Straight up beef and kidney pie! So good. They also do very nice samosas. Wait until 330pm and they do closing specials. Pies are good size and pastry is awesome.
The pies here are sooo good. The chilli pie and potato pie are my favourite. Friendly service. Always busy at lunch hour. They also do a nice wrap or roll if pies are not your thing.
Delicious beef and cheese pies, piping hot and fresh with quick service st the counter (even with a busy inch time crowd). Great pit stop in the city.
So many selections from pastries to desserts. I always loved to buy my salads rolls from here as they make it from scratch in front of you :) everything is decently priced which is good.downside is that most of the time, the ladies behind the counters are rude, like i'll ask for a sandwich with Beetroot and the lady just gives me an uninterested dirty look but still proceeds to make my sandwich anyway. Or they'll be blabbering to each other while serving customers. They really don't give a crap about customer service 😅 But... They make good food! 👍🏼👍🏼
Best bakery in Perth! Staple for morning teas. This bakery makes all sorts from spring rolls to pies to muffins. Love their fresh and deep fried spring rolls and in particular their fried samosas (like a triangular spring roll with curried mince mixture inside). They cater for bigger orders as well with platter options which is handy for the work place.

I drop by here sometimes on the way to work in the morning to pick up a roll for brekky.
I usually get a chicken avocado and salad wholemeal roll which is made on the spot.
They are very generous in jamming the roll full to the brim with fillings!
They do pretty good pies and sausage rolls as well.
If you're after a reasonably priced, stuffed as full as you can possibly get with chicken and salad roll or wrap to take away, then this is the place to go. Add jalapeño peppers and it's pretty much a complete meal!. I give kudos to those women behind the counter - I have no idea how they get that much in there!
yummy snacks perfect for a tea party or simply as nibbles. Not the healthiest but it's yummy and anyway, I doubt they're going for healthy. Staff is patient and helpful, and they have well priced party packs.
Best healthy burger i've had. This bakery is my favourite within the CBD. Everytime I get a burger made up the staff are very friendly, it doesn't take long to get my food and it tastes DELICIOUS!
The only thing that's inconvenient is where you order your burger from there is a big pillar right in front of it. Cant do much about that :) great place!
Always excellent. I've had a few things here (sandwich, wrap, meat pie, sausage roll) and have always been very impressed. Their marketing materials claim that they won a national meat pie competition...doesn't surprise me at all.
Super-fast...if you take cash, you can literally be in and out with your lunch in 10 seconds. Remarkably efficient.

Consistently great. This place is fast, cheap, fresh and tasty. The rice paper rolls are fantastic as are the curry puffs (yum)
Cold Spring Rolls are the best. This place is good at what is does - the basics. hot food is greasy but reasonable quality, but the fresh stuff is the best part - decently priced and good quality, eg sandwiches and rolls.
I HIGHLY recommend golden bakery's cold rice paper rolls, they're in the fridge with the drinks. they're the best in perth city. the meat ones are just noodles and meat but the vegetable ones are amazing, crunchy, spicy, tasty.
Best CBD Bakery. This bakery gets a lot of business from office morning teas with their tasty party pies, sausage rolls, etc because they are reasonably priced and quick service. The fresh vietnamese rolls platter at $25 is good value and a popular choice to go with afternoon office drinks. But my favourite is the made to order wraps for lunch, so much filling you can barely finish and usually under $8. This is by far the best bakery in the CBD.
Take-away Only. This little bakery isn't a café or restaurant; it's a take-away store only, which is situated in the heart of the city.
Along with their usual great bakery products they make the best samosas, spring rolls and the most amazing salads.
Bank west always provides a fab morning tea with food from here... Meat samosa's are sooo good ....a great hang over cure washed down with Red Bull!! Their rice paper rolls are yummy & cheap too!!
Quality Lunches and Pastries. I occasionaly visit the Osborne Park shop for takeaway lunch aas they have a fresh, reasonably priced range of sandwiches, prawn salads, sushi and rice paper rolls.
But best of they have an excellent range of pies, pasties sausage rolls and sweet pastry items.
Coming from SA I am always on the lookout for a decent pasty and their meat and vegetable cornish pasties are top.
I have also bought their party pies and other finger food pastries - they are obviously dearer than the Woollies offerings but the better quality of the fill and pastry is outstanding.
MMM Pies!. Popped in here for a quick meat pie yesterday. OMG the place had acres of choices and this was in the middle of lunchtime, they hadn't sold out.
I opted for a Plain Meat Pie, because I think that is the best way to initially judge a bakery.
The pie was really hot which is a great start, I noticed that the Puff Pastry on top was bulging, which is usually a sign that the heat has expanded the air space, but when I bit in, it was just full of meat. Fantastic.
The meat was in a beautiful gelatinous rich brown gravy with loads of flavour. The pastry was perfect, including the shortcrust base which never looked like collapsing.
This was a pie so good, that I finished it even though I was full from an earlier snack.
I am going to seriously have to explore this bakery some more.
So many delicious things under one roof. Delicious pies and sausage rolls time and time again. It was hard avoiding a pie for breakfast before every work day.
Sausage lover. I'm somewhat of a sausie roll aficionado and the golden bakery never fails, in delivering me meaty goodness, I've heard good things about the spinach & ricotta rolls too but I hate the vile weed

Great little savoury pastries for morning tea. Picked up some small chicken curry puffs and spinach and ricotta rolls for morning tea at the office.
They have a wide selection of hot pastries, in both regular size and finger food size which are ideal for morning teas. The little pastries are between $1 and $1.20 (or $10 - $12 for a dozen) which is very reasonable. The also had other sweet pastries like cakes, tarts and donuts. You can pre order food as well - they flyer they gave me says they also do Vietnamese spring rolls, fruit platters, and sandwiches (all of which looked like healthier options, but a little more expensive at $20 a platter).
Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough, and the pastries disappeared almost immediately after I put them out. So I can't actually comment what they tasted like, but I had a lot of people tell me they were really good and ask where they were from. They sure looked good, seemed to have lots of filling.
My only complaint is the counter at the shop is really high, you really have to reach to pay. It says EFTPOS is available but I'm not sure how they would pass you the machine.
I did take a trip down to see where this place is and one look through the warming cabinets and you know why it’s called Golden Bakery – the place is lined with all kinds of baked goods from sausage rolls to meat pies to samosas all with a lovely golden pastry. They also do sweet pies as well like custard tarts. A favourite supplier for work morning tea.
