I had a great first visit today. Thank you for the SPLIT-BILLING which makes going out in big groups convenient to pay. Lovely spacious seating and we were allowed to choose where to sit. The menu was amazing with so much to choose from, I didn't know where to begin. I was surprised to see Street food and South Indian dishes included. I'll come next time and try these out - like the samoosa chaat and masala dosa. The puri looked good but it was too pricy. There was a choice of vegetarian dishes for me but I ordered the butter panneer and garlic naan as it is my favourite and helps me judge a restaurant for my tastes. I reminded the friendly waitress twice that I wanted my panneer spicy but it wasn't strong enough for me and there were not enough panneer cubes. All in all a great first visit and I'll be back friends pretty sooooon. THANKS TEAM KAUPHY. ๐ ๐ ๐
Stumbled upon this place while trolling for a feed. It was decent for its price. The chicken tikka was delicious๐๐๐ although the sauce was a bit watery. The egg parantha was good with the vege curry. The dosa curry was also quite watery. Not a fan of it. And the mango lassi was just a thick mango yoghurt. I'd come back for the chicken tikka and I will definitely try the biryani too.
Coming back twice in a week because they are so good! We had a Mother's Day High Tea Fundraiser last weekend and the service did not disappoint. Starters made all the guests very happy and everyone enjoyed the masala chai. Today we dropped by for a quick lunch, and staff is always accommodating with or without a reservation. Service is quick and food is delicious as usual.
Dropped by for a light meal. Uttappam was tasted all right. Sauces for this dish were alright. I got dahl, mild spicy coconut with mints, and finely ground peanut sauce. The service was good. Spacious dining area. Good for a family meal. Lots of sweet desserts and different types of curry puffs. Liquors are served. Free car parking bays. (2021-07)
There is parking available outside. The staff were friendly. The food waiting time was reasonable. As far as the food was concerned, I was happy with it. I ordered a chicken and masala dosa and they were both very nice. We also ordered non veg thali which was also good. You can also buy sweets from here.
I had a wonderful experience. This restaurant has a great variety of Indian dishes, included many takes on street dishes.
We shared a delicious meal here. It's very reasonably priced and the uttapam and methi pakora were particularly fantastic.
Atmosphere reminiscent of Bombay tea shops, lovely decor, delightful service, generous portions. What's not to love? Suitable for all age groups, party room available for special occasions. Menu has that touch of difference from usual Indian Restaurant fare- if you want to educate someone's palate to the simple street and chai shop fare throughout India- this is it.
