We have been here numerous times and it's always our go to for a quick, cheap feed. The food is always tasty and their lunch specials (11.30am - 5pm every day) are all either $6.90 or $7.90. I don't know how they can make everything so cheap but still tasty! The service is also always friendly and you get complimentary tea. Definitely stop by.

The name of this restaurant has changed and the price of the specials have gone up, making the uniqueness of this restaurant disappear. When I last went there, many customers were coming in and were leaving once they saw the price increase. Didn't they realise that this would happen? Especially since the quality of the food hasn't increased. There weren't many places offering lunch for $6.90 (their price for specials before) but there are a few close by offering specials under $10.

Used to love the $6.90 wonton noodle soup but the price has increased to $9 since I last visited in Feb! So disappointed.
At $6.90, it was an excellent option for a clean, healthy lunch, and I would eat it every week. Unfortunately, at $9 it is bland and overpriced. Nothing has been done to justify the 30% price increase.
It was quiet - much quieter than before - and I could almost hear the crickets, or rather the humming of the girl behind the counter o.O
Why not just have the radio on?
Not sure about other meals, and otherwise the location, decor and food itself was ok.

Brilliant value for money, I came here with friends and the food, service, and staff were excellent. The restaurant is very clean and tidy inside, with lovely decor. I wasn't sure what to expect before walking inside, but I can definitely say this is a great little place for a meal. I had the pork chop soup, and it was nice, nothing too flash (excellent value for $11.80!), and very comforting considering I was suffering from a bad cold. Would come again!

The restaurant is terrible in terms of quality of the food and the pricing. I didn't know the restaurant had changed owner in April this year. The menu has shrunk dramatically from Chinese noodle cuisine to some sort of Malaysian or south east Asian food, and the execution of those food is terrible. I ordered Curry Laksa with seafood from the menu, and I was able to see clearly how they prepared the food because of its open kitchen. The cook literally poured the coconut milk directly into a bowl with pre-made paste, and she was using a spoon to stir, and then the noodle which was cooked in a boiled water got pulled into the bowl. When I saw the final product presented to me, it was full of coconut milk smell plus some frozen seafood that was clearly bought from supermarket. The worst thing was it cost me $15 and with this price, I can easily have a proper south east Asian food in many other place.
The cook using one home-style pan to cook everthing and did not even dress like a cook.
I had better experience at this restaurant before when it opened, but I will not coming back to this restaurant with this new owner in charge.
Hidious menu, worst Laksa I have ever tried so far, and way over-priced.

I had a lunch special for $6.90. Portion size was generous and there's even complimentary tea.

Mediocre taste, good value, bad diarrhea. Both me and my girlfriend had diarrhea. But would diarrhea again for that value! 3 outta 5.
