Shanghai Tea Gardens - Perth - Photo album

Relaxed surrounding and delicious foods, and kindly chef as well. Lovely space sooooo much, I’ll be back regularly.
very cool place, nicely decorated. menu is quite varied with plenty of familiar dishes plus some western style (xinjiang) options and spins on popular chinese dishes. the lunch specials are very good value and the rest of the menu is quite reasonably priced. we had xiao long bao, fried squid, xinjia
Most of food are really tasty. Price is reasonable as well.
Good point: Easily enough food to feed 4 or 5 ( 2 diners at the table). Bad points: The Beef Noodle meal contained beef on bone that splintered into pieces of tiny shrapnel that could chip teeth or get lodged in gums. Overall, flavour was average.
Quiet and cozy environment, great location, friendly staff. Some dishes are well prepared, others are terrible. Inherited the authentic old Shanghai style which was created by the original owner. Overall, not a bad place to catcht up with friends.
I booked a table for 8 , only to be contacted by text message 8 hours before my going , and told that due to them holding a function that evening, my booking was cancelled. I think it a bit "OFf" to give me such short notice, particularly as I had made the booking a week in advance. ! Not someth
There are better places to go along this street. If you do go, the eggplant clay pot is the nicest dish on the menu.
It actually doesn’t taste bad but there were a few pieces of raw beef in my dish.
