Review To To Vietnamese Restaurant - Perth

Natasha
I really enjoyed having dinner here on a weeknight. Great place to have any dish from vietnemese soups, fried fish, stir fries. So many meal options. They do have a board with chef recommendations to make choosing a bit easier. Our table ordered Tom Yum soup đŸČ (main), fried rice (combo), lemon grass chilli đŸŒ¶ chicken and lemon grass chilli đŸŒ¶ prawns. All the dishes were delightful and enjoyed by the whole table. The service is super friendly and helpful. Will be back to try more dishes.

Returned after 3 years, since the refurbishment i was curious to experience the ‘change’. Service was very good, helpful and accommodating! Friendly! Pho was nice, tho not what i exactly ordered (Ordered Chicken we got the beef - did not fuss too much to ‘return’ it, just went along with the ‘flow’). Vegetarian Omelette was delicious and fluffy - served with oyster sauce - a nice ‘different’. Barramundi Fried fish was THE BEST we have had. Tom Yum soup noodles was ‘sour and spicy’ Just the way dad likes it! *Big thumbs up* and GENEROUS in serving sizes too! Last BUT not the least - My partner LOVED his Vegetarian CKT!! Very nice vibe and i was just loving the music, mostly singing or tapping away to the 90’s playlist they had going on, it was a great ambiance. The newly fitted furnishings and interior is much nicer, making it a little more spacious and slightly airy - we found it much more inviting and comfortable! Highly recommended!!

I was very happy with the food. Serving sizes are really good as well. Service was a bit rushed and gluten free menu is very limited hence 4 stars.

Sweet and Sour Fish was really good! Thin, crispy batter on big fresh chunks of fish, standard sweet and sour sauce. Seafood claypot was nice, lots of fish but not very many vegetables. Prices are slightly high at $20-25 a dish (noodle dishes around $15), but overall a tasty meal and the wait time was okay despite it being very busy on a Friday night.

Pretty average vietnamese place. It's not the best pho tai I have ever had but ok. Bo luc lac was quite a disappointment though

Went out for lunch, wanted to try this place again after a few years since my last visit. Shaking beef, which would be a personal favourite at other Viet restaurants, was extremely bland, albeit its good texture. Salad garnish was old and almost rotten, very disappointing.

We order a braised pork pho and a beef stir-fried, the carrots in the pho might have been soaking in vinegar for long time, the broth taste acidic and sour, lot of msg. Beef stir fried pho was plain.

Got the rare beef & meatball pho + soya bean with grass jelly, both were ehhhh. the meatballs were so chewy and tasted hell processed. rare beef was good. the pho broth was so flavourless
I had one sip of the soya bean drink and couldnt handle anymore lol only came here as Papa Sweet Tooth (Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant) from across the road was closed :( We were hoping to find another vietnamese place with good pho.. sorry but this aint it. Nice presentation of the restaurant, awesome menu and good staff however.

Enjoyed last night’s dinner a lot. Never tried this place before. The menu is extensive , glad the friendly staff member gave us a helping hand. I plan to go through the menu in my next few take outs and dining outs. Quite crowded for a Wednesday night. Makes me believe the place must be doing something right.
Harsh But Fair
Are here a while back and did not like it at all. Copped a hair that even rapunzel would be proud of in my soup. Never again.

Been there 4 times<br/>because my wife loves vietnamese noodles. But we Wouldn't go anymore.

this place use to be good, and I have been there for at least 8 times. I ordered a rice noodle soup and there is 4-8 noodle in there. thats it, nothing else. totally not worth the money! the taste changed as well. I will not come again.

DISAPPOINTING! The food was NOT at all delicious or authentic. Every single thing we ordered was a let-down. The crab meat noodles I ordered was a bit of a joke. The food here were nowhere near the same level as you would find in other Vietnamese restaurants in Perth. Do not waste your time and money in this place.

Beautiful food and good service. <br/><br/>First time being here and definitely returning. They were prepared to change meals around due to dietary requirements and very friendly about it unlike most. <br/><br/>The spring rolls (normal size not mini) were absolutely superb oh my god best ever!!!!!! <br/><br/>As for the green chicken curry perfect size for a male who has a large appetite<br/><br/>Thanks for the lovely night!!

I came to this place a while back and I said to myself afterwards first and last time. I’ve tasted a lot of different type of pho and this place is one of the worst.
Gnetss
Still the best pho in town! I’ve been to a few around Perth and will always still return to Toto! The broth is so tasty! and beef is sometimes fresh, else nothing to complain. Will keep going back to Toto until I find a new pho place that tops Toto!

ToTo Vietnamese is a fantastic and exceptional restaurant to dine at. They have quality services, with a nice, tidy and ambient atmosphere. The food here is very good - even enhancing the flavours of vegetables. Loved it.

Beautifully decorated restaurant that open till late. We tried the fried hor fun, to to signature fried kuey teow and grass jelly drink. All were pretty good except the hor fun which is bland and starchy. More pricey than average vietnamese restaurant but given the ambience, it is reasonable. Service was exceptionally good.

*Rating is a 3.5*<br/>Like coming here specifically for their seafood Tom yum soup which is very good. Big selection on their menu, noodle dishes are pretty tasty (seafood ho fun is good), san choy bow and rice paper rolls are all nice. Some dishes are a bit hit and miss though. Service has always been polite, the place is usually busy which is a good sign and it has a nice atmosphere.

Food: Tasty food. Portion size is slightly smaller & prices are higher compared to their competitors. eg. Stuffed chicken wings $12 vs $8 at most Vietnamese restaurants for the same dish and quantity. <br/><br/>Service: Hit and miss, especially when it comes to the service of the guy who runs the place. <br/><br/>

The decor and the seating is nice and the ambiance is decent, but the food is a major let down. The pho and the vermicilli was ok, but the springs rolls were too floury and thick, which I just find really unappetizing. The food also takes a little while to prepare, so this isn't a good place to go for a quick lunch break. I don't recommend this place.

I liked their pho and vermicelli, but I didn’t like their main dishes. The steamed chicken and tamarind prawns we ordered tasted just ok but it’s just a one time thing I would never order them again. I ordered a grass jelly drink and water, my drink came and waiter didn’t bother to give us any water. 3 star is only for the pho.

My best friend an I made a deal we would work our way down the East Victoria Park cafe strip over the next 6-8 weeks. <br/><br/>We intend to dine at a different restaurant chosen at random once a week. This week we dined at To To...Sadly I don’t have too much to say. <br/><br/>The owner of the restaurant (from my impression) is unintentionally rude. Very obnoxious to staff and loud around/in front of customers. <br/><br/>The restaurant itself is very crammed, small, and over crowded by tables which are side by side to each other. You’re basically dining with the complete strangers seated beside you as the tables are no more than 10cms apart. <br/><br/>The food was soooooooo standard. Greasy and not very flavoursome. It was more like cheap Chinese food as opposed to authentic Vietnamese. <br/><br/>We paid $80.00 for two people, which included two entrees and three mains to share. The restaurant is BYO which is probably the best thing about it. <br/><br/>Don’t waste your time.

I had a wonderful time here. Food was delicious I had tom yum soup and sang choy bow for entrees and chilli and pepper chicken, honey chicken and kwioy tao. The service was absolutely brilliant. Would definitely dine here again! Awesome!!!<br/><br/>Although one thing is that it is a little bit pricey.

Honestly, I want to give 1 star because of their service - and I thought it was just me - but then after reading many many other reviews, I know I am not being bias here. The service was appaling. The staffs didn’t greet you, long waiting time, they didn’t bother to attend to you after you order (ie they quickly get your order and that’s it, if you want something extra, I literally had to stand up and walked to the counter). And the worse thing was they were really rude when taking order, it’s like they were forced to do it. <br/><br/>Anyway, enough about the service, I decided to give 2 star because the food was not that bad. Not good, but not that bad either. Yes the chicken was too dry, the pork was hard, and it was pricey, but it’s still worth 2 star.

To To, more like NO NO. This place is perhaps one of the worst Asian restaurants I've ever been to. The vermicelli and spring rolls were so soft and mushy. The fine cut meat in the vermicelli were non-existent, didn't taste it or felt like I had any at all. Please save your money and venture to the many other fine establishments around Vic Park. This place is definitely not worth it.

1. Ordered Combination Beef Rice Noodle Soup & To To Soft Bone Pork Rice Noodle Soup, they are very delicious! Strongly recommended! <br/>2. Ordered Fried Spring Rolls, tasted as the same with other restaurant.<br/>3. The only thing I am not happy on is have to pay surcharge via ANY cards payment (debit & credit card).
Adam Cleland
The only reason I am not giving ToTo one star is because it USED to be good. I have lived in the area for a few years and have made this one of my regulars. Last night will be the last time I will go there. I ordered Spring Rolls which tasted like they had been from a Coles bag up the road. We also ordered Lemon Chicken and Mongolian Lamb with a serve of rice – price was normal. The quality however, was not. It was like we were using the night before’s leftovers. Everything was rubbery and bland. They have been on a decline in my view for the past six months. It’s certainly not my loss as there are a plethora of QUALITY restaurants along the strip. Unfortunately, ToTo’s used to be one of them – it doesn’t seem like it anymore.
Shadykiller_9
Food is decently good, however it is overpriced. Especially the drinks omg are they overpriced!! Service wise, it is comically poor. Waiters will look away and pretend you don't exist 50% of the time. I have to tell a funny story regarding service at this place it's hilarious omg. <br/>My friend ordered the broken rice dish and wanted his fried egg well cooked. Of course after this specific instruction, the egg was runny. My friend sent it back to the waiter. He gave us a death stare, and brought the dish to the kitchen. We waited, and waited, and waited.....15 minutes later a new serving was brought to our table. My friend stabbed into the egg, and sure enough, it was even runnier than before!! I'm not sure if the staff were just having a good old laugh at the back, but suffice to say we just walked out.
Foodie In Paradise
We used to come here quite regularly years ago so decided to come here again for a quick dinner on a weekend night. <br/>Food all taste very average. I had the pho and it was full of MSG. Service was quite good.

Went here tonight to have my fix of Pho Tai Bo Vien, and to show my significant other my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. Service was excellent efficient and friendly and food was as amazing as it always has been. As well as the pho, we also got stuffed chicken wings, mini spring rolls, vegetarian fried rice and fried noodles with vegetables. All food was very fresh and to a high standard and unlike many restaurants in Perth they made their vegetarian dishes full of flavour and appetising to look at. I can see myself becoming a regular.
Rafira
One of my favourite restaurants in Perth. Known for their fantastic egg noodles and pho. Good at all times of day, always flavourful and satisfying! A true gem of Vic Park.
Finleyhimawan
Like this place for their casual dinner and been here for a few times too. We always had the broken rice, braised beef noodle soup and this time we tried their combination fried rice. The food is good and the service is always good every time we are here so we quite like coming back here if they’re not too busy as sometimes they might be a bit busy and there’s a bit of a queue.
Kun
The soup of Pho was very nice, with very good quality of beef. The Black butter chicken was amazing. The overall taste of food is great. The only pity was the rice noodles in Pho was a bit over cooked and started to break down into small pieces.
Jen
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST VIETNAMESE FOOD I'VE EVER HAD. The noodle looked like it had been soaked for a very long time and ANYTHING BUT FRESH. The staff and the owner insisted it was fresh but anyone could tell even just by looking at it (even in the photo) that its all soft and soggy. No replacement, no service AND WORST OF ALL, NO APOLOGY!!!!! NOT HAPPY 😡

The best Vietnamese food is known to be north of the river. However I have always heard good things about To To in Victoria Park. My partner and I decided to check this place out and see if it was on pare with the restaurants in Newpark (aka Girrawheen/Marangaroo area). Upon arrival, the place was quite busy. Price is comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants however the portion sizes are definitely smaller. Rice vermicelli with grilled pork and spring rolls is probably one of my favourite Vietnamese dishes to order. The dish had nice flavours and was overall tasty. My partner ordered the pho (his favourite dish) and said it was aright – not the best that he has had. I tried some and I would also agree. Given that I have the luxury of living where the heart of many good Vietnamese restaurants are, I personally don’t think that I would drive all the way to Victoria Park for it. However for those who are south of the river, it’s a decent place to go.

To To should be named 'slow slow', we sat patiently waiting for a waiter to take our order, all staff seemed to avoid eye contact and continued to seat other customers. Finally took our order then waited over half hour to deliver one entree and forgot our main. Slow & dissatisfied with lack of service. Not even an apology from staff. We won't be back!

