Went here for a baby shower in a little private room of the venue. Atmosphere was gorgeous, food was delicious, would definitely go back :-)
Hands down my favourite high tea. I've been there three times now. Amazing service, and the menu is always changing and always delightful. They truly go above and beyond the standard high tea experience in Perth.
Excellent service and delicious food. My friend and I came for brunch. I particularly enjoyed the corn fritters with avocado. I will definitely go back.
Decided to book a high tea at Rochelle Adonis for a "mother-daughter" date - was a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews, and very happy when our experience was so good! We were seated outside on a perfect Perth spring day, under the gorgeous plane tree, and thoroughly enjoyed a really relaxed and delicious experience. The food was tasty - our favourites savoury was the salmon cones, while dessert was definitely the chocolate choux puff. Portions weren't huge, but we weren't hungry when we left. Service was fine - not hugely attentive, but not bad. All in all we loved it.
Went to Rochelle Adonis for High Tea for my birthday with two of my girlfriends. I was told this was one of THE places to go.
There is a two hour booking, but felt this was plenty of time.
Food: delish! You do have to understand it isn't a traditional high tea, there isn't a three level tier and there are no scones with jam & cream
Staff: helpful
Service: prompt and timely, however some additional staff training on service may be needed. The wait staff held our teacups by the rim.
Overall: a lovely afternoon
Chose this venue to celebrate a girlfriends' birthday & couldn't have been lovelier. The venue is so feminine and the food was beautiful. A perfect Sunday.
It is all about brunching in Perth these days and Rochelle Adonis is now offering brunch unlike any other brunch place I have visited in Perth. I'd be lying if I said I haven't been dreaming about the house brioche and raspberry curd since I walked out the gates last Saturday. The variety of sweet and savory was on point all whilst enjoying my very own Marie Antoinette moment in Rochelle Adonis' amazing front garden.
Lovely venue for high tea, beautifully decorated and the sweet delicacies were all delicious. I enjoyed the palette cleanser and the ice cream in between the dishes. Savoury canapés were nice and would have preferred to have an extra sandwich in the menu, we only got the cucumber sandwich. The desserts were definitely the winners!
I came to Rochelle Adonis on two occasions, one for The High Tea, and one for a walk in lunch a week or so later.
Both of these times were AMAZING. The High Tea here is like nothing you've ever experienced! Gorgeous, bite sized pieces of food are pretty much crafted by the kitchen into gorgeous meals, the tea menu is more extensive than anywhere I have ever been - not to mention the VINTAGE tea cups out which you drink them... it feels like a totally other world coming in to the restaurant, the silver, the flowers, the confections, its just a beautiful atmosphere.
The lunch I enjoyed was more casual but no less lovely. Well priced and delicious, the specials per day are so yummy and eating them under the huge trees in the cute courtyard is the BEST way to spend an afternoon.
Definitely coming back for High Tea, Lunch and the cheeky cake as well. One of my favourite places in Perth!
We had such a lovely experience here for my sister's 30th! I have been to a few high teas around Perth for celebrations that have been average and very disappointing, especially for what you are paying. This was so different. A really enjoyable and relaxed experience with such a homely and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were so attentive and lovely, unlike other places where they are too formal. Not to mention how yum and creative the food was without being overly outlandish. Absolutely delicious. I left feeling so satisfied. Can't wait to come back.
What a lovely time we had. The girls serving were so pleasant & the food was delicious. I left full, & hadn't been expecting to! This was my first high tea experience. The rose tea was Devine.
Wonderful high tea that's just a little bit different. I took my mother in law here who was visiting from interstate as she loves high tea. They can often be quite boring or offer average quality food but this was absolutely lovely.
The cucumber sandwiches were lovely - some of the best I've had, very refreshing. Next we had the savoury plate - a chicken terrine with celeriac; roasted capsicum and caramelised onion tart; arrancini; and a cucumber gazpacho. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I particularly loved the arrancini.
Next was a pallete cleanser - watermelon and lime iceblock which was wonderful. So refreshing! The sweets plate came next - an icecream sundae: vanilla icecream with passionfruit puree and caramel pearls; chocolate eclair; raspberry macaroon; and a raspberry and chocolate ganache cake. Everything was beautiful! The sweets were just lovely to look at and tasted even better!
There is a lovely selection of teas with unusual combinations that taste wonderful. Staff are friendly but often scarce however this wasn't an issue as they were there when needed and were very attentive. I also appreciated them having a spot for my pram which I'd requested when I called to make a booking.
The only disappointment was that we were not offered seconds of anything. I have had many high teas and have always been asked if we'd like anything to taste again which is always a nice touch. I'd have loved to have perhaps one more savoury and one sweet to be completely indulgent and for the price I think this should be offered. I'm only disappointed because it all tasted so delicious I was left wanting more!
It's a beautiful place, perfect for a special occasion. We both thought it was lovely and would definitely recommend it.
