coffee is awful, truly horrible and still people buy it and lap it up thinking it's the way it should be. No...it's not.
Driphouse, like Mrs S in Maylands, serves extraordinarily good coffee among a sea of terrible tastes. Do yourself a favour and try it if you are nearby. It can have a long wait at some periods during the day but I'd rather die waiting in line for quality than head into wolf lane and get the hum drum swamp water they serve up.
Friendly service, big variety of yummy bagels (cheaper than other places! $9.50 for salmon and cream cheese) and delicious coffee. A new fav!
I loved the coffee here (they use Fiori beans) and my long Mac was perfect.
The staff were good and I didn't have to wait too long for my coffee.
Really nice coffee and an even better spot/ fit out for a cafe. If only I could get in the city more than I do, I would be a lot happier the coffee here is very good even for a Fiori outlet ;)
At LAST - Great Coffee, Service and Price, great for your soul...... A few weeks ago, you would of walked straight past this hidden gem, but now, the stream of cliental speaks for itself. They simply have the hat trick here, Great coffee, service with a smile and finally, a price we all should be paying for coffee, and not the over inflated $$$ that Perth people are have to pay, AND, they are in the CBD, high overheards, so no excuse for anyone else to charge any more. Been here a few times now, worth the wait or walk. Coffee.....tingling sensation in my soul

Drip House Are Leaving There Mark!. Lets categorize Drip House.
1st) Price - Find me a place in the city that can beat $3 for 4oz, $3.50 for 8oz, $4 for 12oz, $4 for cold drip (most places charge 6+) & without charging extra for Soy milk drinkers?!
2nd) The Coffee/Beans - They use what widely regarded as the best beans in W.A, a blend of "Fiori", single origin which is my favorite or cold drip coffee which is only priced at $4, which is crazy considering most places charge $6+
3rd) Their Machine - A "Slayer" one of the highest rated machines in the world!
4th) Service - Have been nothing but lovely, friendly & greeted me the few times I've been in. Has a really nice welcoming vibe to the place as well.
Overall - A+ (truly believe they'll be regarded as one of the top Coffee shops within a matter of weeks)
My personal opinion they've really shaken up the Perth CBD coffee game! Obviously there's a number of Espresso bars in the city, but people aren't lined up for no reason. Considering they've only been open for 2 weeks too!

Best Coffee in Perth. I usually never write reviews but for Drip House I'll make an exception. It's a new place in the CBD where there are many coffee places but it has quickly established a buzz amongst those in the area. It is a fantastically designed place where you can get your coffee to go or have a quick sit. While you're in there, you don't feel like you're in boring Perth, but some other flash metropolitan city.
But that's not even important. It's the coffee. And the coffee was amazing. A well balanced coffee with the right amount of acidity and body. The coffee blend doesn't leave a bitter taste in the mouth and actually has a sweet aftertaste. The second time I visited one of the staff recommended the cold drip and it was beautiful. I'm not a usual for that kind of brew but I'll definitely be having more of it now.
The staff were also very friendly but bear in mind that certain hours they are really busy. Going there for the morning coffee there is a huge line and I found noon to be the sweet-spot - people still getting coffee but not so much of a wait. Then again, the human traffic towards the place is another signal as to how good it is. Recommend 110%!
I have to say best coffee in perth! The texture was so smooth and creamy and it had that caffeine kick. Definitely recommend this place to all the coffee lovers! The staff are also friendly and the service is great. My go to place as of now.

Dropped in to Driphouse for the 1st time when passing and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly service even though it was very busy with lots of people waiting, so can see now why it is very popular. Coffee was great. They carry all types of milk including lactose free milk & a variety of snacks/rolls/meals. Well worth a try out if you've never beeb before. They are tucked away next to Wesley Church on same side in Hay Street