Worst experience ever.<br/>The food is good. Nothing special but not under expectations.<br/>The service but, has been one of the worst I have ever received.<br/>We entered at he restaurant at 2:00 after seeing at the entrance closing time 3:00.<br/>We have been seated and served of the menus.<br/>After 2 minutes the waiter told us to hurry up choosing because the kitchen was closing in 10 min.<br/>So we took the food order and the waiter runned away without asking if we wanted any drink.<br/>After calling him asking for the drink list, we placed the drink order.<br/>At 2.40 while eating the waiter came with the eftpos to ask us to pay if we had finished... my answer obviously has been "I don't know!".<br/>But the shocking thing happened at 3.00 on the dot.<br/>They turned music and all the lights off, the whole staff sat at a table and they started eating completely ignoring us. <br/>We finished our lunch and we have been completely forgotten from the whole staff.<br/>No one looked after us or even considered my tentative to bring they're attention.<br/>At the end I had to pay the full amount for half of the service and I don't think is fair.<br/>I've been asked to pay and leave in a really rude way and so I did.<br/>Never ever again.<br/>I really ask myself how can be that services like that can be delivered in a "restaurant" nowadays.<br/>

Service was nice. Really fast eventhough it was a rush hour.<br/><br/>However, the food is not up to the standard unfortunately. The pho stock was disappointing. Too salty and wasn't as rich as it should be. I suspected it might be from a stock. Hopefully I am wrong though, as it will be a disgrace for Vietnamese restaurant.<br/><br/>The broken rice was so-so. The pork chop was too tough while the other components were okay.<br/><br/>The noodle with tomato soup based was okay. Again, it was too salty for my liking.
Ilovebeansprouts
Great place for individual serving type of dishes like the pho, noodles or fried rice. Some recommended dishes:<br/>😋 Pho<br/>😋 Broken Rice<br/>😋 Prawn Toast<br/>😋 Seafood Yam Roll<br/>😋 Braised Beef with Lemongrass with Rice Vermicelli<br/>😋 Grilled Pork & Spring Rolls with Rice Vermicelli<br/>😋 Braised Beef noodle soup<br/> <br/>Food here in general is tasty, flavoursome, and priced more on the premium side. Some dishes are worth the price, especially the individual noodles/rice dishes, while others are not. In particular, the Seafood TomYum hotpot to share between two is way overpriced; the amount of seafood you get in there really doesn't justify the price at all. <br/>Nonetheless, ambience and setting is unique and cozy. Plus, service is good.

Came for lunch on a Friday. It was busy however we were seated and served quickly. The staff were very attentive. Had chilli squid which was overdone, so it was chewy. The San chow bau was tasty. However both meals were pricey.

Been here a few times. They have a great variety of selection. Staff is friendly and the ambiance is ok too. Food is not too bad. My favorite is their soft bone pork noodles. yummy!!

I really like the decor and fast service of Toto. Toto serves a wide variety of Vietnamese food. It's not my favorite Vietnamese restaurant but it's still ok. <br/>A great addition to Vic Park

Its a decent vietnamese restaurant with great ambience.  We were disappointed with the hand roll, it felt like it was premade and been sitting there for awhile.  Our mains were good which made up for it.  We finished our meals pretty quickly but wanted to stay and chat.  They didn't rush us although it started to get busy which was nice.

Average dishes are quite tasty, prices are reasonable. More like chinese-vietnamese fusion type dishes. Shop is always full of customers. Nice place to eat

This is some good Vietnamese food heređŸ‘đŸŒ The food's pretty oily to my liking but overall the flavours are pretty spot-on and the price is rather reasonable. The fish cakes were flavoured really well while the PhĂł had a decent soup base. Would definitely come back again to try the other dishesâ˜ș

Spur of the moment visit to vic park. Nothing beats a good hot bowl of soupy noodles from Toto. Always good food. We will be back for sure. 👍

nice place...great food, reasonable price...this place always get very busy during lunch time. we always go for number 42 or 49 on their menu.

The award for Perths Foulest soup must go to this restaraunt, to be fair I was warned by the waiter and even the menu mentioned it was... an acquired taste<br/><br/>Not for the faint of heart I ordered BĂșn máșŻm a fermented fish soup which has to be in all honour the most goddamn foul thing I've ever eaten, a smell so putrid and pungent that it tasted like concentrated rage coupled with the pains of a broken home.<br/><br/>The waiter was lovely and offered me lemon wedges and a heaped bowl of chilli to assist my descent into hell while he and his collegues (rightfully so) laughed as I attempted to eat something that tasted like you just got throat punched by mums cooking.<br/><br/>To cut a long story short I gave up on trying to eat this bowl of sin and ordered the kweoy tow, it was entirely average but I was ok with that after the previous assault.<br/><br/>I've been coming here for a few years on and off now, the place is usually packed on fri/sat nights.<br/>Food is well priced and very average but the place has ATMOSPHERE and banging wait staff that go above and beyond.<br/>Give them a go but for heavens sake don't order that bloody soup.

We dined at Toto about 18 months ago and swore we'd never return, but today my wife was craving Pho. We drove from the causeway end hoping to find something else, but Toto was the first place that was open - it was a bit after 11am and the restaurant was almost empty. So, on the off-chance that things had improved since last time we gave it another crack. Here it is in a nutshell. <br/><br/>The kids ordered spring rolls. The sauce was too spicy for the kids so they asked for water. They wouldn't serve tap water. We're a family of five on a budget, so that makes a difference. <br/><br/>My fried chicken was dodgy. Firstly, it seemed strange that it was smothered in sweet-chilli sauce - the kind that is typically Thai and you can buy in a bottle at Coles. I suspect it was an attempt to hide the refrigerated-then-reheated taste, since no Vietnamese would ever smother their chicken with this stuff. THE CHICKEN WAS COLD IN THE CENTRE. That is, cold like it had just come out of the fridge then been REHEATED for an inadequate amount of time - so was warm on the outside and chilled in the centre. Upon paying the bill I asked about it, and the fellow said it was fried but they mustn't have cooked it through. He laughed as he said it - like it was funny. <br/><br/>The soup my wife had been craving went almost untouched. It was very ordinary. She also had to ask for chopsticks and they forgot to give her a glass of ice with her Vietnamese iced coffee. <br/><br/>When I paid with my card (+2%), the cashier asked if I wanted a receipt, and I did. He returned my card without the receipt then said, "you've already paid", as if to hurry me along when I stood waiting for it. I said I'd like my receipt and he pulled it out of a drawer, showed me the amount, then put it back in his drawer. <br/><br/>They refused us water, the service was a shambles, and WE LEFT HUNGRY SINCE THE FOOD WAS UNPALATABLE. <br/><br/>Next time? There won't be a next time. Inauthentic trash sums it up pretty well.
Fiorella
Food was great, menu was huge! The service was great. Squeezed us in before they were closing and it didn't feel like we were rushed. Will definitely return.
Paul Beattie
The food wasn't good but the service was amazing. All the food was either overcooked or cooked in old oil. There are far better vietnamese restaurants in perth.
Nicholas
I brought my grandma and my mom to the restaurant during stormy weather because I used to love the food here. We were received by a waiter and he advised that we need to wait for a few minutes. So we were waiting near to the entry, inside of course because of the strong wind and the heavy rain. The waiter harshly asked ask to wait outside, and I said I could, but I requested for him to let my grandma and my mom wait inside since it was very very cold and wet outside. Yet, he raised his voice and told us off that no one can wait inside until the table is ready. It was very very embarassing moment for us to be kicked out from the restaurant that I once loved, in front of surrounding customers. It was not like there was a long queue or big crowd waiting for a table, we were the last group waiting for a table. I could not believe that the hospitality of this restaurant was so bad that not even elderly customers can be allowed in to the restaurant to eat, and furthermore, mocked and kicked out! This restaurant is a joke!
Kevy K
Cannot quite understand why this restaurant is so packed on a Saturday night. Perhaps it's the Victoria Park 'vibe' or perhaps it has it's own string of followers who don't know better.<br/><br/>A very busy evening service. The place was full, a queue of perhaps one group or two noted outside.<br/><br/>Service was from several young floating asian waiters. Which was to be expected. Service however was more than lacklustre, even for a casual asian restaurant. Our order was promptly taken. Plus one. Dishes however, came out entirely randomly and our ONE bowl of white rice came out 15 minutes after the first dish. I had to ask for it. The second bowl randomly came out after the third dish. And the third bowl ... well that never arrived.<br/><br/>Have the people who rave about the food here not eaten in Vietnam? Or known a Vietnamese friend who had cooked for them? I would hardly rate the quality. Nor the pricing.<br/><br/>San Choy Bow. Stir fried pork with hoisin sauce. Nice large plate, salty and quite tasty. Tenderised meat. Broken cabbage leaves, no cutlery to eat it with (that came out after another 10 minutes). We ran out of cabbage pretty early on and had to wait for the dish to get cold whilst neither rice nor cutlery arrived. Yay. <br/><br/>Stir fried beef cubes with pepper sauce. Ground pepper in a lemon juice. Overcooked tenderised steak with caramel sauce. Sigh... Another Vietnamese restaurant does the most gorgeous cubed scotch fillet medium rare, cubed into this delightful peppery, salty yet lemony sauce.<br/><br/>Kuay Teow. Okay dish. Same as I'd expect at a food court or hawker. Nothing stood out but couldn't really fault it either.<br/><br/>Deep fried fish. Oh my. A rather, not so fresh whole fish over-cooked and over-fried to a crisp with no flavour, other than tough fishy fish. I'm not going to expect the succulent chunks of cubed and filleted battered fish surrounding the fish head and deboned carcass. But I was expecting a 'chef's special' to be better than this.<br/><br/>Add to that, a 2% credit card surcharge. No tap water. Bottled water charged for. Corkage was reasonable at $4/bottle. And a shoddy food service. Well, thankfully the company was better. Dinner came to over $30 pp. <br/><br/>There is nothing special about this Vietnamese Restaurant. Overhyped, overrated, overpriced. And I may add, the food wasn't really authentic Vietnamese styled anyway.<br/> <br/><br/>Perhaps the noodles/Pho dishes are better. I probably won't ever bother to find out.
Cheryl Fletcher
Absolutely the best, can not fault this restaurant, terrific food, quick friendly service, great attention to detail in the decor and cleanliness, would recommend to anyone!! thank you 👌
Lisa
Very busy yet quick services. The settings are too cramped, not family friendly. <br/>We ordered stuffed chicken wings for entree and braised beef noodle soup and Vietnamese fries Kway tiao. Somehow our main comes first before entree which defeats the purpose of having an entree. <br/>Braised beef noodle soup was great, the beef was very tender and lots of flavour.
T-M@c
The broken rice with pork chop and fried egg was delicious and well balanced. The food served here is tasty and fresh although they have lost a for the small portions, cost and bad service.
Lakmonsta
Yummy fast and good value for money. Fave dish here is the dried soup. Prawn rice paper rolls were also a hit tonight. The bottled water was amazing! (Weird that they refuse to serve tap water).
Vegemicated
The food could have been absolutely amazing, cooked by the queen herself or fallen from the stars but the fact that they DO NOT SERVE TAP WATER, in my book, renders them pitiful, disgraceful & pathetic! Oh but don't worry, they had bottled water for sale. And when we asked for a jug of water for a bunch of flowers that had been brought as a gift for our friends, it arrived promptly. So the flowers got water, but we did <br/>not. To top it all off when it came time to pay we were presented with a 2% surcharge on ALL credit cards. What a joke!
Iratoimasu
This place is always packed! Fast service and great food. I love their garlic chicken, crispy skin with to die for garlic sauce on top. We always order their fried kway teow noodles. You must order their young coconut juice.
Mihir Pande
Consistent high quality delicious food. We've been here multiple times and are yet to be disappointed. Must have dishes- fried rice and pork vermicelli noodle salad.
Andrew Davey
There are two kinds of Asian restaurants in Perth.<br/><br/>The first exists because the owners love food and want to be able to share the unique tastes of their home country with the eating public... while making some money, obviously.<br/><br/>The second exists because the owners are looking for a good way to make a buck, and have worked out that there are ways of balancing quality, price and volume in a restaurant to produce profitable returns.<br/><br/>To To is firmly in the second group. <br/><br/>When I asked for water, I received a bottle of spring water from the supermarket. And I overheard a waiter telling a neighboring table that they don't "do" tap water. Now, I'm pretty sure that's illegal. It also gives you a little insight into their idea of customer service.<br/><br/>It's relatively cheap, relatively noisy, the food is edible and the staff treat you how they see you: as a wallet with a stomach attached. I'm sure the owners are laughing all the way to the bank.
Dan Vo
As a person with Vietnamese ethnicity, this restaurant is by far low on food quality standards. I purchased the Pho Dac Biet from here and it was drastically disappointing. The soup base was incredibly bland, the bean sprouts and mint (that come complimentary at any Vietnamese restaurant with Pho) were served in incredibly small portions, the beef balls texture were more the frozen quality and i was served beef ligaments more than I did meat. On top of that they charge $2/cup of tea/person which is ridiculous, even in the CBD it costs $1/person. This place has disappointed me in food quality over and over again and at such an expensive price.<br/>DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone who likes genuine authentic Vietnamese dishes because this will RUIN VIETNAMESE FOOD experience that I have grown up in.
Chaos
Nice place. Okay service it was pretty busy so obviously i didnt expect being waited on all yhe time. Seated by the oayment area so was always duckin in my vhair every few minutes to move for the payees. Food delicious. We got the prawn toast to share (way too oily) but its fried so what did i expect. Still nice though very different would be the word. Then I had the szechuean beef and my hisband the wonton noodles and both very enjoyable dishes. My inlaws also came and they had the viet spring rolls and a few other dishes i forgot to ask about but they finished every plate so thats a positive as they never eat what they dont like. Well worth coming to this place
Mena
Hard to get in here sometimes but the food is worth it. Really fresh and tasty (taste, not dripping in oil). Fast and friendly service, but no free water which we thought was odd. Can be a bit noisy too, but really worth it.
THE ILLUSIVE FEMME
Very large menu. Ordered a few dishes to share, including the Chicken Rice, Lemongrass and Chilli Beef, Fried Kway Teow and Spring Rolls. Kway Teow was nice - not as flavoursome as I prefer, but really enjoyed the punch of the lemongrass and chilli combo beef. Fresh flavours, plus they serve vietnamese iced coffee made with condensed milk, OMG!
Thomas
Food is decent for a western take on Vietnamese food (aka lots of salt). They don't serve tap water which I found a bit strange. They hassled us out of there in under 30 minutes as it was a busy night. Other than that, it is a nice asian place for some quick food.
Catrina Orton
One of our favorites! They always have a table for us even tho they are fully packed. The food is consistently good and the staff are always super friendly.
Antony
A welcome return from an old favourite. Friendly service and spot on food. Love that pepper pork and the sambas vege. Fish cakes are always a good way to start.