Sensational experience. I took my 2 sister in laws for a pre-baby celebration for one of them. Her pregnancy requirements were met and all of our expectations exceeded. It was great to have Rochelle float through and greet us.
What's great about Rochelle Adonis is that you never are met with the same course of food each time you visit. Expect something new every time you decide to attend! The quality of food is exquisite and it never disappoints. Afterwards, there is the option to buy the delicacies with a variation of marshmallows, butter cream cakes, macarons, ice cream and nougat - just to name a few.
For anyone wanting to visit Rochelle Adonis, it is definitely worth it! Everyone has a great experience and it definitely is a must do activity in Perth, Western Australia :) I would recommend everyone to try it at least once as it's one of those experiences you'll never forget.
Makes my mouth water every time I look at the pictures!

I went to Rochelle Adonis Cakes and Confections with friends. We enjoyed the "girly" atmosphere, the seating arrangements and décor. I would highly recommend Rochelle to anyone who wants to enjoy a high tea experience with a bit of quirky ness.
We had the most amazing girls high tea!!! Wow DELICIOUS! Can't wait to come back soon, will be having my going away catch up here before I jet set overseas. Thank you for such a lovely time!!
Rochelle Adonis by far offers the best High Tea in Perth. Everything from the incredible savoury and sweet courses, the beautiful space and amazing service is absolutely second to none. It is always such a pleasure visiting Rochelle Adonis and I can't wait to go back again! It is such a special treat.
I'm a big fan of Rochelle Adonis and the beautiful goods on offer. The classes they hold at night are fantastic, I've enjoyed both the choux pastry & macarons class and the cake decorating class. The high tea is also delicious and such a treat - my favourite item is always the cucumber sandwiches which are so ridiculously tasty I want more and more!
Some of the most elegant, delicious and decadent desserts in Perth. Perfect venue for a girls catch up or baby shower. Love the marshmallows and Portuguese tarts!
I am a huge fan of Rochelles High Tea. I believe it is a cut above the rest with everything made on site and delectable beyond words. Great with your BYO bubbles :)
The decor here is so lovely and the whole high tea experience is really cute. I thought the food was really good, lots of desserts! Decent selection of teas. We brought our own bubbles, though corkage was a bit dear.

High tea at Rochelle Adonis. Last Sunday we celebrated a pre wedding high tea at Rochelle Adonis, after reading all the negative reviews my expectations were low. However, the 20 of us ladies had a great time. The high tea is presented efficiently and the food is tasty, fresh and very delicious. I would be surprised to find any venue "quiet" that had many excited women in attendance. The staff were excellent and we also were informed that they required 15 mins to organise the next sitting. Understandablely if I was in the next sitting I would want my table ready. Any uneaten food can be parcelled up to go with you. I would go again.
Loved it. What an top spot for high tea in a beautiful autumn day.
High Tea not so High. After feeling like i had just been to an inteview to pay my deposit, expectations were high. The feeling of "pretentious" smacked you in the face, so this High Tea better be worth it.
We chose to sit outside, as inside was extremley nosy, which was the right decision. Perfect day, relaxing surroundings in this hidden gem. Our first couse were super fresh cucumber and dill sandwiches, delicious, followed by an iced cleanser that refreshed our pallate. Out came our plates of savoury goodies, with flavoured pleasantly surprising flavoured yum yums that tickled our tastebuds. So nice to drink tea out of a bone china cup! Followed was dessert time, and there the adventure stopped. Our sundaes were ok, but we each had a different flavoured one, I, choc brownie i think?? the other, ginger cake?? Nothing special and quite bland. Was not keen on the jelly, so left that, the caramel tart was to die for, as was the raspberry choux, and how it should be, crisp to the bit encasing your mouth with the sweet taste of raspberry cream. Worth the visit, but at $110 for two, overpriced.
Very tasteful and stylish, the service was great and very attentive. The $55 is perhaps a tiny bit steep as the food portions are so small, so you're paying for the service and surroundings. $10 corkage per bottle of BYO champagne seems unnecessary. Overall, a lovely experience!
Been twice... Staff are very friendly and welcoming and good was very yummy! Wish there was more smaller tables as there are only a few large tables to share with other people you aren't with however liked that they serve you savoury first and then sweets second and not all together at once, staff explain what each piece of food is. Definatley will go here again!
Know what you're getting into. Reading the reviews on this website I was sceptical to make a booking at Rochelle Adonis, but after some research (through the website and a little slip into the shop during the week) I have to say the 'disappointments' written on here were actually well informed in advance and nothing to be surprised about if you actually checked before you booked.
Came to the venue 15 minutes early as the lady who took my booking stated that the High Tea would start at 2pm SHARP and end 15 minutes to 4pm so that they would be able to reset for the next sitting. Website states that on Sundays there are four sittings at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. As I walked in a big group of women from the previous sitting were still chatting loudly so I was pretty stunned to see how the waitresses were able to clear the table AND reset for my sitting within the next 15 minutes as I waited.
