Was there by 8ish. Not crowded. Was excited to have dimsum. The pork siomai ok lah..shanghai dumpling also ok lah. Kids ordered sweet sour chiken...a full solid piece was given with no bones and was cooked well. Added to that was a fried rice with prawn and egg (no spring onion)....yumm...and singapore fried meehoon with chicken no egg ya...also yumm...request for a spicier meal if you are from jakarta...lol...or ask for chilly oil...asked for a mango and coconut pudding which wasnt there...service was good inspite of 1 man serving 3 tables. Keep it going....
Love the food here. There were just a few dishes that were not that good, but overall the food was good. Service was quick and staff were friendly.
Wonderful fish, noddles are good and rice is fine. Neighbourhood gem, definitely. And open everyday, which is great - not common on East Perth.
awesome food, price as expected. sweet n sour soup a must have. only qualm is that the bbq pork wasnt quite as crispy as i like it. ordered online and delivered in 30 mins
Went for Sunday yum cha lunch. Good food, good service, good price.
I am visiting from Sydney for work and have to say had an amazing feed the staff were great and could take a joke really we'll and even joined in I will have to eat here one more time be for going home 100% 5 stars
Amazing. The food is incredible and the staff are the friendliest I have encountered
I had lunch here yesterday! What a great find! I will definitely come back! Very friendly service, I had salt and pepper squid and fried rice which was amazing! That and a cold drink under $20
I've only ever had takeaway from here but it was pretty dam good!!
Love the vegitarian San Choy bow and chow mein, I think they are pretty reasonably priced & consistent in quality of food. The bubble teas are great whilst waiting for a takeaway!
Only bad thing I would say is they are quite keen to get your order so we have had them miss things once or twice but have learnt to be clear and repeat the order and they are fine, the girls are very sweet :)
Would recommend this place!
Great Food and Service. I had a great lunch with delicious Yum Cha and friendly service. Much better than the Dragon Palace - 66 Francis St, Northbridge.
Service is fine in this restaurant!. I visited this restaurant with my parents. They told me that some reviews indicated that the level of service was pretty poor. However, I've found that this is not the case.
The owner Mickey takes great interest in what the customer wants, so much that he takes an active role in assisting customers with recommending dishes, and seeking feedback on the dishes after the meal.
Dishes done really well in this restaurant include the steamed trout, Singapore Chili Crabs, crayfish on egg noodles, the honey pepper pork, and the salt and pepper squid. Their produce is fresh and top notch.
To all those who complained of bad service, give this place another go, and if there's anything you want, just ask the waiting staff and they will usually be happy to oblige you.
Fantastic dim sum, excellent service. This new restaurant near Hyatt serves very good dim sum, one of the best in Perth. And you think you have to sacrifice service for good food, like most of the dim sum restaurants you have been to? Not at this place. It's service is equally marvelous, one of the best I had come across. The restaurant is clean with beautiful deco and also it has a nice alfresco dining area. And the cost? about the same, or even cheaper than a lot of dim sum places at northbidge. Plus it is free for parking on the street all day on Sunday. Seriously, what else can we ask for?? We are definitely going back next week.
Nice dim sum. Same price as those dim sum places in nortbridge. The plus side is this place nice, clean, and not too crowded like in nortbridge. There is no rush and we can enjoy the food, no waiters banging cups, plates, bowls like in nortbridge when they get too busy and even people line up outside with numbers. Delicious dim sum, average prices, excellent services. Will definitely come back every weekend for dim sum.also the dim sum made fresh when we order with no more than 5 minutes wait.
Dim Sum was good. Had a Nice Dim Sum Lunch on Sunday. They had the "stock standard" dim sum fare. Like the person before mentioned, the servings were generous, and the items were freshly made.
Hidden Surprise. It was a surprise to come across a restaurant just outside an apartment building. Let alone a Chinese restaurant that offer Dim Sum everyday at the forgotten end of the city. (Adelaide Terrace). So you can imagine my excitement when I saw the sign Dim Sum 7 days a week. So one day I got my colleagues together and off we went to try.
The dim sum was fresh and delicious. The serving was very generous. The deco is nice and modern with lots of outdoor dinning tables available.
The only negative was that the staffs were more interested in clearing and setting up table than serving customers. As we only get 1hour for lunch we need fast service and food to come out as soon as possible.
Overall, it's a great restaurant with nice authentic Chinese food. So glad we can finally have dim sum on weekdays not just on weekends.
The food is very delicious would recommend you give it a try. Price is reasonable.
