If you are into food and not atmosphere then get your skates on. Best bbq pork, roast pork and roast duck. Nothing like eating to the chop chop chop of bbq or roast pork. Not much seating but very popular and huge Asian clientele , so authentic food. A must even if you takeaway and eat at home.
Decent Hong Kong style food in the suburbs, fairly priced too. Sometimes the food at this place can lack flavour, depending on which staff are on. Generally tastes like home cooked food, which is kind of nice.
Always fast efficient service and if you're sitting down waiting that's only because you never rang ahead!

The food here is amazing! I love their chilli oil and the aroma of roasts waffling in the air as you walk by. It is a small shop with basic decor necessities that remind me of the various small stalls in Singapore. It can be very busy on weekends so do call ahead :)
Great roast meats in the northern suburb. You can expect great value, taste and decent portions here. The roast duck with egg noodles or rice, the roast meat and sweet barbeque pork are must trys!
However, do not expect a good level of service here. The wait staff throws cutlery on your table and they do not give out the sauces when you do take away. Please remember to ask for the sauces!
Came here for a late lunch today at 3:00pm because everywhere else was closed and we wanted a quick feed! Ordered a duck and roast pork rice and a chicken sweet corn soup! Portion size was generous and the soup was HOT and Fresh! We paid $15 all together, $10.50 for rice and $4.50 for soup! What a bargain! Highly recommended. Will be back to try other items on the menu.
Roast duck noodles cooked dry. Fabulous with Hong Kong style chilli oil. Average pricing at $10.50 a plate. Decor and ambience are basic. It's not a restaurant to entertain but for your meals.

The one place I love ordering the Beef Brisket dry noodles with soup on the side. Its cheap! Reliable! And fast! Did I forget to mention that parking is free and if you must walk off the calories you just ate, Morley Galleria shopping centre is within walking distance to burn off any calories you ate. What more do I love about here is that they are open 7 days a week with only public holidays closed. Which I am not angry about. Most dishes range from $10.50 - $12.
The BBQ-ed goods are just as good as the stuff you'd have to drive all the way into Northbridge for. But sometimes I'd wish they would consider having eftpos available rather than cash only.
Best Asian cuisine I have ever eaten. Been going here for the last 15+ years and they never disappoint. The friend rice is hands down the best in Perth by far, and the unique use of duck is to die for. If you haven't tried this place please do because you haven't had Chinese til you eat here.
I only ever order one thing when I visit the Golden King BBQ Express so my review is based solely on that one dish - roast pork and roast duck with dry noodles. It's a tiny little place that won't be winning any awards for ambience or service but it serves simple tasty food at reasonable prices. There's often a bit of a wait for a table if you're there at lunchtime on the weekends and many people getting take-away so I assume the other dishes are just as enjoyable as the roast meats.
Our go-to for take away cha-siu and BBQ pork. Under catered for a family lunch? Last minute dinner guests? No problem! Great stuff, but bring cash as they don't have eftpos. Leftovers perfect for fried rice, or for sneaky midnight snack. Ask for extra sauce: there's never enough.
A family favourite, been going here for years, roast and bbq pork, and the deep fried chicken with garlic are all amazing. Definitely recommend!
BBQ FTW!. All the dishes we've tried here (e.g. soups, noodles, rices) have all been pretty good to very good, but really you go to Golden King BBQ Express for the MEAT. It's not especially cheap, but it's fantastic.

Chinese Pearl. If i am in Morley, I have to eat at the Golden King BBQ Express. Great staff, awesome food and reasonable prices. I can't believe anyone who knows Chinese food can not like this place. Get yourself a pot of jasmine tea, drool over the menu, order the ambrosia and take in the wonderful aromas that waft through the place to tease you until your meal arrives.
I have only had one service glitch here in a number of visits and they made it right straight away. I love the smoky taste they give the meats. Their fried Kway Teow is my treat. I have seen a review here that didn't like this dish, but I will always have it here, it just beats everything else offered from most other Chinese foo d outlets i have been to.
The number of Asian customers I see all the time I visit the GKBE, reinforces to me just how brilliant the food here is, and how lucky we are that they chose to settle here and cook like angels. For fast food the result is better than most fine dining flavours.

Juicy roast duck. Dined here a few times. Even on weekdays it gets packed with people waiting for takeaways. I have only had two dishes here and I like them quite a lot - the roast duck with egg noodle and roast pork with rice. The roast duck is juicy and flavorsome.
Authentic. Very authentic tasting BBQ Chinese joint. Pork and Duck are fantastic. Owners look a bit miserable sitting in the corner but besides that great place for a good tasty lunch.
LUUURVE THIS PLACE!. The food here is delicious! No fuss, good chinese food. The roast pork and BBQ pork are to die for! Singapore noodles are really good too!

Good Food. Ordered the Sweet n Sour Pork , Deep Fried Chicken with Honey and Chicken Satay, ALL GOOD the Satay Chicken was the bomb and very well priced.
Best noodles in Perth. This place is amazing, fantastic food and very cheap. I come here at least once a week (for about the last year) and have never had a bad experience. Wet fried ho fun with mixed seafood is my favourite so far, but every noodle dish I've has is fantastic. Proper Asian cuisine.
Golden King BBQ. The food at this place is always very good. The take away is not as good as when you eat it there. Also don't expect great service or sliver service this place is pretty basic and as long as you can put up with some of the staff - who are quite rude sometimes - then definitely give it a go.
This is like Chinese real and authentic. Traveled alot in china and this is more the proper Chinese. Recommend the BBQ pork - it's like so tasty it made me wonder why I was vegetarian for 9 years.
Great BBQ Pork. Our family ALWAYS orders takeaway BBQ pork here. It is close by and so delicious. The steamed chicken and roast duck is also nice. The fried rice is to die for. I could eat a whole box of it to myself. The lunch menu is average though.
Okay, but there are better.... I just had a takeaway BBQ pork & rice which was okay, but not quite up to the admittedly high standard set by Hong Kong BBQ or Good Fortune in Northbridge.
On the plus side, Golden King is open on Wednesday nights, whereas the two aforementioned places in Northbridge are both closed.
Would I go back? Yes. Hopefully next time the char siu will have a little more flavour to it!
Animal sacrifice at its best. You know something's not quite right when worshippers gather on a regular basis to part with their money after eating a sacred meal. But somethings not quite wrong either when you worship at the altar of burnt animal offerings at lunch time every week day especially when said burnt animals taste this good. Roast pork with crackling - be a man, order the large serve or deep-fried this and that if oven roasting doesn't turn you on. Both are dry heat applications so you can assume they are equally healthy. Don't be a dummy by ordering the fried rice and spring rolls. Do the right thing - order the wontons and duck meat fried rice. Now, that's real asian f00d..

Meat FTW. Our first ever meal in our new home after we bought it was takeaway Golden King, eaten sitting on the bedroom floor. Golden King is usually better takeaway to be eaten in the comfort of your own home, but dine in or takeaway it is always great, especially the roasted and BBQ meats.

THE best clear chicken & vege soup. It's always fresh and so very tasty. The special fried rice is also fantastic!
Heaps of noodles with hot piping soup. Natural and refreshing. Plenty of wontons and some vegies on the side. Don't forget to put some white pepper on-top and eat with picked chilli! Noodles were slightly overcooked but still delicious!
The roast duck, and roast pork here is fantastic! Orders are prepared promptly and in the customer service is friendly. Fair priced food, that tastes good, can't expect much more!!