This place holds a special place in my heart. The service was exquisite. I was treated like royalty as they carried me above them to my seat. The food was an explosion flavour and juices. After my meal I felt reborn. I can now see the light of Toto. 4/5 stars. Good shit bra.
Noodles
Happy with my meal! Wasn't exactly authentic but still had good flavour. The owner is great and I love how involved he is! Will try more from here.
Dan
The food is amazing and so well priced. Atmosphere is great as well, love the little plants everywhere. Thinking about moving closer so I can eat here more often.
More Than Nourishment
This place is always busy so make sure you book in advance. It is one of my favourite Vietnamese places in Perth with a very comprehensive menu. The crab udon noodle soup (number 20) is my all time favourite.. the best in Perth and I can never go pass this dish when coming here. Fast service but slightly more expensive than your usual Vietnamese restaurant. Still highly recommended!

Toto is one of my favourite Asian restaurants in town. The food never disappoints me but most of the dishes are overpriced over the year... They offer lots of options for food and drinks.

Still remember driving past the first time three years ago, we were looking for a place to have lunch nearby and To To was packed. That's always a good sign, and we did not disappoint. Good broth for pho and it's very flavoursome. <br/><br/>Needless to say we've been regulars ever since.
Ella Donaldson
Excellent excellent food and fast service. I wish they still did the chicken omelette though, it was my favourite. Wonton noodle soup is flavoursome.
Sophia
Good food, ok service. The fishball noodle soup is very good! Would recommend that. :) the beef cube is cooked well but not something I will come back to eat.

Came here for my birthday a few months ago. It was really busy with all the tables full and people waiting outside for tables. Probably best to book for a big group beforehand. The menu was really extensive and I had a hard time deciding what I wanted! There were some more dishes that were more of a chinese cuisine rather than vietnamese! The owners are from hong kong. We knew because they started talking to us in cantonese. The food was average but I liked the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant at night. Would return in the future to try the other dishes on the menu.

If you’re after a quick, yummy and cheap meal in a restaurant with a buzzing atmosphere, this may be just the spot for you.<br/><br/>I found the dining experience/service pretty average but To To’s definitely has its place as a hip and popular restaurant in Vic Park. The food is good, there is heaps of variety, it’s very cheap and it’s BYO (wine AND water).
Leo So
The worst experience ever, bad service, rude manager! There is many better option in the area. We will never go back there again!!!!!!!!!!
Sugarbutterflour
Food always consistent.. Give plenty of lemon to make the pho tastes wayy better :) and the crispy chicken dry noodle is good! Chicken is crispy and tasty, springy noodle and nice soup.. Great place for dinner.. You can book too to secure a table!
Paula Astria
Actually i only come here today only for one menu which is the spring roll rice vermicelli. I went and eat delicious cold rice noodle with crispy spring roll and thats it, satisfied! I would recommend also the prawn , chicken and pork lotus salad. Best salad.
Kristen Fernandes
Beautiful decor inside, was really taken aback by how pretty it was. The menu was expansive and the food was average, nothing really stood out. Probably should have ordered more traditional Vietnamese dishes. Staff were really friendly and helpful for the Sarurday night rush. We got the booth right at the back, away from all the noise and bustling about it was quiet and secluded.
CookieMonster
Quite Large Portions and Quick Service. Flavours weren't so great! Reasonable Prices. Not much variety for Vegetarians. Drinks are nice and large variety. Food Presentation Basic.
Rochelle Cleland
Awesome food, quick service, we got four dishes and a rice between 4 of us and was enough. We went with our toddler as well and a child friendly environment, it was quite loud though so a smaller group is best so you can hear each other. Our new favorite Vietnamese!
Riley Morrell
Went there on a Saturday night and service was fairly average but the food came out very fast and was very filling! Can see why this place has great reviews, a must for vic park foodies
Annee Kim
Rude and disrespectful staff members - they tried to charge us with anything they can possibly can... I ordered my favourite - pho, however it wasn't rich in flavour and therefore it was quite tasteless.. I asked for siracha (hot) sauce and the waitor who brought me the sauce literally tossed it on the table and left with his back always turned against us... we did not want to finish our food because it was 1. Tasteless 2. We lost our appetite due to poor customer service 3. We wanted to get out of the restaurant asap.<br/><br/>I was really disappointed with the outcome to this review - I heard great reviews from this place and really did turn us down ... never are we coming back here again.
Felix Ting
Bad customer service, grumpy waiter. Beef rice vermicelli soup was ordered, vermicelli was overcooked and soggy, tasteless soup base, mint and bean sprouts served on side looks dying and non-appetising. Drinks ordered: Vietnamese coffee and ToTo special drink with durian, were good though. Won't be back in a hurry though.
Jerry
Absolutely horrendous experience. Went in yesterday during lunch hour and requested a table for 3. We were quickly seated to a table very near to the entrance door. The door was opened and the wind was blowing in through it right to the table. <br/><br/>We felt really uncomfortable and requested for a table at the back. We understood that it was peak hour but we saw a seat that was not taken. The waiter was so rude and told us there were no more table left. I pointed to the table that we wanted and I was told to my face that what we had was apparently "the best table". The food may be good but with this kind of service, we will not return to this place again.
Herman Wong
Bad experience and very disappointed!! Theey put full of sprouts instead of noodle in my noodle soup!! That was unbelievable.! The portion just leave hungry after the meals. Not recommending people to go.
Maria
Mostly delicious food, my best advice is to stick to the Vietnamese dishes. This restaurant tends to serve Chinese dishes too, which it doesn't always succeed in. E.g. hot and sour soup here was not a good choice. <br/><br/>Good for the essential Vietnamese dish- Pho. Very large portions and good value for money. Bad news is they do not serve tap water, so you're forced to buy bottled water. <br/><br/>Service is decent.<br/><br/>All in all, not bad.
Cheryl Tiong
Busy and crowded so you would think the food was good.... <br/>Brisk, abrupt service, manager tells us to go to ATM because their eftpos is "down" before he even takes our order. Differing times of food coming out, with one friend waiting 15mins later than all of us. <br/>Brings out my wrong order, waiter takes it back, then manager comes out covering the bowl with his hand and telling me not to look at it and it's Definately what I ordered even though, I do not eat tripe. Then takes the bowl back and obviously had just scraped off the tripe on top as I found bits in my lukewarm noodle soup later on. <br/>Second time here, both times were pretty average both food and service wise. Will not be back.
Williespants
Still my place of choice for decent Vietnamese lunch. Well marinated pork elements in the broken rice dish and the chicken was crispy skinned for the noodles. Service is always fast and a good variety of drinks.
Bahweep Granahweep Ninnybong
always busy, for good reason. foood!<br/>lots to choose from the pictured menu.<br/>have not been dissapointed at this place yet...<br/><br/>funny story, one time, wanted to order some extra chendol drinks. i think they are like no.14 on the drinks menu. got a friend to order x2...but the idiot didnt specify to the waiter and we ended up with 2x no.14 from the main menu (which happened to be extra pho) <br/><br/>anways. no complaints. great vibe. book a table or sit at one of the shared random tables if you dont mind others company.

I made a reservation thirsday morning and when we arived on friday night i told them i had reserved a table but wasnt asked for a name. We were sat in the middle of the room and given menus. We were wedged inbetween two other tables with litterally 30cm between us so you couldnt have a private conversation if you wanted to as well as had to practically be involved with the table next to you' conversation. We were clearly still looking at the over itemised menus when a waiter comes up and says "ok ready to order!" When i said oh no thankyou we are still looking the man raised both of his hands and rolled his eyes and stormed off. The food was sub par to say the least and had a hair in one of yhe doshes. Then we were rushed out of the place. NO customer service and crap food. Prices are decent. Decor is nice Will NOT be returning
Food Hunter
visit twice a week, my favourite is their soft bone! super yummy! anyway, must their their Vietnamese iced coffee as well. overall, reasonable price!!! 10 out of 10
Cassie
My favourite restaurant to have the Vietnemese rice noodle salad. I often can't decide between the grilled pork or spring roll so I love that the menu allows you to order the rice noodle salad with both. They also garnish it generously with peanuts, fried onion and mint. Their drinks menu is extensive with a wide variety of Vietnamese drinks and I like the chendol. Downside of ToTo is that it can get quite busy especially on weekends and at times there are no seats available.
Evline_v
I am amazed on how extensive the menu is! For such a large variety, the order comes out relatively fast. Food is always delicious! We were a bit rushed to order. I feel that we need to be given more time to look at the menu. Great price. Neighbourhood gem.
BlueBoat
Always serves a good portion with reasonable prices. The venue is always full house but the service was flat out. Never disappointed when we have the meal here.
Izzy Alyce
Really love this place delicious food and great prices. Not the best service however the food is worth it, when asking for tap water once I was told they only had bottled water which was ridiculous as I've had tap water there before and I'm pretty sure they're meant to serve it.
Foodenz
One of the best vietnamese restaurant in town. They serve the authentic and fusion vietnamese food that will make you tongue dance like crazy..love this place!!
Micromanic
Really enjoy the food there and it's always hard to dine without adding a serve of pork ribs to chew on. Recently just discovered their coconut milkshake which is very tasty.
Yummo
I ordered all my favorite dishes. Stuffed crab claws, pepper and chili deep fried squid and stuffed chicken wings. Omg. The worst meal I've ever had the displeasure to taste. The squid was so fatty that no flavor of squid, onion or chili could be detected. 2 bites and could not eat it. Stuffed crab claws highly processed out of the freezer, rubbery and chewy. The stuffed chicken wings had so much vermicelli noodles that they were also flavorless!! I complained (as this was the worst meal I've ever eaten and I have never sent back dishes before) and the manager argued with me, was rude and then demanded that we pay full price - $45 for our UNEATEN meal. He was rude and horrible. My mother and I were deeply disappointed, dissatisfied and will never go back again. Don't bother!!! Crap food, crap services and fatty flavorless food!!
Fillsuprobots
The food is excellent for the price you pay. While the food feels more Chinese than Vietnamese there are a plethora of choices which are sure to please. This is our go to for a cheap and easy in Vic park.
Bananapancake
Unsatified customer. U didnt cover the lid properly for my takeaways and it leaked everywhere when i reached home and took it out from the bag. u even gave me basil leaves that had some dead leaves on it. if u are going to prepare the food with little effort then i will just stay away from ur restaurant. not worthy of my time and money. i threw most of the food away cause the taste was just meh to me :\
Kxk
Ordered pho tai bo vien. The beef balls were still cold in the middle, the rare beef didn't taste good and the soup lacked a hearty beef taste and flavour depth. Overall the meat tasted frozen and not fresh at all and the soup is very below average. The owners/workers don't seem to be Vietnamese so that may explain why the pho was lacking in flavour and authenticity.