At 2pm on the dot me and my three friends were seated on a high table along with another group, as Rochelle Adonis encouraged communal dining. I had known that we would most possibly be sharing a table because it was stated on the website, as did my friends, but the group sitting with us did not seem very impressed.
We were asked for our tea orders by a very cheerful waitress with extensive tea knowledge who also had no problem recommending a choice to my rather indecisive friends (Sidenote: they only do 'french-press' plunger coffee, but don't knock it until you try it, the blend was rich and well balanced and went well with the food.) The venue is also BYO with $10 corkage. The food was spectacular, not your traditional high tea though. No scones and jam, however they did pay homage with a simple cucumber sandwich, possibly the best one I've ever had with this crazy buttery soft bread. There was a 'palette cleanser,' a little sorbet, then dessert followed. We were asked if we wanted anymore tea or coffee as our glass tier of sweets came out, and looks did not deceive. The desserts were amazing... my favourite was their signature sundae vanilla bean ice cream!
The waitress also came around and informed us when there was 15 minutes left to the high tea, and kindly offered to pack our left over treats in a box to take home and enjoy. How thoughtful as we were completely stuffed! On our way to pay, people for the next sitting were arriving and awing at the beauty of the venue, it was truly so dainty and magical.
My experience having High Tea at Rochelle's was amazing, if not the best, but I believe only so because I knew what I was getting into. It's understandable that 1hr and 45 minutes flies right by for a high tea and at other venues high tea usually goes for +2hrs, but we knew this from the website and were also informed during the time of our booking. The service was attentive without being intrusive. High tea at Rochelle's was definitely far better than what I was expecting after reading these reviews, so ladies please know the procedures before arriving and being disappointed. Truly amazing experience.

Does not understand..... I don't really understand all those bad reviews about this place.
We had High tea yesterday and our experience was amazing, beyond what we could expect.
If I may I would recommend to all those unhappy people to write to Rochelle as she always welcome feedbacks.
Anyway, yesterday was my mother's 60th birthday. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a lovely French person who I believe is the manager. Her accent and attentions made the experience truly memorable. We were suppose to seat on high chairs but my mum getting old, this lady offered to move us to a more comfortable table.
As soon as we seated we were explained the tea menu and left to decide which one we would like.
Then water arrived and some bubbles that my cousin brought with us to celebrate.
Once we had our teas, the first course arrived. Everything was really delicious and not from the regular high tea.
Even the simple cucumber sandwich was very tasty.
We even had a courtesy visit from the French lady to see if everyone was happy.I have to say that the waitress was also very lovely and knowledgable.
We had then a sorbet and the sweet course and more tea !! I actually had the coffee and was very surprised by the quality of coffee served.
Overall, the service was friendly and efficient. The food was authentic and lovely.
At $49 per head plus corkage, I would not come everyday but have been there few times now for special occasions and always had a good experience.
It is not fair to read so many bad reviews on this enchanted special place. You don't find so much prettiness under one roof in Perth.

My mum, sister and I visited this afternoon and had an absolutely lovely afternoon. Both the savoury and sweet courses were impeccably presented and flavoursome. My favourite savoury dish was the ham terrine and my favourite sweet was a close draw between the meringue and sundae! We all thought it was also great value for money with two pots of whatever hot beverage we liked each and the delicious food. We were surprisingly full! For a first visit, it left a great impression. We will definitely be coming back.
Despite reading some negative reviews before going we were pleasantly surprised. It is a relaxed and elegant atmosphere so if you are after quick and larger servings of food this is not the place for you.
Thanks for a great experience!
Great food, service can be improved on by a mile but will definitely be going back! I was taken to Rochelle Adonis by a friend for my birthday. We were in a 2pm Saturday sitting, arrived a few minutes early, said we had a booking, and were told to wait outside on a very hot day. At around 2.10 we proceeded back inside as we felt we had been forgotten about. It was explained that another group had booked for 12 but changed to 2 so would we mind the seating outside. To be honest it was so noisy inside you could barely hear yourself think and the breeze outside was lovely and much cooler than inside. They had set up a lovely seating in the shade under a tree so we were very happy there. The food was wonderful. The waitress explained what everything was and was very helpful when we asked questions. We had brought a bottle of bubbly as it is BYO and our glasses were kept suitably topped up and we were still offered tea and coffee. I think the fact that we were away from the loud noise inside and didn't have to share a table, meaning we could relax and eat and chat made the experience all the more pleasurable. Most of the negative comments on here seem to be centered around the setting, so we will definitely be going back and sitting outside.
Loved it. I really enjoyed our Sunday high tea in spite of originally thinking it was very pricey. The food was all fantastic and beautifully served. The staff were fantastic too. The only thing I didn't like was having to share a large table with other people who weren't part of our group and that we were promptly asked to leave and pay at the end as they had to set up for another booking.