The green shirted staff. Basically, the only two staff in a green shirt favour the white and rich looking. The older green shirted guy was especially arrogant. As i ate my meal he joined in with the table next to mine in mocking an elderly lady peering into the restaurant. He's pretty much the main b*tch and the staff in brown are his servant slaves.
Riley Morrell
Went there on a busy Saturday night, service was slightly lacking but food was very fast and very tasty and very filling! Can see why this place has great reviews
Triona Mc Cann
Awful!. So disappointed with the chicken in the hainanese chicken rice...very fatty and hardly any edible meat...unfortunately it was a big waste of money take away. My husband I threw it in the bin...I hate to throw away food but it was really awful!
Foody
Love this place. Great quick service, awesome Asian food and good atmosphere. You can tell these guys know what they are doing.
T-Roc
Worst place ever!! Soggy noodles and the beef tasted old and gross! Waited over 15 mins, outside and wasn't worth it. Overrated

A great feed. I love to to vietmaneese its a great place to eat the staff are very friendly good service and awesome food I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone A++++++

I had high expectations from the moment I walked into the To To Vietnamese restaurant. The ambiance of this restaurant was of quality with modern and comfortable seating. I ordered three Beef Satay Sticks, five fried Vegetable Spring Rolls, a Green Chicken Curry and a Grass Jelly Drink. <br/><br/>After a lengthy wait the beef satay sticks finally landed at my table. They were hidden under the sauce. When I removed them from underneath the sauce I noticed that they were tiny, only three small pieces of beef on each stick. These three beef satay sticks would not even be the equivalent of two satay sticks from any other typical Perth restaurant. <br/><br/>Then out came the sprig rolls, they were also on the small side, the size of mini spring rolls you can buy in packets from the frozen section in your local supermarket. I had a deep suspicion that's all they were. <br/><br/>Lastly out came the green chicken curry, four 2cm2 pieces of tasteless chicken in a bowl of hot water with a little curry powder. At a cost of over $20 this is portion was shameful. <br/><br/>The total cost for my little snacked sized meal was $46 and it did not even touch the sides of my stomach. I was forced to go to McDonald's on the way home suppress the hunger. <br/><br/>Looking at the menu, their prices seem quite fair, that is until you experience the portions and quality of their dishes. How businesses like this one survive amazes me, and how well this business rates on different review sites is equally amazing. <br/><br/>To To Restaurant won't catch me again!!! <br/><br/> <br/>lity with modern and comfortable seating. Always Great. This is one of my favourite restaurants. The always have a table available for us, the service is fast and the wait staff have great recomendations. The food comes out quick and is ALWAYS fantastic! Cheap as well considering the portion sizes. <br/>The only think I dislike... They are closed on a Monday.

Food come very late and bad Costomer services. My boyfriend and I go to restaurtant to have a dinner cause we are after a good restaurant .<br/>First we see the menu and order food .<br/>The waiter come to take order .<br/>He is really bad services and rude .<br/>We have order rice noodles and Chinese tea...<br/>Then after 20mins the tea is not coming ...we try to ask and notice the waiter again.<br/>He said :I am sorry ...I know ! Your tea is still making because the temperture system is broken then it takes more time to wait for hot water .<br/>We have no idea why he told ask this because I think he should let us know it before we order . If we know it before we can order the ice drink !! Poor services and don't take care for the Costomer !!:((
The Pescatarian
Overrated. Nice venue, terrible music, standard fare. Still looking for a good Asian restaurant in Vic Park...
Pandorabiol
Overrated. I am a big fan of rice noodle, and I had that twice in to to. However, both were over cooked. If I were an old lady with no teeth left, I would still have been able to eat them because that's how soft the noodles were like. Waiter was not that friendly for some reason maybe he was having a bad day that day. Anyway, I won't go again.
Tigerific2926
Accommodating and TASTY!!!. My friend and I had had a busy day in the CBD and we were returning to Mandurah - both VERY hungry. It was getting late and places were closing.<br/>To To invited us in and offered us a variety of foods.<br/>Two other couples also took advantage of the offer.<br/>Friendly service, great food and very much appreciated!!
Koala Koala
Not Vietnamese. Dude this is Chinese food, but being a noodle addict i can't help coming back here.<br/><br/>Other restaurants should learn from this and offer a more decent noodle menu.
Jacob.corbould
Vietnamese for real vietnamese!. Went here a couple of weeks ago with my girlfriends family. Was very impressed with the quality and variety of dishes! Have been to many vietnamese restaurants in perth and this one is definitely the best, whole barramundi and shaking beef (pepper sauce) where standout dishes.
Jackiestoneage
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Once we finished our dinner. We were forced to leave.<br/>Cleaning table clean for 10 minutes. (Getting each finished dish one by one, no idea why) at that time there were not many people. <br/><br/>They even put a bill on our table. we have been there for more than 20 times never seen this before.<br/><br/>Very disappointed for this action.<br/><br/>We will not go this restaurant ANYMORE<br/><br/>Food was not good as before.
Poiter
Mediocre Vietnamese food, lacking quality. The Vietnamese food here is passable, but there is a pretty significant lack of authenticity & quality. I feel that the dishes are expensive for the content. Servings have minimal portions of quality, substituted with cheaper fill. The prices here are probably 20% more expensive than comparable Vietnamese restaurants and the content is probably 20% less! <br/><br/>On a positive note, I have found that the service is friendly and prompt.<br/><br/>I'd eat here if I had a craving for Vietnamese food and couldn't be bothered taking a drive elsewhere.Otherwise, try one of the Vietnamese restaurants in Northbridge or for an authentic and a cheaper meal, the Vietnamese restaurants in Girrawheen.
Jiniya
Bad customer service. I was there today for lunch and this Chinese looking guy wearing specs was very rude to us. I was asking if we could change to another table with couch( mind you we were still standing not seated yet ) the Chinese waiter was giving a face to us. <br/>Seriously we don own u as we are customers . <br/><br/>Please train you staff properly if not a lot of ur customers are not coming back .
Tastebudz
We went there a few days ago and ordered Pho we complained the soup was sourish and next table also heard us and he said he felt the same. We have been there a few times and could tell something wasn't right. We told the waitress and she took it back to kitchen and supposedly changed or recooked but unfortunately it tasted the same. The waitress admitted the cook accidentally put too much lemon. My point is you shouldn't have served and let the customer find out. Also the female toilet wasn't cleaned. <br/>I'm sorry you have lost my family as customers.
Mrod
The friendly staff at To To, managed to fit us in on a busy Saturday night without a booking + a pram! All our dishes were delicious - Satay Chicken skewers were crispy with rich satay sauce, spring rolls were yummy and perfect entrée size....very tasty mains - we will definitely be back! Great price for delicious food and fast efficient service!
Jorde93
Good food, fast service.. My boyfriend took me here for our first date nearly two years ago and it's definitely one of our go-to places now, both with friends or just the two of us. The atmosphere is definitely great with friends as well. The combination entree is amazing, the prawn toast is amazing and the chicken/prawn salad that is served with the entree as well. I always order the lemongrass and chilli beef, and it always tastes great. The only downside to To To is the fact it is extremely squishy, and it feels as if they try to rush you in order to serve as many people in one night as they can. But otherwise, it'll always be an awesome place to go to eat in Perth.
Alison Diamond
Terrible. Used to be our favourite place. However when you order take away and get it home and it's wrong it is frustrating. Even worse when you ring to let them know it was wrong and they offer you another soup that night and when you pick it up they charge you for it and say 'we hope you understand.' That is not customer service and we will not be back.
Danaé St George
Never disappointing. Always fast service, no wait!<br/><br/>I come here just for the San Choy Bow, it is superb!<br/><br/>I have been coming here for years and never once been disappointed with the quality of food and service. 5 Stars!
B_klyce
Really??. Ok good food but seriously I have to pay for water?!! Wtf
Sparkywatts
Friendly and fast service. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. Good value and we will be back
Cassandra Tung
Ridiculously awful service. Definitely the worst dining experience ever. my boyfriend and I were being rushed and urged from ordering till the end by the rude waitress. Lights were being turned off at the middle of our meal all of a sudden due to closing without any notice. Come on, this is not a candle light dinner! We had to eat in dark and put up with the smell of bleach coming out from the kitchen. Couldn't even finish 1/3 of our meals and we both left half hungry. Their closing time was 10pm but we ended up leaving before 9:50pm. We are paying for food and service. We are paying to stay till 10pm! Food was ok, but they don't serve tap water though. service was absolutely awful, no joke! Won't come back I swear to god!
Food 2 Run
Delux, came in at 540 on a Thursday night and busy already... Great food the seafood noodle combo was amazing... High rating and I see why

BBQ Pork with Dried Noodles. Favorite dish. best asian restaurant in vic park
Peter Malajczuk
Great food, and the staff were very understanding when we changed our booking from 6 to 8 to 10 people.

LOVE THIS PLACE. My Partner and I come here at least once a fortnight, while the staff seem to get you in and out quickly the food comes out just as quick. as far as the food goes i seem to order the same thing most of the time i have been there, Raw Beef Pho, this sh*t is the bomb food and perfectly delish every time i eat it... love love love. this place is a fav for a long time to come i'm sure of it.
Debora Ribeiro
Terrible service, very rude actually... Didn't like at all, won't come back.
Sweegy
So bad that they don't serve tap water.<br/>This must be illegal surely!!!!
Jing
Terrible service!! One of their staffs wrote down my name and keep me and my wife waiting outside for 45mins. Lot of groups came after us were called in before us!! Oh, sorry forgot to mention,<br/>most of them are Vietnamese
Food Junkie
Food here is really tasty. The honey prawns and Tom yum soup are my favourites!! The food comes out really quick. Great prices too. The beverage menu is amazing....so many choices!!!
Jessica Farquhar
No need to travel to Northbridge. Pretty happy we tried out this place today! Very tasty food. Fast service, decent portions and most importantly, fresh, tasty food. We especially enjoyed the rice and egg noodles.<br/><br/>It was pretty packed during lunch, which is usually a good sign :) The lighting is unusually dark in the restaraunt... not sure if it's normally like this but we didn't mind. The menu is quite extensive and it looks like there's a lot of options for individual dishes, plus heaps of dishes that you can share with family and friends. <br/><br/>The prices are reasonable. Most individual dishes fall between $10 - 14. Share dishes are a little more expensive. Drinks are $5-6 depending on what you get and there's lot of options for that too.<br/><br/>Overall it was pretty similar to Vietnamese food you'd encounter in Northbridge, but for us it is in a more convenient location so we'll definitely be visiting again.
Danielnny
Friendly staff Best pho in .... Friendly staff<br/>Best pho in vic park
Foodiefrog
Cheap, cheerful. Lots of options on the menu.
CJMortimer
Very fresh and very tasty!! Bit hectic and busy but still good service!
Jon Heath
Excellent tasty food, excellent speedy service. Not sure about some of the negative reviews as the dishes we had were fantastic and tasty and the service was spot on. I only had to look around to get service and then the food came out so incredibly fast there wasn't anything I could fault!<br/>Also, had the fried icecream for desert and it was great
Jamie Anderson
Awesome food and not sure about all the comments on the service being average. they were really good when my wife and I were their. going back for sure, the coconut milkshake was epic
Willow.92
Nice food, service is average though.. I've been here a number of times because I love the food, but the service is definitely average. The restaurant is small and very very busy so they like to get people in and out fast! I do not mean this in a discriminative way, but if you are Caucasian they're attitude towards you can be a bit sub-par.. and they will tend to try to kick you out of the store when finished eating to bring in more business and leave the other customers be. One time they gave our entree dish to the table next to us, came back ten minutes later when they realised it was actually our dish, and then gave us the dish from the other customer's table.. Yikes. BUT asides from that the food is normally great. They have a wide variety of different drinks, I love the iced tea but don't try the durian (yuck haha). The prawn and bacon toast entree is great. I usually get the noodles with seafood, they have burnt the noodles before which sucked but other times have been great.
Karen_king057
Worst meal i have had in a while - 3 of us and no one wants to go back. Reading the reviews we thought we were in for a very nice meal but all 3 of us thought it was very ordinary. I certainly would not bother going back.
Simon Moore
Awesome fresh food. Some of the best fresh food around - we eat out regularly & it's hard to find better for the price - chilli pepper squid is the best as is the other food - it's very busy but worth the effort if you appreciate good food & fast service - cannot recommend it highly enough - generally there about 12 times a year sometimes twice a month when we want to guarantee awesome food.
PerthGirl
Mediocre food and bad service. My partner and I had been meaning to go to To To for a while before we finally made it this week. I was really disappointed. The food was quite pricey and very average. The service was non-existent. I am always happy to ignore bad service IF the food is amazing. But in this case it was mediocre all round. Do yourself a favour and try one of the many other places on this strip. We won't be back.
Mj
RUDEST MANAGER EVER APPALLING. We had just started eating our meal and he demanded payment. Not sure if it was my partners Ned Kelly shirt but seriously ???? Yes agreed with other review on here definitely racist served 4 tables before us !!!! we like to enjoy our lunch not be pushed out door. Has made it big obviously serious attitude adjustment required and politeness !!!!
Jelly Audio
Used To Be Good. ToTo used to be good when it was first opened.<br/>It was a welcoming change to have a Vietnamese restaurant along a cafe strip heavily dominated by Italian and Chinese food, and lately, now Thai and Indian food.<br/><br/>These days, water costs you money, portion size has shrank and price has gone up, most noticeably the drinks!
Helen
A restaurant which won't serve water - unless u pay for it - does not deserve my business and will not be getting it again. Food didn't do anything to change my mind
Buffalo
Bad,rude n unfriendly service. ... would not come back anymore.
Maureen Tan
Major let down in spite of it being featured in the Qantas magazine and won in Feast competition: Over-rated food and atmosphere, Over-priced+++<br/>Regreted choosing this place to bring a family from overseas to dine and catch up because the food was average and overly priced and we almost could not hear each other talking...had to shout over the din.<br/>I have tasted better food in other Vietnamese restaurants around Northbridge. Not going back there again to be rip off my purse.
Icermon1k
Terrible Customer Service. The manager is very unfriendly and rude. My friend had just finished her meal but still having our drinks, barely an hour since we got there. But the manager came to us asking if we wanted to order anything else and when we said no thank you, he drops a reserved sign on the table and said that he has a group coming shortly and he needs the table. My friend was embarrassed as the other customers were looking and left without finishing the drink.<br/><br/>Extremely unprofessional and I sense racially biased service against non-white customers. It's a shame as their food is pretty decent, but I will not recommend a restaurant that practices impartiality and is rude to their customers.
Trust Me
Let down. Over priced for Vic Park area. The chilli dishes weren't hot as the chilli itself wasn't hot. I found this place to be over-rated.
Erin Henderson
Decided to try out as it is always busy and has good reviews. Will not be coming back! We ordered take away which was $90 for 4 dishes. Got home and realised they hadnt given us what we ordered and tasted like cheap Chinese food. Not impressed at all
Jonnie Bee
Great Lunch Spot. Recently moving office to East Vic Park (away from Northbridge) it was hard to be swayed away from the great quality staples of Northbridge (Lido etc). However, I was pleasantly surprised by the food here and it has become a firm favourite for the entire office! The Crispy chicken with soup is great! The broth in particular is soooo tasty. Salt n Chilli Squid is fresh and flavoursome. Everyone raves about their meals always a good sign. Quick and affordable
Lozza54
WOW. do not walk past this place! Absolutely delicious and the 7 other people with me thought the same. Yummy yummy yummy. Fresh tasty food, the best in vic park. Get the pnomn penh (excuse spelling) combination soup. So damn good!
Ericd3nholm
Slirp Slirp Slirp Slirp. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm take your reading glasses. The menu is longer than the old testament. But you will be spoiled for choice. It's all good. and so cheap. lemon chicken a personal fav. all the soups are fantastic value. Service is quick, blunt, not exactly warm and fuzzy - but certainly efficient. all and all, another classic Vic Park cultural experience. Love it.
Cassandra
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, great service but don't be late or you lose your table (fair call)
Anita Lethlean
Not so Yummy Soup. Have been going to ToTo's on and off for many years, but I noticed when I went the other day that the usual soup that I order was not nice any more. Having just come back from Canada where the Wonton soup was delicious I was very disappointed.
Thurls 77
Loved the busy, cosy ambience. Gorgeous decor, friendly and fast service. But the standout was the food, even for three fussy small children there was something on the menu for everyone. Definitely on my list of favourites
Briana Natasha
For a restaurant with such nice decor and vibe, I was appalled by the service. My friend and I didn't have a reservation but were told we were welcome to a table. Then without warning, when were still finishing our drinks, a waiter came and put a reserved sign on our table saying there was a reservation, people were waiting as its a busy restaurant. I understand that places are busy, but we were very shocked by the way we were basically kicked out, in a very rude and abrupt manner. It's a shame, as the food was delicious, but I will not be back or suggest this place based on service.
Foodme
Meh. Loud, overcrowded, and the food is underwhelming. Even the parents were unimpressed - and they're not fussy. The noodles used for their pho is good quality, however they could really pick up their game when it comes to their beef stock.

Great food as ever last night, but maybe best to stick to takeaway. Pushy impatient service last night. Keen to get us out. My friend was paying the bill - before we'd finished - when she asked for some tap water the waiter replied he wasn't legally required to provide it. What an arse!

Worth a try. Visited To To for the first time on a Wednesday night. My friend and I finished class at 8:30pm so we were a little concerned about the time, but To To's was accommodating. Last orders were taken at 9:15pm.<br/><br/>The menu was one of the most extensive I've ever seen, featuring over a hundred items. Though there were some dishes which featured influences from nearby South-East Asian cuisines, the majority was authentic Vietnamese. Nothing too conceited. We decided on the prawn toast entrée to share, and a Pho dish each. Most dishes ranged from $10-$15 which was very fair for the large portion sizes. And they were delicious!<br/><br/>The restaurant is decorated quite nicely and would be ambient if it weren't bustling. The service was also quick and efficient even though they were busy. I'd return when in the area for a quick and casual dinner.

My New Favourite Go-To To!. I really enjoy this restaurant for several reasons. <br/><br/>The ambiance is comfortable, intimate and cosy (very unusual for an Oriental restaurant which usually has fluorescent lighting). The tables are well spaced, so you are never really aware of other diners' conversations and presence. <br/><br/>The staff are very pleasant, unobtrusive, courteous and professional. The prices are inexpensive, realistic and the menu is extensive and well designed in correct English. The food is delicious, unpretentious, traditional, tasty and fresh. <br/><br/>I cannot ask more of any good restaurant and it is now my new favourite go-to at East Victoria Park. I'm so pleased I found it and wish I'd discovered it years ago!

My cousin and I were welcomed to a table at 9.20pm. As we sat down we were advised the kitchen was closing at 9.30pm so we ordered quickly. We asked for our entree to come out first. Entree and main were presented together (with an excuse that the kitchen was rushing to close) from then on staff were hanging around our table waiting to collect plates the moment the last morsel of food left their surface. We were presented with the bill half way through the meal (with the excuse the till was closing...) and then asked twice if we would pay now as we were eating. All in an unpleasant experience. I am writing this as I am about to leave the restaurant at 10.10pm. Food was good and served quickly...but they couldn't wait to get us out the door.

Good pho, simple and tasty. We will be back. Fast efficient service too. Recommend.

Totally Rude and Hopeless. My friends and I went to this restaurant, my friend had a one month old baby. The rude lady sat us down at the far end table. After a few minutes, she came to tell us she needed that table for 9 ppl who are coming. I said no to her as it was hard to move the baby around and she was sound asleep. She insisted we needed to change without showing empathy and feeling sorry. She started moving chairs and gave signs to move. I was truly disappointed and if it is not because i thought of my friends I would have left that restaurant. Everyone should be treated as important customers although there were only 5 of us instead of 9. Later on, I ordered an avocado milkshake and tasted like durian, we complaint to the waiter but he argued with us that how it should taste like. It was really horrible, the staffs there were rude and not attentive. Although it is a very busy restaurant, but their customer service standard is worst. I dont think they have the right attitude to bring them further. Its horrible, You will be disappointed if you go to this restaurant as you are paying so much to be deserved with this kind of service and its definitely not a kids friendly restaurant. Their food is delicious because they have put a lot of MSG in their food. Not even healthy.

Yummy yummy licking fingers. Gold! First time been there, the Viet rice roll, the plum duck and the Simmered Prawn and the Beef Ball Pho . Tasty fresh, affordable and super quick, may be a bit too quick tot! Well they perhaps don't want to keep the hungry customers waiting! highly recommend for a quick feed but not something so fancy or fine dining services !
Crabcancer
Repeated visitor. From where we are located, this is one of the better place to eat pho with adequate parking and minimal fuss. It has never disappointed me so far.<br/><br/>My one grouse? We need brighter lights! I mean, this is pho, not so romantic establishment to go in, hold hands, sigh over the candle and exchange promises of love everlasting.<br/><br/>Maybe the next time, I should bring in a miner's hat and see if they get the hint?
Minger
Down right rude!. This is one restaurant we will not be returning to. After hauling two children into this so called kid friendly restaurant 10minutes after our 6pm booking we were rudely told off by the lady waitress that we were late (even though half the restaurant was still empty) then shoved on a table squashed up against so many other we had to traverse almost half the restaurant to get to the restroom. Then got fed suboptimal food at a frenzied pace by staff who just wanted to get people out to squeeze more in. The same head lady asked staff to try taking away our dishes even before we finished...what a shocker! My only regret was staying and eating the food and having to pay for it.<br/>Would not recommend this restaurant to anybody!

Pho Bo vien. A serious let down after reading the good write up from the west outside. Beef balls had to be put aside. Sweet side sauce not sure why, and the stock, man the search continues for good pho Bo. Have had super rice dishes there before tho and would definately head back for them and great service.
Freya
Fantastic, flavoursome and fresh food. Pleasant, but innattentive staff. Would definitely recommend.
Kellie Collins
Amazing food. I have never been here before some friends took us and the food was amazing, quick service the only down side was that the tables are so close together that you feel like you sitting on the person at the next table but it as bare able because the food was so delicious and good prices defiantly going there again
Man V Food
7/10. Good food with a great selection (partner had combination pho, "it's the best I've had since visiting Vietnam") Fast service and nice presentation. If you don't like loud bad cover music and close seating arrangements this place has both, But for the food it's bearable.
Jacqui
A favourite. This restaurant is great and we cant help going back time and time again. Number one recommendation is the avocado milkshake. You have to try it!
Monorica
No tap water. Food is ok but no tap water or any kind of water being served. I think that is very annoying because they put so much MSG in their food to make sure you feel thirsty. Even though we already order a drink still insisted no tap water.
In My Belly
Come here for pho. 10/10. The other dishes are pretty ok. Nothing special compared to other viet restaurants. BUT their pho is something special. huge portions and every mouthful is just so flavorsome. The first time i had a coconut milkshake and that was something so so special. Never tasted a yummier milkshake (it is very sweet).
Charissa Man
Good restaurant. Good food, fast service, very busy restaurant, very popular.

Best pho in perth!. My family always go to TOTO when we crave for Vietnamese food! Our fav dish is the beef pho! The Vietnamese coffee is also really good.
Jojostar
Food was quick but the broken rice is just saddd! Only one small little piece of meat . Place is a bit crowded too. Can barely find a space to walk.
Foodle
Didn't really like the food. Not great service. Hate being charged public holiday surcharge on days where I know staff aren't being paid higher rates. Good iced coffee though. Super quick in terms of getting food out.
Critique
Large portions, delicious authentic tasting food, and good prices. I don't know why people are complaining about service either, it was fine... Maybe the staff are just too busy to chat cos they don't want to keep customers waiting!
Jason Barest
Stated only ate fish meal contained 70% pork went to tell red haired manager he began to shout at me as if I have caused him a problem . Never ever again friend also has same crab that turnt out to be pork .
Gretchen
We love the food. The service is fine. We did not wait long for our food. Our booked tables were ready when we got there. The tofu, duck in plum sauce and the prawns were superb. The drinks were serve in very large glass. Will definitely come back!
Macfish Notes
Love this Vic Park eatery. Always good for a tasty, quick meal and friendly service. Big menu with too many yummy choices. Can't go past the Young Coconut drinks and Vietnamese coffee!
ItsMissBell2u
Amazing food, just dont have high service expectations. Fast paced place, bookings mean nothing, the food is awesome, but dont expect gold star service, a smile, or tap water for that matter. The food is good enough to stand the service.
Charmaine
Absolutely love it... always craving it... delicious
Sarah McCarthy
One of our favourite locals. Never disappoints!
Tamaiya
Lunchtime specials. Have been here twice for lunch and the service has been average. Prices are around $10-16 for a dish with good sized portions. Food is at least hot.<br/>Does get very busy and you can wait a while before you catch a waiter's eye.<br/>Booths are comfortable and private for dinning. We were in and out in under an hour.
Ken
NEVER AGAIN!. Came here on a whim and wish I hadn't. Having returned from Vietnam a couple of weeks ago I can assure you with confidence that this place doesn’t do justice to Vietnamese cuisine. The dishes were either too sweet or too salty and did not strike the balance that is inherent with authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Go to Tra Vinh and don’t look back!!!
Marcus
Quite surprise for me as i never trued vietnamese food. food is great. Went there with my friend the chicken dis was mouth watering . I recommend this place
Bosley
Great experience. The menu is large and varied providing plenty of choice and combinations for most tastes. We've eaten there a number of times and the quality was always exceptional and very flavoursome. NB Always busy so go early or book ahead.
Janelle Bett
Quick Friday night Pho. Good cheap(ish) fare in Vic Park. The Pho was ok, not amazing but also not bad, had to ask for fresh chilli as none was in the dish which i found quite strange. The Tom Yum noodle soup was a bit rich and sweet, not sure what happened there. We certainly had food envy for a lot of the dishes that were floating around the restaurant. Service was good! Unsure what has happenned with many of the other reviews.. yes they are busy but they are friendly and also efficient. An good option for a cant be bothered to cook night .
Mino Berry
You don't go here for fine dining service or food but if you need a quick fix for the price the value is excellent. At 5pm today half the tables were taken, so book ahead...
Wisatakuliner
Average Pho. As the title says, the Pho is average and the cafe sua da (Vietnamese coffee with ice and condensed milk) was too weak. Pretty average by Perth standard (especially those of us who have traveled to Vietnam).
Nomnomnom
So good!. Have been here three times now and can't think of a single fault. The service isn't fine-dining level or anything, but the food comes out promptly and is absolutely delicious!
Caroline
Service awful; food marginally better. Thought we'd try somewhere new for lunch today - really wish we hadn't. I have never been made to feel less welcome in a and never eaten at an Asian restaurant and felt as an Australian I could have cooked the dishes better myself. <br/><br/>The service - napkins not provided; "waiter" walked away from table without taking all the order and never returned; extensive efforts to get any of the staff to assist failed for some time (likewise on 2 other occasions); we were refused tap water as they had sought legal advice on this - not sure whether this is true or not, but it clearly reinforces their attitude is to make money rather than provide good service or food. They also tried to charge is $29 more than they should have and when I asked them to check this they advised me it was correct and insisted upon this until I added it up for them!!!<br/><br/>I declined to advise them that they had forgotten to charge us for the water in the circumstances and won't be going back there EVER!!
Sweet And Sour
Went to To to on a Wednesday night for a quick feed as this place used to be a favourite of mine. Got there at 9.25pm and all the lights outside were turned off and the closed sign was in the door even though it said closed at 10pm on the window. I thought I would try luck anyway and they said that we could eat BUT the restaurant closed at 10 so we had to be quick. They then proceeded to drag all the green sulo bins filled with rubbish through the restaurant, which really put me off. Save that for when the doors are closed and you have no patrons in the restaurant To To. I will never return.
Pauline
Best Vietnamese. Since the day they opened their doors nothing has changed, the food is still great, the service is still outstanding and the Matre'd never foregts a face, always has time to say hello!
Gmh1985
Best duck ever. We go there quite often as Vic Park locals, last friday we shared a few dishes and had lemon duck, kai-lan, sambal prawns, rice paper rolls, fried rice & chilli squid with lemon grass - all meals were cooked to absolute perfection - flavours were beautiful, meals came out fast, food is reasonably priced too. Only complaint is that they won't serve tap water & charge you for bottled water.
Linhx Vu
Came there twice. Their foods suck for real
Rudy Cooper
Nasty experience. Super greasy food, crowded.<br/><br/>Food tasted bad espically the satay, been deep fried and drowned in peanut sauce. Yuk
Tezza
Value. I took advice and booked our table and when we got there there were dishes left behind but they quickly took away and wiped the table down. Very busy Saturday night and staff were running in all directions. Thye waiter who took order was very nice and laughed with us as we have done our order by the numbers. Entre came quickly and probably because it was the Vietnamese spring rolls (yes they did taste fresh) and then the mains came out. Big servings and def worthwile value and we had leftovers the next day which again were equally as tasty. Remember you may find it different to what I experienced but sit, chill and enjoy the ambience of the place. Will definitely go back and the Chilly squid is really nice as in really really nice<br/>cheers
Dave
Great food but the mgr is quite rude
Joe
Very good. Asian people always make the best food.

Unacceptably BAD. I've never been kicked out of a restaurant before until last night. Unacceptable way to treat paying customers. We booked ahead a table for 5. Arrived and we were taken to a small square table for 4 even though there were many spare tables. I queried & the staff said she'd add another chair at the end of the table. Too squashed, we asked to move to a booth seater, they let us. Entrees, main meals & drinks came in no time. Food was below average for the price, and small portions. They rushed to clear the table. We continued chatting & looking at some photos from iPad, before we ordered dessert. They thought we were just wasting their space, not ordering anything else. One staff came with a 'reserved' sign, put it on our table & said "another group has booking for this table in 10 minutes!". There were other vacant tables. They never asked if we wanted dessert or tea/coffee. No sorry's, no thank-you's. Bluntly kicked us out! I can assure you, I'll make sure everyone I know remembers the name To To as a 'do-NOT-visit' restaurant.
Sludge
Good food but bizzarre service approach. The food at To to's is not cheap enough to match the service approach. We enjoyed our dishes (which arrived in world record time), but didn't enjoy not being able to sit for more than a minute without a waiter trying to clear our (unfinished) dishes. At 9pm, the restaurant had finally died down with plenty of spare tables, but the manager still decided to tell us that "our table was reserved for 9pm so thanks and goodbye". It was a pretty bizarre dining experience at Toto's. Go only if you want a quick meal before doing something else.

Best pho in town. Always ring for table reservation.<br/><br/>arrived.<br/><br/>sit down.<br/><br/>two iced vietnamese coffee.<br/><br/>menu No.1 for my wife and No.5 for myself (menus not needed here, thanks)<br/>request for more chilli sauce<br/><br/>eat.<br/><br/>*satisfied*<br/><br/>pay and back next week

Delicious. A busy Saturday evening but we managed to book a table for 2 which was tucked away, out of the rush of the main part of the cafe. The menu is large and takes a bit of reading, but with lots of pictures of the dishes it's not too difficult. We had the mixed entree plate to share which was great value and very tasty. For mains we shared Prawns in Tamarind Sauce (wonderful, sticky and not to sweet for the sauce with beautifully crisp, fresh prawns) and Beef with Chilli and Lemongrass (the beef was so thinly sliced and tender it just melted in your mouth and the lemongrass flavour was great). Instead of wine we opted for the Vietmnamese drinks - a proper lemon iced tea and a tasy coconut and green bean icy mix - yum. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we had a lovely evening. Will definitely be going back.

Average. Ambiance: Lively for sure, not a nice place for a date, but screaming competition-yes.<br/>Food: Top end average classic Vietnamese beef noodle.
Purplegunn
Too much on menu. The menu is too large and this is not truly Vietnamese food. It was very noisy and extremely cramped so ambience was zero. The food was average - I have been here twice and I won't be going back again after last experience.
LittleOwl
Very arrogant staff & the boss is worst. we go pretty early the other day the room looks empty but they said most tables reserved. so they said we hav to get out at about 7:30. at 7:15 they start asking us have we finished? mum still eating & she has to quickly finished off even she has problem eating with her shaky hands. and it's not even 7:30 yet! the boss is like urging me to pay. Very bad service and the food was average. It looks packed cz the place is tiny.
SunnySideUp
Average. The food was pretty average, very busy, we didn't have to wait too long for our food so that could be viewed as a positive is guess...
Sarahlee
Theres a reason why ppl line up to get a table. Yes its small, youre squashed, its noisey and ppl are costantly coming and going, but this adds to the excitement of the to to experience and if youre with great company you'll barely notice it. You go there for incredibly tastey, fresh, authentic vietnamese and its exactly what you get. Nice vibe, very original and ridiculously affordable. We go at least every 2 wks.

Great 1st experience! Loved my beef pho, hands down one of the best in Perth

Theres no place like home..theres no.... My partner & I went to ToTo's on Saturday night..we rocked up there without a reservation and at first it looked like a bad idea with it being full with patrons. We decided to try our chances and ask and we were squeezed in to our delight. Talk about a huge menu & with pictures of the dishes?? So much to choose from and it takes a while to decide..so long in fact the waiter asked if we were hungry? Well "hold ya horses" there cowboy , the menu requires 15 minutes to ponder over cause it's as long as a bastard. Anyway , we ordered the seared prawns , wok fried chicken with cashews & combination noodle dish. All were sensational! Great big servings and a taste to the liking however , if thats solely a Vietnamese restaurant , then I'm an Eskimo. Atleast we walked out of there with a tummy so full it made the everyday street begger look at us and lick their lips. The cost was a reasonable robbing and the ambience was all over the shop!..too loud for a standard conversation. Saboo & Tinker will be back for another feed for sure...this time I'll ask it the waiter is hungry , take ear muffs & tuck into some bastardised Vietnamese..well worth it !
Luvie Duvie
One word .... Rude ignorant staff ... Oops 3 words
Ellabella
Guinness world record for fitting the most people in one small room!. Can anyone really relate to the saying "packed in like sardines"? To tos sure can.. I swear there was over 100 people in this tiny dining room our table was in the aisle and the people on the end of our table were backing onto tables behind them, not to mention the people queuing over us while we ate! When I first go there I wanted to walk straight back out it was so noisy youd think you were at the footy, don't let the mass crowds fool you that the food is worth it... Because its not, the Vietnamese at the lunch bar next to my work do a better feed!

Lovely restaurant and service. Yummy food with affordable price (good portion of food), I always order several dishes and share with friends and family. Their Lemon Chicken, Plum Duck, ShangChoiBao and Satay are awesome!<br/><br/>The staffs are kind and nice too. For those who think they ae pushy, I think they are quite considerate as they try to let the waiting customers to be seated and food to be served as soon as possible. Toto is not a deluxe expensive restaurant like some overpriced cafe and hotel - which some of them really just 'sell' their service anyway, so I am really satisfied with Toto and their service.<br/><br/>Overall, Toto is a great place for a quick and delicious Vietnamese & Asian meal. Highly recommended! :)
Tina Phan
Nice and yummy restaurant. I ve been to To To a few times already!! It's so good as usual, the service is great n friendly!! I don't get it when some people complain about the service! Why are they so fussy and so negative!! You get what you a pay for!! reasonable price and good service !!!! Those fussy negative customers complained, they should cook at home themselves to satisfy their needs! I highly recommend a good place to dine in!! Love To To

To To Go Go. My wife and I ate at ToTo on 25 May 2012. Meals came out within 10 minutes but unfortunately the rice followed 20 minutes later by which time the main dish was cold. The food was nice but the whole experience was let down by the floor manager and staff who spent the whole time rushing around and shifting tables to cram as many people into the small place as possible. The hectic and urgency of the staff became contagious and we felt the need to get out of the way. If you want the food I would recommend it but get it to go.
LIZ
A regular!. My partner and I go to To To quite regularly now. The food is well priced between $12 - $20 for our mains. We usually stick to soups, they are generous with their portions and always piping hot! we have tried the spring rolls and satay sticks but would not order them again. The service is quite fast and at times a little 'pushy' but we don't mind as the price is very good and the soups always delicious!
Arianty Sutanto
Best pho in town. The pho noodles are just awesome!! all of them im telling you! my husband likes the soft bone pork noodle soup, and the vietnamese rice paper rolls. Taste is not over the top, really really like this place. One thing was the broken rice was alrite, other place has better ones. But no one can beat the soup!! Oh and also the friendly red/oranged-hair manager/owner, he is very friendly and funny!
Delish
We tried the chilli and lemongrass squid and vermicelli noodles with spring rolls. Both dishes were light, tasty and fresh with loads of flavor. Our meals came out quick and the staff were helpful, what more can you ask for a mid week dinner out.
Miranda
Simply awful. Had never been to To To before and don't think I'd go there again. Menu looked good with some authentic dishes on it but the food was only just average when it came out and was pricey too. Staff where very rude and not helpful at all. Food came out late and order was wrong.<br/>The guy on the till was extremely rude, very unprofessional not sure wheather She or He from the way she/he talked.
Foodaddict
Disappointment. I have been to To To's twice as my sister likes a certain dish they do. Both times we went there (months apart) the dish was 'unavailable' but still featured on the menu. The service was appalling not only were the waiters rude they also ignored you when you were obviously trying to get your attention. The orders were wrong. The meals where either too sweet or bland. They refuse to provide tap water (which is illegal) and have the attitude that "To To's is always right". Will not be coming back again.
Benjamin J. Sloan
Disappointing. Tried To To for lunch on a Sunday; the place was very busy (and extremely loud inside). We had prawn rolls, beef combination pho noodle soup and bun thit nuong. The food was delivered about three minutes after ordering! Soup came with the smallest plate I have ever seen of mint, basil and sprouts - about a handful. Both dishes were on the small side, short on meat and not so tasty. My fresh orange juice ($5) looked and tasted like powdered drink. <br/><br/>Victoria Park has heaps of restaurants, but not many worth trying. This is another one to avoid. Far, far better Vietnamese is available in Northbridge at lower prices.
JJ
Overrated. I've been curious to try To To as it always looks so busy when I've walked passed. We went for lunch last week and despite the promising menu, we were really disappointed. I always order a fresh lemon juice and soda water drink whenever I have Vietnamese, but To To's version was made from lemon cordial and was too sweet for my taste. I ordered the shredded pork and springrolls with rice noodles, which was ok. The flavours were nice and they were generous with the hot, crunchy spring rolls (yum), but the rice noodles were undercooked and a bit hard. This meant that the noodles were all stuck together in a big clump which made the whole meal difficult to eat. Overall, it wasn't as good as I hoped. The restaurant was also untidy and dirty (toilets were filthy) which didn't help.
Perthfood
Very crowded but excellent food and one of the most extensive menus I've seen
DimSumDude
Excellent service, we showed up just as the kitchen was closing. Took our orders and were served promptly. Vibrant staff. Going back, large menu of items. Food was delicious.
Veggyone
Will not go back. Had just opened the door to go in and a female staff member shouted "no table". Very aggressive and arrogant staff! After being over charged the first time, we have resolved not to return.
Peter Mc
They will not provide tap water! Pho noodles over cooked.
Kacey
Soft pork bone noodle soup!. Their drinks are not fantastic, pretty pricy for a tiny cup (we had it take-away).<br/><br/>The only thing we like about To To is their soft pork bone noodle soup. It's sooo good and if I'm not wrong, they are one of the only few viet restaurants in Perth to have that. It's a must try. We love it.
Food Fan
Looked promising, but failed to promise. I went with my girl friends for a birthday lunch here (this was three years ago though), and being five Vietnamese girls, we wanted something different as we don't go to Vietnamese restaurants a lot. I guess being Vietnamese made our expectations of the restaurant fairly high. Service really wasn't that great (we found it weird how none of them were Vietnamese, thus questioning the authenticity of the food), and the food was very average. Orders were wrong, leaving us unimpressed. Since then, I haven't returned to the restaurant, and not planning to. This was why I rather not go to Vietnamese restaurants and prefer the home made goodness.
EPiDEMiC
Very disappointed. They stuffed up my order. Twice. On the same night. I mean they've stuffed up my order in the past but this is the last straw. Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, but their substandard service is not making it worth my while.
Tegan Tiu Taudigani
Order the duck with plum sauce. What I don't like about this place is how cramped it is and the service. I feel like the waiters can't really make time for anybody, but maybe it's because it's always packed. Last night I had my chopsticks in my boyfriends face because there was so little room at our table. Also I saw strangers being sat with strangers at large tables, but I guess the newcomers wouldn't been able to have been seated otherwise.<br/><br/>What I love about this place is the food. The bean curd with chilli and lemongrass complements any dish you order, and the duck in plum sauce is a beautiful marriage of crispy duck and sweet plum sauce. 10 out of 10, best duck I've ever had!<br/><br/>Given that I've been here 3 times in the past year. I definitely recommend making a booking.
MsN
Quick and Healthy. Had a mid-week lunch here. Service is prompt, friendly and helpful.<br/><br/>My noodle soup arrived quickly. It was fine, but a little bland. Or perhaps with the hustle and bustle of the lunch time crowd I had trouble focussing on subtle flavours.<br/><br/>If you want real food quick, then you could do worse than come here. A big bowl with more noodles than I could eat cost about $12.
Toots
Overrated Crapola. This outfit would be more suited to your average bear shopping centre in Suburbia. Service is poor, Menu needs to be re written in English, I ordered standard Beef Pho and got a bowl full of tripe and beef offal balls, the spring rolls were ok, but $21 later, was all a bit too much, not cheap at all, and the noodles are way overcooked, way too mushy. They are very very slow too, took 45 minutes to get me the wrong soup. Avoid, seems to be more a vehicle for the gay waiter to pick up a root.
Petros
Very impressed!. We ordered the chicken satay sticks for entree and it was the best satay we have ever eaten. We honestly did not want them to end! We also had Pho and Hofun which were both lovely.
LAndo
Just OK. Look, if you've never been overseas, are accustomed to westernised (read "bastardised") versions of Asian cuisine, then yes, you'll love this place. The decor is modern and clean and the food comes out fairly quickly. On the other side of the coin, the service is substandard but tolerable for Perth, and the food was definitely edible and tasty if westernised food is what your chasing. I continue my search for authentic vietnamese food (read: fresh, clean flavours).
TheBard
Best Noodle Soup in Town. To To is actually the best hands down. And the prices are still cheap. Maybe $12 for a big bowl of noodle soup. The seafood is fresh which is unusual at this price range. Service can be a bit average but i'll forgive them as they are usually very busy
Mrs Rose
Great Food, Very Average Service. Great selection, great food so far....If you dine alone the male waiter will to tell you to "Hurry up" If you dine with a small infant, which we did not, a fuss or a scene is made by the same lanky male waiter with a bad bowl haircut. I witnessed a poor couple that was harassed by this waiter. I have to say the food is very very good and the only downside was one rude male waiter. I will be back.
Willie McTell
Great food. Excellent tasty, food with exceptional sauces in the noodle, Mongolian beef and satay dishes. Great ambience for a Tuesday night. I like the buzz in this place. <br/>Food compares well to the good Northbridge Viet restaurants.<br/>Definitely returning, love the booth seats.
Dill Pickle
Is good but prefer the other Vietnamese 200m up the road
Greedycat
Been there twice and both times they were very busy. Fisrt time with husband, ordered the chili chicken with special salt and prawn with salad, both very nice especially the prawn salad with the crispy vegetable. Brought a few friends the 2nd time but quite disappointed. Ordered the fish sauce rib but can't taste the fish sauce at all. The portion was pretty small and use too much MSG. And their pho not as good as some other vietnamese restaurant we tried before. General speaking, they got a good atmosphere to attract customer in, but they got to improve the food.
Goof7
Had a booking beforehand, when me n my friends arrived there, the tables are not ready. Got told off by 'the manager' because we were standing near the door (waiting for our tables). Had to put the highchairs behind our seats (ridiculus). The foods are horrible, tasteless, overpriced. The service reallllllyyyyyyy BAD!!! Will never ever go back there.
Aussies Tolerate Scum
Average Food, Arrogant Staff. ToTo has decided to head in the same direction many Perth businesses are - DOWN. Having patronised this restaurant several times over the years, they have now become rather complacent.<br/><br/>On arrival, staff were amicable and attentive. This friendliness vaporised as soon as our group of 11 placed our orders. The first dish arrived in 5 minutes, which was very well. Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes took significantly longer. The 8th dish arrived 35 minutes after ordering. <br/><br/>The 8th dish was supposed to be Item 49. However, we received Item 48. As we pointed this out to the waiter, he began to insist that there was hardly any difference between 49 and 48. We then replied that our guest ordered 49 because it had additional spring rolls. Without another word, the waiter snatched the bowl and went to the kitchen before returning with the correct order.<br/><br/>At this point, we were lacking 3 dishes. We had to remind the waiters twice before they took us seriously and went to the kitchen to check. We finally received the final dish at 50 minutes after ordering. All along, the waiter made excuses like "kitchen is busy" and "maybe dishes were sent to other table". How about a "sorry" and "we will rectify this problem"? <br/><br/>The food here is acceptable for the price. However, it is unfortunate that the business is taking their customers for granted and taking on the attitude "if you don't wish to dine here, others will".

We took our room mate here for her birthday. We got a large table with 2 spare seats, the waiter asked us if we would mind if a couple sat with us, we said we would rather have the table to ourselves which made him get annoyed with us. He rushed us to order and snatched the menus off us once we had placed our order. The food was ordinary and because we were rushed, we ordered the wrong dishes. I would never go back again, the staff were rude, the dishes were not fresh and oo oily. Very disappointed!

Toto is great!. @Coupon chaser: You got upset, left the restaurant and gave such negative review about it just because someone passed wind next to you, because "Its very rude to pass wind out in public like that!". Come one please! What it has to do with the restaurant?! Who was rude the one accidentally passed gas (who don't?! seriously!) or the one just stormed out of the restaurant like that?
LifenFood
Well the food is good no doubt bout that but the question is the service!!!??? For me, regardless how good the food is, if the service is not up to the acceptable standard, then the food will eventually become bad!!!
Ms J
Rude waiter. I went there few times, knowing a waiter there is a bit rude but was alright in the begining. However the last time I walked in was really disappointing. The premise was quite empty and both my partner and I were waiting there for so long but no one came to serve. So we just walked in and sat in a corner. Then a waiter came and raise his voice on us saying: "Did anyone ask you to sit here? Go and wait outside please!" We were so shocked as never in my life I met this kind of customer service. There are so many more empty seats and he can just tell us nicely to do so next time, right? We just walked out in a bad mood, never will I want to return anymore. Somemore the food is not as good as before already, so many of my friends telling me the same thing as well. <br/>If you just want food, go ahead, worth to try but beware of the waiter...
Pete
Great Eating..... This restaurant was very busy...great atmosphere..nice friendly staff...<br/>We enjoyed a range of tasty meals...would go back again.
DD
Service is lacking when busy but the value for quality of food / price never fails to disappoint. Rice paper rolls, char kway teow (as delicious as hawker cart food in Penang) and raw beef pho are must haves. Easy pickings at To To. Always something tasty for a great price!
Global Foodie
Great Flavour. I love this place. The food is fantastic. Fresh ingredients, strong flavours and heaps of variety. For those that love Asian cuisine; but especially Vietnamese, you need to give this place a try.
Teck J Ting
Average food but overpriced. They put some effort in meal presentation but it doesn't justify the markup.
Brian
Very goooood. I have been to there a fair number of times and the food hasn't change much since the first time, which is GREAT. the food is good and affordable. The service is good too but the only set back is its always crowded. I have been there once or twice and not been able to get a seat but i guess that's because they are good
Andy
Avarage. Just wonder why is this restaurant ranked 1st among all of Vietnamese restaurants in Perth . Am sure there r heaps more better Vietnamese restaurant than To To. The food is mostly Chinese and I had the Pho which is a traditional Vietnamese soup and it was very disappointing. There were no taste at all . Thumb down . There r better Vietnamese restaurant across the street.
EatinPerth
Disappointing. It was once my favourite restaurant because I like the Bun Mam there. However, when I visited last, I found that the service was disappointing, the staff were rude, and they seemed like they couldn't wait to rush us out of the shop. The standard of food has certainly dropped as well.
K
Not bad. It's not a bad spot for Vietnamese but a few hiccups of late have made me head elsewhere, there soups are not as impressive so cross the road for more Vietnamese.
Carol
Love this place!. This would be one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Perth - food is always nice, fresh and very appetizing! Love the dried noodle with spring rolls and grilled pork - a very refreshing main with loads of veggies!
Pris
Simple, no frill food.. Food here is not bad - a decent feed. So far I've had no complaints on all the dishes I've tried here - broken rice, Toto soft pork bone soup, beef ball soup, dry/wet noodle dishes, their Bun/Boon dishes, their avocado milkshake. <br/><br/>Haven't tried their stir fry dishes with rice yet so will give that a go one day. Usually quite packed so the seating spaces are a little cramped. Service is efficient and people have been polite to us.
Coupon Chaser
Not for me. I went there with my husband, the entry door a bit dirty ... lots of hand marks, made me a bit worry, ...and the place was a bit crowded and cramped, they have too many table, and too close to others. <br/>The waiter handed me out the menu (need to clean that oily book please, next time), I stopped reading and left that restaurant after someone who was sitting next to me made 'a loud noise... Its very rude to pass wind out in public like that!<br/><br/>I guess that kind of crowded restaurant is not for me, sorry.
Seoulcitykitty
They really need to make an 'it's ok' option. A decent mid-week feed and much better than the last time I had dinner here....but I'm yet to find really good Vietnamese in Perth....
Kalo56
Nearly chocked. I used to love going to To To when it first opened,until......<br/>The service became rude!!!!<br/><br/>I found a small thick rubberband in my food and happened to mention it, not a word of apology and when I went to pay the bill the guy behind the counter was so rude I couldn't believe it.<br/><br/>It was if i was being penalised for letting him know that there was a foreign body in my food.<br/><br/>There was another time we went and there was a big black hair in our food. How unlucky because the food was really good.<br/><br/> Oh well lots of other good eating in Victoria Park and surrounding suburbs. <br/><br/>We will never go back.
Nat Nomnom
Loved it! What an enormous menu, there must be 25 drink choices alone! We ordered raw beef pho, a crab soup dish, a fried noodle dish, and fried tofu. Food came out quick and it was all really tasty, especially the pho and tofu. Good price too. The service when I went was fine, it was busy but not overcrowded, and the food came out super fast. Definitely going back!
Eliza Torres
Meh. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was average. The food was decent, and came out quickly once we had ordered, but it didn't leave me crying out for more or planning my next visit.<br/>We went on a Tuesday night public holiday and were glad we booked a table, people were lining up and waiting outside. The seats were crowded and it felt like there were too many tables in a small space. It took 40 minutes from being seated to placing an order, and only after actively seeking service for ten minutes. <br/>It's not bad and I would like to go back on a quieter night to try some different dishes, but it's certainly not a favourite at this point.
Delizioso
Could be worse.... My partner and I go here fairly often, it's cheap, quick and can get a table without too much tassle during the weeknights. Weekends are a different story. <br/><br/>I'd recommend the Chicken and Prawn salad to start, and the roast chicken rice is not too. The menu is HUGE, and can be overwhelming if you're not sure what you want. I don't consider it authentic Vietnamese if it doesn't have traditional Vietnamese pancakes on the menu, but hey, not a bad eat for a lazy Tuesday night.
AngieB
I won't be going back. Service is average, food is average and I ended up with a very upset stomach afterwards.
Adrian Morgan
Divine Food!. As a group of 5, we got there about 7.45 on a Friday night, without a reservation. There was cheesy music playing loudly through speakers onto the footpath and I wondered what we had let ourselves in for.<br/>I needn't have worried, that was very deceiving. Even though it seemed very busy, we were seated promptly. We ordered quite a few mains and shared them around, followed by some desserts with "interesting" names and descriptions. Every plate right down to the dessert, it just hit you as being so memorable, for all the good reasons.<br/>All up it worked out to be about $25 each for a fantastic dinner out at short notice.
Michele James
Tasty Food. Went with friends last night and enjoyed the food and company. Service was a bit haphazard and like has been stated before major gripe when can't get tap water!! I thought that restaurants were required to make it available at no cost.
Jane McGellin
Cheap Feed. Lots of $10 choices for a cheap midweek feed. I had the vietnamese beef noodle. They were good but not as good as they looked in the picture in the menu!<br/>Also what I really really hate which so many restaurants are doing this days is they refuse to serve free tap water and that makes me too angry to return in a hurry. It's not just having to PAY for water in a country where the tap water is perfectly drinkable, but it means every person orders a water bottle, which ends up in the bin. Disgraceful in this day and age of pointless waste! Surprised no one else has mentioned it.
Ian
I choose to like this but personally think there is better Vietnamese restaurants around...food was good and came out fast but the best pho in town? I don't think so...7/10
Jason
SHOCKING SERVICE - WAS ASKED TO LEAVE. VERY bad customer service. We had just finished our meal and was finishing our beer when the waiter RUDELY comes along and asks us to leave, so they can give the table to other customers waiting.<br/>I questioned the waiter 'Are you asking us to leave?" and he replied BLUNTLY 'Yes'.<br/><br/>When I went to pay, I questioned the cashier if it was normal practice to ask customers to leave. He replied "I dunno, ask the manager" <br/><br/>WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!!!!!!
LiveToEatAndBuggerTheCalories
Best pho in Perth by a country mile. Love the prawn toast, huge servings too. Book ahead because you will have buckley's chance of just rocking up and getting a table.
Foodie
Dissapointed. Really really loved ToTo until i was dining a few weeks ago and as i ate my meal started to choke on an elastic band in my sang choy bow. The waiter apologized and went to tell his manager but we did not hear back from him or the manager and when we went to pay for the bill he was very rude not apologetic at all and gave us no discount for the meal. Looks like phi yen in northbridge will always be my favorite Vietnamese
Lana Iwanicki
Disappointed. Disappointing, fairly average so called Vietnamese.
Marshy
Genuine. Wow!. Having lived in Vietnam for 2 years this restaurant is the most authentic I have come across in Australia. From the Com Suon to the Ca Phe Sua it is spot on. Highly recommend for true (not westernised) Vietnamese fair.
Kyla
This is definitely no Tra Vinh or even Viet Nosh, I think the authenticity of the food is very average it's like a rebranded Hans Cafe.
Paddlin'
A colourful array of beverages. Service is inconsistant but I dont go there to expect silver service. Meals come out fast and piping hot made with fresh ingredients. The iced coffee and avacado milkshake are to die for
Ryudiculous
Good food but.... The food is reasonably good but the service is seriously shocking. I know slow service is expected when it's very busy but these waiters are rude and disrespectful. People may forgive such service when the food makes up for it. But what will happen when their standards drop?
Chellie
Bens chicken was raw... Nuff said
Mdwelch
If u like msg this place is for u. Really bad, non authentic, mash of crappy generic Asian food. Very unimpressed and would never go back.
Eight Seconds Of Food
Beef noodle soup. I often frequent here at lunch for the beef noodle soup - one of the best in Perth! Only complaint is that service can be quite slow at times.
Otani
Totally average. Hmmm...I wouldn't say To To is bad, I just don't understand what the fuss is about. I'm surprised it's so completely packed daily! I've visited several times - the food is always average, and chock full of msg...and service is borderline rude (even when one has no real expectations of quality service!).<br/><br/>All I can surmise is, the owners have probably sufficiently "feng shui-ed" up the restaurant to keep the customers coming. Haha...
Sandy Nguyen
OMG. This is not a traditional Vietnamese, the foods based on Vietnamese but the taste is nothing like vietnamese foods. Tasteless foods I've ever eaten
Cynthia291
SHOCKING SERVICE!!!. This is not our first time to To To. Probably the worst service we have ever received dining out in Perth! It was only about 8.30pm and the restaurant was still half full. One of the waiter asked if we needed anything else, we said 'we are all good, thank you'. The next thing you know the A/C close to where we sat went on full blast. And then the next thing you know, the bill was presented at the table, without us requesting for it. I think it's poor and appalling to be treating a paying customer as we were treated, don't you think so? He could have simply said, we are closing off this section of the restaurant, would you mind settling the bill?
Michael
Service?. The worst service i have ever seen in a restaurant, after bringing the wrong entre AND one short they argued with us that we ordered it.......<br/>then the last one arrived at the same time the main came out so main send back, 10 min later the main came COLD and one short as well......<br/>ok 15 min after we finished and asking again the last main came, we shared and half way in it they tell us we have 10 min :O they say close at 11pm but it was only 9.30, considering we booked for 8.30pm and had to wait for lots with no sorry or anything i just can say NEVER again
Liz Farrell
Simply Fantastic!. Went to this restaurant a few saturday nights ago while the weather outside was pretty chilly, but the vibe inside To To Vietnamese Restaurant was amazing! Admittedly, I expected the service to be quite slow considering every table was full, but I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes we ordered we divine and the service was great.
Jen Sparrow
One of my favourite restaurants. I love this place, whenever I feel like going the first place that pops in my head is To To. The staff are lovely, service is quick and easy and the food is so delicious. I find it quite authentic, I love the mixed beef pho and the honey king prawns are to die for. They have a loyal customer in me!
MB
Excellent food and the service was great. Highly recommend it. We will be going there again
Danuab
Fat had not been cut off the beef in my soup. Two out of the four diners at our table were three quarters of the way through their meal before the other two arrived. Coconut milkshake was delicious.
Meg
Really busy, really fresh tasty food. Hate having to ask for my entree which arrived after we had all our mains. Kai lan dish was delicious, beef pho was yummy. Didn't love the sauce that came with the fresh spring rolls. Would definitely eat here again.
Mel
Bloody fair dinkum! Would recommend all my mates here cuz
Jan.tran
You must be joking!!. I couldnot believe the rating that this restaurant get. . The first time, I ordered Pho and from the taste, it was the worst I ever had. I couldnot even finish it. Also try other dish ( entre and dessert) and they are equally bad. Eventhough they have a large menu, most of the dish I tried were mediocre. Probably most of the viewer here do not know how Vietnamese dish suppose to taste
Kazzablanca13
This place packs out! Great service considering how busy it was. Pho ga, chinese tea and avocado milkshake $16. Fantastic value for money
Mfga
Sometimes I just go their for the avo shake. Nice.
Murgles
There is a clear reason this place has such a high level of happy reviews! Goodness me, the food is amazing. I loved the chilli lemongrass chicken... And their fried rice is the BEST I have ever had, so full of flavour and not just rice with peas. Give it a shot, it's worth it!
Kbislooking
We'll be back!. After reading all of the great reviews we had to check out To To on Saturday night. The place was absolutely packed but what struck us was the size of the menu... probably at least 20 pages of food heaven! This made choosing very difficult as it all looked so good. We ended up with two entrees, two mains and rice, which when the bill arrived came to about $55. We were full, satisfied and all up had a great evening. We will definitely be back to try and make a dent in that huge menu!
Morag Longbottom
Oh yeah. Best asian takeaway I've ever had. I havent dined in yet, but the place is always packed so I'll book ahead when I do. They have huge round tables in the middle with lazy susans for big groups to share meals, and soft leather clad booths on the side for smaller party's.
Clare Caldeira
Bobclare. We had lunch, rice paper rolls, a couple of soups brimming with interesting and fresh ingredients and coffee fin to finish. Noice! We have also sampled the dinner menu, place was packed, and our son with autism didn't seem to mind much! some seating is quite well partitioned off. The menu is huge and interesting. will return
Trix And The City
Too too good!. The menu is huge and everything I've tried has been great. It packs out early so best to book if you want to get a table.<br/>The noodles are fantastic and there are lots of choices - really cheap too. <br/>Say hi to the Jackie Chan lookalike waiter!

Top marks. Dined here for lunch Wednesday and have to say ToTo never disappoints.<br/><br/>Ate here with two friends and we ordered the spring rolls and a noodle dish each, chicken pho, beef pho and Tom yum noodle soup plus tea for three.<br/><br/>All dishes came out promptly and were piping hot. My friend could believe the amount of beef in her noodles and thought it was a generous serving.<br/><br/>Love it here and for $42 for great food, well worth it. I'll always choose this place when dining in Vic Park.<br/><br/><br/>-----01 Sep, 2013-----<br/><br/>Top Vietnamese. Used to come here regularly but since I no longer live in the area, visits are few and far between.<br/><br/>Ventured out this way Thursday night and was so glad we did. Good atmosphere (although the decoration is questionable) and prompt service. Back to familiar flavours of To To that they do so well.<br/><br/>Ordered the small combination fried rice, fish ball noodle soup, satay beef and the seafood claypot. A nice mix of flavours and always delish. My only regret is ordering the beef. The entree satay is always great but the larger dish consisted of a few too many soft, chewy meats which my palate didn't agree with. Would choose chicken or squid next time.<br/><br/>All in all, a winner. Judging by the number of customers too, it remains a popular place. Will be going there far more frequently from now on.<br/><br/><br/>-----23 Nov, 2009-----<br/><br/>Asian winner. This place is the best and I often frequent it on a Friday night. Def. book or go early to avoid waiting.<br/>Noodles are cheap yet delish. I think they make their stock using fresh ingredients so the soup is so flavoursome. <br/><br/>Has your standard Asian dishes at the back of the menu but have noticed that this is the place to go for noodles (nearly every table whenever I've been in tucking into a massive bowl =) ).<br/><br/>If you love your Asian delights, head to this place - it's joy!
Eatlikeme
Cant fault it. To to offers quick delicious Viet food. They are always packed, so come early. The service is always with a smile.
Spoonman
Fantastic food in very busy restaurant. Pho is great and have never had a disappointing dish. Very reasonably priced too.
PS I Love To Cook
This has become my new favourite!

Headed to Vic Park for lunch a few days ago, where i don't usually go because it's so far away from where i live. But it was totally worth it :) <br/><br/>We felt like something Asian so my friend suggested to go to ToTo Vietnamese Restaurant. <br/>The Menu's had pictures of the food which was perfect for us because we hardly eat Vietnamese food and didn't know what to order. <br/>I decided to get Beef and Pork Noodle Soup, and Vietnamese Ice Chendol.
Karen Cheng
Vietnamese food is one of my favourite cuisines in the world. And no matter what the weather is like outside, I just *love* catching up with my girlfriends over a hot bowl of Vietnamese beef pho! I have a few favourite Vietnamese restaurants that I like in Perth. One of them is called To To , in East Victoria Park. The decor is modern and quite classy
that is, it doesn’t have plastic tables and chairs, and plastic plants! The place is pretty noisy, cramped and the service is not that great though. During peak hours, you could be waiting outside for 15-30 minutes to get a table too. But it’s unfussy, quick and easy. And most importantly, the food is pretty great. Actually, I’ve been coming here for YEARS and I only ever order the Cooked and Raw Beef Pho and Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls
so I don’t know about the rest of the menu!
Gabrielle Trenbath
I love living in Victoria Park! With all its cafĂ©s and restaurants, it means that the world’s cuisines are represented and you don’t have to go far to find something wonderful to eat. So when a friend and I picked Vietnamese, we decided to try To To Vietnamese Restaurant as our spot for dinner. As they do traditional Vietnamese and other Asian cuisine, there is something for everyone but make sure you come early because it gets packed, even on a Thursday night.
Shiau Cheng
Despite being packed with customers, the foods were served very fast. I had a beef noodle, the beef was so fresh and the soup was so tasty! I loved the coffee too. My friends had a Vietnamese chicken rice and a combination noodle soup. They were pleased with their foods too. I will visit this restaurant again when I feel like eating hot beef noodle soup!<br/>

Some dishes were a hit and the others were a miss.

You should always be suss when a restaurant claims it can cook ‘Asian’ cuisine... I'm concerned about their health and safety standards... Overall: convenient location when I'm craving pho, but I'll stick to the noodle soups.
The Sneaky Pigeon
The perfect lunch. Easy to navigate menu. Vermicilli with braised beef, lemongrass Mixing it up is a fun ritual You MUST try the beverages at To To's too! They make the most delicious traditional Vietnamese iced drinks I have tried...although they say 'beverages', but they're more like desserts; shavings of ice mingling with cubes of jelly, lychee, creamy coconut milk and exotic fruits. So refreshing on a warm

Xin Wen and I thought the food could have been better if not for the high oiliness level. Otherwise, we found the food tasteful.
Chompchomp
the pork was deliciously tender and marinated to perfection and enjoyed by all at the table. With our bellies comfortably full we all skipped over the road to Baskin and Robbins for an ice-cream fix to end our chilled out evening and we were very satisfied and ready for our long weekend!
Bacon
We ordered sizzling beef and lemon chicken with steamed rice to share between two people. I usually order Pho and/or rice paper rolls at a Vietnamese restaurant, but unfortunately I had already had a brothy soup for lunch that day and couldn’t bear the thought of more soup.
XYZ
Service is quick, often abit too quick that it makes us feel like they are rushing us out the door to allow the next set of patrons in
Food comes out quite quickly too, but is always well cooked and more importantly it always tastes good!
Shaun
All in all a really good night with an enjoyable meal at a bill below $80. My parents really enjoyed the food and vow to visit again. I got a chance to taste more of what’s on offer on my second visit and really enjoyed the food. This place is popular so make a booking and grab some fine Vietnamese fare. There were plenty of Aussies here too, so they must like it.
WenY
Overall, Toto is a good place to eat if you come knowing what you’re looking for. I came here and tried 5 dishes only to find 3 are OK and the other 2.. disastrous. Horrendous horrendous. Their sizzling supreme chicken is disgusting and all their stir-fry vegetables are nothing more than a bad joke. Really a put off seeing the way those two dishes were done. If you’re here for noodles, I’ve tried the beef hor fun, and the pork & prawn noodles soup which is OK only. I would have preferred Viet Nosh @ Hampden Road and Tra Vinh @ Northbridge if it was nooodles soup that I wanted.
Jojo
Toto has been really consistent on thier food.

Slowly melting in the shade, the hot air rippling over the road surface seemed to have chased the lunch crowds away. The weather was hailing the return of a long, hot Perth summer. In the midst of the heat we spotted To To - a place we have always walked
